2 days ago I went to work out , once I was done I wanted to use the sauna , to my surprise there was a female cleaner in the men’s change room where guys are taking showers , walking around in underwear, I’m sorry but I can’t do that ,
I made it clear to the person at the desk that it wasn’t proper for a female to be in that area , he did nothing and in fact he said he didn’t know anything about it ,
Today once again sane thing and same person at the desk didn’t even care , useless really
What would happen if it was the other way around , this shouldn’t happen no matter what
Desired outcome: Don’t let a female clean the men’s dressing room unless you close it all together
Crunch Fitness - Payment
I cancelled my account yesterday and I was told to pay $22.50 and I will be all good. it was stated clearly. and now I called to confirm, I was told that on the 28th, another payment will be taken on the 28th of this month. I was just not happy with the fact that I was not told this and then when I complained I was told that ohh most of the people were new which was not a valid response...
Crunch Fitness - Personal training / general customer service
I have been a member for years. Recently I purchased a one year personal training package to get back in shape. Due to a knee injury last May and surgery last January, I hadn't done much fitness and needed to get back in shape. After first session, I pulled something. Not sure what it was yet. I saw my doctor. He prescribed anti inflammatory meds. I went to 2 more sessions. The pain was excessive. I saw my physio therapist who suspected a c6 disc herniation. So, I called the gym yesterday at 3 pm to let them know that I would not be in for my 4 pm training apt. I told Cohen the situation and that I could not get through the workouts and that I thought the workouts are you hard for me. I asked for an appointment to come in to discuss next steps. Later I received a call from training manager. This call resulted in her saying she had no time. That there's absolutely no cancellation allowed due to my contract. That she can assign a new trainer, but I get no choice. I reminded her that I'm severely injured, I can't workout right now. I asked about qualifications to see if they had anyone with physio background or something. She got defensive and hung up on me. I called back to ask for a meeting with manager or owner. That conversation resulted in the receptionist telling me off. I then got an email from a manager who was wrongly informed about what had happened. She offered me that I could cancel if I have a doctors note or to put things on hold. I sent her back an email saying OK, cancel my membership and my training and I'll get you that note. Then she backtracked, trying to offer me that meeting with the training manager not accepting to cancel my membership. All this just because I'm injured and called to say I'd miss an apt. At this point, I feel that the relationship between myself and the gym is broken and not repairable. To charge me over $1300.00 for sessions I can not attend is outrageous. I'm a single mom. It's not OK to take people's money, especially when I got injured in your workout. I can't possibly ever feel comfortable working out there or showing up there and that's why I want to cancel my entire membership. I don't see why I can't cancel it. I asked 3 times in writing now. Just outrageous. Marie Sonia Albert
