My husband took our car there to get the tires changed. They told him it should be ready within 2.5 hours (@3:30 pm). My husband didn't have a ride, so he waited there. Car want ready at 3:30, 4:30, 5:30. I called @6 angrily and the employee told me it will be ready by 7:30. But he told my husband later that it will be ready by the end of the day (their store closes at 10). He made all the excuses which may/maynot be true, but it was their fault. On top of that, his tone wasn't good. Is this their service?
Desired outcome: Employee didn’t care abt the problem their own staff created. We suffered. Never going back there.
Canadian Tire - Item for sale and unable to buy
Upon asking to purchase a gun safe that was on clearance in the store I was informed by a manager, Josie, that there were no new safes in the warehouse and the floor model was not for sale as there was no combination for the safe.
I found it very unprofessional that the safe had a clearance price on it and i was unable to purchase the item.
I am sure there is a way to get a combination from manufacturer for the safe but having something for sale and not selling it when asked is very unprofessional and frustrating.
I was looking at purchasing 2 safes, see attached photo of safe on clearance, the one on clearance and a second smaller safe that was on sale for Black Friday.
After talking to the manager I decided I did not want to buy the 2nd safe due to the unprofessional attitude I found from the entire conversation.
This is the worst customer service I have received at a Canadian Tire store and find it very odd that the store would have a price on something on the sales floor but would not sell it. Josie took the clearance sign off the safe after our conversation, I do not belive the safe should have ever been for sale.
I have walked away from Canadian Tire very unsatisfied after this experience.
Canadian Tire - Customer service
We went to change a battery of our brand new car remote. The guy over there had no idea what he was doing it took him more than half an hour to change the battery. He even didn't know how to put back the pieces and close it I asked him if he can go and asked for help he said there is no export and finally he took it some where and came back said he got it .we left the store to our car and notice the lock button of the remote isn't working we came back to customer service and the manager told me they aren't responsible for any damages he could easily ask any export from their auto shop to at least look at it but he even didn't try to help
