On Aug 14 2:00-3:30 pm I walked into the Hanford CA Costco for a eye exam. $90.00. I went thru the first part of exam.. was ok. Then went into exam room with eye dr. I told him my issue. Needing a new pair of eye glasses. Told him I’m having issues seeing far and close. He checked my existing glasses script. Then gave me a eye exam .. I told him I couldn’t even read any thing on the far away charts. Hence why I was there. He seemed frustrated each time he asked if I could read the charts. I was honest and said no. Even with my glasses on!
He wrote a script without doing a through eye test/chart. Nothing was focused. I then was frustrated myself. I told him to see close up/read I had to take my glasses off. Hence again eye exam. Yes my eyes are really bad. Which why I wear glasses to drive .. read… work. He then gave a quick look at my eyes. Yes I have starting cataracts. But I am still needing new scripts. He did a close up chart. I said some of these I can read. He then ended exam. Wrote one and I paid my fee. I wasn’t satisfied
Desired outcome: I wanted glasses I can wear and function daily with. I filled the script he gave me with a online service. I received new glasses. I can’t even wear them. I see 2 of everything!! I wish for a refund $90.00 exam.
