I was measured for new glasses at Costco in September 2023. I picked the new glasses up on 10/3/2023. The next day, on 10/4/2023, I brought them back to the store because the left lens was not correct. I could not read any small print out of the left lens. So the technician, whose name is Laura, said that she would adjust them. I explained that the reading magnifier on the left lens was set too low. After trying to adjust them three times, I said, "You can adjust them all day, I am telling you that I can't read with my left eye. Will you remeasure and send these glasses back for a correction?" She kept refusing saying that she would be able to adjust them. After going back and forth for 20 minutes I said, "I want a refund. I am so frustrated; I can't take it anymore." And her exact response to me was, "So am I."
My wife and I have ordered glasses from the Costco Optical Department in the past, but I will never do it again. I am enclosing the refund receipt for the glasses. I am also sending this letter of complaint to the store manager at Costco in Orland Park, Illinois.
Once again, her name was Laura and I was told that she is the manager. Her service and attention to my needs were way below standard.
