I decided to terminate my initial divorce lawyer and unfortunately received some detrimental advice from them, which had a negative impact on me. However, I must say that *** did an exceptional job. They provided me with much better guidance and strategies that ultimately helped me secure 50% custody of my children and achieve a favorable settlement. I highly recommend their services!
Cordell and Cordell law markets itself as a firm who fights for men’s divorce rights. Don’t believe it. After exorbitant fees and sub-par representation, they told me that if I can’t pay my bill in full, they could not move forward in my case and refused to finish my divorce in the most important stages of it. I was victimized twice in my divorce. Once by my own representation. Don’t use them. Don’t.

Working with the team at the local office has been a continuous source of support
Working with the team at the local office has been a continuous source of support. They assisted me in navigating the divorce process smoothly, even before the alimony tax deduction was eliminated. Since then, they have been guiding me through various post-divorce issues, especially with a difficult counterparty. The team consistently demonstrates excellent judgment, a strong sense of practicality, and avoids unnecessary expenses. They truly embody the essence of a reliable partner for their clients.

Even though my case didn't work out like we planned, I must say that my lawyer was great. He was always available and responded to emails quickly. I would highly recommend my lawyer and Cordell and Cordell to other people.

They are great to work with!
They are great to work with! My attorney was more like family than just my attorney! He did more than enough to help me and my 3 kids.
My attorney was Emily
My attorney was Emily. She, along with Dana (paralegal) and the rest of her team, were excellent. I received the best possible outcome!

Used Cordell and was completely satisfied. Eric Wead had my best interest throughout the entire process and was very professional while being very honest and thorough. I would highly recommend them!
Lelan of the Ft
Lelan of the Ft. Worth, TX office did an exceptional job in helping me navigate the horrendous process of a community-property divorce. He was Virgil to my Dante in navigating The Inferno. Not only was he an excellent attorney who vigorously represented me in this action — which I initiated due to my wife admitting to an affair — he protected my interests at every stage, gave me sound counsel at all times, and helped me arrive at a settlement to which all parties eventually agreed. He answered all my calls promptly, made himself available whenever I needed him, and treated me not just as a client but as a friend. I highly recommend Lelan and the Cordell & Cordell PC staff in Ft. Worth to any man who needs help with a divorce. Furthermore, I recommend any man considering marriage or re-marriage in TX to book a one-hour consult with Cordell & Cordell BEFORE saying "I do" so they know what they could really be getting into. Marriage today is playing Russian Roulette with three bullets already in the revolver: make an informed decision!
Beware of Cordell Cordell: A Disappointing Experience and a Waste of Money
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with Cordell Cordell. I was drawn in by their promise of saving "men" money in a divorce, but it turned out to be a total waste of my hard-earned cash. They told me I needed to put down $1800 as a retainer, which I did, but then just a few days later they hit me up for another $1200 because apparently my balance was in the negative. I mean, come on, how does that even happen?
Anyway, I put my foot down and told them to stop charging me for anything else. I mean, they hadn't even done anything yet except listen to me explain why I wanted a divorce. And you know what? Once they stopped charging me, I only got refunded $350 out of the $3,000 I had paid. That's just not right.
To make matters worse, I didn't receive a single piece of assistance from them. Not one. It's like they took my money and ran. I mean, what kind of crooked ethics are they running over there? It's just not right.
So, if you're thinking about using Cordell Cordell, I'd say beware. Don't waste your money like I did. There are plenty of other options out there that won't rip you off like these guys did.
Disappointing Experience with Cordell Cordell: A Review of Attorney Swift's Services
I recently had an experience with Cordell Cordell and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. I hired an attorney named Swift and gave him five years worth of police reports that were all about my wife. I was hoping that he would use them to help me in my divorce case, but to my disappointment, he did nothing with them. When I asked him about it, he didn't even bring it up in our conversation.
Swift had promised me that I would be able to walk through the house and split the assets evenly, but nothing happened. I was sent the divorce paperwork just three days before the court date and was told to look them over. I was advised to sign it and get it back to him notarized and signed within a day. I was shocked and disappointed that I lost everything in the house, including thousands of dollars worth of tools, all because my attorney was not competent enough.
I was really hoping for a better outcome, but unfortunately, my experience with Cordell Cordell was not a good one. I would not recommend them to anyone who is looking for a reliable and trustworthy attorney. It was a complete waste of my time and money.
