Just wanted people to know, if you buy furniture or go to a lending company for money, ASK first who the lending company is. If it is Citifinancial, they lie and take money out of your account without your knowledge until its too late! They want you as a customer, but as soon as you have a financial situation, they don't care! They are so unorganized at their place of business, you tell one representative when you will make a payment and they tell you that they will put it in the computer and the next day someone else calls! I know of people who have lost their home due to their cutthroat way of doing business, please be careful and ASK!

On July 9, Canada's Competition Bureau filed a legal action against Leon's and The Brick alleging that the home appliance and furniture retailers had engaged in false or misleading advertising related to their buy now, pay later promotions. The retailers' card issuer charged a hidden $35 annual fee to consumers who participated in the promotions. I think people should send a e-mail to the Competition Bureau thanking them for filing this case if they win and I hope they do this is a big win for everyone we should also mention our experience which includes the Finance Companies that Leon signs you up with like Citifinancial or Wells Fargo. I wonder if they get a kickback for signing people up with these Companies. Thanks for sharing your story. Please check out the link below it provides a copy of the court documents showing the details of the law suit.
