Blackberries were on sale for 99¢, but they were sold out. I asked for a rain check, but was refused by owner Mr Bourgault, ostensibly because there would be no more blackberries until next year: the season was ended. I asked for a rain check "anyway" as I doubted the truthfulness of the claim, but was refused. Two weeks later, there is a display full of blackberries, now priced at $2. The dishonesty leaves a sour taste.