Stay Away from Cordell and Cordell: My Costly Mistake
I can't believe I fell for the Cordell and Cordell scam! They really did a number on me and it cost me a fortune. I thought they were supposed to help dads, but they just helped me lose more money. I wish I had never used them in the first place.
They gave my case to some newbie attorney who had no idea what he was doing. He completely messed up my case and we got steamrolled in court. It was so embarrassing. I felt like such a fool for trusting Cordell and Cordell.
After the trial, my lawyer told me he screwed up and that I should find new representation. I couldn't believe it! I wasted so much time and money on these guys and they couldn't even do their job right.
If you're thinking about using Cordell and Cordell, don't do it! You're much better off finding a local attorney who knows the judges and the local procedures. Cordell and Cordell has no relationships with the judges and they don't know what they're doing.
Save yourself the headache and stay away from Cordell and Cordell. They're a complete waste of time and money.
Cordell Cordell: Not Worth the Money or the Hassle
I gotta say, I ain't too happy with Cordell Cordell. They ain't worth the money I spent on them, and they don't give a hoot about their clients. I forked over a whopping $19,000 to try and settle a custody case, but it was a total waste of my hard-earned cash. I had to correct their work so many times, and I had to remind them over and over again what I wanted them to do. It was like they weren't even listening to me!
I tried to be patient with them, but they really tested my limits. My lawyer took over a month to reply to one of my emails, and I had to bug her a bunch of times just to get a response. And when she finally did reply, all she said was "sorry, I was busy with court." Well, excuse me for expecting some basic communication from my lawyer!
Honestly, this law firm will bleed you dry. They'll make all sorts of mistakes, and you'll have to keep fixing them yourself. I wouldn't touch these guys with a ten-foot pole if I were you. Save yourself the headache and find a different lawyer.
Disappointing Experience with Cordell & Cordell: Poor Customer Service and Unsupportive Attorney in Northern CO
I gotta say, I usually like to give good reviews, but this time I gotta be real. I hired Cordell & Cordell for my case up in Northern CO and at first, they seemed pretty great. But then I got assigned to this attorney who was just not good. She didn't seem to care about my case, was always low-energy and just not supportive at all. And don't even get me started on how long it took her to respond to my concerns. Sometimes it would take her like, days to get back to me. And the final straw was when it took her a whole 4 business days to respond to me. I mean, come on. I was already stressed out enough before I hired them, and she just made it worse. And to top it all off, she never even tried to save the account or anything. And I haven't even gotten a phone call from the firm since then. It's like they don't even care about their customers. Honestly, the customer service for guys like me was just terrible. So my advice? Don't just hire these guys on a whim because you heard about them on Sports Radio or something. Get a referral from a friend or something. Trust me, it's not worth the stress.
Unreliable Legal Services: My Disappointing Experience with Cordell & Cordell
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Cordell & Cordell. I mean, they advertise themselves as the lawyers dads can count on, but my experience was anything but that.
I spent a lot of time and money with Kristin Zurek and Cordell & Cordell, but in the end, I was left feeling pretty disappointed. I had some serious concerns about the quality of legal services I received, and when I brought those concerns to Kristin, she just filed a motion to withdraw from my case. That left me without representation just days before my trial. And because I followed Kristin's advice, my ex-wife's harmful parenting is still unchecked, and I'm not in a better position to help my kids.
I tried to follow up with the firm's Client Care division, management partner Kimberly Gray, and founding partner Joseph Cordell, but I didn't get much help there either. I had a lot of questions about the quality of legal advice, commitment to clients, discrepancies between projected and actual costs, truth in advertising, value of services, and the client care process. But every time I tried to get some answers, I felt like I was being cross-examined instead of being treated like a paying client.
Even when the Missouri Bar got involved, Kristin and Cordell & Cordell refused to cooperate. So I'm left with a pretty bad taste in my mouth. I can't get my money back, and I can't undo the damage that's been done to my kids. But if you're reading this, maybe you can learn from my mistakes. I wouldn't recommend hiring Kristin or any Cordell & Cordell attorney. They're just not reliable.
Disappointing Service from Cordell Cordell: A Costly and Frustrating Divorce Experience
When I was going through my divorce, I had two main goals in mind: to get joint custody of my child and to keep my 401k intact. Of course, I also wanted to keep my personal belongings, but unfortunately, I lost most of them in the process. My ex-wife either gave them away or damaged them, and she even claimed that some of my family photos and videos were stolen. I was devastated, but my attorney didn't seem to care. He just wanted to drag out the proceedings and take more of my money.
