Loses packages
Website says shipping takes 3-5 days. It's been 9 and I contacted Canada Post and was told that they never got contacted after the shipping label was created they can't deliver what they don't have. So I contact Charmed Aroma and they say they sent it 8 days ago but they use a third party courier to get it to Canada Post and they don't know why it hasn't been brought to them yet. I asked them if this was a scam and I didn't get a direct answer. First time ordering and bought three candles (not the cheapest order) and now it's lost and they have no clue.
Should you not resend if your third party lost/stole my package? 🤔 I didn't lose it and I am out money and with no product to show for the amount I paid...
Kind of leaning towards scam... Use caution if buying.
Disappointed with Christmas Candle Order Service
They were advertising Christmas edition candles for sale; I ordered 6 for $137 on Nov.24, expecting delivery by Dec 7th. The site gave no indication of delays. It's now Dec 12th, and my order hasn't shipped. Responses are slow, and they keep promising delivery 'tomorrow' without evidence of shipment. They also refuse to issue refunds. These were meant as teacher's gifts by the 18th. Delays are one thing, but not shipping for weeks is unacceptable. Customers should receive their items by Christmas or get a refund.
I ordered a candle for a friend. She turned out not to be a friend. I put her address on as the delivery address which was a mistake of my own, I know. Anyway, they said when the item was shipped they would send me an email which I had not yet received. Great! I could change the delivery address to my own which was the billing address. So I contacted customer service (via email since there was no telephone number) the same day and requested the delivery address be changed to the billing address, Mary Ann was her name and she said she was processing the change "now". I go online to my account and the billing address had been changed! I didn't change it. How did that happen? Does she have access to my credit card now? I try to contact them again and I keep getting a computerized email saying they couldn't be reached via email due to covid. It was extremely frustrating! In the end the shipping address was never changed. I had a simple request that should have been been able to be accomplished easily. Not impressed with this company to say the least!

I generally love charmed aroma candles and jewelry. I placed an order of four candles which I've put all away for Christmas. Two or three days later I placed another order for myself of two different candles which showed different necklace options. I got them, burned them and dug out my necklaces. They smelled great. I got the same necklace twice, neither of them showed the same necklace options which is why I ordered these two particular candles. I emailed them inquiring about the candles and told them I received the same necklace twice and was hoping for a different necklace which was fine and I was just wondering as they both showed different necklaces. They apologized and sent me out a replacement necklace that was suppose to be different. I received the replacement necklace and it's the exact same as the other two. So now I have three necklaces that are all the exact same. I am disappointed in that. I was really looking forward to having different necklaces.

The items I ordered totaled $82, that isn't small change! I have sent emails, and they replied with the fact that my order is still being processed. How can an order placed 3 weeks ago still being processed? The items I ordered are for Christmas, and now I no longer will be able to give what I ordered as Christmas gifts. The main issue I really have is that there details about this prior to me ordering. Had I known a delay like this would occur I would have gone to the store and purchased directly. This is the first and last time I will ever give Charmed Aroma a dime of my money! Ordered 2 of the advertised "Thank you mom" mom necklace candle. Upon burning the first one I got a clear basic necklace not a mom one. The other candle was suppose to be a gift but I had to burn it to check the jewelry and that one also did not have the proper necklace collection inside. They refused to replace the candle and only are sending replacement necklaces by regular mail which will take 4+ weeks to arrive and I paid for a mom necklace candle for a gift and that is not what I have to gift! Such an oversight (manual or automated) is easily avoided. When I contacted the customer support chat I was met with avoidance and passive aggression. I am beyond disappointed in this company ,ordered my candles Nov .30 it is Jan.4 I still have nothing. I figured 4 plus weeks is "more" then enough time to package and ship just two candles obviously I was very wrong . My disappointment in your company is not a good way to start business with a first and last time customer . I ordered gifts from the states and beyond and got them in less then a week . They could offer no reasonable explanation other then it was completely *** fault . The only way to contact them is via email it's not a good way to conduct any business as far as I am concerned. I ordered on Nov 21 2020. I made a mistake on my order and emailed on Nov 23 2020 to ask if there was anyway to fix it. They said no it was already in the fulfillment department. That was fine, it was my mistake after all. So I ordered a replacement on Nov 24 2020. It is now Dec 15 2020, I just received both orders, I am truly surprised because others have not reviewed theirs. To add insult to injury, the order from Nov 21 was shipped Dec 3rd...there obviously could have been enough time to fix my mistake for me. And as an added example of their incompetence the second order placed Nov 24 was shipped Dec 2, 2020, that's the day before my first order shipped. I could not get anyone to actually speak to me, this is the first and only time I will ever deal with this company again. Their customer service is terrible. And they seem to spend more time on advertising and sales and sending you 3-4 emails a day rather than actually fulfilling orders and helping their customers when there is a way to do so.

