2014 dodge charger left front cylinder 2 misfire
So we recently noticed we were getting a check engine light on our car 4 months ago, so we took it into a dealer and they changed the spark plugs and told us it was all good, engine warning light was gone (148000km). 3 weeks ago the warning engine light has since come back so we took the car back to a shop with same issue again. Misfire on cylinder 2 once again. So the shop did a quick test by switching the 1, 2 coil packs around to see if it would follow. It however did not, still cylinder 2 miss fire. So that is as far as the shop got to checking this problem out. The cost of labor to preform a leak down test was too much and changing out the cylinder, if that is the problem was going to be a $4000 expence. The shop told us that this is a very systemic problem with earlier models and that it could be affecting ours as well. From all the reading I have done I have come to conclude this is a design flaw with that cylinder and a proper recall should have been made. I am a very proud owner of this car but I think this was a problem from day one with this 3.6 lt engine that was ignored. I can tell you I am not very happy.
Desired outcome: There was a extended warranty, recall on this part that extended to 150000km that should have been on all the 3.6 lt engines and not just the [protected]
Warping door panels
Leased a Chrysler 300S AWD in Sept. 2017 for 39 month/49000. The sales rep. at Lafontaine Chrylser, Jeremy Becklehamer, suggested I purchase an extended warranty to cover the vehicle after the manufacturer (36 month/36000) warranty expired so I did MOPAR maximum care. Mid-summer 2020 I noticed my door panels were warping and rising up, like the glue holding the top edge had failed. This happened to both the front passenger and rear passenger side doors. I didn't think too much about it because the vehicle was being turned in in a few months and I'd just have it taken care of then.
I returned the vehicle a week early to have this addressed. A few days later my sales rep called and told me this is a cosmetic problem and is not covered under my extended warranty. I was furious! This isn't as much cosmetic as it's a defective material/design...I started looking online and guess what? 1000's of customers are, or have had the same problem. FCA-US has been selling 3 models of vehicles with this design flaw since 2015. I called MOPAR to ask about coverage, a 'RUDE' individual at MOPAR, accused me of doing this. He said "I have friends that own the same vehicle and this hasn't happened to their cars" and he's never heard of this problem.
After getting UPSET with my sales rep. for selling me a warranty that doesn't cover the vehicle like he said, I got a call from the dealerships Service Manager, Derek Smith, He went to the lot and inspected the vehicle and told me the leasing company won't even notice "don't worry about it". Well, they did notice and now US bank is charging me almost $800 to fix this door panel. I'm also going to report US BANK for price gouging... an issue with the other door has a chip out of a plastic trim piece (OEM part cost $73) and they say it costs $965 for a markup roughly of 864%. WOW!
My overall experience= POOR from all. NOT buying/leasing a Chrysler (or any FCA) cars again; This was my 4th and last purchase from LaFontaine Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM in Fenton, Michigan; I will never use US BANK for any of my financial needs. After doing more research I've found a Class action lawsuit filed Sept 10, 2020 against FCA-US for this, over 30 pages of people with the same problem.

There was a recall apparently on my Chrysler emblem on steering wheel because of airbag. Took my vehicle to Drayton Valley Alberta shop for some work and they removed it... No notification just ripped my vehicle apart. Unbelievable. Then they say they have no emblem to replace this. I am livid... Horrible thing to do to a customer. Rip their vehicle apart without any knowledge...
I want someone to replace what they have damaged... Absolutely horrific to have this happen to me.

Refund, missing part and registration issue
On February 8th 2021 I purchased a new vehicle at Safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Warrenton in Virginia. When they sold me the car (VIN 1C6SRFBT4MN606202) they gave me a temporary registration plate that is invalid in Massachusetts. I did not know it when I picked up the car so I took it home to find out from my insurance agent that I cannot drive and insure this car based on the temporary registration. I feel this information was withheld from me by the dealer on pursue so they can sell me the car. So now it is almost 3 week since I bought this car and it seats useless, but my loan started right on time, February 8th 2021. When I contacted the dealership many times regarding the car registration they never replied. They also ignored my voicemails so at this point I don't know how long it will take the dealer to register my new car.
Also, when I arrived home I noticed that the roof rack mounting cover is missing. I didn't notice it when I was buying this car since it is not visible from the ground. When I called the dealer they said they can't send me the replacement.
Furthermore, I have to rent a car to commute every day, spending extra money.
Please help me to resolve the registration issue and I would like to receive a refund from Chrysler for all the days I cannot drive the car

