CFR gave a free estimate for the roof replacement job. They did a good inspection and explained the work that needed to be done. CFR was on time and worked hard. The job was done by certified workers. The yard was clean when the CFR crew left. A really nice new roof! The experience was great, 5 stars. I highly recommend CFR.

David assed the dammage and offered a solushun. He explained the sorce of the problem, and explained how the problem could be resolved. He explained each step, and why it was necessary. The crew arrived on time, and worked carefully until the job was completed. The crew cleaned up the area, and disposed of the old shingles, wood, etc. David followed up with an inspection, with me. CFR offers a professional job at a reasonable price.

I worked with Carolina Flooring & Roofing for me and some other folks who needed roof checks, roof fixes, and putting caps on vents to keep birds out. Dave helped me learn about roofing installation, how inspectors don't look too deep into new roofs, and how roofs gotta be put in according to the shingle maker's rules. I also found out that a new roof don't always mean a warranty. The installer gotta be approved by the maker and the warranty papers gotta be sent in. Same goes for transferring warranties - gotta do the paperwork within 30 days of closing. What I like is that their roof check includes the crew going up and trying to lift shingles to see if they're loose (drones can't do that). Dave's always there and helpful. I like 'em.

I recently found myself putting my old house up for sale and getting in contract with a buyer. They came back with some repairs they wanted done, including a couple of shingles on the roof. They wanted it fixed as part of the contingency to buy the house. CFR was one of the roofing companies I called to get an estimate and see how quickly they could come out. I needed to fix the roof before the closing date on February 14th to avoid any delays. I left a message and about 20 minutes later, David called me back. He said he was heading home to Jacksonville, in the Southwest area where my old house is located, and he would be happy to stop by and take a look. It was already dark and around 7:30 PM, so I was surprised by his offer. I told him I needed to check with my family and make sure we didn't have any other plans, and then I would call him back to confirm. I didn't want to take away from his family time. He said it was no problem and to take my time. He wanted to make sure everything was good with my family before stopping by. About 10 minutes later, David called me back and said he was about 5 minutes away. I had given him my address during our initial conversation. He arrived in less than 5 minutes, with his ladder and headlamp, ready to go. We showed him the pictures the inspector had taken with his drone, and he went up on the roof to take a look. While he was up there, he noticed another missing roof tile that the inspector hadn't caught. He talked to us the whole time, explaining what he was doing. We were down in the driveway. After about five minutes on the roof, he asked if we had any spare tiles. We didn't have any at the old house, but we had some at our new house, about three miles away. He said if we could get him some tiles, he would make the repair right away, without us having to make another appointment. He estimated it would take him about half an hour. My wife went to get the tiles, and David fixed the area that needed repair. We even had a couple of extra tiles, so he replaced the missing one that the inspector had missed. It was around 9 PM by the time everything was done. He charged us less than half of what I expected. We were extremely grateful and thanked him for returning our call promptly and for coming out to fix the roof right away. He said it was the least he could do because our message sounded like we were in a tight spot, trying to complete the repairs for the sale to go smoothly. He was glad he could help us out and was surprised to find out he was the owner of the company. He took time out of his family time to make sure we were taken care of. He went above and beyond what my wife and I expected. In my opinion, David and his company, Carolina Flooring Roofing, deserve a 5-star rating for their customer service and everything else. David has restored my faith that even strangers will go the extra mile to help you out when you're in a pinch.