Turns your finger green overpriced bad jewelry pretty much your buying the cheap jewelry and over paying for a candle or bath bomb
I ordered 2 candles on the 4th for a total of $60. The estimated arrival date was the 9th-10th and I received them on the 13th which isn't too bad, I understand that things happen. But upon arrival one of my candles was broken pretty badly on the top and had shards of glass in the bubble wrap and in the rubber on the lid. I am pretty disappointed about the candle being broken, like I said earlier I paid $60 which is a pretty hefty price and the product was broken. I did have a chance to burn the non-broken candle and I really enjoyed the scent and the ring is pretty great. It doesn't feel cheap and fits well. Although I'm disappointed about the broken candle I do think it is a pretty good product, some items are pretty pricey but if you really like candles and have some money to spare I think it is worth it.

Their candles come well packaged in bubble wrap. The rings are good quality silver. I am allergic to cheap jewelery and wear mine in the shower and all that, never turned green. I buy these as gifts for family and treats for myself. I currently have 5 options to burn at my home just in my bedroom alone.

I ordered three bath bombs on no November 15th. Somehow on charmed aroma system they messed up my address so I never got my items. I have reached out to customer service expressing my feelings my thoughts and asking for a refund or for the item to be shipped. I was told I have to pay re-shipping because it was my fault that the address that I put in correctly was mistaken on their end and I never received my product. So therefore I would have to re-pay shipping again to get my item. This is super frustrating I have tried contacting customer service twice after and have heard nothing back. This is beginning to feel like a scam I am out $50 and a Christmas present for an elderly person. I want this resolved as much as anybody else does And I am not afraid to take this matter and to hire your hands. I have never seen a company that does not have a customer service number to call and figure out and work with you what to do. This experience is awful I've ordered before and never had someone quite like this happen.

I made a multi candle purchase online. Never again. I ordered 2 of the pumpkin specialty jars. One arrived flawless the second left some things to be desired. Now it wasn't the end of the world, however when I spend my hard earned money on a full price premium item I do expect it to be right. I was willing to overlook it this once but decided that their clear quality issues should be addressed. I have spoken with a dozen others who have experienced the same (and worse) quality issues. I resolved to write a fair and honest review so people knew what they were gambling when they ordered this particular product. When I wrote an honest and fair review (gave it 3 stars) they did not post it. It appears they see only fit to post 5 star reviews. This does not give people a fair and balanced view of the product or company. They have ignored emails others have sent. I did not send one as I will no longer be purchasing from this company.

Placed an order October 22 and my credit card was charged immediately. I was told after ordering one of my items was sold out and I chose another and that was that. Come Monday i get an email saying two additional items are sold out and to choose alternatives so they can modify my order. I did so within an hour of getting the email. I heard nothing after that so the next day I emailed back and asked for a status update with my order, I didn't hear back. Today I went onto the online chat and they advised me two additional items in my order were sold out and to pick alternative items to replace them. At this point my order did not have a single item I originally order and I was out of options because there were no alternatives for me to pick - I had to pick alternatives three times! By the way - when checking the website, the items I ordered were still showing as available. I was told I would get a refund for the items that were sold out and that I would get an email regarding this - I got no emails. I am so frustrated!

