Disappointing Experience at Claire's Boutique
After reading numerous reviews from customers, it's evident that Claire's Boutique has been receiving overwhelmingly negative feedback. Customers have reported issues ranging from poor customer service, unprofessional behavior from staff, to unsatisfactory product quality. Many customers have expressed concerns about ear piercings gone wrong, infections, and even incidents of lost or broken jewelry. It's disheartening to see such consistent negative experiences shared by customers. Based on the reviews, it seems that Claire's Boutique has a long way to go in improving their services and ensuring customer satisfaction.
One ear was pierced correctly. The other was not
I usually never buy anything or do business with any company without checking the reviews first. However, Claire's was recommended to me as a place where I could get my ears pierced quickly and correctly with little discomfort. I wish I had read the reviews before I went there. Two teen agers, seemingly competent, though, stood on either side of me with piercing guns. The girl counted to three with the intent that they would both gun at the same time, getting the painful part over at once. The boy pressed the piercing gun confidently; the girl hesitated, and the post did not go all the way through. She pressed the gun again, without completely taking out the post and re inserting it. It seemed at the time that no damage was done, but the post was only barely in, and for the whole healing process, the earring was hanging loosely. When the six week healing period was over, I had a dreadful time getting the post out of the ear lobe which had developed some apparent sensitive scar tissue around the hole. I now have one normal ear lobe, and one that is too narrow and shallow and swollen to get another post into it. My ear lobe may be permanently disfigured with the scar tissue. It is not horrifically noticeable; however it is useless. I will never, ever try to get my ears pierced again. They now make clip on earrings that are nice, and padded so that they are comfortable to wear. I will go that route. There needs to be some kind of regulation appropriate for ear piercing. If this happens to a little girl, it might be quite upsetting. Two teen agers with piercing guns is not ideal.
I have been shopping at Claire's for years and even
I have been shopping at Claire's for years and even got my ears pierced there. The customer service is really very good. However, some of their products are extremely low-quality. I would stay away from stud earrings if I were you as many pairs I have bought from Claire's have broken.

Study before going here
So I got my ear pierced for my birthday a few months back almost a year and when I went to go get the air pierced, we asked what the safest metal is because I am allergic to certain metals they told us it's like a silver metal I forget which one but like it's pretty it was pretty expensive And after picking which one I want, they went to pierce my ear. They did not pierce in the correct spot. They showed me they used the piercing gun, which is not recommended for professional piercings because it causes trauma to the ear, and then when they were finished The employees there told me to make sure to rotate the earring. Now and again I didn't research beforehand, so I did what they said looking at it now I did my research because for some reason I could not make the earring go back in even though I just took it out for a few minutes to clean, and turns out you're not supposed to rotate the earring because it agitates the healing skin, which makes it scar and heal slower. There's also the fact that good earrings or any piercing will not allow the skin to stick to it as the skin will heal around it won't heal. You know like through it and be stuck. Overall do research. I mean the people there were pretty nice but they just it was not that good of a place I probably could've gotten it better somewhere else for cheaper.
Only because of Jackson Wang
I'm only leaving this because you were playing Jackson Wang. You guys play bad music but at least you played 100 ways by Jackson Wang.
Good store but sometimes employees are rude
So basically I walked into Claire's with my mom 2 hours before they were supposed to close. As soon as we walked in, the employee said she had no coverage and that the store was closing early. Me and my mom didn't have any notice about this, and if she had something important to do I completely understand, but she was kinda rude about it. I had been waiting all day to buy a friendship necklace for me and my friend. Good store, but employees are sometimes rude.
Great service,outer banks,Yolanda!
Ears pierced, she was the only one working, took her time! Waited on us and pierced 3 others!
Love the service!
LOVE PLushies!
Claire's handles PLushies. They are wonderful little soft, furry friends that have a special one for each month. Kids and adults, both, love them!

I used to work for claires
I used to work at our local claires and even if this review seems biased it is truthful. The company takes everything very seriously and professionally. Making customers happy is very very important. They make sure all employees are properly trained with piercing ears and are very sanitized.
Claire's Stores Review: Terrible Shipping and Customer Service Experience
I been a customer of Claire's Stores (claires.com) for years, but I have to say my most recent experience was not good at all. I ordered 2 things to be shipped to the store and they said it would arrive in 3 to 7 days. I got a confirmation for my order, but after that, I didn't receive any updates.
I waited and waited, but nothing came. I emailed them and spoke with a lady named Samantha, but she wasn't much help. She just told me to be patient and that the orders couldn't be tracked. I waited even longer and then decided to call the store where it was supposed to be shipped. Unfortunately, they had no record of me, my orders or any information about it. I was starting to feel hopeless.
