September 17th @ 10:37 am is when the incident occurred. Earlier on that day I went to my local Walgreens to put money on my cash app so that I cent pay my rent. 474$ is the balance I added to my account. I do so. A little bit later someone had asked me if they can use my phone to make a phone call so I let him use it. The individual who used my cell phone had went on to certain apps without my knowledge. My cash app was one of them, without my permission he sent my 474$ that I needed for my rent to himself. I have been in touch with the customer support team of cash app trying to get this resolved and they escalated my case to a different department. It would take 10 days for the case to be resolved with a resolution. I reminded them I did not give the individual any information regarding my cash app account or any card information and I was giving a case number which is [protected]. The outcome of the investigated case was them saying they believed I gave out my personal information resulting in the unauthorized transaction happening.
Desired outcome: I really would like my refund back, immediately if possible before im evicted and kicked out on the street with 2 kids. like I said it was for my rent not for someone to steal.
