A low risk business investment
These people are rude and sneaky. Keith [protected]) cold called our company and had the nerve to tell me it was not a sales call. When I tried to get information from him he was very vague, I told him we're not interested thanks and hung up...he called me back and started yelling at me and said he was going to "let my boss know how I treated people". Next day, someone else from this company is calling for my boss who isn't even interested, and he won't leave a message just keeps calling back for my boss who will never be available because he doesn't want to listen to his sales pitch. What is wrong with people? I feel sorry for all the receptionists out there that have to deal with people like this.
Cold Calling for Merchant Account
This company cold called me at my house using my private phone number, which I do NOT post on the internet leaving me a message about my, uh, merchant account (what account?) and that I was low risk. I don't answer my phone and I Google everyone. Looked them up and then found this site. Great, won't be doing business with them. Wouldn't have anyway because I don't make deals with people that I didn't contact. I'm checking to see if this is the company that processes my cc payments with a company I do business with. In other words did this company plunge my records to try and get themselves some more business.

COLD Calling/Super Pushy Salespeople/Can't take
I just received a call from these people, wanting to sell me their services
At 1st I listened to their pitch but after 10 minutes I came to the realization that I did not want to do business with a company that cannot take NO for an answer. They wanted to send their guy/gal ASAP
To review my current credit card terms. I asked them what their rates were at they did not want to tell me over the phone only in person. I'm a small Business owner (I operate a Family Owned Funeral Home) in the Chicago area. My suggestion to all those reading this is Buyer Beware. Any one with such aggressive Business practices may be a bad Business partner to add to your Business mix. I think they want to sign you up as soon as possible because if they don't they know you will find complaints such as this one online.
cold calls, pushy salesmen
I want to thank everyone who posted. Just today, I got a cold call from CPN, also telling me that I am low risk and they can give me better rates then I already have. They pushed to have a salesman come visit me tomorrow. I stated that I would need to see more information from them and wanted to compare the rates that I have, before I agree to meet with them. I was told that they cannot quote any rates without a salesman visit but that they were better then my current rates. I tried to decline, but he kept insisting that someone would be here at 3:00 tomorrow. I also told them that I never agree to anything without time to think over it. That didn't sit well with them. They want that instant sale. He never got to contracts, or terminals, or anything of that matter, but I may have shut him down by refusing the appointment. I am a bit concerned with that. If they show up here tomorrow, something is going to hit the fan!

I found this post because my desk staff kept getting multiple calls daily in an effort to reach me (I am the owner). They are required to ask what the call is regarding and specifically if it's a sales call. They were told it was not a sales call, but a "low risk review". I always Google a company before I return a call, and can say that this post is very similar with the experience we've had...I'm hoping they don't resort to screaming at my staff!
I also noticed that they had extremely poor reviews and testimonials online and on Facebook. It's amazing to me that they are being trained to be so aggressive when obviously it's having a reverse affect.