Then, I called customer service and they were not any help either. They said they couldn't track or cancel my orders even though they shipped it to their own store! It felt like they were sending me in circles! Finally, I decided to email Samantha again for the latest update. But this time, she only told me to call customer service again- what a nightmare.
It's been such an awful experience, I feel like I'm still out $85 and I'll never see my items. I'm incredibly frustrated with this company right now, and I don't think I want to shop at Claire's Stores again. I'll probably give my money to Amazon or some other online store that has better shipping policies and customer service.
Overall, my experience with Claire's Stores was frustrating, to say the least. The communication between them and the customers was non-existent, and their customer service was terrible. I would recommend shopping elsewhere to anyone looking for a good online shopping experience.
Claire's: High Prices, Terrible Quality - A Parent's Honest Review
Claire's is one store that my daughter just can't get enough of and I have to admit that sometimes I can't stand it. We go there often and with the new kiosks that they have inside grocery stores, I guarantee that we will be visiting even more often! Their prices are pretty steep if you ask me, but I don't mind spending if I'm getting my money's worth. However, the problem I have with Claire's is that the quality of their products is just terrible.
I recently purchased two pretty fuzzy backpacks that cost me $49 each, but to my disappointment, one of them had a hole within one week and the other had a hole after just two weeks. Now that's just pure waste of my hard-earned cash! I also picked up a pack of three earrings for $20, but unfortunately, two of them broke within days. My daughter did try and wear them mismatched but it didn't look very good, to be honest. That being said, I have to give Claire's some credit because they do have a wide variety of products available.
But wait, there's more. In the past month, I have bought a total of three water bottles, and every single one of them has broken in some way or another. The bottom of the first one fell off, the straw of the second one snapped, and the lid of the third one was misaligned. On top of all that, we have accumulated years of necklaces, bracelets, and rings from Claire's, but none of them can be worn because they are all broken.
For a big name in the trendy jewelry industry like Claire's, they really need to step up their game with quality control. Sure, they charge high prices, but I wish they would use quality items for their products, so my daughter doesn't end up with disappointment. I bet other parents out there must feel the same way as I do. So Claire's, it's high time you buck up and stop ripping off little girls - charge the prices you do, but fix the issues with the quality of your products!
Claire's Online Store Customer Service Review: A Frustrating Experience
So, like half a year ago I was shopping online with my mom on the infamous Black Friday on Claire's website. You know, the store that's like a candy store but for accessories. We were all excited to get our hands on some cool stuff and we did, we picked out five groovy items. But, dang it! When we were about to check out some weird error message popped up on the screen saying we couldn't place the order. But, like, why? We didn't know! We called up their customer service number thinking they would, you know, help us out but nah. The worker on the other end of the line was just like, "Uh, I don't know what that error is." Bummer, right?! So, we told them to just like order it for us. But, darn it! They didn't even get our email or order right even though we kept telling them over and over. Like, how hard can that be? We called back because obviously it was wrong and what did they do? They just hung up on us! Their customer service is pretty rotten, if you ask me. Now let's fast forward, or like go into the future, it's been almost five months and our order hasn't even appeared at our doorstep! Like where is it at, Claire's? Geez, we only spent $30 but still it's like they scammed us! My solid advice to you is to just avoid their online store and buy your fave items in-person. And also, they don't take Discover cards, even though they probably should. Word of warning, guys. Anyway, thanks for reading my rant!
Disappointing Experience with Claire's Online Ordering - Overpriced and Poor Customer Service
Hey y'all! So, I wanted to share my experience with Claire's Stores (claires.com), and let me tell you, it was not great.
I placed an order online and was super disappointed that the final price was not displayed during checkout. Like, how am I supposed to know what I'm paying for? I only found out the final price when I got a confirmation email from PayPal. And let me just say, the items were WAY overpriced. I mean, with the shipping cost added in, it was just not worth it.
So, I immediately emailed Claire's to cancel my order. But guess what? I didn't hear back from them for TWO whole days. And when I finally heard back, it was just to say that they had already shipped the items. Like, what's the point of having a cancel option if you're not gonna do it in a timely manner?
When I received the items in the mail, I was so disappointed that I marked them as refused and sent them back via USPS. But guess what? Claire's is saying that they haven't received the items back yet. I mean, it's been 15 days since I've been trying to get this sorted out.
And to make matters worse, my order never even appeared in the order history of my account on their website. It's like it never even happened. Totally weird.
Overall, I would not recommend ordering from Claire's online. It's just not worth the headache and hassle.
Claire's Refusal to Honor Return Policy: A Disappointing Experience
So, we decided to give Claires.com a shot and made an online purchase. But, before placing the order, we did a quick check on their refund/return policy just to make sure everything was crystal clear.
