Citi Trends worker/manager

One of the workers I believe he was the manager accused me of shoplifting while I was looking for a portable charger I had saw early in the week. I came back to see if it was there and he kept looking at me the whole time. So I left the store because I had to use the restroom and then I came back and he and another person kept staring at me while I continued looking. So I couldn't find it so I left to go in another store and he pursued me and said "listen honey I saw you take something out of the store and put it in your pockets so give me it before I call the police". I proceeded to empty my pockets in my hands and he saw I had nothing so he said whatever just stay out of my store. I shop there alot so this is an issue

Citi Trends being rushed out the store

I'm a regular customer and I drive 45 minutes to go to the cititrends in hazzlehurst. The store is clean and its convenient to find what you need. I spoke with the store manager and she apologized for the situation. I have a disabled child and she turned the radio off and slamming things like we were a burden on her. She checked us out after saying she didn't have a register to get in the other line. I asked for the manager and she stated that she was the manager C.Smith was on my recite. She is unprofessional and rude and this need to go beyond the store manager.

Citi Trends clothes, shorts and shirts

I'm constantly coming to this citi trend only because it's the only one close to where I live. I live in Des Plaines, IL. I came to Citi Trend Friday May 25, 2018. I spent 100.00 on clothes. When I got home, I noticed all my clothes steal had the sensors on them. I called the store to complain. I got nothing but attitude from all the ppl I talked to. I have my receipt. I put the clothes back in the bag. But it's Memorial Day, who wants to travel 30 miles back to the store. I'm very disappointed because I bought these clothes for Memorial day. And all I can get is well u can bring them back and we'll try and get the sensor tags off. What...? Are u serious? I will never shop there again... U should not be selling ppl clothes if u can't get the sensor off of them period. Now I guess my 100.00 dollars is gone down the damn drain!

Citi Trends managers rudeness

The manager feeasha of the east capital location in Milwaukee Wisconsin was very rude and disrespectful. She made disrespectful comment about me and to me in front of the other customers. I spend at least $500 biweekly but that is over. She needs to be fired honestly. Her profanity is also a problem. I hope this will be resolved otherwise if she works there when I try to come back neither myself or my family and friends will return

Citi Trends the manager that works there

Was just there. Looking at things on the sale rack. Something was laying on top of the rack so I moved it over and kept looking. A worker there grabbed it and just gave me a wired look. So I keep shopping. Then she called out they where closing to make finials purchase. I saw the line was packed so instead of just standing I was looking for a jacket for my granddaughter until the line went down. But again this worker came up to me saying we are closing like I didn't hear her. Come to find out about her rudeness she is the manger. No store needs a rude manger. And I was very upset that there were others still looking and for some reason she keep pointing me out.

Citi Trends service - I am complaining about being treated so rudely.

Hi, I went into the Talladega, Al branch around 7 something Saturday night Feb 24th, After me and a family member walk down the aisle after about 10 minutes and browsed through some shirts, I hear someone yell all rudely and ghetto "We CLOSED!" Then we hear a woman laughing. Yes, Me and my aunt heard them say that but all along we were thinking they were playing because we were really thinking that the store close at 9 so we didn't pay it any mind and continued shopping. So after 20 minutes of me picking out a load of outfits for my kids, a pregnant lady comes and say, when we were finally heading to the front, "Y'all need to exit the building." I said dang y'all closing this early? What time is it? She said I said it earlier, I said ok, I'm sorry I thought y'all closed at 9 and I Heard you say it but I thought y'all were playing. She said, "Nah, I was dead serious" So we thought they were about to check us out, she says " Oh we've already pulled the drawers, so u can't get that!" I don't appreciate being treated that way. I am a manager my self, customers should feel welcomed as they are ready to spend their money on your products. I feel like they could've handled that another way, by saying "Hello, welcome to citi trends- - - (in which I may add that we never got a greeting in the first place), We will be closing in such and such minutes." I love citi trends, but you will never have to worry about me nor my family going back there again!

