Scammers
Be aware, big scam! I was charged with almost 400 euros eventually. I found out the hard way and they didn't even give me back the 17 euros they had charged minutes before I contacted them. They use templates to reply to the emails as they don't care at all about your concern. I had to cancel my card too but I'm not sure I'm protected still.
After I started sharing reviews, two days later I was refunded with the amount of 14 months I had paid, while they had been talking money for 22 months. I had contacted my bank and told them about this service, and possibly the bank gave me the money (not all) back. Whilst I'm not sure that's the case, as the amounts seem to was given by the cvmaker and I read another's review claiming that they give you the money back so you delete your review (and my bank couldn't do much for the transactions that made more than four months ago).
In any case, I contacted them today informing them that they didn't refund me the full amount (14 out of 22 months) and they replied with the email that's shown in the screenshot
Stay away from them at any cost!
Unethical Billing Practices: My Experience with Cvmaker
I tried out Cvmaker on the fourth of April in the year 2021 and it only cost me about three dollars. However, I was surprised to find out that I was charged twice without my permission on the twelfth of April in the same month. They took a total of $39.90 from my bank account and when I checked the site, it said that they didn't take any money from me. This was a really bad experience for me because they were asking me to pay another $19.95 when they should have refunded me my original $19.95. I demanded my refund for the extra charge but they refused to give it to me. I was so upset that I even had to file a police report and I plan to share my experience on social media to warn others about this company's dishonest practices.
Cvmaker Review: Scam Alert - Beware of Auto-Renewal Charges Without Consent!
I gotta say, I'm not too happy with Cvmaker. I thought I was just paying a small fee for a trial period of their resume template service, but boy was I wrong. They ended up charging me a whopping Php1173.26 without my consent! And get this, they claim it's because I deactivated my account. Like, what kind of excuse is that? Auto-renewal needs consent, plain and simple. It's not rocket science.
Honestly, it feels like they're just trying to scam people out of their hard-earned money. I mean, I paid for a service and they took advantage of that by saving my payment info without my permission. That's just not right.
I really think they should be reported and shut down. It's not fair to people who are just trying to improve their resumes and get ahead in their careers. We shouldn't have to worry about being ripped off by companies like Cvmaker.
So, if you're thinking about using their services, I'd say think twice. You never know when they might try to pull a fast one on you.
Beware of Cvmaker: A Sneaky Scam That Preys on Unsuspecting Customers
I remember using Cvmaker about a year ago. I paid a small fee of 2.5 euros at the time, which seemed reasonable for the service they offered. However, I recently discovered that they have been charging me 20 euros every month since then. I only noticed this when I was looking for a transaction in my bank account. I was shocked to see that they had been taking advantage of me for so long.
It seems like they are really banking on people not checking their accounts closely. They don't send any email notifications when they charge you every month, which is not how a normal subscription service works. It's almost like they are trying to hide the fact that they are taking your money.
I decided to file a complaint with them, but I doubt it will do any good. I am considering taking legal action and contacting my national protection court to discuss this matter further. It's clear that this is a scam, and they are preying on unsuspecting customers.
I would advise anyone thinking of using Cvmaker to be very careful. Make sure you read all the fine print and check your bank statements regularly. Don't fall victim to their sneaky tactics like I did.
Disappointing Experience with Cvmaker: Unclear Pricing and Misleading Charges
I recently tried out Cvmaker (cvmaker.com) and unfortunately, I have to say that I am not impressed. I was too late to read the comments from other users, and I have to say that I absolutely do not recommend this tool to anyone.
I was not aware that I would be charged after the "trial" period of 7 days, and to make matters worse, there was no notice given to me that I would be charged for a 2-month "subscription" which I did not agree to. I only used the tool for 2 days and never used it again after that, but I kept receiving messages to pay the "subscribed payment" of ?39.9. This is absolutely insane!
When I reached out to customer service, they replied that they had listed the pricing, but the "PRICING" is VERY UNCLEAR on the charging system. Furthermore, they did not inform me that they would charge me after the "trial" period. This is totally awful and misleading! I strongly advise against using this tool.
Overall, my experience with Cvmaker was disappointing and frustrating. I hope that others can learn from my mistake and avoid using this tool.
Beware of Cvmaker.com: Sneaky Subscription Service Scam!
This website called Cvmaker (cvmaker.com) is a total rip-off! They take your hard-earned money without even telling you that you're signing up for a subscription service. They charge you $24.95 every month without your knowledge until you finally realize what's going on and request to stop. And get this, you don't even have to have a registered account with them for them to do this!
The worst part is that they make it so difficult to cancel your subscription. You have to sign up with them after you realize your card is being abused by them, in order to cancel your subscription. And to make matters worse, they take the email you used on the CV and tie it to your "account" which you then get the option to cancel. It's like they're trying to trap you into paying for their useless service.