After 18 long months and spending around $50-60k, I finally got what I wanted: joint custody and my 401k. However, I lost almost everything else, including a lot of my personal belongings. I felt like my attorney was fighting for my ex-wife the whole time, and I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from Cordell Cordell.
When customer care called me to ask about my experience with the firm, I gave them a rating of 0. They did not represent me at all, and I felt like I was getting screwed over the entire time. I paid $40k just to get joint custody of my son, and I still had to pay child support. It didn't make any sense to me, and I was extremely frustrated with the whole process.
I would never recommend Cordell Cordell to anyone. They are just in it for the money, and they don't care about their clients or their children. If you're going through a divorce, I would suggest finding a cheaper lawyer who will actually fight for your rights. Don't waste your time or money on these crooks.
Cordell Cordell Review: Misleading Flat Fee & Ineffective Representation
I recently had an experience with Cordell Cordell and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. I was informed that they had a new flat plan which would be a flat charge to take the case to trial. I was charged $11k for this service. However, the case kept dragging on to the point where the attorney would send me my monthly statements essentially showing me that he is now working for half his normal rate. He was the one that pushed the flat rate but as it lowered his hourly rate since the case dragged on, he simply didn't care.
The trial was over my children as my ex was doing everything she could to keep my kids from me. She had lie after lie after lie and yet never did I see the attorney request proof for the accusations. Furthermore, I didn't see him show a pattern to the judge of her non-stop accusations with no support. It got to the point where my attorney said "they are just saying horrible things about you. Such terrible things that you have done." I didn't want to know because I know I was a good husband.
Finally, I got sick of him saying "oh they are saying such horrible stories about you" that I finally said what is being said? He states he doesn't have specifics but it's really bad? Then the GAL did a report and sent it to the judge. The report had a story of a woman I was apparently dating and I was going to kill this woman for breaking up with me. It was a full story that had not 1 piece of evidence; no names, no time of year, no police report, no descriptions of anything to validate this happened at all.
This woman I was going to kill claimed she didn't want to file charges against me but had no problem locating my ex-wife from 10 years prior to tell her this story? It just simply couldn't be more far-fetched and my attorney didn't question anything about the report. Literally, my ex-wife could have said anything she wanted as my attorney simply didn't dispute anything. I don't know how even a judge could have looked at this and not questioned it.
Don't let their ads mislead you. They are simply another attorney that wants to take your money and do as little as possible. I would not recommend Cordell Cordell to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy attorney.
Cordell Cordell: Not the Partner You Can Count On - A Disastrous Experience
Hey there,
I gotta say, I was pretty impressed with Cordell Cordell when I first heard about them. I mean, their website looks legit and they talk a big game about being the partner you can count on. But let me tell you, my experience with them was a total disaster.
I was going through a divorce and I needed help. I'm the sole provider for my family of four and things were getting pretty ugly. I didn't want a divorce, but my wife was leaving me and nothing was going my way. So I turned to Cordell Cordell for help.
Big mistake.
They assigned me a retirement attorney who was dishonest and misleading. His advice was just plain wrong and it led to a bunch of missteps during my case. We had two failed mediations, both of which were stopped by him. And then he just wanted to delay everything until next year. I couldn't accept that, so I pushed the negotiations myself. I gave up a lot. I gave hundreds of thousands of dollars over the next ten years of my life. I gave up fighting for visitation. And I got destroyed.
But that's not even the worst part. After the sale of my family home and the disbursement of funds, my attorney refused service. He wouldn't provide an escrow account that was documented in the separation agreement. I literally sat on the check for over a month hoping for service. His billing continued as our communication completely degraded. And then he withdrew from my case without even talking to me.
I mean, what kind of partner is that? I was desperate for someone I could count on and Cordell Cordell let me down big time.
But here's the thing. Their client mitigation team is amazing. They're really good at keeping up the reputation of the company. But do they have the authority to issue a full refund? Because that's what I'm asking for. I want a full refund and an apology.
I've been trying to get in touch with Cordell Cordell for a while now, but it seems like they're impossible to reach. So I'm going to send a hard copy of this letter to their office in Bonita Springs and a digital copy to their firm address and see if that gets their attention. If not, I'll just have to start spreading the word about my experience until they respond.
