Prescription over a month old now
my doctor sent a prescription on Dec 2, I was told it would be 8 days, but at first they didn't fill the order until the 15th, but my credit card was already charged for the prescription. So its now been over 20 'business days' and over one month since I placed the order and the legal prescription was sent to them and all I get are excuses and vague reasons of the 'holidays' delaying shipment by email. When I call, all three times I get asked about 20 identity questions and put on hold for an average of 8 to 10 minutes each time then there is 'wait a minute while I place you on a brief hold which lasts another 5 minutes or so" To this point none of the totally incompetent phone reps at this inept company know anything, they are know as CUSTOMER DISSERVICE AGENTS.. there is no tracking number or way to even verify this order was actually fulfilled, this is not only fraud misrepresentation it is felony theft for using a federal and international financial transaction to not complete a promised delivery and fulfillment it needs to be reported to the Canadian and US authorities this company needs to be out of business.

Purchase from abroad
I made an order from abroad. I emailed an original prescription for Jublia. I kept receiving emails from them and each email contradicts the previous one. CanadaDrugs.com has such a bad reputation that my Canadian doctor refused to call them to confirm the validity of my prescription. I received an email clearly saying that the first purchase can be made using a scanned copy and only a refill will require an original posted by mail. I double checked via their chat and that was confirmed. Then I received 2 emails, one asking me to call and clarify and the other about cancelling the order.
If you can approve the order, then I'll go ahead but since I already emailed an original prescription, there should be no obstetrical to send me the first order now, and require the original by mail only when I need a refill.
Ruth, thank you for your patience. Thankfully we were able to reach someone at your old pharmacy who was willing to help transfer the prescription. There is lots of stock in the pharmacy and the order is well on its way to start flying its way over to you.
Ruth, I took a look at your order and all the communication regarding the prescription. You're right to be frustrated with the process. It is an unusual circumstance that we do not deal with very often where we are working with a Canadian prescriber for an order going to the Netherlands for this product. As such, there was a little confusion regarding how best to process the order. I'm glad you spoke up and have taken the time to give us critical feedback about this process. I've taken your case and circulated it to all the department Directors that play a role in this type of order. We will not just review it, but put in place additional training and improve the accuracy of instructions sent to customer for orders like this to reduce confusion and speed up processing. I offer no excuses, but rather apologize to you for this. I'm happy to see that you are still going to keep the order and you have my personal commitment to make this better for all future customers.
Sincerely, Brock Gunter-Smith, Chief Business Development Officer, CanadaDrugs.com
Will not refill prescription
Ordered a prescription through them a few months ago. I called for a refill and they no longer dispense the drug i need. That's fine. But i should be able to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy without troubling my doctor to have them call in a refill. They refused to do this which is really bad service. I also tried to call them a few days ago and they were busy and i left a message and no one called back. Really poor customer service.

Beware
On Jan. 10, 2006 I order a prescription online from this 'business' they deducted $104.90 from my account and said the order was on it's way. A month later I receive an email stating there was such a large demand for the medicine I would have to wait 2 more weeks. Finally I received notice of shipment and was sent an envelope on April 10, which I signed for and then opened after leaving the post office only to find it stuffed with useless paper and no medicine. I contacted their complaint email repeatedly, at first they said they would check into it, now they don't even bother to answer at all. BEWARE of CanadaDrugs.com (CanadaRX) or any similar name or website. It is a total fraud.
Murphy, Please contact me at brock@canadadrugs.com or call direct to [protected]. Our company has always had a very strict policy of allow product returns, issuing refunds or doing reshipments on any problem orders. We don't ship in envelopes (we only use boxes with either bubble wrap or packing paper) to ship our medications, so this makes me thing the order might have been placed with a competitor as opposed to us, but I absolutely would like to resolve this for you even if the order is 5 years old. I've searched our databases and have not been able to identify an order that looks like what you describe, but with your full name or phone number, or address I could find it instantly. Again, if you email me directly or call me, I will look investigate this with you and make it right.
We pride ourselves on being the only business offering 90 day returns for full credit of returned medications, we offer no-cost reshipments if a shipment goes awry for any reason, we make sure that each and every order is taken care of to the best of our abilities. When mistakes happen or seemingly uncontrolled events makes things not go as planned, we absolutely are committed to corrected it and learning from it.

