mushroom soup
I was about to make my grandchildren their favourite cream of mushroom soup for their lunch. When I opened can what I found was big brown chunks of what was suppose to be cream of mushroom soup.
Looked disgusting. Expiry date was 2018. We always check expiry dates when shopping for anything. Thought this soup was all right to eat but NOT!
Even though the expiry date was 2018!
Now 2 of my 4 grandchildren won't even touch this mushroom soup even though it was their favourite. The other two are fine with eating this soup but need to see it first before they agree to eat it.
Not here to stir up trouble, just thought you might need to know of the problem I had with this soup!

campbells chunky old fashion vegetable beef soup.
This soup was horrible. I never expected anything like that from Campbell's, the meat was big chunks of so called beef that looked like the meat in dog food, the taste was indescribable. I wanted to throw up, plus the potatoes was rotten with black rot spots. And there was celery strings galore, it was if they threw in a big ball of celery strings. when there was nothing else to eat, there was always Campbell's soup, not any more, I will never buy Campbell's soup anymore, I would not want my grandchildren to eat that mess!

new england clam chowder
I purchased online from Walmart 2 cans of New England Clam Chowder. I opened 1 can and was disgusted with large black blemishes on the 2 of the potato chunks. I threw the chunks out but also experienced a spoon full with sand in it. I threw the can and soup out, but realized I should have taken a picture. attached is a copy of my receipt.

campbell's tomato soup
I bought 4 cans of tomato soup on June 5 and I have opened 2 cans and had to throw them away because they where no good. I have never had a problem like this before and Campbell's is the only brand that I buy. I paid $3.83 and I can not afford to waste my money on buying items that I have to throw away. I am a 70 year old women and buying your product all my life.
I have just opened a can of campbells tomato soup one sip and I was vomiting. can't believe it, I thought they were a good quality soup. what is happening?
Exactly! I am older also and get pretty sore when I find unbent cans of Campbell's tomato and chicken noodle soup in my cabinet, leaking ugly black stuff through the side of the can(still before the "use by" date). A sticky, unusable mess that I have to clean up and throw away, some of us can't afford to buy these products and not get to use them. I have always trusted Campbell's for good soups, I may have to rethink this. Maybe start making my own soups again, probably cheaper i the long run.
pork & beans
I bought 3 cans of Pork N Beans, 53 1/4 oz. to make baked beans for a birthday party. Upon opening the cans and draining the unwanted 'juice' off, I ended up with way less than 3/4 of a can of beans, on all three cans. Ran out, on a Sunday, to get another can to replace all that liquid. All can lids say RC 03097 and expire Mar 2019. Needless to say, I am not happy, why pay for the brand name and get generic quality. My last can of Bush bean was full to the top!
v8 bottle fault
I am writing this letter in regard to a purchase of V8 Purple Power, containing: purple carrot, beetroot & apple. This was purchase by myself on 20/4/17 and I attempted to open it on 25/4/17 when it exploded resulting in purple liquid being sprayed on kitchen cupboards, bench tops, floor, walls the luiquid even went as far as the dining room where the wooden table and beige carpet were also sprayed. I draw your attention to the enclosed photos.
The liquid has stained all these areas, and while I have attempted to clean up have been unable to remove the stain and to eradicate the colour from the areas affected.
Firstly I checked my insurance, which does not cover problems such as this. As this was due to a possible faulty bottle or batch of juice, resulting in the bottle exploding, I am requesting your company to cover the cleaning or repair of damage for this occurance.
I would draw your attention to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) which states that when purchasing in Australia that items must be safe to use, free of faults and fixed or replaced if there is a problem. I purchased the V8 Purple Power in good faith, believing that all I had to do was open the bottle in order to use it. The resulting exploding bottle and staining is not my fault, but would appear to be a manufacturing fault and therefore request that your company inspect the damage caused and pay for cleaning or repair of the damage caused.
on the go cream of chicken soup
First one I drank and then noticed something that looked like mold on the sides and bottom inside the container.
Second one I heated then poured into a bowl. Again the inside of the container looked like mold stuck on the sides and bottom.
Third one I poured out without heating and found the same mold looking stuff on the inside.
I checked the dates and they were not out of date.
kickin buffalo chicken style soup
At, about, 11 a. M. , today, tuesday, feb.7, 2017, I was opening a can of kickin buffalo chicken style when, a loud startling poof occurred, and soup exploded in my face, all over my clothes, face, wall, floor with soup going directly into my eyes. Lid lying on floor, soup there, on walls, in my hat brim, on my face and eyebrows, had to, immediately, get that spicy sing solution out of my eyes. Burning occurred and, almost, lost my balance trying to, quickly, escape the sound. Did, immediately, call store, where purchased, g. E. Mgr, grocery, said sounds like manufacturer's problem. Haven't, yet, contacted legal or consumer / pa complaints. Solution ? Determine it!
Campbell's cream of mushroom soup
On Feb 1st 2017 as I took a spoonful of cream of mushroom soup I had just cooked I felt something sharp in my mouth, and upon spitting it out found it was a tiny bone likely a rat bone by what it appeared like. You can imagine my horror upon removing it from my own mouth, gagging at the thought, not knowing if I'd swallowed other pieces in the previous spoons. Simply terribly disgusting.
Upon calling Campbell's Soup customer service line, I was told they would send me a package to give the bone to them, and that they would offer me a coupon, or since I instantly replied I would never eat their soup again, the coupon would be worth a dollar for cost of soup. Are you for real was my immediate thought. Wow.
Needless to say I was not happy with their cavalier attitude to finding a rat bone in my soup, and their means of compensation for this. I refused that and decided instead to submit it to the Canada health board to follow it up with an investigation. Nobody should be subject to finding rodent bones, insects or worms in their soup. By what I have been reading and the way the man spoke on the phone to me, it doesn't seem to be very isolated incidents.
Never will I consume Campbell's soups again, in fact I may never eat any of their products since it appears that their sanitary processes are indeed lacking and quality control needs a serious overhaul. It's apparent by their response on the phone that given they don't provide any real relief for people who have been affected by this, it seems they just don't care. Kind of an oxymoron in their title online of the Customer Service which is Campbell's Cares. NOT.
Pretty nasty stuff, people should be careful if consuming their soups or products, particularly even more scrutiny into cream soups which can hide some nasty things you might just be swallowing. Yuck.
label for education - did not have 1 point for your school on label
Jan. 20, 2016 I purchased Campbells chunky soup at local Walmart store on Jan.16th. 2016 "Chicken Broccoli Cheese with Potato. I have no complaint on the soup, it was great!. I went to take off the the bottom part of label that has the points for education, I save these and give them to local schools. and noticed there were no points available on this can. i was very dissapointed for that. The UPC is [protected] 7, Nov. 09 2017 (date on bottom of can). I do know if that was a mistake or if you that soup selection does not have points available, but all other soups do seem to have points on them. or maybe that is going away from production soon. I would just like to know why? Sincerely, [protected]@yahoo.com