It was around Mid-January that I reached out to them because the tracking was making no sense to me and I had realized that I had put in the wrong zip code so the package was on its way back to the company. They told me to reach out to them once the tracking said that it had reached the company to request a refund. I check back almost two months later for the tracking to still say the same thing. So I reach out to Charmed Aroma again wanting to know what is going on. They now inform me that ***, the delivery company they use, almost always loses their packages or the products come back damaged. So in turn, they will be deducting 25% of the entire cost of my order plus the shipping(the shipping I had no problem with since it was my mistake) from what I paid for. I have never known a company to place the fault of the delivery companies actions on their customers. Needless to say, I will never be buying anything from this company again and I just want everyone else to know what they are getting themselves into when purchasing from this company.

They told me it would cost me $8.95 to process my order and I would have to pay for return shipping. I fought for them to give me a prepaid shipping label and waive the fee as they couldn't cancel since it was too far deep into the " processing" stage to cancel. I waited two more weeks for my y to arrive on December 27th. I shipped back the same day and expected my refund when they received it. I tracked the package and it said it was delivered on January 4th. I hadn't received my refund and at this point it was January 15th. I contacted customer support and they said that they are processing my request immediately and I should receive it in 5-7 business days. It is now February 5th and I still have not received it. *** I cannot believe they can get away with this. *** they charge huge fees and cover their tactics with fine print impossible to find. To this day I am fighting for my money back and am struggling in these times with a lot of people being laid off.

I'm generally a person who buys what she wants when she sees it. Saw the new *** candle, wanted it, put it in my cart. Oh, but it's priced at 54.99 and they only apply free shipping at $55.
Now shipping is only $8 right? Or maybe I can buy more to make it free. But it's the principle of it. Companies do this to make you pay more. And in Canada, pennies don't even exist anymore.
Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I messaged their live chat to see if they'd waive it. I was told in fairness to other customers, they couldn't. That doesn't sit right with me. Nor should it with anyone.
You know what would be fair to other customers? Pricing your candles properly, and not using marketing ploys to make people buy more.
I was told my concern would be passed onto management. But I'm only one person, and if we keep letting companies like this do this and say NOTHING then really, its our own fault.
I will not be buying the candle, even though I wanted it. And my want for it is now just funneled into irritation and I'll be channeling that onto every social media platform I can.

I've been ordering from Charmed Aroma a lot over the past year, and once the pandemic hit, I found the quality has decreased significantly. Most of the packages I received were barely wrapped so would arrive broken, which I would email them about and they'd give me the runaround about it. I've ordered quite a bit and have had to email them quite frequently regarding significant damages. Every time I email I bring up suggestions on how to pack it better, but now instead of trying to pack things better they're putting the blame on the customer and flagging accounts of people who receive their damage products, including my own. They claim that every package is inspected before it goes out, but I doubt that since I've received lots of orders with the wrong product(s) in them or the wrong size of something.
Since this summer, more of their new releases have rhodium plated jewelry (most of the jewelry on their site in now rhodium plated as opposed to sterling silver), they fail to properly advertise their plated jewelry on the website (they're known for sterling silver so most people assume it's sterling silver) so new customers don't realize that the products they're buying aren't sterling silver, they've increased their prices significantly (where the plated jewelry is now as much as the sterling silver was and the sterling silver is now higher), they won't let anyone post a review that's less than 5 stars or that has anything negative in it, the quality of the jewelry has gone downhill, and they never own up to their own mistakes. They constantly say that they care about their customers and want them to be happy, but they really only care about making a profit.

Disappointment with Silver Ring Purchases
I was so excited when I learned about getting a true sterling silver ring and I bought a ton of items. The rings turned out to be junk, resembling what you'd expect from cheap apps with inferior products - they were not real silver, just coated, and when the coating chipped off, the brown metal underneath was exposed. I returned them to the store and they kept sending me the same low-quality replacements, despite my polite requests for a genuine 925 silver ring as advertised. The sales staff was kind and helpful, but the head office let me down - I had two rings that were clearly counterfeit and they refused to replace them, claiming I had made too many replacement requests. With each request, Charmed Aroma chose and sent me a replacement. If they had sent a genuine 925 silver ring from the start, I wouldn't have needed so many replacements. The company even admitted publicly to having a batch of non-925 sterling silver rings, which made me feel they were depleting this bad inventory through replacements. They falsely advertise sterling silver, then trap you in a cycle where you can't get what was promised, choosing replacements 'randomly' that are still fake, and then they decide you've complained too much to warrant further action. It's wrong for a business to operate like this. I have photos and the two obviously fake rings as evidence. Consumers should be aware of the misleading information this company provides.

