I left your store crying. The store is on Oxford Street and Gammage in London, Ontario and today is Tuesday Feb 21 and the time was between 9:00 and 10:00 am. After doing a full grocery shop, I went to the self check out to be told that only 25 items or fewer are allowed as of Feb 19th. I use the self check-out because I have a mental disorder that makes me very stressed at the regular check-out; grocery shopping itself is very overwhelming for me but I suffer through and spend around $300 weekly. I was so happy once the self check out came about because it made shopping a much easier experience for me. I was grateful to Superstore for adding this service. Today, to be told no was a slap in the face.
I asked to speak to the manager. I want to be clear there were only two check-out lanes open, there was a line-up at each till and the self-check out was virtually empty. When I asked the manager why this rule had been put in place, she wasn't sure. They staff were very accommodating and opened up a lane for me so that I could finish my shopping without as much stress. I was brought to tears due to the level of frustration. The manager was lovely and the staff was great. However, if this rule does not change, I will be spending my 30k annual grocery bill elsewhere. I spend a lot of money in your store and should be able to check out my groceries any way that I wish. This rule is ridiculous and needs to be retracted.

Desired outcome: This rule should only apply during busy times and not when the store is empty.
Real Canadian Superstore - cashier service
I was in on Friday November 22 at the real canadian superstore, at oxford and hyde oark in london ont around 1pm. The cashier on lane 5, her name is Rose. There was ONE person infront of me and I was in line for 35 minutes because she was so slow. She continued to not scan items from the front of the belt so it would move forward, so I was not able to put my groceries up. To be waiting in line for 35 minutes is absolutely rediculos! I had given her 2 coupons that were exactly the same and I understand you have to read each coupon but I had said they were exactly the same. She took 3 minutes to read EACH coupon. I know how the store works, I have worked in a loblaw previously. This is very poor productivity and customer service. I was almost late picking up my children from school because she took so long.
I now know I will never go to a register that she is working at from now on.
Real Canadian Superstore - blatant false accusation of theft
Tonight I was accused of stealing by an employee. I enjoy shopping at night since it is quiet and mostly only employees around. I was so shocked that I do no remember the exact word exchange. All I know is that when confronted I took off my thin cover up that I had on over my dress and my wallet and threw it on the ground. All my items were in a cart far away from me. So then she said I must have dropped it off somewhere and then when that didn't work she made up that she saw me! And instead of confronting me she supposedly does nothing but then 2 min later confronts me. I had nothing on me, I was accused of stealing and then accused of putting things back even though everything was in my cart 10 meters away from me. First she said a customer said I was stealing, then she said that she saw me stealing or shoving stuff down my dress? I demanded to see the camera and an apology and then she has the audacity to say she won't apologize even though she kept changing her story. I have a traumatic brain injury with PTSD so you can imagine that I had a meltdown. The employees were allowed to humiliate me while the useless manager did nothing. I am HUMILIATED and I do not trust them about the camera now that they refused to show it to me. I will not rest until they are all fired for doing this to me tomorrow. I had more than $250 of stuff in my cart, they can shove it and it isn ot my fault that the pathetic employee can't afford to purchase a new pair of jeans or wash her hair and that she can't afford 1 thing in my cart. I stood there frozen while yet another teenage girl went through my cart saying how there are different sizes in my cart? I am now realizing how badly I was treated and then I walked away with the manager to give my information and they were all gossiping about me to everyone while I stood there and I couldn't take it and started to cry and then I couldn't breath and I told him how dare he allow this and that I had a serious health problem and I am a Graduate student. There is nothing worse than being accused of THEFT, you do not blindly take he word of a customer since you don't know. This was MALICIOUS since iwt went from one customer saw you to 2 customers and then finally she saw me. I told the useless male manager: I will not rest until she is fired and you too and therefore I do not trust you not to be more malicious and I will not wait for him to call me in the afternoon - I will be calling at 7AM and head office too.