Citi Trends inappropriate behavior by a manager

I occasionally shop at the Watt Ave./Elkhorn Location in Sacramento, CA and I want to anonymously report some questionable behavior I have witnessed from someone I believe is the store manager. I believe his name is Andre and I have witnessed overly flirtatious banter between him and a particular female employee (I cannot remember her name) clearly a subordinate of him. I don't think it is harassment because she seems to be alright with it, but nonetheless it is pretty unprofessional and I think you should train your managers to act more professionally. I work in HR for another company and this behavior is outrageous by most standards of orderly conduct. I think his behavior puts this location at high risk for your brand. Just thought I would let you know.

Citi Trends store manager gave away my personal property to another individual

They wouldn't give me Citi trends corporate info so IDK how to reach corporate but hopefully this will reach them... *Please Share*

Saturday January 28th, I visited a Citi trends store location in Charlotte NC to get a child some clothes. Upon entering, the cashier had me leave my bag in the front. I had her place my keys in my bag to avoid me accidentally sitting them down somewhere in the store. She hands me a ticket which matches the number on my bag. I walk around the store for maybe 15 or 20 minutes and go to check out my bag. There's another cashier there and she states that my ticket didn't match any of the bags up there. She calls for the lady who checked my bag in and she looks and my bag is gone. She leaves to check the camera and comes back to tell me that she apologize but she was rushing, didn't check the tags, and gave my bag away. THE BAG THAT HAD MY KEYS IN IT. All of my keys! She goes out the store to see if she see the lady on the camera that she gave my bag to. Nothing. I'm like what am I supposed to do because my only car key is on there. I ask for a manager... How about the manager is the lady that gave my bag away, smh. About 45 minutes later they call a locksmith with the DM's approval. Once the locksmith arrived, I'd been there going on 1.5 hours. 45 more minutes pass by and the locksmith couldn't make a key for the car because I have a computer chip type of key and he stated that it would take the company at least 2-3 days to make one. So I get them to give me an incident report in the meantime while they see what their DM wanted them to do. He basically told them to tell me that I have to just deal with it and wait to see if someone return my keys. Now I had been at the location for about 3 hours already... stranded because of THEIR store manager! So they apologize again, give me a $25 gift card, and proceed to close down the store. They close down the store and I waited outside for the police to arrive so that they could do a report. I had to leave my car and catch a ride home. Luckily my family was left home or we would've been locked out the house as well. Anyway, I was told that to replace the car key would be $300-700+, my landlord fees to replace the locks and mailbox would be $125, I had to miss a client/work this morning that cost me $225, I had to pay gas to catch a ride home, I have RA and neuropathy in my feet (thus the reason I'm parked in handicap parking) and had to stand for hours, I missed hours with my family, I'm going to miss church, and I still don't have my car which means that work will be missed tomorrow as well. So, I'm trying to figure out... What is this little $25 gift card going to do for me? However, I was told by CMPD that I'd have to treat this as a civil matter of #Negligence #EmotionalDistress #PropertyDispute #PainAndSuffering all because Citi trends failed to properly follow their bag check in/out policy. I still don't have my car and no ride to the store because my other car is currently in the shop! #Cititrends

Citi Trends citi trend district manager store # 513

Greetings Citi Trend:

I just wanted to express my concerns on how the transition of our removal from Citi Trends in Louisville KY store 513 as security was handled. It was totally disrespectful to our company and insulting. The community is also not to happy about the transition and what took place. The district manager of the store who is Caucasian, I believe her name is Mary, has been playing her personnel against each other who are African American staff in an African American community. She would tell myself and my security staff in advance who she was about to fire all the way up to the manager (Anthony - Store manager in Louisville) in advance, which we thought was very unprofessional as a district manager. She would even tell us what manager she was about to fire from the other Citi Trends (Preston Store - Louisville) and how the employees were complaining about that manager (Preston Store Manager). She would talk about the employees to security.

