I have been a supporter of CNN for many years but this recent situation makes me question my views.
First can I say I am a Humanist and totally against what happened to the people of Israel I lecture on Respect...respect for the environment and respect for ALL people.
However your coverage and reporting is very biased towards Israel and against the Palestinian people.
The terrorist group (I do not want to even mention them) do not represent most Palestinian people.
When you interview Israeli or Jewish family members who have sadly lost loved ones or who know their loved ones are being held hostage why do you not then interview Palestinian families who in this conflict have lost families and homes.
What about discussing the opressed existance of the Palestinian people
who had their land taken off them who live in a prison called Gaza where they can not move freely. This situation has gone on for years squashing the Palestinian people and even after the UN told Israel that they should not take over and build on the land they did all the time pushing the Palestinian people back. May I suggest you discuss what has happened over the previous 40 years even more in context with what is happening today.
What does it say that a military officer interviewd says there is electricity and clean water in the south of the Gaza strip when we can see that is not the case what does it say that all the humanitarian aid is not being allowed to travel into Gaza.
You are a great and important media outlet please aim to create a better more balanced view on the situation in the Middle East.
Once again I am totally against what the terrorists did but is flattening Gaza killing innocent people and children going to solve anything.
Personally I think it may even make things worse.
All of us need to learn to respect each other no matter ones religion or wether you do not have a religion, no matter the colour of ones skin, ones sexual orientation, whether young, old rich or poor we are the same species and the sooner we remember that the sooner we respect one another then maybe we will create a wonderful future for this great planet...our home.
Desired outcome: A more balanced reporting
