Captain ds on dickerson rd nashville tn betwen the hours of 730-930pm is the worst crew in the food industry by far! I waited 30+ min for order while waiting 4 other people came back with faulty orders... Then got home and the corn was half cooked and the sweet tea wasn't sweet at all... When I went back to set things straight they had closed 30 min early!
I love captain ds but won't be back to that one no leadership at all!

I have been a long standing customer. I even worked as a supervisor in 1987 and would never in a million years send old, dried food out. My last visit was poor about a year ago. I decided to give them another go yesterday and am so sorry I did. I received rubber fish, dried fries and the oldest mummified piece of corn I have ever seen. The last time I gave feedback at the store, it was met with attitude and the same person is still working there. Why bother.. I expect a call back and a full refund which I threw away. I will never again go there, which is sad because when served hot/fresh it is one of my favorites.
hair being found in my food
I went into a local captain ds store in marietta ga I believe it's 2811 canton road 30066, round 11:05... I went in not feeling well but was hungry staff was super and food came out really fast everything was great except the fries they tasted as if they had been sitting out for about 10 -15 minutes but I wasn't going to complain I just decided not to eat them.. So as I begin to eat my food everything was great. Employee even came by the table to check to make sure everything is fine and I stated "yes thank you!" as I got ready to go I asked for a to go plate and as I was beginning to put the rest of my food that I had left on the to go plate I found a piece of hair on my plate and that made me not want it anymore.. I basically had some popcorn shrimp a small piece of fish and a little bit of coleslaw left... I told the employee and they brought out me some fresh popcorn shrimp because that's all I pretty much had left on my plate... As I stated earlier service was great but there needs to be a double check when placing food on plate cause I really lost my appetite due to the hair being on my plate and I was already a lil nausea due to my sickness..
terrible service from women
Went thru the drive thru at captain D's and the lady taking our order was so rude even before we started to order. Completely unbelievable that someone can act the way she did. When we finished ordering and got to the window we had coupons to give her for our food and she says "give me your coupon for the first one" we will not be gong back there with a lady that work there with an attitude like that.
overcooked food
I was in Clarksville, TN a few weeks ago and had a bad experience with the fish at store #3760. I contacted the area director and left a message. Actually, I called twice with no answer and Jim Hobbs never returned my call.
We ordered a family fish meal and additional sides. The fish was overcooked, super hard/crunchy and dark in color. We have eaten Captain D's food for decades and I have never had it like that. I told an employee an she took the fish back to replace it. We waited and waited as our sides of mac n cheese, clam strips, fries, green beans and fried okra got cold. She brought back the fish and I truly believe it was the same fish, same issue. We picked over our food and finally left very disappointed after spending $26.72. I feel that I should be compensated.

I went into your location that is in Charlotte North Carolina on North Sharon Amity Road and I went in and ordered my food I sat down and waited for my food to be brought to me once my food was brought to me only half of it was brought to me at one time once the other half got there I grabbed the ketchup bottle shook it on the table and open the top when I open the top more than a hundred ants came out of the top of that catch up until my food some fell into my shirt into my lap summer crawling on my hand and they were all over the table my husband then went and got someone that work there told them about the problem they then took the catch up and said they would remake our food and we can move to another table so me and my husband moved to another table I then proceeded to check that ketchup bottle as I open that ketchup bottle ants were in there as well so I walked back up to the counter ask to speak to the manager considering the manager never came out I asked to speak to the manager and told her what was going on she never once apologized she never once said sorry all she did was give us our money back and tell us to go somewhere else I eat at Captain D's all the time I have never been to this location but I found this location with closer to my home but I would no longer or ever suggest for anyone to go to that location it was very nasty

My co workers and I went to Captain D's on Pio Nono Ave. in Macon Ga for lunch today 6/14/2018 it was 4 of us in all. One of the ladies ordered and was over charged and then she tried to explain that she wanted the dinner on the display for 4.99. The employee that was at the drive thru decided to come over nd stand in front with this awful look on her face and rolling her eyes. The manager was no help at all. My co worker decided to ask for her money back at we left. I really think the whole crew needs training in dealing with customers. Have a Blessed Day

Omg, I ate there for the first in my 22 years of life and had never heard of the place. I got a chicken strip mean with fries and okra, and let me tell you, I fell in love! Pretty please come to texarkana! The only thing we have here is popeyes and long johns, and they both suck... Customer service, and food! So, this is my complaint, I have to deal with those people when all I want is captain d's!

