I will not buy from CowBoom ever again!
I bought a laptop from them and it arrived damaged. That happened because of the poor packaging. I contacted CowBoom numerous times and tried to get at least some help, but they only said how sorry they were and did absolutely nothing. When my laptop arrived box was completely ripped. I'm glad my laptop is working and there is actually everything ok with it, just some visible damages and scratches. I will not buy from CowBoom ever again!
The rep made mistake and stopped to communicate
I bought Dell from the website www.cowboom.com. The company provided damaged laptop, so it never worked. I started to call and sent emails to the scamming company. But they refused to take it, but after 2 months of arguing, the rep finally agreed to take it back. I returned it, but the rep dropped the ball and stopped to communicate with me. I haven’t received money back, no laptop and no idea what measures to take now. Please, post comments about your experience with them.
substituted cheap computer
I bought numerous computer from cowboom and they substituted cheap models for good ones.I won auctions and they sent me much cheaper computer more than 3 times. They offered to pay me to keep the cheap one and it made it acceptable the first few times. It has been a continuous thing and it seems if someone didn't know better the computer they received would look good but in actuality is hundreds of dollars cheaper than the one offer for auction and bid on.So Warning to anyone doing business with cowboom . If it was a mistake it would only happen occasionally. The man in charge of cow boom has been trained in the logistics of resale and is highly educated in this field . So with all of his training and experience in this type of activity it would be a seldom thing for this to happen and not the rule of the day. If there is any question about this I can be reached at [protected]@msn.com . Beware

Defective Merchandise and Bad Service
I ordered a refurbished TV. It arrived broken and it was obvious that they had shipped it that way since the box I received it in wasn't damaged in any way. Customer Service was pleasant but absolutely useless. Tech Support was non-existent. Cust. Serv. told me to call RCA service but they couldn't help me either. I finally just sent the TV back using their RMA. It's been two weeks and I've sent several messages and haven't heard anything...I haven't even been notified that they received the return.
Shipping and product issues
I purchased a refurbished iPod classic on 6/7/11. The item was supposed to be shipped in 2 days, delivered in ten. The item wasn't shipped until 10 days, and delivered later than the 10 days. Upon receiving the item, it will not charge. I don't understand how a refurbished item, that is supposed to be restored to like new status, can come out of the box not working, unless they are just slapping a refurb sticker on a used item without even checking them out. I called, and my only option is a refund, no replacement. When I explained my frustration, and asked if I could speak to a supervisor to complain, was told that they do not do that, and that the operator did not know who would hear my complaint in the company. Do not buy from cow boom!

I purchased an ASUS Android tablet from Cowboom.com on 07/02/12. The "Daily Deal" listing showed the item was used, but in good condition, lacking only the keyboard dock and printed manuals. I made the purchase, but when received the tablet had NO CHARGER! Attempted to work with customer "support" but they have an awful attitude and claim that "no charger was included in the purchase". This doesn't even make sense, even in the most twisted interpretation. They claimed to be selling a fully functional product, but don't even provide the buyer with a way to operate the system?!? Of course, the "Daily Deal" page has long since changed and they're offering no help other than an RMA. Given the poor manner they've behave thus far, I'm quite leery even to attempt a return on this high priced item, fearing a further rip off. I got burned, buyer beware Cowboom!
Website / Customer Service
Was participating in an auction when I was outbid. Couldnt login to bid again. Contacted customer service to inquire, didnt know site was down. After investigating more on my side, someone in the IT dept must have done something because the sites links now referred to internal servers and address... such as http://dsp01dtw:xxxx I called to complain, was told that no complaint department was available, and they dont really care that the server addresses are exposed and that further information was available from the servers... file structures, etc. So not only did I loose a few auctions, I could now see their servers online... great security...

Fraud Activity
I just received my order from this company. To my surprise, the package was opened and the translator that was included is not the one advertised. The company appears to have replaced the original translator with a cheap model that doesn't even work! Check out the photos, the included translator doesn't even look like the picture on the packaging. I also included a photo showing the poor tape job! I plan on going after these guys. Heck, I'm a lawyer with some extra time on my hands! BEWARE BUYERS!

Quality
Ordered a Canon Rebel EOS. Ad said strap, battery, instructions, battery charger included. Got the camera and NONE of these included! Ad page had vanished and no proof I was right. Contacted Cowboom and they disputed my complaint. This was my first and last purchase there. Bought a 4 year extended warranty and they now want the serial number of the camera which appears to have been removed by Cowboom prior to the shipment, now what? Terrible experience!
Have contacted Cowboom, the warranty company and Paypal. NOBODY seems to be able to understand the most simple concept how can I have an extended warranty without the serial number. SOMEONE strike me down if I EVER buy from Cowboom again! It should be called Cows**t instead!

Worse customer service
I bought an ipod speaker system thru cowboom, dealtree/bestbuy subsidiary. Paid $18 for shipping cost. They shipped the speaker thru UPS ground and took 5 days. Then at the day of delivery, UPS informed me that they can't deliver the package as the shipper (dealtree) put 2 labels on the box with 2 different destinations. UPS has to return the package to sender (dealtree). So I called dealtree customer service demanding a swift resolutions. I was told as the package arrive to their warehouse, they will do a courtesy shipping no charge to me for the 2nd time. If not, i have to pay another $18 to re-ship the item that is their warehouse fault in the 1st place. The customer service (Jim [protected] ext. 318) made it sounds like it is not their problem and i should be thankful to receive the package in a later date. He even mention that he is doing me a favor by flagging the package instead of 10 days warehouse inventory before they can ship the package back to me with UPS ground. I was awed by their worst or lack of customer service. As a big company, bestbuy should be ashamed to hire agent with lack of customer service training. As I google dealtree, it seems like this is not the 1st bad customer service experience, many customers have rated this company as bad to deal with. I wish best buy acted to improve dealtree's customer service quickly before this company drag bestbuy reputation down. Avoid doing business with them at all cost !

Cowboom is the worst. Their customer service is a joke. It takes for ever to get an answer from them, and when they DO respond, it's to tell you that there's nothing they can do about an issue. I hate this company.
cowboom cancel two auction on me with no reason and no help to keep as a customer
Hi Steve,
I just wanted to apologize for the poor experience you had with CowBoom. The customer service rep who was handling your call mistakenly believed that UPS had attempted to deliver your package several times. If this were the case, it would customer’s responsibility to communicate with UPS to obtain the package. We have verified that you have now received the item and thank you for your patience. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience and have made changes to our customer service procedures to prevent this misunderstanding from occurring again.
Chelsea at CowBoom
Well I just received the same problem from Cowboom. A package wound up being driven around all week on a local UPS truck without UPS ever trying to deliver. I asked cowboom to get the package back from UPS and re-ship via USPS since UPS couldn't complete the shipment. They told me that I also would have to pay additional shipping charges even though this was UPS's fault, not mine. Cowboom chose UPS and they need to get them to give back any fees they paid them since they failed to deliver. This is not good customer support. I am just waiting for what I paid for and I am not paying extra for someone else's error. Cowboom, dealtree amd Bestbuy just lost me as a customer. I have other choices as to where I spend my mnoey and it certainly isn't going to be with a compant that puts the burden of others mistakes on the customer. Steve M.
