I was terminated over the phone while I was working an event because I was disruptive to the team. When I tried to ask the caller to explain I was told to contact HR if I had any questions. I have been calling and emailing HR and employee relations now for over a week with no response. I am sure my supervisor told her supervisor some bold face lie to get me terminated immediatly, because they did not even go through the steps of written warnings as they should have. I want to state my side of this story, but I dont know what they put as the reason for be being disruptive to the team. I am getting so frustrated trying to get this resolved. It was revealed to everyone that when our present supervisor took over the territory, that she had told several that her goal was to get rid of all of us who hired in the company at the beginning, She has almost succeeded. Only a very few of them left. She took time away from the team leads. At the beginning, leads worked 6.5 hours. Now we all work 5.45 hours.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Another CLASSIC CROSSMARK remedy for handling problems -- (it's all your fault) they weren't doing their job. They make you chase - chase - chase.. and fabricate situations in order to get them off the hook with the companies they bumped.
"whistle blower" retlation. When I was hired by Crossmark, my mother was also hired. The RES that hired us, is the same one who promoted me to a Lead position. My mother was still working with me. Nothing was said about direct relatives working together. This same RES was the one who pushed to get me her RES position. I was promoted and my mother was still working with me.
I recived a call from my boss, about three weeks ago, saying it was brought to her attention that there was a violation of company policy to have my mother working in the same store. Her boss was "really bummed out and didn't want to lose me". I was told that I could resign - "but we don't want you to do that", I could go to the Bristol store - "you don't want to drive that far" so "you need to git rid of your mom". I was told to contact my old boss - who was still with Crossmark with the Walmart division, to have her transfered. I asked what kind of time line I had as my mother was 75 and finding a job wasn't easy. I was never given an answer.
I contacted my old boss, she had no openings. Mom has been searching for another job. I had a conservation with my boss on 1/19/2012, she called me asking if I had this problem taken care of. I told her my mother was still working, there were no openings with Walmart. My mother was lokking for a job with no luck. I started to say "So, you want me to fire her with out another job to go to?' and the phone went dead. I tryed to discuss this with mt boss 4 times that day.
Thats the last contact I had with my boss until I recived my termination call on 1/21/2012. On that call I was able to ask "So, does this mean my mother still has a job? " Answer "Oh absolutly!".
Before my promotion to Lead, there was another lead whose mother was also working at the same store. When I was promoted to RES, that lead's mother was still working there. My old boss "created an opening" - she fired a Walmart rep. and moved this other lead's mother into this position. I have e-mails about this move.
I think, could this be the real reason I was termed?
I had a great employee/employer relationship with Crossmark until I went to work in one of the Walmart's in CA. I could not believe how paranoid and rude their retail team was. I put up, patiently, with all sorts of bizarre behavior and lying about whether or not shipments had arrived for me, the vendor, to pack out.
Each day, it was "No, we haven't seen the shipment." or "Yes, it was in plain view" when it was nowhere. I even snapped photos of one product missing for a week, and the manager didn't realize I had taken photos and proved the delay, or hiding, of this shipment, and when he found out, suddenty he pulls all the boxes out of hiding.
I get blamed for not packing out the shelf for a week when Crossmark tells my by email that the client wanted to reduce the visits to one a week: I'm blamed for all this by Walmart, crazed management, employees. I'm blamed for the shipment missing, the shelf being bare, and put through harassment that hindered me finishing my other jobs to complete, until I popped off and told off the Walmart manager.
Well, the crossmark manager was very anxious to abuse her power, sided with all the liar managers, and I got fired for misconduct.
I laugh, because I've worked twice before with Crossmark and had a stellar record with them. That I observed about the supervisor at the Walmart I worked at, was that she really didin't know the job and slipped out early during the first week of training. When I know the Crossmark web platform like the back of my hand, she accuses me of not knowing how to read sales plans, and all these other blaming conclusions, that basically, because she was in that 'Good ole boy' loop, everyone believed her, that I couldn't perform? I made 400 to 1200 percent in sales when I worked sales, and my shelves looked beautiful after I stocked them. OIne day I did a particularly stellar job on the shelf, and when I went back two days later, either half the product stolen or bought, because the shelf was bare, the shipment nowhere, and I could not repack it, and Crossmark did not allow me an additional visit to pack the shelf when the shipment suddenly appeared when a manager brought it out from behind a shelf where it was hidden.
Meanwhile, cashiers were telling me people were stealing off my shelf.
Both Walmart and Crossmark are crimnally minded in my opinion, and I once really trusted Crossmark. I had NO IDEA that Walmart was so badly treating it's employees until I went to work in their Sacramento store to get badly treated, even worse, since I was a vendor. These people that work in these Walmarts are failure thinkers, and they don't like vendors, becauswe they worry that will get caught with their pants down when a vendor i around. All the mischief that goes on in the backroom: stealing, sex, fighting, abuses...
Then I was fired. Crossmark IS a cutthroat, punishing, stupid employer. Thank you for helping me pull my rose colored glasses off. NO wonder I was being placed in all these ### areas to work, at places in bad repute. One time, after working at Home Depot I was followed home by a pervert. I"m beautiful and this was sure a problem for some of the Crossmark team and their ### clients: Walamrt, Home Depot, etc. All clients that have sexually harassed, abused, wrongfully terminated, and even physically hurt their employees all because they have no sense of diversity and are ignorant fools. When I once thought highly of Crossmark, , even referred new employees, and worked my ### off for them, they still spat in my face over soem triivial non-profane remark I made to one of the lying and thieving Walmart managers. Why elsewould he hide my boxes from me, or let someone, be so paranoid when I got to work one day, and then blame it all on me, deny the boxes weren't in plain view, unless he and others like him planned to zero out the product and steal it? It is a high demand product and this Walmart always had it's back doors open. Those employees were stealing the merchandise. I'm sure of it. This is why shipments were not available; said to be be shipped but no where to be found, and then hidden, just because management was corrupt.
