This place was amazing
This place was amazing. Love the treehouses. The staff was friendly. We did have problems finding the cabin the directions she sent took us to the wrong place but we called non-emergency number in the area and they took us straight to it due to it being after hours, that literally the only thing not absolutely amazing is the person handling reservations, I believe that's why there's negative reviews. The cabin's cleanliness and amenities are top notch.

This was our first time staying with Cedar Creek Cabins., we stayed in Bear Creek. We have been coming to Cedar Creek every summer for 10 plus years, this was by far the best cabin we have ever rented. The cabin was beautiful and they thought of everything.. there was TVs in every room.. grill, hot tub, fire pit, you name it. The cabin was easy to get to and very clean. Could definitely work for 2 small families and the teenagers loved the game room area. We will definitely be renting with Cedar Creek cabins next year! Thanks for a great, clean cabin that was well stocked.
Great experience staying with cedar creek. The location is beautiful and easy to find. Checking in and out was a *** was peaceful and exciting to experience and cedar creek made it all easy and possible.

The company has illegally and fraudulently charged my card on 05/08 and again on 09/10. Lucky, we caught the fraudulent attempted charge immediately on 09/10 because it took three months to correct the fraudulent charge on 05/08. The card was not in use in May and has not been used in September, therefore, fraudulent use has been reported to the card company and others. I am a veteran with integrity and values who has worked for everything I own. I do not wish for this company to steal, appropriate or purloin from me again. I filed with ComplaintsBoard.com, Veterans Affairs and the State Attorney Office in June because of illegal use of credit card. I will file a follow up on the continued unauthorized fraudulent, corrupt, dishonest, stealing of funds from my credit card.

This was our first time staying at Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals, and my husband and I have agreed that we'll be back! It was a perfect, relaxing weekend away from our noisy neighbors! :) Pure tranquility!The cabin we stayed in is located in a beautiful, quiet area surrounded by trees, with lots of wildlife; it was a short drive to nearby attractions, such as the charming town of Blue Ridge, and the stunning Amicalola Falls, and within a short distance of hiking trails; just all around beautiful. The directions provided made it easy to finding our cabin, and the check-in and out process was seamless. Our only complaints, which may seem silly, was the lack of silverware, no dish cloths, and the floor to the cabin was not cleaned prior to our visit. When I swept the floors there was a lot of dog hair, and dirt. We love dogs, have one ourselves, but she wasn't with us on this trip! A note to self for our next trip: bring extra utensils, and sweep the floors on arrival! Outside of that, we look forward to our next visit!

The cabin was absolutely wonderful but Wendy and the way this place is ran and cleaned is absolutely pathetic but I would stay again just have to spend a day of cleaning
Fraudulent business criminals
Fraudulent business criminals. They took money out of my bank account without me authorizing it. It was all over $1,000. I had tried to reserve a cabin with Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals two months ago and put a deposit down but had issues with them getting back to me and communication, so I canceled my stay and was told I would get back the deposit money I put down to reserve the cabin. I've been dealing with Wendy *** and she's done nothing but lie to me. Tom / John *** the owner also just ignores any emails, phone calls, or letters that were sent to him. Do not deal with Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals, they are fraudulent. They have put myself and my family through much stress financially and emotionally. I have an open court case / civil case in White County Georgia where the business is located. Beware that the owner does not reside in White County Georgia, he resides in Decal County Georgia. So if you come in through any issues with this company, the process will take longer to take them to court. Once again, do not deal with Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals, it is not worth it. They will lie to you and steal your money from you.

I arrived at Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals on June 23. It was very difficult to communicate with this business because they don't answer their phone line (ever) and reply with a generic text. There is no professional outgoing message either, so you aren't sure if you've called an actual business. Directions were not sent until 9 pm the night before arrival, for those who like to plan their route and give address to family in case of emergency have a tough time with this. In fact no address is ever provided until arrival, only directions (that seems strange.). Emails come from a man named Tom Johnson, yet your only contact is Wendy, who seems rushed and frantic, but attempts to be polite.
On arrival, I found no coffee maker (as promised), and for a 1 week stay, 1.5 rolls of toilet paper. I was told I needed to provide this (after complaining), yet this is a "luxury" cabin for which I paid nearly $2000 for the week. The kitchen had 2 spoons, 3 cups, 2 bowls and a handful of plates, most of which had dried caked on food. It sleeps 4. You do the math on that one. There is no cutting board, NOTHING to bake in or on, no scissors and a few pots and pans. The sink and mirrors are not clean. But WAIT, it gets better. There is also no phone/cell service and no land line. We discovered at 10 pm upon getting in bed that the sheets were full of hair, crumbs and bed bugs. I literally had someone else's pubic hair on my pillows. They were also stained with unknown bodily fluids. There were used band aids on the floor next to the bed, and large hair balls on the shower drain. The towels had dark stains and smelled like smoke. There were no rugs or mats for the tile bathroom floors (at all) so you had to step out onto slippery floors with nothing to wipe your feet on. The upstairs bathroom had no shower curtain liner, so the fabric curtain was soaking wet and dripping all over the floor after 1 shower.
I find it incredulous that no one has ever sued this company for the unsanitary conditions in which the beds are kept. Sleeping in dirty sheets is unacceptable. There were no extra linens at all (no sheets) and only 1 blanket for the entire house.
I am 50 years old and well traveled. I like to camp and don't mind roughing it, but this situation was unbearable. Clean (yet stained) sheets were provided the next day after emailing the business, so I think they "think" they solved the problem. The solution is to get a new housekeeping contract and provide more supplies and linens for your cabins.

