Hi Sam L. This is Deborah Merchant Complaint [protected]. When I emailed you today you told me to reopen my case because apparently, I made a mistake when I messaged you on February 3, 2022.
On September 11, 2021, I had sent a payment of $1510.00 using Cashapp to the wrong recipient. It was a Saturday, so, I had to wait until Monday to call them. When I called Monday, I have spoken to two customer service representatives. The first person hung up on me because I asked to speak his supervisor. The second person was of no help. I have called and chatted with them for over a month. Even though they have the recipient's information they vehemently refuse to contact her. In September when I realized I sent my money to the wrong person, I asked her at that time to refund my money she refused. She's fully aware the money was not intended for her.
Two weeks ago I appealled the decision and have heard nothing back. Cash app is handy. Like it when it works but there is no one that can help over the phone in the evenings or on the weekend
They have some of my money that I can't get out.
