Poor customer service, less than honest international ordering/shipping
Repeat customer very dissatisfied with their customer service.
The customer service correspondence in relation to my queries re the issues described below was poor: a somewhat aggressive denial that their conduct was "deceptive" in any way (quite debatable) but no acknowledgment of or apology for the impact of the non-disclosed stocking delay nor offer to make amends.
ISSUES - They failed to disclose at time of ordering:
(i) the ordered item (an arm compression sleeve) was not stock; and
(ii) that where not-in-stock items are selected for international delivery there will be a delay prior to dispatch - typically one week - while the stock is sourced from their supplier.
Based on a (largely irrelevant) explanation they provided about how not-in stock items are shipped directly by suppliers to US addresses, I understand that both issues are systemic (i.e. built into their process) the failure to disclose the not in-stock status of items and the dispatch/stocking delay applicable to international orders of such items.
In this case, despite having selected their expensive (3x standard shipping cost) express international shipping service their failure to advise the stocking delay deprived me of the opportunity to select an alternative in-stock item (to ensure the selected item to be delivered by the required time) or simply default to the cheaper, standard shipping option. As it turned out the one week delay in dispatch meant that the item was not able tp be delivered within my family's required 18 day window prior to international travel. As a result my mother was unable to use the compression sleeve for her travel.
Without the week-long pre-dispatch delay, under their shipper DHL's standard delivery timeframe range for the express shipping service the item would have been comfortably delivered in time. In my view any customer in this circumstance has a reasonable expectation that any material applicable stocking delay would be advised to them at point of ordering, even more so if an express shipping option was selected.
To clarify: I'm not suggesting they promised the item would be delivered or shipped by a certain date or within a particular time-frame. I am suggesting that their failure to disclose during the ordering process a systemic stocking delay (for all out of stock products for international delivery) that would significantly increase the overall delivery time, whilst still accepting the 3x shipping premium paid by the customer, is poor, verging on deceptive, customer service.
Potential remedies suggested by me to "make it right" - either:
- refund the difference between the express and standard shipping charge (as they failed to effectively provide the express service)
- resend the ordered item to the US address my mother would be staying at whilst in the US so she could at least the stocking for her return flight.
Other than their somewhat aggressive denial of deceptive conduct (essentially disputing semantics) there was neither an acknowledgement of the poor customer experience nor any response to my request for a remedy to "make it right".
Seller promised a lot, but did a little
I placed the order on the website www.compressionstockings.com and received the automated response. The seller promised to provide all necessary info and within 5 days I heard some fake promises. Now they stopped to reply to my emails and I still have no information about the delivery. The seller behaved really bad and inappropriate. I would never again use this website.
They didn't send information and removed all their contact info
3 weeks ago I placed the order online. I bought some medical supplies from the website www.compressionstockings.com. I waited for the confirmation, but I received the automated reply only 10 after I made a purchase from them. I tried to contact the seller, but they didn’t respond. I noticed that they have removed their phone number and online chat agents after my numerous attempts to contact them. Strange company.

does not stand behind the product
Bought 2 times - 3 products - expensive compression stockings. One pair had defect out of the package. Company does not include any return label or instructions. Submitted a request to return on their website. It was never answered. Send email request to follow up. Was sent a message back asking me if "donning gloves" were used to put on the stockings, exactly how they were damaged, and to send a photo of the damage. Damage does not show in a photo - only if the pair are put on. In addition no instructions are given with the product instructing you that "Donning Gloves" are a requirement for warranty being honored. Bottom line - company sells expensive hose and if you get a defective pair you are on your own.
I strongly recommend STAY AWAY FROM this store
2 out of 3 purchased items was not received after 4 moths! (Shipping to the same address).
Email them three times (once a month after 1 month without reception), told me twice to just wait and will arrive soon; then ignored my third email. Then they did not return my call either after I called them and was told they will looking into my order and get me back in two days! After I called them again and ask why no response, the guy (Owen, who told me he is the CEO of the website) told me he intentionally ignored to respond my email because I am contacting him too much! What kind of business you are running, ONE email for each month is too much? And the customer does not have a right to know why purchase not delivered yet?
What is more ridiculous is, this time, the guy Owen told me they just received one product the week before, which was returned to them by USPS because of shipping address! But the truth is, they are lying. After I looked it up through USPS track system with the tracking number, it showed already more than two months ago when it was delivered back to their store! That’s before my second email to ask where my purchased product is. They told me just wait while the order was lying in their store! And now he wanted to reship this order back to me at my cost, rather than refund me! Really? How dare you can do that after it was sitting in your store for two months until I called to ask where my order is! If I did not call them, they just continue to keep the returned product and resell them to another customer. Based on their integrity, it is fair for me to think my second undelivered product is also sitting somewhere in their store. After extremely disappointment with their service, I refused to accept reshipping and asked a refund for both undelivered products! And he refused me! And told me will not refund me if they did not received the returned the product from USPS. But the truth is, you want me to believe you after you received one returned product for more than two months without notifying me and lied to me they are on the way and let me just wait! Sorry, No Way! So I took my own action to dispute the charge through my credit card bank. Also I am writing this review to tell my own experience to get this website exposed. I strongly recommend STAY AWAY FROM this store! Otherwise you are going to regret like me.
Delivery took much longer than expected
STAY AWAY. Delivery took much longer than expected being they are on the east coast and I'm on the east coast. Ordering was easy, but trying to get a tracking number for the shipment was impossible. I called customer service twice. Each time got a different reason as to why it hadn't shipped.
The first person there told me it was because I ordered Juzo knee highs with silicone band. She claimed they come without the band and it takes time to sew in the silicone band. I never heard of anything so rediculous and should have canceled.
When the shipment never arrived and my email requests for a tracking number were ignored. I called customer service again and spoke to a rude man, Brian told me the order would have shipped, had I not ordered the bottle of liquid stocking detergent. ( So the 1st delay was because they had to sew the silicone bands on and now I guess they need time to mix and bottle a batch of detergent. ;)
The stockings are not holding up well. With less than two months of alternating use and using the detergent they recommended and supplied. The stockings aren't compressing and one has a small hole.
We have been using the same Juzo silicone band model stocking for years obtained from our health care provider and then via the Internet.. They come from Juzo with the silicone band and have consistently provided the correct compression and held up well.
Makes me wonder if compressionstockings.com is selling old expired stockings. Or are they putting together something cheaply and using the Juzo name?
I emailed compressionstockings.com seeking replacement or refund. I'll post an update.