According to the policy, we could easily return the items either to a nearby Claire's store or through mail. Simple, right? But, things did not go as planned and here is why.
Unfortunately, the item we ordered did not meet our expectations, so we decided to return it to the local Claire's store at the Towne Square Mall in Owensboro, KY. But, guess what? The store manager refused to accept the return, stating that they did not stock the item there. Wow, we were definitely taken aback by this response.
Nowhere on our receipt did it mention that the return policy was limited to only the items which the store had in stock. Honestly, we expected better from Claire's since they are a well-known brand.
We firmly believe that this should have been a process that the stores and the website worked out together. Instead, we were left with no other option but to mail back the item at our own expense. This was quite disappointing and totally inconvenient.
When we contacted the Claire's customer support team, we expected some kind of response. We simply asked for a prepaid return label since we had already made a trip to the local store and the return policy was not honored. But, alas, we never received any reply from them.
To sum up, because of the bad experience, we have decided never to shop with Claire's online or in-store ever again. We hope they will take customer feedback seriously and work on their refund/return policy so that such incidents are not repeated in the future.
Terrible Experience with Claire's Customer Service and Delivery
So, I was hyped up to order some stuff from Claire's Stores (claires.com) for my daughter, and I mean I was really excited, y'know. But boy, oh boy, I had the worst experience dealing with the website and their customer service. I mean, I ordered some stuff on the 19th and paid extra for 3-7 business days delivery, but as of today (31st), I still don't have my package. Can you believe that? That's two weeks!
So I called the online customer service number and the representative told me that my package would be arriving "tomorrow" according to the tracking information. And can you guess what happened? Two days later, still no package! That's right, nothing! So, I grudgingly called again, and the representative told me that it was my job as the "sutimer" (he meant customer) to contact FedEx and inquire about the delivery time and where the package is. Are you kidding me? I was dumbfounded, to say the least.
I asked to speak with a supervisor, but they refused to transfer me. They told me that someone would email me back after 24 business hours. Can you imagine? They couldn't provide me with a reasonable resolution or make this right. I mean, my daughter was so excited to receive her package that she was crushed when she found out that it wouldn't be delivered on time. And to add insult to injury, nobody was willing to help me resolve this today. Can somebody say frustrating?
So, we are now waiting for an email from the "escalations department." Whatever that means. Worst customer service experience ever! I would expect better from a company as big as Claire's. But wait, there's more. It's now September 5th, and I still have neither package nor refund. I mean, what in tarnation is going on? I'm at my wits end, folks!
Poor Service and Rude Employees at Claire's Stores: A Review
Today I went to Claire's Stores with my daughter to get her ears pierced. We were excited and happy, until the lady who was supposed to do the piercing started being rude and mean to us. She was chatting with customers who were not waiting like we were, and seemed to be enjoying her time off rather than attending to her duties. When she finally came to us, she made the mark for the piercing too low, and when I kindly asked her to make it higher, she stared at me and didn't do as I requested.
After the piercing was done, we went to the cashier to pay, and a girl named Nik was there. She had a label on her chest with her name and asked to be called he/him. Nik was very pushy with me to make me buy more merchandise, and I didn't appreciate that. However, we paid and left the store.
Later, my daughter realized she had missed a pair of earrings she wanted to buy, so we went back inside. The same piercing lady and Nik were there, and they were very annoying to us. When it was my turn to pay again, the piercing lady accused me of not paying for the piercing, which was not true. I had the receipt from before, and Nik didn't say anything to contradict her. We joked about it, and everything was fine, but I still didn't like the bad service we received.
Other days when we visited Claire's Stores, the service was just okay. However, this last time was awful. I hope the store makes some changes and improve their customer service for the future.
Mixed Experience at Claire's Store: Average Quality Earrings & Inconsistent Service
I went to Claire's Store in Lime Ridge with some cash in my pocket, planning to take advantage of their buy 3 get 3 free "sale" on hoop piercings. The store was pretty packed, but after a few minutes of searching, I managed to find six pairs of hoop earrings that I liked. I headed to the register to pay up and was told my total was 65 dollars. I was a little confused because I thought the sale was supposed to bring my total down, not up! But then the cashier explained to me that they ring up the most expensive items when you buy 6 items, so that's why there was still a difference. The cashier's name was Emma if I remember correctly and she did her job just fine.
But since I only had 40 dollars with me, I had to put back some of the more expensive items and only ended up getting three pairs of earrings instead of six. I was a little bummed, but I understood how the sale worked. Fast forward a few minutes later, and I decided to return the earrings I had bought. The girl working at the counter asked for my email, even though I had not previously signed up for anything before that. When I asked why she needed my email, she just said it would make things easier or something like that. So, I gave her my email because I didn't want to cause any trouble, and she asked for my card.
