Dear Sir or Madam
I hope you are well. I am extremely unhappy with Best Buy, in particular the staff members Orit, Alannis, Tenzin at 2400 Yonge Street as well as the online call centers.
I attempted to purchase an airconditioner about a month ago. The sale did not go through initially. It took several visits to the unhelpful store as well as several calls to the call center to finally get the order delivered.
One of the items ordered was an airconditioner. Upon receiving and opening up the airconditioner, I found that it needed to be installed by an HVAC contractor and that several other attachments not included would need to be purchased. This was not stated under the description of the item.
I contacted the supplier requesting a refund and was advised to post the item to Montreal and that a 15% fee would be levied. This is unacceptable as I simply wish to return the item to the nearest Best Buy store. Please tell me that this is not how businesses are allowed to do business in Canada.