Bottom line, don't trust Cordell Cordell. They're not the partner you can count on.
Disappointing Experience with Cordell & Cordell: Misleading Promises, Poor Communication, Mishandled Case
I was really disappointed with my experience with Cordell & Cordell. I was promised a 60% property distribution in my divorce case, but ended up with only 50%. I provided all the details of my spouse's marital misconduct to Kristin Zurek, but was misled by her and the firm. I paid over $10,000 in fees and retainers, but did not receive the results I was promised.
The firm's advertising claims of a 60/40 asset division in cases of marital misconduct are misleading. The Missouri courts generally divide the marital estate 50/50, regardless of marital misconduct. I feel like I was given false hope just to sign an engagement letter and hire the firm.
I also had issues with the firm's communication and organization. I did not receive timely copies of correspondence created or reviewed in my case, which exposed me to significant risk. I was not informed about common inquiries like my children's birthdays, teacher names, and coach names, which made me look like an idiot during the custody battle. The firm's software was outdated and not compliant with the data I provided them, resulting in additional legal fees.
My case was grossly mishandled from start to finish. My attorney, William J. Halaz III, failed to protect me and my children from harm when my wife was taken to jail during the trial for attempting to bring a loaded pistol into the courtroom without a CCW permit. He also failed to ask the expert witness for his opinion on my income potential during the deposition, leaving me defenseless at trial. My income was overstated, resulting in me paying more child support than I could afford. Halaz also encouraged me to pay a lump sum payment of $24k tax-free to my ex-wife, but I was not informed of the child support consequences of that decision.
Overall, I paid a premium price for substandard legal service. The firm neglected legal matters, breached confidentiality, and failed to protect my best interests. I would not recommend Cordell & Cordell to anyone.
Cordell Cordell Complaints 10
FRAUD
Dear Joseph,
Your reputation online is impeccable. Almost righteous! When I first researched your company, I was impressed with your history, reputation, and outward display of spirituality. It's quite impressive. I've tried the bill of goods and I'm calling you a FRAUD. Your name is sub-labeled, 'The partner you can count on'. I'm contesting that claim. You employed a FRAUD on your staff in Greenwood Village, Colorado. I paid over $15,000 to your law firm to be misinformed, misled, extorted, delayed and refused service. I'm being absolutely destroyed in my case with no representation. Your attorney withdrew from my case. Then left your firm. I'm desperate to find someone I can count on?
As the sole provider for a family of four, my situation wasn't pretty. I didn't want a divorce. My wife was leaving me and nothing was agreeable. I really needed help. I was assigned a retirement attorney. My Cordell attorney was dishonest & misleading. His advice was wrong. It led to multiple missteps during my case. We had two failed mediations; both of which were stopped by him. Ultimately, his plan was to delay everything till next year. I couldn't accept the failure so I pushed the negotiations myself. I gave up a lot. I gave hundreds of thousands, over the next ten years of my life. Gave up fighting for visitation. I literally got destroyed. Your attorney wouldn't come out from behind his email. After the sale of my family home and disbursement of funds, my attorney refused service. He wouldn't provide an escrow account that was documented in the separation agreement. I literally sat on the check for over a month hoping for service. His billing continued as our communication completely degraded. His assistant reached out after a month to 'catch-up' and quickly discovered that I had lost confidence and was seeking advice elsewhere. Your attorney withdrew without a conversation?with his client.
Enter your client mitigation team: Joseph, you have hit the ball out of the park. I now understand why your reputation is so impeccable. The filter is amazing! They are absolutely outstanding at the gate-keep, energized, and spirited at keeping the reputation alive. Do they have the authority to issue a full refund? Because I'm asking for a full refund and apology. The above referenced experience is still evolving. It speaks volumes that I've had more interaction with your client mitigation team than my disgraced attorney. I don't believe he represented you in good-faith either. I plan on launching a formal complaint against him with the Colorado Bar. Separate from this request. The pain he's caused is immeasurable and personal.
I've been convinced that contacting you is nearly impossible, so I'll aim for Bonita Springs first. I'm actually from Florida, so I know Esperia South well. I'll fire a hard copy to 2507 with a digital copy to your firm address (Kathy Edson) and ***@affintec.com. If my correspondence fails to inspire. Then I'll picture this letter for internet distribution until I hear from you. I've been complaining for a while with no resolution. I believe Cordell's priority of online reputation far exceeds the success of my case, so I'll leverage that priority until you respond in kind.