I mentioned that I had paid with cash, but the girl just rolled her eyes at me as if I was being silly. She walked away without saying a word to any other employee for a minute and returned to give me my money back. Even though her behavior was not the best, I didn't let it get to me. What really bothered me, though, was how the earrings looked. They were all of poor quality, and when I compared them to some other earrings I had bought elsewhere, the difference was clear.
The girl that returned my money was named Arianna, a skinny, dirty blonde with a bit of a snappy attitude. She had what I can only describe as resting b*** face. I didn't appreciate her eye-rolling and general lack of empathy towards me. All I wanted was to return some poorly made earrings!
All in all, my experience at Claire's was average. The cashier was excellent, but the girl who took care of my returns was not. Plus, the earrings were not even worth buying if they were going to fall apart or look cheap. It wouldn't take much effort for them to improve the quality of their products. I wouldn't recommend Claire's if you're looking for long-lasting accessories, but if you're not overly picky, it could be worth a shot.
Claire's Stores: Disappointing Experience with Unprofessional Employees and Parental Rights Disregard
If I could give Claire's Stores zero stars, I would because they caused me and my daughters so much trouble. So, here's my experience: I took my daughters, ages 9 and 8, to have their ears pierced at Claire's. I know as the parent, it's my responsibility, and I was excited to share this moment with them. However, to my horror, someone claimed to be their legal guardian and signed the waivers, without any legal document proof. As a mother, this broke my heart. I contacted the district manager, Michelle Plant, and she initially seemed understanding and promised to help. But it was all a phony act! She gave me the run around despite my requests for waivers signed by someone who isn't the children's legal parent or guardian. She even promised to contact the corporate office to help me sort out the mess, but I didn't hear from anyone even after three whole days.
I decided to reach out to the Claire's corporate office myself but kept hitting a dead end each time I called through their dial by name directory. Despite the frustrations, I kept trying until a week later when a lady called me back, but she was outright rude and unhelpful. All she did was tell me that the waivers were the property of Claire's and that they wouldn't release them to me. In case you ever find yourself in such an awful situation with Claire's, don't count on their help or sympathy because they don't give a damn. Their only worry is getting their piercings paid for.
I was disappointed that I couldn't get the second waiver, and the situation ended up in a mess. When the district manager, Michelle Plant, reported to the store, the waiver went missing. Luckily, I was able to get one copy of a waiver, which will help me take the necessary measures against someone who forged the signature and stole from me my right to be there when my daughters got their ears pierced.
Overall, it was a bad experience with unprofessional employees who play fast and loose with the law. For a business that specializes in piercing, one would expect them to be more respectful of the law and their customers' parenthood rights.
The Deceptive Practices of Claire's: A Review of their Ear Piercing Services and Products
Claire's is a store that offers free ear piercing with the purchase of earrings. So, I decided to check it out and see what kind of deal I could score. As I walked into the store, I noticed that Claire's had precious metal earrings for $9 with ear piercing. The young woman employee greeted me and asked if I needed any assistance. I told her that I was there for my granddaughter, who wanted a second ear piercing. The woman showed me the variety of earrings that were offered for piercings. I was curious about the least expensive option, so I asked her to show me. She pointed at the 3mm Stainless Steel Ball earrings and quoted a price of $36.99. She quickly said, "She can take it out in three weeks." I checked their website and saw that they offered the earrings at the same price. I inquired about the price of the stainless steel ball earrings, as it seemed too high. The saleswoman replied that she had no idea. I laughed and said that it didn't seem like free piercing. She said, "The piercing is free. It's the metal that you pay for." As I was leaving, she stated, "It's expensive because of the solution that you get, which costs $20, and you have to get it." I was surprised and asked, "You must get it?" She said, "New York State law mandates that I give you a solution." I recorded our discussion since it is legal in New York state.
After reaching home, I decided to research New York State's ear piercing law and found the 'Body Art - Tattooing and Body Piercing' page, which did not mention any cleaning solution. The page states that the piercer must wash their hands before piercing, use single-use gloves, clean the area to be pierced, use sterile needles, provide single-use disposable razors, clamps, receiving tubes and body jewelry and provide aftercare information. I decided to contact the New York State Department of Health for more information. The response I received stated that NYS law does not require an ear piercing studio to provide customers with a solution. The email added that the department cannot provide recommendations or offer medical advice.
Claire's website shows a 3 mm sterling silver earring for just $4.99, but they still offer a variety of precious metal earrings for $9.00 with ear piercing. So, the cost ranges from $36.99 to $231.99, depending on the earrings selected. Claire's also offers a $20 Rapid 3 Week After Care Cleanser' and 'Claire's Ear Care Solution' for $8.