Customer Service
We are getting ripped off! I discovered CanadaDrugs.com when talking to a friend. This company based in Canada makes me so mad about the cost of drugs in the US! Not only were the drugs cheaper than I get here, even with my insurance!, but they are better customer service and more convenient. When I go to the local pharmacy I wait in line to speak to someone and usually I have to talk to two or three people before I can find someone who can help me. CanadaDrugs.com knew what they were talking about and got my order right the first time. It just doesn't make sense! I thought they must be not a pharmacy, but they are licensed! So I thought it must be counterfeit! But no. It's the same brand name drugs! Unbelievable!
Broke in Seattle,
Bravo! :-) Hilarious complaint. First, I have worked for CanadaDrugs.com since it started in 2001, so let me get that right out there. Secondly, I'm glad the services met your needs. In all seriousness though, you're totally right to be outraged. Even with programs like Medicare Part D for people 65+, and even with the Healthcare Reform Bill closing the donut hole in Medicare Part D, and some lower cost insurance plans coming to market through health care plan coops, having your prescriptions filled by a properly licensed International Mailorder Pharmacy like ourselves will almost always save you money...even if you have insurance. We've done case studies with hundreds of people calling us who have insurance from Blue Cross, Humana, AARP, State Medicare...etc, and in all but a few cases we showed savings generally upwards of 30% even taking into account all ways to submit claims through their insurance plan.
In 10 years, no branch of the US goverment has actually stopped, charged or prosecuted any individual personal for importation of prescription medications, provided you have a legitimate prescription from your doctor that you submit to the pharmacy. Be safe though, CALL any website that you're considering ordering from, ask about their licenses, how long they've been in business, if they're registered with the Better Business Bureau, and what their refund/return policy.
Best of luck Broke in Seattle
Canada has diferent rules and laws governing drugs than the U.S. does. The cost of drugs in the U.S. is higher than other countries for this reason. If you can legally get drugs from Canada then I say go for it, but if it is unlawful for you, I would suggest you stick with buying your drugs in the U.S. to avoid any broken laws. Do your research to protect yourself.
Bad Experience - Beware!
Ordered OTC medicine online from CanadaDrugs - enough for 3 months. CanadaDrugs called me at work the following day to notify me that they could only ship 12 pills rather than the 140 I ordered - unless I could sent them a Doctor's prescription. Now, I know there are some people out there that use OTC medication illegally, and I can respect the drug company for wanting to "cut crime", but don't do it at my expense. My life is pretty full and I don't need CanadaDrugs wasting my time on 12 dam pills. Get your medications elsewhere rather than messing around with these folks! I had order other medicines which they conveniently had already shipped prior to calling me. I will be testing their "unconditional" return policy as soon as those medicines arrive and fully expect to be writing another complaint on that experience!

I also had a bad experience with Canadadrugs.com. Received medication that made me ill. I informed them about the episode, But I was utterly appalled that they were not the least bit interested in investigating the matter. They did not even request a sample back of my unused medication. it comes as no surprise that this company was indicted by the U.S. for selling fake meds. Stay away!
I can recommend a reputable pharmacy /onlinecheappills.com I recieved my pills within one week of ordering them.
Their site is overpriced cause of the facade of being from canada. I always buy without a prescription at Trustrxmeds.com it comes from India from reputable facilities and their medicine works good, but it's a lot cheaper and you don't need a prescription like you do with canadadrugs. Why pay more and require a prescription at canadadrugs site when its coming from a non canadian source anyways.
I recently ordered prescription from Canadadrugs.com and so far I got blood pressure meds ( atenolol) that are absolutely unless. They were shipped from a company called river east ltd this prescription could have been plain asprin for all I know ...it sure didn't control my blood pressure the second prescription (synthroid) never even made it to my mail box ...Really ! Both prescriptions were over $80.00 I guess I'll write this off as a total loss of money, and a rip-off. Never again!
Pissed in Tennessee,
I've worked at CanadaDrugs.com since it started 10 years ago and wanted to respond to your post. First, you're totally right to be upset. You should not have been allowed to order 140 pills if our pharmacy regulations only allow dispensing 12. I think what might have happened, and I'm not trying to excuse the experience you had, was that in some cases OTC products are actually only OTC ... to a point. Let's look at allergy medications. You can go to just about any gas station or grocery store and purchase Sudafed to treat common allergies. HOWEVER, by law, pharmacies must restrict the purchase amount of products like sudafed to very small quantities unless prescribed by a doctor. This is because Sudafed containes psuedoephedrine which is used in the manufacturing of the street drug crystal meth. In cases were someone wants to purchase more than one box, the pharmacy is required by law to obtain a prescription from a doctor explaining why more is required.
As silly as that seems, it is just one example law of many that pertain to "OTC"s that pharmacy must adhere to that surprise many customers who realistically have no way to know about these ever changing rules and regulations.
It is our job as the pharmacy to better inform customers as the time of purchase what those restrictions are, and in online-ordering systems attempt to limit the purchasable amount to amounts that are truly sell-able without prescription..etc.
Now, I don't know what the product is you experienced the problem with specifically, but it likely was something similar to that. For that I apologize. As I'm sure you found out, our company is the only mailorder pharmacy in the world that we are aware of that offers a 100% refund on order (or the portion) returned to us, AND we will pay the shipping back to us (up to certain maximum amounts) within 90 days. We understand that customers/patients change their mind about products, or may be taken off medications by their doctors...or sometimes just don't want to keep what they've ordered...we take it all back without hassle to respect the customer absolutely.
So I apologize for the experience you had. I sincerely hope that the product you were reference has been better handled by our company now and that your order was promptly refunded.
Sincerely,
Brock Gunter-Smith

I don't understand how you ordered an OTC, yet needed a prescription? It sounds like your prescription medication ran out after 12 and you needed to get it refilled. If this were an OTC than you would not require any prescription.
Besides, I understand that they can call your doctor and ask for a new prescription for you.