On Saturday, May 26, 2018 I went thru the drive-thru window for service. I placed an order for my son to carry home so he would get a chance to eat before he went to work. I ordered a 2 piece fish meal with double fries as his sides. After I drove away to the pick up window I realized I wanted a 3 piece meal and not a 2 piece meal. I had placed the wrong order. I mention to Jasmine my mistake and asked her to cancel that order and to change it to the 3 piece meal. She said she could add 1 piece of fish for $2.29. I told her I didn't want to do that because I did not want to pay $2.29 for a extra fish it is cheaper to get the 3 piece meal. So I again asked her to void that ticket and ring up a 3 piece instead. She rang the ticket. When I got the ticket in my hand I saw she still added that 1 piece of fish for $2.29. I told her I didn't want that to give me the order that I ordered 3 piece fish meal. she asked me do I want her to give me another 3 piece meal. I am not a dog. and don't want to be treated like one. I don't need food thrown at me for free. I live on a very tight budget. I wanted the difference in the price of a 3 piece meal and 1 fish added to a 2 piece meal for $2.29 given back to me. Her 'I don't care' attitude and demeanor let me know she had no interest in settling the problem. I still want my change given back to me. I only took the order because it was for my son. Don't let Jasmine or people like Jasmine bad customer service ruin your business and Captain D's name. This happen at Captain D's 3281 Tupelo, MS- Area Director Scott Allred when you call [protected] you only get an answering service not a real person. I guess to filter who he want to talk to or call back. I called twice.

I order some food from the Captain D's on Floyd Road. They didn't provide all of the food that I'd paid for. They were nasty with the uber driver and the employee used vulgar language( cursing) against my mother. This is not the first time that this same employee has used vulgar language against customers. This is very unprofessional and I think some disciplinary actions should be taken place because this captain D's is causing a bad reputation for this franchise.

While I was an active employee Captain D's until last night May 22nd 2018. I have received numerous different issues through my month of being in employee with Captain D's do too many different problem coming from management issues. Things that are on resolved and unsolved and instead continually build up. I have been personally attack by Victoria the assistant manager and that has been going on since my start up employment with Captain D. I also have experienced other issues with other employees and management of Captain D's. All together is things the biggest issue is that none of the staff or management are all on one Accord with how things should be ran the policies and things that are respected of employees or themselves. Last night a manager off duty came into the store due to issues the manager on duty was having with running the shift properly. While Victoria was there she addressed myself and I informed her several times I had no problem with finishing out my duties and performing. However she wanted to rudely ridicule me and talk to me in a very unprofessional manner and wouldnt allow to to just return to my job. Instead of allowing me to return to work as I was before she'd come into the store I would like for someone to please contact me so I can further address matters at the earliest convenience thank you. the broken up pieces of fish and the wrong order
The menu board showed 3 pieces of fish and when my family and i got homw to eat we opened our boxes to a rude surprise because the 3 pieces waa small cut half size of the advertising fish and the other box was not the correct order at all. The manager kept going in the back to get the fiah when i asked him for my refund he continued to explain keeping me even longee in the store when i clearly told him i dont have timw fir his long ezplaination and that i had to go to bed for work and then he went to the back again because he left his register key in the back. So after he continued to tell me that my husband didnt specify what he wanted as his sides the cashier gave him what she wanted and he clearly wanted the menu it posted as it was but did not get it . The staff ( cooks and cashier) laugh and looked at me as the cook was eating fries in front of the customers . This took place at the little creek location in norfok va between 7pm and 9:30 pm on 05/22/2018 Tuesday night.
not honoring promotional coupon online
Went to Captain D's to order the family feast which was advertised at 19.99 tell them placing order that's the promotional offer was it 19.99 online clearly it said no coupon needed and when we got to the window to pay the girl at the window said we need a printed coupon and when I showed them what the offer said they said that they where a franchise and could not honor the special very disappointed that I was not able to get what want supposed are dinner because them not want to except what was clearly advertise I am diabetic and blood was dropping
food being over cooked
I ordered a family meal and when I got my order I noticed it looked darker than usual. I took a bite and the fish was hard and dry. Like it was old or over cooked. I told the guy and he said he was sorry that he could replace it but no I was already about to throw up. I just threw it away and walked out. I used to love captain d's. Now I don't think I'll ever be back. At least not to this one
customer service - bad attitude
My husband and I went to the store on Murfreesboro Road in Smyrna, Tennessee around 2:45 to get lunch. When we arrived we there were zero customers in the restaurant and one car at the drive-through. We were not welcomde to the store at all and stood waiting for someone to just simply take our order. Those who were working in the restaurant ignored us for approximately 15 minutes. Then the person behind the counter rudely asked, "are you ready to order yet?" I said yes, gave our order and received our cups. We went over to the ice machine and there was no ice in the ice machine. The lady behind the counter had come out into the dining area to wipe off a table and began to complain that they only had three people (workers) there today and then went back toward the counter and never attempted to say, "I will fill the ice machine" or at least take our cups to the drive thru area and get ice there. All the time we were waiting (at least 15 minutes) for a 2-piece fish dinner and crispy chicken salad with no one else in the restaurant to serve. This seems to be very poor service. We were very disappointed at this visit and as we watched Shoney's (which is next door to this location) decline in service, we certainly hope that your customer service can improve so that the same thing does not happen to your restaurant. Horrible experience at this restaurant - totally ignored and made felt to be in the way. Temperature inside was so cold we had to wear jackets and froze during our meal.