I compared the Claire's online ear piercing kits offer with separate earrings on their inventory. They don't sell any solid gold or diamond earrings except in the kits that have 24k gold-plated earrings. The separate earrings are 18k gold plated. Additionally, they make an effort to sell different earrings in kits than separately so customers can't compare the prices. However, some titanium earrings are available in the kits and separately for different rates. Claire's also uses the 'Claire's Exclusives' display to deceive customers. Their unicorn and glitter earrings are available separately, ranging from $2.49 to $6.49, while the kit ranges from $36.99 to $231.99, so customers aren't getting a better deal.
Lastly, a 7-year-old girl had her ears pierced at Claire's, and her mother used the Rapid After Care Cleanser. The issues started a week later, and infections developed. The mother said that Claire's advertising claims that their clean-routine is dermatologist and pediatrician tested. When the daughter's ears were infected, the mother took the girl to the hospital. A piercing generally takes around 6 weeks to heal, and if the wound were healed in three weeks, replacing the Claire's earrings with another pair did not cause the infection. My daughter suggested Sally's, which has many self-piercing guns with the earrings included. I bought mine for $7 and had my daughter pierce my ears. I cleaned with alcohol for six weeks and have almost healed.
Overall, as someone who knows a lot about jewelry and its elements, I believe that Claire's fraudulent practices are evident. Claire's charges customers more for its free ear piercing, and the price depends on the selected metal and cleaning solution. Customers must file complaints to have clarity, and it is authentic that their ear piercing is not free.
Claire's Stores Complaints 14
Horrible!
I live in New York, and my daughter lives in Cincinnati Ohio. I specifically bought nose rings from Claire's in a place that she could exchange them. I specifically asked because it's body jewelry. Would you be able to exchange them if they were the wrong size and was told as long as they are unopened she would be able to exchange. When my daughter went to exchange them at the Tri-County location in Cincinnati Ohio, she found a note on the door that they were on break. 15 minutes later, someone unlock the door, and she went in. The girl was on FaceTime chuckling with her friends. She asked the girl Coochie exchange them and was told no she hung up with that person then FaceTime what supposedly was her boss and was told no that she couldn't exchange them. My daughter looked up the return policy on Claire's website and lo and behold. It was what I was told as long as it was an open an exchange would be possible. The girls still would not exchange them and was extremely rude. My daughter called the 800 number for Claire's I was told that she would get a phone call back. Days later after no return phone call she emailed and was told that she needed to call. It's not so much wasting money on nose rings that she can't wear now is the principle. I understand that it's hard to find good help but all the way at the top they can't even return a phone call? Or stand by their return policy? All they could do is give people a run around?
Claire's Is Worse Than a Scam--They Can Also Be Bad for Your Health
Claire's offers free ear piercing with the purchase of earrings. So, I went to a Claire's to see what type of deal I could get. As I entered the store, I saw that Claire's had precious metal earrings for $9 with ear piercing. The young woman employee asked if she could help me. I told her that my granddaughter wanted a second ear piercing. The woman led me to the earrings that were offered for piercings. I asked her which earrings were the least expensive. She pointed to the 3mm Stainless Steel Ball earrings and told me that it would be $36.99. She quickly added "She can take it out in three weeks". If you go to 'Claire's Ear Piercing Kits' online, you will see them offered at this price. I then asked her "why is it so expensive for a little stainless steel ball?" She told me that she didn't know. I laughed and said that didn't sound like free piercing to me. She continued "The piercing is free. It's the metal that you pay for." As I started to leave, she said "It's expensive because of the solution that you get is $20 and you have to get it." I asked "You have to get it?" Her reply was "New York State law mandates that I have to give you a solution." Of course, I was recording our conversation which I have the legal right to do in New York State.
When I got home, I Googled New York State law ear piercing and was brought to the New York State Department of Health 'Body Art - Tattooing and Body Piercing' which made no mention of cleaning solution. It stated to ensure that the piercer Washes their hands before piercing and uses single-use gloves, Cleans the area to be pierced, Uses a single-use, disposable razor to shave the skin to be pierced, if needed, Uses sterile needles, clamps, receiving tubes and body jewelry, Provides aftercare information. My next step was to contact the New York State Department of Health at the phone number that they provided at the bottom of the page.
I saw nothing mandating ear piercers to give a solution. So, I contacted the New York State Department of Health by email. The reply that I received stated "NYS law does not mandate that an ear piercing business give you a "solution I cannot recommend what you use for aftercare, because I am not a licensed medical provider. There is no law stating that you must purchase ear care solution. You can lodge a complaint with the NYS Attorney General if you feel their practice is fraud". Yes, I will be lodging a complaint with the Attorney General. I would advise anyone else who goes to Claire's and is told the same thing to file a complaint with Attorney General. As was stated by the Health Department employee, who is a Sanitarian, this is fraud.
