DO NOT USE!
They straight up steal your money. They will “send” your bitcoin and when you go check the blockchain or where you were sending it. They won’t get it but Coinme will take your bitcoin out your account and never send it. And then won’t respond when you contact their support. Horrible app, don’t use. You will be ripped off. Haven’t heard anything from Coinme support after constant messages and calls. Worst app ever. They will steal your money and not respond to emails or phone calls.. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE TERRIBLE.
Bitcoins didn’t show it my account
A friend transferred bitcoins from his wallet to my Coinme wallet. It got completed on his end and I didn’t get bitcoins. I checked thoroughly if I made a mistake in the wallet but everything was correct. I didn’t get bitcoins. I contacted customer care and they listen the first time. Now I called and they hanged up, I sent a message online and they ended the chat. Looking at the paradigms of the situation. It’s coinme’s fault. Because I gave a different wallet and my friend was able to send bitcoins. My case number is [protected]
I Can’t redeem my voucher
Coinme is a pain..I can’t redeem my vouchers I still have my account and I can login I put in the correct number on my account when buying the vouchers but anytime I try to redeem the vouchers it keep on saying unable to complete redemption because it would exceed the 30 days spending limit of $30000..I should try again later and when I do it keep on repeating itself..I login into my account and I’ve not bought up to $30000 in the past 30 days..why is this happening..I need my bitcoin in my wallet please Coinme should fix this..hope to hear a response soon thanks
Site functionality and customer service racing to the bottom
I’ve mostly been happy with the site. But on the 9th of October I bought BTC and redeemed the voucher. But no funds went to my wallet. I chatted with customer service multiple times that day only to have each one tell me how intensely sad they were about my situation, but they were having “technical difficulties” and to just check back later in the day and everything would be great. I deduced the technical difficulties without them telling me. And I kept logging in for four days. No $ until the 13th of October.
So I try to log into my account today (the 13th). ERROR! My username and pw are wrong. They’re not. I try to reset pw. Can’t do that either. But an incredibly explanatory page banner saying I MIGHT not be able to log in, and they are investigating. Vague explanations are about as valuable as not telling me anything.
I will say that the reps in the chat are ALWAYS super-nice. Just not armed with much knowledge of current coinme events.
Two weeks and no response or answer
I wish I could give this negative stars.Maybe if I could get the hundred dollars worth of bitcoin that they overcharged me (more than THREE GRAND over literally any market price on this planet) I could buy a negative star from the apple store. Oh wait I can’t because their authentication system crapped out trying after 3 tries failing to read my ID versus my selfie to verify who I am and I cannot get an account with my number now without contacting someone and their phone lines are just an answering machine that says we’re under great stress… So many calls… Like their Frontline workers using a tagline. And their website doesn’t even have a ghetto automated “we will help you robot” it says it’s under construction and that I can talk with a PERSON on the phone… But nope.
In response, I’d love to add a case number but this Is literally the first response I’ve had with anything so my phone number is [protected] just unlock my account so I can verify my ID so I can get my money and never talk to your company again
Bunch of criminals
Don’t use their Services, don’t are liars, I bought bitcoin with them for $380 dollars and when I wanted to create an account so that I can redeem my bitcoins, they didn’t let me create account and after contacting them for so many days they replied me and told me that they are going to work on it and they didn’t get back to me for over a week and when I contacted them again they told me that I will not be able to create an account with them and they said that they are going to mail my check to my mail and send me a tracking number but before they do that, my case will be forwarded to accounting department for review which will last for 15-30 business days and if account department approved my case my money will be mail back to me.
I waited for 3 weeks and they later emailed me and told me that account department have approved my case and a check will be mail to me between 7-10 business days.
And then I started waiting again and after 7 working business days again I contacted them and that’s when they replied me and told me that very day that my check have been prepared and it will be mailed to me that very day which would take 3-5 business days to arrive to me and if it does not arrive to me after 30 days then I should contact them again and since then they didn’t send me the check they promised me and they didn’t reply me back. I have contacted them everywhere but they don’t reply me.
They were just giving me unnecessary hopes, they are scammers and they will take your hard earn money don’t buy bitcoin on their machine or create accounts with them. I have learn my lessons from them.
Wish there was a ZERO STAR option
This is the absolute worst customer service, and company I have EVER experienced! to start. My account had my old work cell phone number on it and since I’ve gotten a new phone, I forgot this, so I am unable to redeem my voucher. This is a $600 voucher… I have reached out via email along with the support chat on at least six occasions over the last four days and have heard nothing back. Regarding the Customer chat, I have literally been basically hung up on by every single agent before they have even finished my conversation and they resolve nothing they just in the chat whenever they feel like it, the last time I went to get on because I had a question and I was uploading the selfie they asked me to take. Message waiting for chat agent said “You are next in line…Please be patient” I was next in line for 52 minutes…
This led me to test this out on my computer and initiated chat with made up credentials and guess what! I was answered within 1 minute! I work in sales/customer service industry and I WOULD NEVER TREAT SOMEONE THIS WAY…they are clearly just SCREENING ME.
You can’t just ignore people and they go away…or I DONT not when it has to do with my money!
So I just finally reached out to the ComplaintsBoard.com and the FTC (know someone very well that works at FTC).
I was informed that if don’t hear back within the next 24 hours they will provide assistance and help me to proceed with the next best course of action.
I mean I just have never heard of people being this blatantly rude in this incredibly horrible to customers. I will literally not stop until I get my money back so I don’t care what I have to do but
I just wanted to forewarn anybody to not download this app or do anything affiliated with this company.

