Constant Errors
I have been very dissatisfied with the Central Banking App over the past several months. More times than not when I try to log in I receive a system error. This is extremely inconvenient because with a busy schedule I need the app to function so I can manage my finances during the times I am available. I have never had this problem with other apps or banks.
Phone app
This app is not suitable for a tablet or iPad because of the font issues other have mentioned but is not an issue on the phone and is obviously designed specifically for it. The remote deposit feature works very well and securely. Easy to maneuver around and access statements, tax documents, all account activity etc. My only suggestion is to update the app for fingerprint ID.
Not happy
The title of the new card letter: welcome to HSA Central new Technology, increased flexibility, innovative changes.
What they MEAN:
New technology to track and watch you, Increased irritation, and innovative CHARGES.
Now you are being charged for paper statements. And if you avoid the $36 a year on the fee by going paperless and WE screw up, well, we are going to charge you $30 an hour for research and balancing.
Team work
I’m so very happy I switched to Central bank. Not only is the app so convenient and easy to use, the team at Central Bank could not be better. Between being greeted with a superb staff ,the ambience of the bank makes you feel at home and so comfortable to complete any banking you need to do. I’m looking forward to more locations in the future. Thank for exceptional, and personable service in banking you really can’t find that anymore.
New “update” won’t let me log in
I tried to log into the app using Face ID and I was unable to until I restarted the app. I deleted it and then re-downloaded and I have now been trying to sign in for about 30 minutes. I’ve had my username sent to my email, I picked a new secret word, and I reset my password. I now sign in with all of the correct credentials (because I just reset all of them) and type in the temp verification code for probably the 5th or 6th time in 30 minutes and I’m told again that I didn’t put in the correct username/secret word/password. I even tried signing in online instead of through the app and the same thing happens. I never had an issue signing in before so I’m not sure what was updated but this is extremely frustrating.
Algorithm is the worst part
While this app is simple and easy to use, i hate the algorithm with a burning passion. After a certain point of “suspicious purchases,” it locks you out of your checking account. While I can understand this is a security measure to prevent fraud and the like, there have been way too many instances where I have been out to purchase something (I don’t carry cash on me) and I have been unable to use my account when the money is in my checking CLEAR AS DAY. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED OR OPTIONAL. Each “purchase” that has been deemed suspicious has been made by myself alone and I’m tired of having it read back to me through customer service. It also happens when it’s CONVENIENTLY a holiday or a weekend, so calling customer service is useless until the start of the weekday.

Can't open app
Every time I open the app, it crashes and sends me back to the home screen. I have re-installed it twice and it keeps happening ever since I updated it to the Touch ID version
Doesn't work
This was a great app until the most recent update. Now every time I try to open the app it shows the logo for a split second before it force closes on me. Need to fix the bugs. I have an iphone6 if that helps.
Glitchy
The app worked great until the latest update. Now, half the time I can’t get the app to even open, or if it does open my login times out. Whatever changes were made, roll them back because this was a great app until a few days ago.
App down for over a week now
This app which I use frequently has been unable to allow me to use it for over a week. I cannot get on it to pay a bill or make a deposit NOTHING! I am extremely frustrated! All my bill payments are made online and I am paperless billing so if I can’t use the app what can I do?
Written on the cheap
Apps like this are the result of putting the wrong people in charge of a development project. It's clearly written as cheaply as possible and only updated when Apple forces the issue.
When your app is basically a mobile version of your site, you should probably spend an hour looking at what your competitors are doing.
Not impressed
1. Contrast green can be hard to read.
2. I can’t find a way to show pending items.
3. I can’t find a way to show statements
4. I can’t find a way to show balances , just shows “projected balance”. Inaccurate.
5. Would prefer not to need to login to the business online services. We have 4 personal accounts and 1 business account.
Central Bank Mobile App
I have accounts in 3 major banks, 2 accounts in each, One small checking account here. This is the most confusing app of all I use. I can’t make scheduled external transfers, Nor can I make scheduled bill pay. To deposit a check you have to stand on your head on a chair to get the front and back photos.Very poor app. This account was a big mistake…

Disaster
This bank is a complete and total disaster. They seem to be unable to correct errors. Support is nonexistent. Save yourself grief and find a different place to put your money.

Mobile deposit app not working
Mobile Deposit App is showing double squares to take picture for mobile deposit and does not allow a way to take picture! Nit working! Can’t reach anyone after hrs to report this!

Absolutely useless app
How can a banking app be this useless? Have been trying to open the app but it’s stuck on the loading screen and ultimately crashes. What’s even worse, the webpage doesn’t open. Are these guys serious?

Worthless
The whole purpose for getting this app was to set up and use Quick Look. But that function doesn’t work. After turning it on it failed to load. All I got was a LOADING. After looking at that word for an hour I gave up and deleted the app.

Online purchases can take days to show up
Online purchases (like eBay’s through PayPal) can take days to show up. You can buy something online on a Friday night and it doesn’t show up on your balance until Monday. Or in todays case, I bought something last night and it’s 2pm and it still hasn’t shown up on my balance.

Crap App
Mobile deposit NEVER works. Living 35 miles away the mobile version was main reason I chose to stay at bank. Except it never works. Always giving internal error message and not taking deposits. Calling is waste of time-they only tell you drive to bank and make a deposit which defeats purpose.