A little addtional information. If you go to the Claire's website, you can find 3 mm sterling silver earrings for $4.99. They will show you at the top of their page that you can purchase $9 precious metal earrings. Of course, this means that you are required to spend from $36.99 to $231.99. Depending which earrings your choose, to have your ears pierced at Claire's. On their website, Claire's shows that he solution is $20 for the 'Ear Piercing Rapid 3 Week After Care Cleanser' but they also carry 'Claire's Ear Care Solution' for $8.
I did some research on the Claire's website to compare what they offered for earrings in their ear piercing kits vs. what you can buy if you just want to buy earrings. Claire's corporate is pretty smart. They don't offer any stainless steel earrings except for with the ear piercing kits. They also don't offer any solid gold earrings except with the kits. They don't sell diamond earrings except with the kits. The kits have 24k gold plated earrings while the separate earrings are 18k gold plated. They have attempted ensure that customers can't compare the kit earring prices to the earrings offered without piercing. So, we are talking apples to oranges. They can get away with it, right? Well, no they can't. Did I happen to mention that I know a lot about jewelry. I have operated a jewelry website, created my own pieces, and I am a member of the Gemological Institute of America. I know gems and I know metals.
So, let's consider a few things. Sterling silver is a precious metal. Stainless steel is not. Stainless steel is less expensive than sterling silver. Easy to understand, right? So, if they can sell 3 mm sterling silver ball stud earrings for $4.99, they could sell stainless steel 3 mm ball stud earrings for less than $4.99. We are back to the question of why free ear piercing costs $36.99 for 3 mm stainless steel ball studs but sterling silver ball studs are $4.99. Hum. Yes, this is fraudulent. Their ear piercing is not free.
Also, I made a few other comparisons. Although Claires makes a major effort to sell different types of earrings in the kits than as separates to deceive consumers, there were a few things that I could find.
They did offer titanium earrings in the kits and separately at different prices. In fact, the kit earrings should be less expensive than the separate titanium earrings because the kit earrings are a choice of an unidentifiable composite material or a crystal stone. The separate titanium earrings are all cubic zirconia which is more expensive. Their kit staineless steel crystal earrings are more expensive than their separate sterling silver crystal earrings--I ensured that I chose tinted crystal so there is not confusion in the comparison.
Then, there are the 'Claire's Exclusives' earrings at the top of the ear piercing kits page. These are 'Unicorn With Stainless Steel Post' and 'Make a Wish Blue Glitter Star With Stainless Steel Post'. So, I studied their unicorn earrings and their glitter earrings not offered as kit items. I found several unicorn earrings ranging from $3.49 to $6.49. The $6.49 was for the sterling silver earrings. There were glitter earrings for as low as $2.49. The posts appear to be stainless steel but I can't be certain without careful analysis. Maybe I will buy a pair and bring them home to determine whether the posts are stainless steel.
Did I happen to mention that I know a lot about jewelry. I have operated a jewelry website, created my own pieces, and I am a member of the Gemological Institute of America. Do fraudulent companies like Claire's really believe that not one person will ever have the capability to see that they are fraudulent?
One last thing. Let's talk about Claire's and your health. According to People Magazine, a 7-year old girl had her ears pierced at Claire's. Then, her mother used the Rapid After Care Cleanser on her daughter's ears as she was instructed. Claire's states on their site "dermatologist- and pediatrician-tested." "After three weeks, the girl's piercings looked healed. So, the mother removed the earrings and changed to another pair of earrings. One week later, the daughter's ears were infected to the point that, on a nurse's advice, the mother took the girl to the hospital. The mother stated that a piercing is a wound which requires six weeks to heal. Claire's might try to state that the earrings that the mother replaced the Claire's earrings with caused the infection. There is just one problem with this. If the ear piercing could heal in 3 weeks, the healed ears would not become infected with a different pair of earrings.
When I told my daughter about this, she told me to go to Sally's where they have numerous types of self piercing guns which include the earrings. I bought mine for $7 and had my daughter pierce my ears. Then I used alcohol to care for my new piercings. I'm almost healed and it has only been five days. I did change to another pair of earrings but I will continue to use alcohol for six weeks to be sure that they are healed.
Anybody up for a class action lawsuit?
