Unprofessional employee, and personal injury, filed police report
At the Citi Trends location in Kalamazoo Michigan I attempted to return a pair of shoes in which I was denied. This was not the issue however. This attempt to return shoes resulted in a mouthy employee behind the counter a customer she called her cousin and another young lady she claimed as a best friend. The cousin the best friend and the employee blocked me from my 1 month old baby in stroller scooted me out the door and all three which included the employee blocked me in the doorway with my baby and stroller in the shoes still in store. This argument lasted a good 5 minutes with me being blocked in the doorway and unable to come in with my baby still in the store the employee laughed it off and sided with the cousin and best friend she never once stop the incident she never once called the cops and she never once prevented it. Furthermore, well just standing there I commented about her letting this happen in the store and told her as an employee basically she should have stopped it because even though it went as far as the lady she said as best friend hits me with another woman in front of me and my stroller still behind the 2 and still didn't call the cops just let it happen. my stroller was then brought out by one of the women well these shoes were left in the store and the three still in the doorway I went back in to the store to grab the shoes I attempted to return a customer and myself were still arguing I then spit on the customer in result to her hitting me and last but not least because she just stood there as opposed to calling the cop and just watching in the doorway she then proceeded to watch a customer grab me by the hair throw me to the cement and kick me two times and still just watched as the two ladies went to their car and I walked off with a cracked head a scrape to my lower back and blood rolling down my face all while my newborn was there and she still didn't report the incident but instead stood in the doorway watching I proceeded to go to Meijer grocery store not too far from there called the cops and filed a police report myself with a cracked head blood on my face and my newborn. I did not catch any of their names I did not know them either I feel the employ could have been a little more professional should have not argued with me regardless of what was said as she was on the job and should have remained professional while on the job I also feel she should have done a little more to prevent it and kicked the aggressor out and myself as opposed to standing in the doorway with the two customers who assaulted me and I feel she should have got the cops involved or at least attempted to get the cops as opposed to watching and blocking the doorway with the two customers while the two customers in the employee remained in the store and removed myself. I had alot of stuff on me I did not receive my items back,.. they made it look like I did,.. but as you can see I put ALL of my belongings inside a basket and gave it to the employer she proceeded to take my things out of the basket...

Every time I go into Citi Trends in Danville Illinois there's always three female sending them back talk and laugh and even the managers back there and the store is a mess there's clothes on the floor that stuff that I doubt I went there two days ago came back the next 3 days later and the same thing I put down what still on the floor actually was on the floor the store is a complete mess they don't clean up I don't know what the employees are sending that doing but they ain't working they need to find somebody that wants to clean up and work and get rid of the lazy bums that's in there

I lived in Antioch I shop all the time at this store .MOst employe know me as a client because I'm there all the time I always bring my receipt for an exchange because they put it on the computer and take my personal information. Last month I shop there I didn't have time to try them on lost my receipt after two days went back there they refused with attitude to listen to me or just do an exchange not even a refund the clothes still have to tag I just lost the receipt . inadequate working conditions
In Citi Trends store 390, the employees suffer from poor working conditions. The air condition has been broken for most of the summer of 2018. When asking managment (Robin Gaylon and Jim Dunn) when the air will be fixed, they replied, "Soon." That interaction happened weeks ago. The air is still not working. Mississippi's summer heat reaches into the 100s, so to be working without any form of AC is hazardous to the employees' health. There has also been an incident where the smell of smoke was coming from one of the vents when the air was supposedly fixed. When acquiring again about the air, Ms. Gaylon replied, "Its not hot to me." If these conditions continue, I fear that employees and shoppers alike will be harmfully affected by these poor conditions.

I never thought I would leave Citi Trend. I was there so much they called me Mrs. Citi Trends. I was always looking for ways to make it better. I had a visit from a secret shopper who stayed at my store was an example of what a Citi Trends should look like. Then I became Injured but I still came back working harder than ever. It's harder when you're hurt to keep up but I keep going. My DM stated as long as I have a job you have a job I know what you can do and I know you can do it again. I pushed myself and ended up with a second injury. Note so easy with two injuries. But this time I came back to a 90 probation. I was told by my regional manager these people don't know you these are all new people don't come in here passing people telling them what to do when I was told that I had a emergency that was the best and additional 45 hours to help me get back to where the store needs to be. I was told I had a better staff which pertained of mostly managers that they kept a start up while I was gone and I should have no problem now. Later I was told I was only allowed to use 10 hours and that we had to make it work from there Per the regional manager. This associates allowing them to only work one day but I have all managers and this is the best staff that knows what to do. So I wasn't worried until I started getting written up for things to Stephanie and I went through my business checking off things that were done taking pictures to make sure they knew it was done but it wasn't enough it was already set in stone but I wasn't going to be there the acting in my tea remainder acting store manager and I was written out before my 90 days was out. When you have worked so hard for a place for eight years is hard to understand that because you got hurt you were let go and he was sad to be for compliance I tried to contact the CEO Mr. Jim Dunn To explain I was not able to reach him but I left him two messages never heard back from him. Is not only customers that you have to take care of you have to make sure your associates are OK as well until you realize your associate so important they were always be a hair over town when someone dedicated their self to a company and in the end you just let them go something needs to be done. After eight years with the company I got written out in less than two months someone needs to check themselves and find out what is going on in district 22 if not the CEO then someone higher. I hope and pray this which is the right person. This is my work.