new england clam chowder soup
Purchased 6 cans of soup on Sunday Jan 3. My Husband opened and heated the New England Clam Chowder for lunch on Tuesday Jab 5. There were BONES or things that looked like BONES in his mouth and he spitted them out. I looked at them and was disgusted and sick to my stomach. See the enclosed picture. I am taking the remainder cans back to Safeway and never buying Campbell's Chunky Soup again... ever!!!
Read full review of Campbell'ssoup - chicken gumbo and chicken with rice soup
The rice in these two soup is not prepared right! The rice is crunchy and the seasoning taste like artificial salt " salt substitute" which is horrible. Is the rice your using in these soup coming from china? That would explain why. I hate it now!
advertising
I watch television as do my grand children, and it is becoming very frustrating to me to try and explain why two women hold hands and tell how they love each other, over a bowl of soup! then later I get to watch two men say I am your father, when in all reality neither are his biological parent! these kind of adds undermine the real parents out there trying to teach their children a normal way of life. These adds truly offend me and my wife and our values. I would like to see these commercials removed from television, because they are not necessary to sell this product.
Oh boo hoo cry a river, build a bridge, and get over it!
chunky sirloin steak soup
My husband and my self had purchased 10 cans of Cambells soup from Smiths store . First can I made was chunky chicken with dumplings. Not bad, the sirloin steak was absolutely horrible. In it 4 pieces of corn, no sirloin steak, 3 potatoes, 2 carrots no green beans and lots of thick sauce. My husband and myself grew up on Cambells .This soup was the best growing up. What happened ? I was looking forward to feeding my first grandson his first can of Cambells. It's supposed to be something that passed down in families. When you figure out what's is not getting in to you soup cans let me know.
" I was looking forward to feeding my first grandson his first can of Cambells. It's supposed to be something that passed down in families."
Really?
clump of hair
Made dinner for my family and found this clump in our food. It looked like a clump of right hair. I called Campbell's soup they asked me to send it into them for analysis. The lab results said it was mushroom particles and they sent me a $25 check and some coupons as if I would ever buy their product again ! Take a look at the photo below!
The subject line says it all. Photos attached.
I found these items on sept. 22' 2015.
I will never buy a Campbell's product again.
I'm shocked by the other complaints of similar experiences.
What can I do about this?
piece of wood
I can't believe that this was in my Campbells Gouda today! I was at work and was eating my lunch when I started choking badly, when I finally dislodged it from my throat what Appears to be a sliver of wood! I can't believe this was in there! I always drank my soup in a cup poured straight from the package and it was an upside down, recently packaged cup! It definitely came out of my soup! I am NEVER eating this again! Scared me to death! #shameoncampbells #betterfireinspectors
metal found in food
My Mom came home from work and heated up a can of Campbells Mushroom Soup like she has many times in the past. About three quarters of the way done her soup she took a mouthful only to find what was not a mushroom, but a fairly large chunk of metal. She thought it was a mushroom at first but of course it was distinguishable once it was in her mouth. Now, how could a large piece of metal get through their systems? I personally have no clue how things like that don't get caught. She could have swallowed that and who knows what could have happened. Our dog could have eaten that by mistake and that definitely would have severely hurt the insides of the dog. My main concern is that, who knows if there were smaller pieces of who knows what that she DID consume without notice. If a big piece of metal like that can somehow make its way to the finished product then who knows what other small fragments make it into soup cans / other canned goods every day. I'm now afraid to have any soup / canned foods and I doubt she will ever be purchasing from Campbells brand again. We have told everyone about this story now only to find they they too have had bad experiences when it comes to finding unknown substances and strange things IN Campbells canned items. The amount of people that we have talked to who have had mysterious and unsafe things found in their Campbells soup is quite scary. I hope that no one gets severely hurt from it because a piece of metal like we had is NO good for anyone or anything. If she gets stomach sick, at least we have a good idea of what the culprit was. Good day, and please be careful everyone! You just never know what is in packaged food I suppose. Happy Easter..
Okay now tell the truth, when did Campbell's fire you?