Here's my issue, she informed several of my officers my company was being replaced because one officer would leave early at store # 513, and during the holiday a officer came in late two hours at Preston store. When I was informed, I immediately moved that officer despite the officer having permission from the store manager Anthony to leave at 9:20 after the store closed to catch his bus several times when his car broke down. And at the Preston store, that day, I came in to work once I found out the officer was going to be late. I find this to be very unprofessional also for a district manager in Louisville, KY.

My officers didn't think anything of it because I never mentioned it, and took it as more of her gossip. We were informed on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 that January 21, 2018 would be our last day. The new company (Guard - One) came to the store and held a special interview in the store on January 21, 2018 for the Officers that worked that Monday - Friday and Saturday - Sunday at the Citi Trend Store 513. The officers took the job to stay employed but were upset due to a African American company was removed to bring in a non minority company when the company that was there just gave them the best inventory they had had in years. How do you remove an African American company for poor performance and hire the exact same officers and replace the company with a non minority company? We completely turned that store around. When the new company came, they were going to put two scared white guys in the store, but the store manager Latanya stated she wanted the officers from the previous company because of the great job they did for the store and protecting the staff. Why was this store chosen? was it because of the district manager? We did our jobs and much more. The community respected us.
I would like to know is Citi Trend away of their actions and the actions of their district manager?

Mr. D. Watson, CEO

Citi Trends management/customer service

On 12/23/17 after a long day of work.I decided to take my wife to pick up a few items for the night we had planned from your Raleigh nc location on capital blvd .After shopping and carrying small talk with the manager and the clerk. We kindly said goodbye and went home. Once dressed we noticed the clerk never put the items in the bag so we called the location @942pm to notify them. They kept insisting that we come in the morning to get it because they close soon. But we live 4 min away. So my wife sent me to get the accessories. When I reached it was 949 pm and customers were still shopping. I found the accessories on the wall and told the manager that before they so rudely hung up in my wife's face that she was trying to tell them they forgot and they needed to run the cameras back. Keep in mind we shop at this location at least 3 times a week so you would think almost all employees know us when we come in. The accessories are 4.99. I am a business owner. Our total that night came to like $75. Instead of running the cameras to see she didn't even want to look at my receipt or anything so I showed her once again and said ...this is what I paid for and began to leave. She runs behind me with a phone to call the police saying A BIG BLACK MAN IS STEALING FROM OUR LOCATION AND GAVE MY TAG #...INSTEAD of leaving I stayed and waited for the police. Once they arrive after several minutes of this lady arguing with me saying I stole something I clearly paid for. As a manager u would think that she would have watched the camera and notice the mistake the employee made. Once the office made her run the camera she noticed the mistake. Do u think I got an apology?!? No I received a trespassing form and my accessories because she told the officer that I loud talked her and threw items in her store. The officer said he saw none of that on camara but there is no audio. So he has to trespass any customer that they are refusing to serve any more but that I should take this up with citi trends corporate affiliates. Never have I ever been so embarrassed in my life. Other patrons outside began taking pictures and video...all of this for a set of 4.99 accessories that I paid for and a young clerk made a mistake that her manager could have recified by checking the cameras. Even when she realized the mistake her pride ego and fiasco she put on wouldn't allow her to apologize...only thing she did was give me my trespass paper receipt and accessories. Not to mention my receipts for the week before add up to about 900...my wife and I shop a lot at this location.

Citi Trends customer service sucks

I purchased some items for my nephews. I got all the way home and noticed the security tag was still on one of the shirts. Thankfully I don't live super far but still if I did that would be another problem. So I take the item back to the store and approach the same young lady who rang me up and did not make sure the tag was off D. Tarrance. As I approached the counter she greeted me and I started to explain the tag was left on one of the shirts I purchased earlier that day she hurried up and removed the tag and threw my shirt on the counter for me to bag up myself. I worked in retail for years and I would never treat a customer the way I was treated today by that young lady with pink weave. I didn't get an apology for her not removing the tag or an apology for having to come all the way back to the store because she didn't do her job. Clearly that young lady needs to be retrained on customer service skills because she does not have them.