Their return policy on Body Jewelry
Both the wrong size body jewelry and I took it back to the store for an exchange and a refund- packages are unopened. The receipt states that the merchandise can be returned if it’s not been used and if it’s unopened. I thought the merchandise would qualify for the return. The store associate states that they can’t take the merchandise back because it’s body jewelry? NO WHERE ON THE RECEIPT DOES IT STATE THAT THE ITEM CANT BE RETURNED IF ITS BODY JEWELRY. I mentioned that to the sales individual and I keep getting the same response. I request the number to corporate and I have been attempting to get a hold of corporate for the last three days with no luck… I wish they would take their product back and give me my money back or actually put the disclaimer on the receipt so people know before they purchase [censored]ty jewelry. I sent an email and left several messages with no reply or call back.
Claimed loss: $40
Desired outcome: I would like my money back, first I wanted an exchange to the right guard, now I would just like my funds back.

Disappointing Online Service
I ordered some items at the beginning of the year, and never received them. I do live in Croatia and the reason I did not recieve my order was, that nobody was home when they wanted to deliver the requested items, so they were send back to the UK immediately! But there was no notification or anything, I only found out cause I wrote to customer service. And there was no option for a second attemp.
A month ago I ordered again a few items. This time I requested to send them to my parents adresse in Germany, cause they are home most of the time. After contacting customer service, cause again it takes quite sometime until the package arrives, they told me to be patient and wait a bit longer. Well, my kids birthday is coming up soon , so I wrote again (after waiting for a total of 11 working days), and guess what, it seems like my package is lost! This is just ridiculous!
Desired outcome: I would really like to recieve those ordered items. My order is in their system, look it up and send it agai!
Disappointing Shipping Experience with Claire's Stores - Avoid Ordering Online!
Claire's Stores is a total fail when it comes to shipping. The delivery time they give you is not even correct, 'cuz they don't even consider the 4 whole days that they sit on your order before it even leaves their warehouse! And if you call up customer support, they don't do a thing to help you out. They're totally unhelpful! I don't know what's wrong with these people, but my first and last order with them has just been a disaster.
Terrible Online Shopping Experience with Claire's Stores: 22 Days and Still Waiting for My Order
I'm so disappointed with Claire's Stores (claires.com). I placed an online order on February 1st, 2021, and it was shipped on February 2nd, 2021. Today, on February 24th, 2021, I still haven't received my order. How frustrating is that?
I have never experienced such a delayed delivery. I wouldn't have been so bothered if it was just a day or two, but this is ridiculous. It's been 22 days since my order shipped, and I'm still waiting for my package to arrive.
I'm going to give Claire's Stores one star because I'm angry. I will never order anything from this place again. They've lost my trust and business for good. I'm even going to call the Better Business Bureau to express my dissatisfaction.
I think it's shameful that Claire's Stores can't fulfill their customers' online orders. This isn't how to run a business. I hope other people who consider shopping from Claire's Stores learn from my experience and think twice before placing an order online.
Terrible Service: My Disappointing Experience with Claire's Stores
So I tried to order some cool stuff from Claire's Stores. Man, was that a mistake! The service was just straight-up terrible. I mean, I don't want to be mean, but it was really bad. I wouldn't recommend shopping at Claire's to anyone.
The problems started when I tried to track my shipment. I kept getting told to wait, but no one could find it. I sent them all the details and proof, but they just kept sending me the same email over and over. It was so frustrating!
I decided to give up on trying to get my shipment and just go to the store instead. That was an even bigger mistake! The staff there were so unfriendly and unhelpful. They barely acknowledged me when I walked in and acted like I was bothering them when I asked for help finding something.
Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience at Claire's Stores. The service was terrible and I won't be going back there again.
Mixed Feelings on Claire's: Great Service, but Cheaply Made Earrings
So, I've been going to Claire's for a long time now, and I gotta say, they're pretty solid in the service department. I actually decided to get my ears pierced there, and it was a good experience overall. But, truth be told, I've come across a few products that are kinda cheaply made. Like, seriously, some of those stud earrings have snapped on me in no time. Not cool. Just a heads up if you're looking to buy some earrings.
Claire's Ear Piercing Experience: Pricey and Painful
Okay, so I popped in Claire's Stores to get my ears pierced and I gotta say, not the best experience. The lady who did it, she was nice and all, but she was maybe not the most gentle. She like, accidentally pierced my earring onto my mask and my hair! Can you believe it? I had to rip both my mask out and my hair out and it hurt like heck. Plus, it cost me a pretty penny - $80! I mean, I didn't get the good ear solution or nothing. Kinda wish I had just gone to a regular old piercer - bet it woulda been cheaper and better done. Honestly, I don't think I'd go back to Claire's again to get my ears pierced.