We are still waiting our full refund from our reservation that we were told we couldnt stay. 15 min before we were set to arrive we were called and told the basement was flooding and we could not stay. Wendy told me that a full refund is in process. We have not seen a penny and extremely hard to get in contact with. We are owed back $1018.54. We also have no proof of the $50 insurance company they claim to have even exist and would like information so we can call them directly.

Throughout this time, Wendy has continuously provided excuses for the delay but assured me that I would eventually receive my refund. After a month, she began mentioning that the refund would be processed through an insurance claim. I informed her that I had not received any communication from an insurance company and that I did not opt for insurance coverage.
Considering that I cancelled within the designated cancellation policy timeframe, I believe Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals should honor their commitment and refund my deposit. Despite my repeated inquiries, Wendy continues to claim that she is working with the insurance company and that I will receive my refund.
Since it has been almost 3 months and I have not received my original payment, I have decided to open a dispute with my credit card company. Additionally, I am considering reporting Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals to the ComplaintsBoard.com, as this morning I received an email from them stating that they will be processing a second payment for my cancelled reservation, which is not related to COVID-19.
I have been extremely patient throughout this process, but I feel that Wendy has been stringing me along without providing a satisfactory resolution to this simple matter. Despite the contact information provided on their emails and website, I have been unable to reach Tom *** to address this issue.

I arrived on Dec 24th at The Summit Cabin which I had rented for 3 nights. The cabin was filthy and did not provide the amenities as described. BUGS Summit Rental - Dec 24th - 3 nights FIVE STARS. Payment method - credit card. Complaint: cabin was found unlocked at all doors, garbage from previous renter overflowing and nowhere to put our garbage, dirty sheets on 2 beds, filthy kitchen with dirty dishes, greasy counters, bugs, a stove that the oven temperature did not work, pool table broke down with broken ball/cues and no chalk, broken cable box so TV in Master Bedroom could not be used. When I called to complain, the assistant manager came out at midnight only to tell us she could not do anything about the pool table balls/cue/chalk, brought us 1 set of new sheets that I had to wash and then remake the bed, she couldn't do anything about the broken cable box, and would bring new items to us the next day. We never saw or heard from her again. When we complained about garbage and bugs - we were told by text they would have someone come after we checked out? What about us? I requested a partial refund to reimburse me for all the things the management company could not fix or offer and was told they could not. We lived in filth with bugs for 3 nights and 4 days - huge black roaches - so sickening. It is really sad that you have what could be a wonderful cabin experience, but you do not have the correct management company keeping your cabin clean and items working as expected. The cleaning log said the last cleaning took place on Nov 25 - it was now Dec 24th - clearly people had been staying there - it was filthy and the amount of garbage proved it. I was so disappointed. I never expected that I would have to come in, wash all the dishes, including the silverware holder that had old jelly dried over it, wash the sheets on 2 beds because the sheets were dirty, not be able to watch TV because there was no cable box, couldn't cook turkey because the oven temperature did not work - never got hot enough, constantly kill bugs crawling all over the kitchen, bathrooms, and living areas - so disgusting. I brought my grandkids here for a wonderful experience that turned so bad. I was not provided the items promised in your cabin - The Summit - rental - therefore I should receive a partial refund of at least 50%. Not to mention - having to live with bugs should really require a full refund.

The cabin was beautiful. The only problem we had was how warm the weather was in *** this week lol. The cabin we stayed in had no fans upstairs making it warm even at night. But the cabin was beautiful and clean. And the company is amazing. I had a problem when we got to the mountain and they took care of it fast and were so nice about it!