Sincerely,
Jay Frank
My name is John Doe and I work as a truck driver and a police officer in Missouri
My name is John and I work as a truck driver and a police officer in Missouri. I hired Cordell & Cordell in November of 2018. My attorney, Mr. Smith, continued filing motions until May of 2019 when he discovered that the case had been finalized 5 months earlier and ruled on 6 months earlier. Afterward, my lawyer filed a motion to set aside the ruling. However, my lawyer's communication was terrible and he did not fight for me. He advised me to make deals to end the divorce and did not seem to care. Months passed and Mr. Smith was no longer handling my case. Mr. Johnson became my attorney and he acknowledged that something unethical had occurred in my case. Mr. Johnson was unable to locate the MDA agreement or the necessary paperwork to file for divorce. He stated that without those documents, it would not be possible to file or set aside the divorce. Mr. Johnson attempted to contact the opposing counsel but faced difficulties for weeks. I was then assigned a new lawyer, Ms. Davis. Ms. Davis tried to come up with parenting plans and an MDA agreement, but the other party refused to cooperate. We had a hearing, but Ms. Brown did not attend. As a result, the judge ordered mediation and gave us 45 days. This occurred in February 2022. However, Ms. Brown did not show up for the next mediation either. Ms. Davis scheduled a contempt hearing for September 15th, but it was canceled because Ms. Davis had moved on to another firm. I now have another lawyer, Ms. Taylor. Unfortunately, Ms. Taylor had other court matters on my scheduled court date, so I missed it on the 15th. It is now November, and I have gone through 4 lawyers and 4 years, spending over $10,000, yet I have never been to court for this case and I feel helpless. I have not heard from Ms. Taylor since October 10th, and her communication has been terrible. No one at this firm seems to care. I urge someone to review the file of documents and see all the issues. Then, please explain to me why I should not be writing this review. Cordell & Cordell is not living up to their 10 commandments of customer service.
February 2020. I began being a client of Cordell and Cordell and an attorney for false child support back pay accusations and to get custody of my children. I paid around 6 thousand dollars before my ex and I came to an agreement that she would let me have the kids and clear the false back child support that the Texas attorney general claimed I owed, amounting to 37,000 dollars. During this period, a thousand dollars a month was being withheld from my salary by the Texas attorney general as a holding measure. The attorney drafted the order that my ex and I agreed upon, which would waive all child support owed and grant me primary custody of my two children. As time passed, I awaited the return of the approximately 6 thousand dollars that had been withheld, only to be informed by the TAG that it would go to my ex. Despite the order clearly stating that all child support obligations were waived, the way it was written prevented me from reclaiming the withheld funds. This situation felt unjust, and I was told that it couldn't be fixed.
In February 2020, I became a client of Cordell and Cordell and hired an attorney to help me with false
In February 2020, I became a client of Cordell and Cordell and engaged the services of a dedicated attorney to assist me with allegations of false child support back pay and to pursue custody of my children. I invested approximately $6,000 before I was able to reach an amicable agreement with my ex-spouse. Eventually, she conceded to grant me custody of the children and to dismiss the erroneous back child support claims that the Texas Attorney General (TAG) was pursuing, which totaled $37,000. Throughout this ordeal, the TAG was deducting $1,000 monthly from my salary. The attorney I hired prepared a legal order that both my ex-spouse and I consented to, which nullified all child support arrears and awarded me primary custody of our two children.
Time elapsed, and I anticipated the return of the $6,000 that the TAG had accumulated. Contrary to my expectations, I was notified that this sum would be transferred to my ex-spouse. Despite the legal order explicitly stating that my child support obligations had been annulled, the phrasing of the order inadvertently obstructs me from reclaiming the withheld funds. This predicament is inequitable, and the authorities assert that the issue is irreversible.

Divorce appeal
I am the full time father of three going through a divorce. We moved to Oregon from Idaho. Idaho ruled that Oregon had jurisdiction for the divorce. My ex appealed that decision and I retained this firm. They were very hard to keep in contact with and I seemed to have to suggest things to file and how to fight the appeal so that they knew what direction to...