Chrysler Lifetime Powertrain Warranty
When the government was forcing car dealerships out of business in 2009, we decided to help dealership #35 66420 Fairfax Chrysler-Plymouth by purchasing a new Chrysler Town & Country Limited. We also bought the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty #[protected]. We were sold the vehicle and shortly after the dealership was just a used car lot. Moving forward to 16 July 2018, we had transmission trouble hundreds of miles from home and received warranty repairs at a nearby Chrysler dealership using the Lifetime Warranty. Now, in 28 January 2021, the transmission is going out again and we were told by the local Chrysler dealership that our warranty has been cancelled by Chrysler because we didn't get five year inspections! We are suppose to have received a warranty booklet, but all we have are the pages relating to the Lifetime Warranty we paid for and they say nothing about this requirement. We never received a postcard, email or phone call from Chrysler warning of a pending cancellation, despite our living at the same address, with the same email and phone number which Chrysler has. We were not warned by the dealership that repaired our transmission that we had this requirement. And calls to Chrysler's Customer Assistance Center resulted in no assistance whatsoever. The repairs at a Chrysler dealership should have restarted the five year requirement, but they refused any concessions. So we used the warranty once...
Desired outcome: The most desirable would be total coverage, but sharing the cost would have been welcomed.
Shifter is dangerous and not one available to repair, they say a nationwide backlog
The shifter began jumping out of gear about october, 2020... When I would put in park getting out it had moved back to drive and I had to quickly get back in and put back in park. There had been an earlier re call, took to dealer ship and they supposedly fixed whatever problem was. At time of recall I did not have any problems. As time wore on I began to have shifter problems. The light on shifter began to go off and on and it getting out of shift became more frequent... Took to dealership in southaven ms... Service mgr said there had no complaints... My research showed different... He said they would have to replace place but back order... This was in november. It is now january, 21 and I am still driving and the shifter is still on back order, according to landers jeep they know when they will be able to replace with corp saying that 357 shifters so far are on back order... That is all that they would do... This situation is not only dangerous but scary... Chrysler continues to shove under the rug issues with the shifter and doesn't seem to care about customers who need more than just lies and blank stares.

We purchased our chrysler 300s 2014 new. Love the car but having numerous problems with our door panels warping, warping big time. This has to be a product defect, so why is there no recall on this problem? I noticed there is a class action lawsuit pending but I would prefer if you admitted to the problem and did a recall. Leased a 2017 300 AWD and had extended warranty but now I'm getting billed $767 by leasing bank for replacing the warped door because MOPAR extended warranty calls it a 'cosmetic' issue...I will never buy/lease another Chrysler- FCA vehicle and this was my 4th.
Maintenance issues with 2014 grand cherokee
Since purchasing the 2014 Grand Cherokee there have been 70 incidents of repairs or recalls, many of which have lead to unsafe vehicle conditions and forcing us to rent a vehicle to work or do our regular life functions. The most recent repairs took over a month to have the work done and roughly 20 hours of work was done to the vehicle. The car was returned three times to the dealership beginning 10/8/2020 and ending 11/13/20 for this round with another service to be scheduled as soon as the backordered parts are received. Since 10/8/20 we have rented vehicles to allow us to work and have transportation, all at our cost. To date this has amounted to nearly $1500.00. The vehicle was towed in to be service after the initial visit and again returned the third time the service was supposedly completed. Our extended warranty did cover the rental till June but it now is not covering the excessive rental expenses.

Front and rear diff oil as the book said... Antifreeze flush... Trans flush... Every thing as written... I spent alot of money... I have been a loyal costumer for a long time... I have talked many friends and relatives into buying chrysler... I was told my life time warranty has expired because I didnt get a... Free...Inspection done... I have made many calls and get the same smoke blown up my [censored]... If this is how you treat a long time loyal customer?... I will go else where... Ford... Chevy... Toyota... What ever... Spare tire not included in 2020 model.
Purchased Chrysler Pacifica 2020 ( owed older version for 3.5 years). Was driving on the highway with my family of 6 when my tire went flat with the huge hole ( nor reparable) . Luckily we were able to pull over on the side and wanted to replace it with the spare, however, I found out its not included in my car, it was only pump and the glue, Really ? ! I started to read manual where is mentioned that spare tire included ( if equipped ) or tire service kit ( if equipped ) . Having previous model with a spare tire, it was not even a question that the newer model would have it. Here am I, in the middle of highway with entire family, temperature outside 100 F, late evening, weekend, most of tire shops are closed .. the nearest one was 17 miles away, where I have to pay tow truck to take me there + police car to transport part on my family because we would not fit all in tow truck .. Called Chrysler customer service to complain about not including spare tire, but they said it's optional and I must pay for it. I don't think this should be an optional, spare tire should be as a standard package. What if this situation happens somewhere in the dessert of AZ, or any other place with no cell phone service … THEN WHAT ? Chrysler, this is a safety issues which should never be an option! I hope you see my COMPLAIN and do something about it!
2011 dodge dakota laramie 4.7lv8
Bought this truck about 5 years ago from a local dealer with 28000 miles on it. The previous owner bought it new. 5 years later it only has 84000 miles on it. I have kept all of my service record for it including every 3000 mile oil change. Have always treated it like a baby and bragged about it. About 3 weeks ago it developed a knock in the engine and power seemed"off". Brought it to a local dealer and was told it is a lower engine knock and that I needed my engine replaced. Called dodge to inquire if they would do anything about it and was told that there was nothing they could do. Not a thing! It is a shame that dodge will not stand by their product to even make it to 1000, 000 miles. Very discouraged with them! Don't buy a dodge!
2009 jeep liberty
Chrysler refuses to honor lifetime warranty, they admit the jeep has been well maintained. My warranty was cancelled because they claim it wasn't in for the 5 year power train inspection. Every time the dealership said something needed to be done we did it. We were informed the the warranty was in limbo, we were to call back in two or three days. When we called back we were told it was cancelled. Both times we were told records showed the jeep was well maintained. Each time we took it in for an oil change they did a vehicle inspection.

I have 7700 miles on my truck and my drivers side window clips keep breaking. 3 times in the past couple months I have spent time sitting in the dealership while they fix the issue. These clips that are chrysler manufactured are the issue. I am wondering how many more times will I need to spend my time to repair this same issue.