They wouldn't be receiving such backlash from consumers if concerns and emails were ACTUALLY answered - in a timely manner AND not with a generic copy pasted response that doesn't even address or answer the consumers question.
They literally posted a over due statement a few days ago - meanwhile their marketing team have been continuously advertising new promotions and over promising us, knowing that they lack the inventory.
Higher management should really look into whoever is responsible for their inventory count as consumers are able to purchase products that they are sold out of. Meanwhile the customer is under the impression their order is being processed - only to find out weeks later their order in fact has been cancelled and they now need to wait to be issued a refund.
Their refund policy is honestly mind blowing and all part of a marketing scheme. They take your payment right away and refuse to cancel your order regardless if it hasn't even been processed. They tell you they'll provide you with a return shipping label - which ends up costing you more then the product itself.
I understand it's the holidays but it seems like every other business, smaller or larger have been able to keep up with their demand and get their orders out.
That being said they've been informing customer that their orders have been shipped when in fact they've been creating electronic shipping labels and not actually shipping them all out. And if they are shipped out customers are receiving them damaged because of them being so poorly packaged.
When they're not blaming delays on the shipping companies they blame it on a pandemic we've been facing for over a year now.
Their *** and *** page is flooding with negative reviews. And if you look them up on ComplaintsBoard.com- their once perfect score is now ruined. The fact of the matter is we are facing a pandemic we can't control and we are now looking at yet again another lockdown - I highly doubt the government is going to see scented candles as a essential therefore CA source of income and future relies on their online sales.
That being all said, the company really needs to step up, start taking ownership and higher management needs to look at restructuring a proper team. They're losing a lot of lucrative business over a poorly handled situation.

I placed an order on 12/22 for multiple items. I received them in a timely manner, but 2 of the Tis the Season wood wick candles are defective and will not stay lit no matter how many times tried. One in a size 9 and one in a size 7 (gift for my sister). I've contacted Charmed Aroma multiple times to get either a replacement or refund and had no luck. I've sent in videos and pics of the size 9, but they want videos of the 2 candles by each other. The size 7 was a gift. I asked if they could just process the replacement for the size 9 and they won't do it. Beyond frustrated with this company.

I been back and forth with them. I obliged several times to send photos of the candle. Was offered 10% discount code that was invalid. I tried it on a regular price item not *** or on sale. Started to burn candle finally got to the ring Nov. 14th, the Hemp ring candle they sent was a size 7, I immediately sent them a online email, *** message which they did not reply to, and commented on a post which they did not reply to. A few days later I get an email stating they have arranged for this order of an replacement ring to be sent out. The order is still saying it hasnt even left yet that was over a week ago, all they have to do it drop it in the mail and mail it out to me, not 3 to 4 weeks I should see an replacement. They arent sending a new candle just a ring, my order got here in a week, why is a ring taking 3 to 4 weeks? All I want is this order to be sent out, they should do good on their end and make their customer happy, by delaying this order it's making me even more angrier that they cant simply send a ring out. Either they refund me the entire candle order at the price I paid or send the right ring out immediately not when they feel like it.

I placed my order Nov 29 and received a delivery date of Dec 17. To date my order hasn't even shipped. I have emailed them and received a *** answer saying they are sorry but are delayed due to promos. I sent a follow-up email and nobody has responded. I messaged them on *** and received the same response in an email. I advised that I ordered these items and needed them to be delivered by the 17th. I responded asking them how I can cancel my order and received a response asking for my order number so they could look into it. It is now Dec 14th and have received no information about my order. *** I just want my order delivered based on the delivery date that was given when I placed.my order.