Read full review of Cordell CordellDisappointing Results: My Experience with Cordell Cordell for Divorce and Custody Case
So, I went to Cordell Cordell for help with my divorce and custody case. I shelled out a lot of dough over the course of a year, but I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with the results. They made a few phone calls here and there, but they didn't really look into any of the stuff that was really important to me, like the safety of my boys. I mean, isn't that the whole point of hiring a lawyer? To make sure your kids are gonna be okay? Anyway, I wouldn't recommend them if you're looking for someone who's gonna fight for you and your family.
Disappointing Experience with Cordell Cordell: Overpriced and Unsympathetic
I gotta say, my experience with Cordell Cordell was not great. They charged me a whopping $1800 just to write a one page letter to my ex about custody violations. And then they kept hounding me to pursue a case that would just rack up even more charges. It was like they didn't care about my financial situation at all.
Honestly, I would warn any other guys out there to think twice before getting married, cohabitating, or having kids. Being a father in the West is just the worst decision I've ever made. It's like the system is rigged against us, and lawyers like Cordell Cordell are just out to make a quick buck off our misery.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying all lawyers are bad. But Cordell Cordell definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Unethical Lawyer and Money-Driven Firm: My Disappointing Experience with Cordell Cordell
I had a really bad experience with Cordell Cordell. The lawyer I worked with was not honest and seemed to only care about making money. She would lie to the courts and other lawyers without any hesitation. I felt like she was only interested in selling my child to the other parent, who I knew was predatory.
The worst part was that she kept dragging out the litigation for years, filing motions that had no merit and were clearly fraudulent. I felt like she was just trying to run up her legal fees and didn't care about the impact it was having on my life.
It's really disappointing to see lawyers like this who give the profession a bad reputation. I would not recommend Cordell Cordell to anyone looking for a trustworthy and ethical lawyer.
Disappointing Service from Cordell & Cordell: Not Fighting for Men's Rights
I recently hired Cordell & Cordell to represent me in a court order case. Unfortunately, the court hearing was postponed and I only had a couple of phone calls with the attorney. I was surprised to see that he billed me for over 7 hours in just 2 weeks, especially since we never met face to face. It seemed like he was just doing paperwork and sending emails to increase the billable hours.
I was disappointed with the service provided by Cordell & Cordell. It felt like they were not fighting for men's rights as they claim to do. I would advise anyone looking for legal representation to go to another attorney and not use Cordell & Cordell.
Overall, my experience with Cordell & Cordell was not satisfactory. I hope that they can improve their services and truly fight for men's rights in the future.
Cordell Cordell Review: A Law Firm Only Interested in Making Money
Cordell Cordell is a law firm that I have had the displeasure of dealing with. In my humble opinion, they are just like the lawyers you see in the movies, always billing for every little thing and not really doing anything to help your case move forward. It seems like they only care about the amount of hours they can bill you for. It's no surprise that they target men, as they are often seen as the breadwinners and therefore, more likely to have money to spend on legal fees.
It's clear that Cordell Cordell is only interested in making money, and not in helping their clients get a fair divorce settlement. They don't seem to care about the emotional toll that a divorce can take on a person, or the impact it can have on their family. All they care about is how much they can charge you for their services.
I would not recommend Cordell Cordell to anyone who is going through a divorce. They are not interested in helping you get a fair outcome, and they will only add to the stress and anxiety that you are already feeling. If you want a law firm that actually cares about their clients and is willing to fight for their rights, then you should look elsewhere.
In conclusion, Cordell Cordell is a law firm that is only interested in making money. They don't care about their clients or the impact that a divorce can have on their lives. If you want a fair outcome, then you should avoid this law firm at all costs.
Disappointing Service and Predatory Collection Practices: My Experience with Cordell Cordell
I recently hired Cordell Cordell to help me with my divorce case. They asked me to pay $5,700 upfront and then another $5,700 just 15 days later. I was really upset when they threatened to stop representing me if I didn't pay.
Luckily, I didn't have to go to court because I was able to work things out with my ex-wife within 10 days of hiring them. However, I was really disappointed with the service I received from Cordell Cordell. They gave me a rookie attorney who didn't seem to know what he was doing. He didn't do anything to help me and I felt like I was on my own.
To make matters worse, the opposing attorney was really aggressive and Cordell Cordell didn't seem to be doing anything to help me. I felt like they were working for the other side instead of for me.
Finally, I had a really bad experience with their collection department. They were really pushy and seemed more interested in getting their money than in helping me. I think their collection practices are really predatory and they should be investigated.
Overall, I would not recommend Cordell Cordell to anyone. They are not a good law firm and I think people should stay far away from them.