birthday coupon
I went to redeem my birthday coupon and was told it needed to be printed out to use it. Nowhere in the email does it state it has to be printed out to redeem. The only thing stated is you need a valid ID. I don't appreciate driving out of my way to redeem a coupon I received to honor my birthday to be told I have to have a printed coupon! Especially when it doesn't state it anywhere on the email! This day and time all you have to do is show a coupon on your phone. I have even been asked in the past to delete it by an employee, which I completely understand. Get with it Captain D's! At least state it on your coupon so others don't waste time and gas with your corporation!
bad management
Tyra Stephens at store 503, 123 Eastway Dr is very unprofessional. She does stuff behind Henry faust back then acts like a yes man when he comes around. She uses money out of the store safe to purchase weed and drinks alcohol with employees while on the job. Tyra once left the entire store open after closing time due to being drunk and went home without double checking the locks. I've witnessed her dry hump multiple cooks and afterwards saying it was a "joke". She also leaves the property of store 503 to make personal runs and to go her house. Worst manager I've had while working with captain D's and any other place I've worked. Something needs to be done because she thinks she can do whatever she wants and talk to employees any kind of way and get away with it. And not to mention but I've witnessed her with my own eyes send food out the window that have dropped on the kitchen floor. Tyra Stephens acts like she is not running a business and lets her family come behind the kitchen door into the prep area.
on October 6th almost 6 days ago between 2:11pm and 2:30 pm I entered this location Sunset rd Charlotte nc and placed a large order for my employees. The managers were sitting at a table and looked to be doing open interviews. However the one manager female MRS Scott was absolutely rude and disgusting in the remarks and way she was treating her employees, one of whom was on his first day. The whole restaurant could here the insulting remarks and the ghetto language, and I was about 20 feet away. she at one point proceeded to the back of the store and once again could hear her ripping into an employee. She came back out and went and sat at her table. Talking junk out loud so my food was finally ready I asked one of the young girls at the counter "does she always treat and talk to you all like that?" they shook their heads as if to agree. So I proceeded to leave and took a moment to let Mrs Scott know that her behavior attitude and all around disgusting treatment of her employees was un expectable. As a person who runs a company 7 days a week, I couldn't bear to see this mis-treatment and lack of respect not only for her employees but for her guests as well. I left little did I know she had followed me threatening me. so I stopped and stuck to my guns, that she was a disgusting manager . another manager jumped between her and I to keep her from assaulting me. the whole time he saying thing like [censored] ill [censored] you up (sorry for the language) ill drag your face on the parking lot. (all this has to be on camera) I told her keep talking because you are only showing me that I was right and your behavior is unacceptable. I contacted [protected] and left 4 messages. finally I get a woman on the phone who on a recorded line told me her supervisor was aware of the situation and told me do what I have to implying that the issue was of no concern for them. I said no! give me your supervisors name she refused I said what is your name she said Denise.( Probably a lie!) and refused to help me. At which point she hung up on me. I have tried for 6 days to get some contact information or a call back to insure resolution was made. Yet nothing I will take the social media outlet and local action nine and hire a lawyer if I have to! all I wanted was for someone to see the intensity of this attempted assault and talk to me about how they were going to take action against this incident. I will not rest until this issue is resolved and she is no longer at this job.

4/30/18 at 8:45pm order number 276 Store #205950. I came to Captain D's to order a 2pc catfish dinner with fries and mac with breadsticks and Chicken Dinner. The chicken dinner was right but instead of them giving me what I asked for they gave me 2 pc fish dinner. The order taker repeated my order right how I wanted it, so I do not know why I was not given catfish.Then after fixing the catfish dinner they still got it wrong a second time and put puff instead of bread when I repeatedly asked for bread.
I received horrible customer service. The cashier did not apologize for the mistake and she charged me the difference in the order even though it was there fault the order was messed up. I do not want anything from you all, I just want you to be aware of the customer service I received at your establishment, I am sure I will not be going their anymore. That staff needs a refresher on customer service skills.

Went to drive thru on 4/27/18. After waiting over 20 minutes for my order, which was 2-2pc fish & 2pc chicken dinners with double fries no slaw for myself & my fiance. Got home, relaxed, began to eat and both dinners had fries that were overcooked, the chicken was overcooked and hard, the fish was overcooked and had a metallic taste. I have never had such a bad experience at this Captain D's, but will definately NOT ever be going there again.

This lady does not deserve to be a manager at Captain D's. The Captain D's is in charlotte on eastway drive. Today makes the 5th time I've been there and she smelled like alcohol and marijuana. She talks to her employees like they are beneath her she is very rude and i recommend that something needs to be done about her. Today while i was there one of the employees parent came in to confront her about her rudeness to her pregnant daughter and i agreed with the parent because I've witnessed too many rude things from her.. I also have pictures of her consuming alcohol on the premises and also buying marijuana on the premises. Something needs to be done about her as soon as possible.