For awhile, this CoinMe app seemed to be okay. Randomly at the grocery store & saw a kiosk to buy Bitcoin - the operating system on the kiosk was : CoinMe.
I randomly was asked to be interviewed by their team via FaceTime & I thought that was super neat . . . But wow! It seems all the Negative comments about this app is true.
I wasn’t even going to use them; however, at the store saw the kiosk and regrettably decided to move forward with them.
Logged into my account - all was good.
Purchased $250 worth - all was great.
Everything was going smooth.
I log back on not 20minutes later …. Oh, what happens you ask? …..well let me tell you.
All of a sudden;

All of a sudden, the Markets crashing an extra 10%-25%
Lacking a moral compass & it’s official folks, CoinMe = Corrupt

By all means, DYI - you can very easily look at the Crypto Market, see what Cryptocurrency CoinMe offers & see a large dump between 10%-25%.
But really, whose to blame, only the customers who’ve downloaded their product. As it’s solely a scam - I should have known better.

A Horror Story! Totally Unbelievable Of CoinME!
I went to a Fred Meyer store in my town and I bought BTC with $380, but the machine would not give me a voucher! At that time only was I able to actually talk to someone at CoinMe I believe it was, though it could’ve been CoinStar, but at any rate, I got back a temporary voucher but it only had a pin number on it, and over the past several weeks, I have chatted with the agents on the CoinMe site and been given different case numbers every time, but I have always mentioned the incident number of the voucher that I got, which I hope will be temporary, but who knows, but I only got that voucher at all because there was a back-and-forth between me and the agent on my phone that they wanted me to do so between them and the stores manager, and ever since then I have been to the chat site at least once or twice a week every week, and I have made phone calls and left messages requesting someone to call me, but no one ever has yet, though I gave them all the information that they needed, and that they told me was needed! Yet, in all of this time, nobody has called me back, even though I spoke very clearly, and gave them all of the information that was requested, I still have never been contacted except maybe twice by emails, and I left them the information there that they wanted, which included a selfie of myself and a photo of my ID, which is my drivers license, and a photo of me, holding my drivers license in my hand, yet, nobody has reached out back to me, and even in one of those photo sets that I have sent them to no avail, I even held the voucher in my other hand, but yet, no one has contacted me back about it! They think I’m just going to give up and forget about ever getting my $380 in a voucher or in a check if need be, back! Well, if they think that, they’re completely wrong! Because I will take this lousy CoinMe to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and I’ll see how much they like that! I am tired of dealing with these so and so’s, and getting nowhere and it’s been far too long for a solution to have been reached! I just want to let you people know that deal with them that you better hope you never fail to get a voucher out of a machine because you’ll be lucky if you ever get a voucher or your money, back! I had also requested that my email address be changed in the account, but the only thing I got back about that was, when we restore your account, it will be because when you will be able to get your voucher, but when is that ever going to happen? As it is, I can’t login or do anything there and they don’t seem like they want to do anything about it! This is the kind of treatment that I would expect to be given in a communist country and not in the United States of America! The case numbers I’ve had to sludge thru are; [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], and, [protected]..! The voucher Incident Number is; 165131, but I won’t write the PIN # here..! I still have that “temporary”? Voucher!
For what it’s worth, people, they finally sent me a check, which I’ve cashed, but, they also ended my membership, even though it was entirely their fault, and they refused to give me any explanation as to why they ended my membership! I hope you don’t end up on the same wagon as I ended up on, so, if you don’t get a voucher out of the machine, you’re likely headed down the same road as I did! Find a better outfit to use would be what I would suggest, and make these people suffer financial loss severely so they realize they can’t do this to people and treat us like this!

Invalid Bitcoin Wallet
This app has been incredibly frustrating. I’ve only been able to make one successful transaction since I’ve downloaded the app; I have attempted many. I recently checked my Bitcoin wallet on Blockchain, and it appears my Bitcoin wallet (that was given to me by CoinMe) is invalid.
I will be switching to a different app, for sure.

I bought a Bitcoin and it’s been stuck on the app up till this moment . I can’t send it out, it keeps bouncing and returning to the wallet. I tried the next day and the said “app not supported in your region, it’s only supported in the United States” I live in the United States fffsss! Can't eat don't use this app
I currently cannot eat or buy groceries as my etherum transaction that was sent t me never showed up in my account. There is no sense of urgency to fix this situation or any of the others I have read about. The financial impact of this for me is debating as I have two kids. Needs more work
1st off the app and website will definitely delete your debit cards . I had 2 cards and they have been cleared off my account and I never had issues. 2 sorry customer service with calling and chatting . MoneyGram dose not work and ppl are not trained on how to do it from the teller side and it’s always down. If things worked this would be a good app and crypto wallet. Need more ways to transfer money and crypto and lower gas fees. Will have to find a app like this that is easier plus safe to do local business.
