I got kicked out of my apartment on July 31. There was a bug problem, but it wasn't my fault. Then they sent me a bill in the mail saying I owed 2 months' rent and other stuff, totaling over $1500. I think I should only owe the water bill. The place has garbage all over, holes in the ceilings, and the air conditioners are a mess. Dogs leave a mess everywhere. They should be fined for all of this.

I was told when I left I was fine. They changed everything after I left and this amount of money came out of nowhere. No one can tell me why I was charged this. They got mad we moved early cause they literally had bed bugs crawling out of holes in the wall. I threw all my furniture away and all. Then months later they tried to say I owed them but no one can say for what. Maintenance did walk thru with me and one bag of garbage was left, he told me to leave it and he would get it. They are rude and don't care what the apartment complex has said or done. They stay in corporate office and don't check anything for themselves.

This place only cares about gettin' yer money! When we moved in, the bathrooms and kitchen had unsanded spackle. The bathtub was cracked. The walls had bubbles in 'em and we noted these on the move in check list in June. By October, after multiple phone calls, they finally decided to "fix" things. The bathtub was not set properly and now they wanna cut a hole in the bedroom wall to lay mortar to try and again fix the bathtub. Clearly, this will prevent us from gettin' our quiet enjoyment of the premises. This place claims to be pet friendly and it is if ya don't mind steppin' over dog poop. People allow their dogs to run off leash and they get mad when ya ask 'em to control their dogs!

I found out that Karen G hasn't used the Building Department for a long time at *** apts. and *** town homes. It's been like 18 years or so. The dust and mold in these places have made me sick. I had to go to the doctor because of Hypersensitive pneumonitis. The furnace was put in all wrong, and I showed the *** County Building dept. with pictures. They didn't even have to come in to see it. It couldn't pass inspection! I had to contact the Ohio attorney generals office and the Leutenant Governors office too. I have a video of Karen yelling at me because I wanted basic living conditions fixed. The toilets leak, there's mold, and water in the ducts that can let RADON in. The carpet tacks hurt our feet a lot, and we're both disabled and have trouble walking.

We had lots of problems like mold in our bathroom, neighbors smoking weed in the common areas, people peeking through our windows, neighbors yelling after quiet time, and making loud noises all night long. Maintenance takes forever to fix our stuff, and it's hard to get ahold of the apartment people. Last night was the worst. My boyfriend was doing laundry and when he went to get my clothes from the dryer, they were all torn up and gone. And someone even used our laundry basket as a toilet. We told the managers, but they said they can't do nothing about the other tenants and told us to call our insurance. We don't feel safe no more in our own home.

I rented an office space from CMC and after some problems with the property manager lying to me, they gave me eviction notices to leave the place. We talked a lot about ending the lease. But CMC lied to me and tricked me, and then they renewed the lease even though we told them many times that we didn't want to. That's fraud and deceit, and now they're telling credit agencies about a lease that is totally not valid. Brian T was the leasing agent and he's a total fraud and liar. They didn't even give me keys to the building, and the "landlord" knew we wanted to leave. We even moved out of the whole office 5 months before the lease was supposed to end. They gave us an eviction notice in September and we stopped talking because it was clear the lease was over in November .

On 2/10/2022, water started leaking from my kid's bedroom ceiling. I called the emergency line to report the issue. The water was dripping onto my son's toys and furniture. I gave them my info and ended the call. Nobody came, so I called again. They said I was a "***" for hanging up before they were ready because they claimed they needed more info. Apparently, my name, phone number, and address weren't sufficient. After being called a ***, I hung up. Surprisingly, someone arrived at my door about 20 minutes later to check the leak. The super went on the roof and broke the ice dam causing the water backup. They said they'd return the next day to inspect the water damage and prevent mold growth. My son couldn't sleep in his room. The next day, there was a note on my door from the property manager threatening eviction for using "profound language" and telling me to stop all activity immediately. Despite the note, nobody came to assess the ceiling/drywall condition after breaking the ice dam. I'm worried about the sagging ceiling, so my son still can't sleep in his room.

I told them I wanna leave my apartment 'cause there's mice everywhere, and now they want me to pay for another month 'cause they got this dumb 60-day notice rule. It's so unfair! I can't live in a place infested with mice, but they don't care. They haven't been able to get rid of them, and they don't even know why they keep coming in. The traps they used didn't work, so I had to buy my own and set them up. That's how I caught three of those nasty critters. Now I got like 6-8 traps all over my tiny kitchen. It's gross, and I can't even go in there without feeling sick. I can't cook or eat in my own kitchen for the past two weeks, and it's gonna be like that until I move out. I'm worried the mice might have spread to other parts of the apartment 'cause they only checked and trapped in the kitchen. I've been driving back and forth between *** and Cincinnati 'cause I can't sleep at night in that place. All my family and friends are in ***, so I crash at their places instead of wasting money on a hotel. My lease ends on October 31st, and all I'm asking is to let me go without any penalties. I got a little dog, and I work nights, so I can't leave him alone in a mouse-infested home. I even had to call in sick to work and lose money 'cause of this mess.

The bedroom floor and walls are all messed up from the leak and the repairs they tried to do. The landlord don't even respond when we tell 'em about the problem. They tried to fix it a couple times, but it just keeps coming back. They take forever to fix the leaks and the drywall. It's been a mess since August and it's still not fixed. We've been dealing with this for months and they don't do nothin'. We've been callin' and emailin' 'em, but they don't care. They don't even clean up after themselves. It's been a nightmare livin' here. They finally fixed the ceiling in December, but now there's another leak. We called 'em right away, but they still ain't fixed it. We've been tryin' to get in touch with 'em, but they don't answer our calls or emails. They don't care about us at all. We finally talked to someone and they won't even give us a discount on the rent for all the trouble we've been through. They don't take responsibility for nothin'. They sent some contractors to fix the ceiling, but they didn't even put down plastic to protect our stuff. Everything got covered in dust and they even took our clothes out of the closet without askin'. It's a mess and they don't care. They sent an email sayin' they won't do any more repairs 'cause of COVID-19. It's just one excuse after another with these people. We've had enough of 'em.