Today is 8.14.2018.I purchase a sheet set on 8.13.2018.i wash them b4 I put them on my bed, and they faded all over my other cloths.i should be able to get a full refund.but I was told I can only exchange them, because I washed them already.they won't replace my cloths a least refund me my money.how was I to no they would fade.after I take them back o won't be shopping there anymore.

She has a young black girl work in that store a very hard work woman and they dog her out talk down on her with other employee no matter who around. On 7July 2018 a spider was on me in the Hinesville store as a result of it I hurt my leg could not walk properly an ended up in the ER. Contacted citi trends the next day July, 8 2018. I talk to a manager and a sale associate that was there during the incident I also left my name and phone number so they could view the tape so to determine what kind of spider it was as of Aug.9, 2018 no one has contacted me about this incident.

unprofessional behavior from store manager
On July 24th 2018 I was in the citi trends on north eastern Blvd in Fayetteville, NC. I walked in the store and I hear the manager named Deborah yelling and cursing out loud at a customer. I'm not sure what happened, but I know the kids and elderly people did not need to hear none of this. The way she was yelling was like she was going to fight the lady. I'm not shopping at that particular store no more. Every so often I would shop at that store and something is always going on and she is the one involved. I got a jump suit for my birthday it was really cute it just didn't fit me so I went to citi trends to return the jumpsuit with the person who bought it for my birthday as soon as I stepped into the store the manager looked at me really rude and I had to wait in line to get attended when she finally did attend me she was rude I told her it didn't fit me and she said I couldn't return it because it was on clarance and said that they always tell everyone they can't return clearance I told her that the person didn't tell me that and she insisted that they did I asked what she could do about it and she said nothing I asked for at least store credit and she continued to be rude she said she can't do nothing for me and walked away and started stocking stuff I was left there dumb founded and ignored I will think twice before shopping here again

I am a regular shopper at Citi Trends, but after my last visit I'm not sure if I will evrr set foot in this store. I purchased some boxer briefs & men's tanks, upon reaching home I quickly realized I picked up the wrong sizes. I tried to exchange the items only to be told by the rather gruff manager. "We don't exchange underwear, it's written there" as she gestures at the wall behind her.
I explained, this is something that should be told to a customer who purchases an item that is deemed underwear. She ignores me & proceeds to attend to another customer. As an HR professional I have to acknowledge not only is this distasteful it's extremely poor customer service. There are many stores with similar return policies, Forever 21, Windsor Store to name a few. However, here's a tip Citi Trends... they tell their customers all about the return policy each time.
In my heart I don't think anything will be done about this but in my head I hope Citi Trends will acknowledge & adapt the policy of explaining their returm policy to EVERY customer who walks through their doors.

I bought some lingerie I tried to put it over my chest and it did not fit I tried to return it and the mangers was really rude and was like can’t return sleep wear well for one they need to have dressing rooms so this problem won’t happen and 2nd they need to have it somewhere saying can’t return sleep wear. I have been singled out by one of your so called general managers. This person said her name is quita. She was very unprofessional and spoke to me inappropriately. The date of the incident is today july 7, 2018 at approx. 12:15pm.
I spent a lot and i expect to be treated with the utmost respect when i have to return an item.
When i first came in i had the wrong receipt. So i went home and got the correct receipt. Quita asked if i had the debit card that was used in the purchase. I replied no i did not. She than said to me that she told me the last time i returned something without the debit card that she would not do it again. I told her she had me mixed up with someone else and she kept on and on about i was in there a couple of weeks ago and returned some tennis shoes. I don't recall that at all. So she called up another employee to tell her not to except any other returns from me without my debit card, and she would put it in the record. I was astonished at this procedure. I told her why would she mark me and she said this was a training procedure. I explained i didn't have time for her to train someone and she called me "baby" and i totally didn't appreciate that term when referring to me. I said to her i'm not your baby and i am a grown woman. I then asked her name and several times asked for a manager and she said she was the manager and i asked for the overall manager and was told she was the gm.
Please refer to your in-store video surveillance tape to validate what i experienced.
This was totally unwarranted, embarrassing and inappropriate behavior by a manager and especially a general manager.
Please contact me and let me know what action will be taken so that i or anyone else will never have to go through this again ever!

I am complaining bout a employee at the atmore, ala citi Trends, the girl name on the ticket is J. Brown. this happened 7/1/18 round 3:00 pm well 1st of all she was rude at how she tell you to leave your bag up front, which I was leaving up front any way I had to get a bigger size, then we needed to try on clothes in the dressing room which the door was held open with a chair so my 7 year old niece needed to try on school pants, which I have her one pair at a time to take in, so but the time my niece got in the dressing room j. Brown walked over rolling her eyes with that bad attitude cause we was using the dressing room. so iyou said the door was opened up held by a chair so I assume yall had it open due to the crowd so. snappy like she said no! We have to let yall in so I told my niece open the door and let her see she had 1 pair of shorts I had the other 3 in my hand. then I told that manger you know what for you to work in a store you have a bad attitude. she just said. I usually Travel 25min from my home to shop at a different location that is very pleasant.when I shouldn't have to because there is a citi trends 5 min away. The Milwaukee WI location east capitol is rude and prices are never on items and one of the workers snatched a hat off my childs head and told her don't touch anything else. The cashiers spoke to me rudely and with aggression the men look drunk and dress very sloppy as well. Please do better. And the manager lady was rude and they all seem unhappy and miserable.