Disappointing Service: A Review of Claire's Stores Online Shop (claires.com)
I wanted to share my experience with Claire's Stores (claires.com). I ordered a bunch of goodies from them over a month ago and it's been a total bummer that my items have yet to arrive. I reached out to their Customer Service team three separate times through email, but I haven't heard a thing back from them. I also attempted to call them up, but I was put on hold for over 50 minutes before getting disconnected.
Honestly, I've never been more frustrated with a Customer Service experience in a loooong time. I definitely wouldn't recommend using this online shop, even though I was really excited about what I ended up ordering.
Terrible Online Shopping Experience with Claire's Stores: Poor Customer Service and Late Delivery
I had a really bad online shopping experience with Claire's Stores. I placed an order on December 2, but it's now December 17 – that's a full 15 days later – and my items haven't arrived yet. I tried getting in touch with them via email several times, but they weren't able to tell me where my shipment was, and just told me to keep waiting. It's been an absolute nightmare!
I have to say, the customer service at Claire's Stores is really poor. I would rate it zero stars if I could. I tried calling them on the phone, but the service was even worse than the email support – it was totally unreliable.
At this point, I don't think I'll ever order from Claire's again. And the worst part is that my daughter was really looking forward to her Christmas presents from them. But now I don't think they'll arrive in time, which is really disappointing.
Overall, I would say that Claire's Stores is a bit of a scam. I'd definitely recommend that you stay away if you want reliable, timely shipping and good customer service.
Avoid the Painful Mistake of Choosing Claire's Stores for Piercings & Customer Service
So, I picked Claire's Stores (claires.com) to get my ear pierced. Boy, was that a mistake. First off, let me tell you - the clamp got stuck in my ear with the earrings that were used for piercing. Ouchie! I experienced a lot of pain when they had to use pliers to break everything apart. You know, I thought it was all over, but no that's not the worst part. The earrings managed to rip my earlobe apart. Can you believe that? Yeah, it wasn't the best experience.
Now, I was advised to call their customer service number to see what I should do, but my oh my was that a disaster. I dialed that number several times, yet I couldn't get anyone on the phone. I even left multiple messages, but I didn't ever hear back from them. This is unacceptable, and I'm still upset about it now.
Overall, I won't be returning to Claire's. I advise everyone else to be cautious when choosing this shop. They did a terrible job with my piercing and didn't even have the courtesy to respond to my inquiry. It's best to stay away and find somewhere else to go.
Beware of Claire's Fake Nails - A Disappointing Experience in Store
I recently stopped by Claire's to get myself a second earlobe piercing. It was gonna be a birthday present as I've always wanted to rock two piercings on one ear. Everything seemed alright till one morning I woke up to find out that my newly healed piercing was bleeding. I panicked and immediately went back to the store hoping they'd provide some help. Unfortunately, the lady who initially pierced my ear was exceptionally rude and showed no concern for my bleeding ear. She refused to help me in any way despite promising me earlier. Needless to say, I left the store incredibly disappointed and frustrated.
However, I decided to give the store another chance. After all, it was my birthday present and I loved the idea of rocking two ear piercings. I browsed and stumbled upon some trendy fake nails I just couldn't resist. They seemed pretty easy to stick on and looked amazing. I spent more than I should have to buy them but it seemed like a small price to pay for how cute they looked. I put them on and was ready to slay my day.
But what happened next left me feeling angry and annoyed. In just a couple of hours, the nails started falling off. I was so disappointed. I mean, they weren't supposed to come off that quickly, were they? I couldn't think of anything else other than how I essentially wasted my money on such a crappy product.
So if you are thinking of paying a visit to Claire's, my advice to you would be to not get fake nails from there. Although I've had terrible experiences with their piercing services, maybe others have found them to be better. But I can undoubtedly say that their fake nails are a complete no-go.
Disappointing Ear Piercing Experience at Claire's in Las Vegas: A Personal Review
So, I recently went to Claire's at 7991 W Tropical Pkwy, Las Vegas. The main thing I wanted to do was to get my ears pierced. I walked in and saw that the lady who was there was the only employee working at the store. She had a mask on, which is understandable because of the pandemic, but it's been almost three days since Governor Sisolak suspended the mask mandate.
Anyway, the woman basically informed me that she could pierce my ears but that we both would have to wear a mask. I personally didn't think it was necessary, especially because she was wearing one of those surgical masks that are clearly stated on the box that they don't protect against the Covid virus. I know everyone has their preferences, but it just didn't feel right to me.
Ultimately, it is her right to ask me to wear a mask, but it is also my right to refuse. So, I just said "okay, bye" and left. I didn't want to spend my money in a store where I didn't feel comfortable.
I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed with my experience at Claire's. I had always heard some good things from my friends, but this particular visit didn't do much for me. I guess I'll just have to look for another place to get my ears pierced!