The service is designed in such a way that it's not even visible that you're not paying for a CV like you think you are, but a subscription service that is not displayed to you upon paying. It's a sneaky way to take your money without you even realizing it.
My advice? Stay away from this website. It's not even worth the $1.95 they charge to download the PDF you make. Save your money and use a different service that won't scam you out of your hard-earned cash.

Huge scam. They're praying that people will not see their hidden text that they will automatically charge your bank account, even if you don't have the money, ending up owing them the money(and if you don't pay they will also add another tax on top of that). Beware of cvmaker: Sneaky Subscription Fee and Fake Reviews
I gotta say, I'm not too happy with my experience using cvmaker. Like a lot of other folks here, I got hit with a sneaky subscription fee that I wasn't expecting. I mean, sure, businesses gotta make money, but this just feels like a scam.
The thing is, when you pay the 3 bucks to download your CV, you're actually signing up for a 30 buck subscription that gets charged to your account every month. And cvmaker doesn't exactly make that clear. In fact, they go out of their way to hide it. That's just not cool, man. It's almost like they're doing something illegal.
But you know what's even worse? Trustpilot. That's the site where I found cvmaker in the first place. And it's full of glowing reviews that make it seem like cvmaker is the best thing since sliced bread. But I'm pretty sure most of those reviews are fake. I mean, come on. If you compare them to reviews from other countries, it's pretty obvious that something fishy is going on.
Anyway, I tried to get a refund, but cvmaker wasn't having it. They just ignored me and left me to deal with it on my own. I had to go through a whole thing with PayPal just to get my money back. It was a real pain in the you-know-what.
So, my advice? Stay away from cvmaker. There are plenty of other free alternatives out there that won't try to scam you. Save yourself the trouble and check them out instead.
Beware of Cvmaker: Misleading Practices and Unhelpful Customer Support
I recently had an experience with Cvmaker (cvmaker.com) that left me feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated. I had seen their advertisement for a CV creation service for only 2 dollars and thought it would be a great option for me. I have used similar services in the past without any issues, so I didn't think twice about signing up.
I created a nice CV using their platform and was charged the 2 dollars as advertised. However, a few days later, I noticed that they had charged me an additional 25 dollars without my consent. I was shocked and confused, as I had not signed up for any subscription service. I reached out to their customer support team to request a refund, but they informed me that it was not possible due to their policy.
I was extremely upset by this, as I had not agreed to any subscription and felt that I was being taken advantage of. I continued to send multiple complaints to their support team, but they began to ignore me. I even tried reaching out to their live chat, but they only referred me back to their terms and policies and eventually stopped responding altogether.
As someone who is currently unemployed and struggling financially, this was a huge blow to me. I felt like I had been scammed and taken advantage of by a company that I had trusted. I even considered going to the police or filing a chargeback request with my bank.
It's important to note that Cvmaker operates all around the world, with websites in multiple languages. Their physical address is in Amsterdam, which is where I filed a scam complaint with the Dutch police. I want to warn others about this company and their misleading practices. It's not worth the risk to use their services, especially if you're on a tight budget like I am.
In conclusion, my experience with Cvmaker was the worst customer experience of my entire life. I was misled by their fine print and charged an additional 25 dollars without my consent. Their customer support team was unhelpful and eventually stopped responding to my complaints. I would not recommend this company to anyone and urge others to be cautious when using their services.
Disappointed with Cvmaker's Subscription Model: A Review
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Cvmaker. I thought I was signing up for a one-time service to create my resume, but turns out it's a monthly subscription. I didn't realize this until I saw the charge on my credit card statement. I reached out to their customer service team to request a refund, but they were not willing to budge. I even sent a few follow-up emails, but still no luck. It's frustrating because I didn't even use the service beyond the initial 7-day trial period.
After doing some research, I found out that the subscription model is clearly stated on their website. I must have missed it somehow. But still, I wish they had made it more obvious. It feels a bit sneaky to me.
On the bright side, I will say that the service itself is pretty decent. It's easy to use and has a lot of helpful features. I just wish they had been more upfront about the subscription model.
In the end, I decided to cancel my subscription and move on. It's not worth the hassle of trying to get a refund. If you're considering using Cvmaker, just make sure you read the fine print and understand the subscription model before signing up.
CVmaker.se's Poor Customer Support and Lack of Response to Billing Issue
So, I recently tried out CVmaker.se's trial version, hoping to create a top-notch resume with their resume-building services. However, things quickly went downhill when I encountered a billing issue and received no response from their customer support team.
Despite canceling my trial subscription within the specified timeframe, CVmaker.se still deducted money from my account. Naturally, I was concerned about this unauthorized charge and immediately reached out to their customer support team via email to request a refund.
To my disappointment, I received no response from CVmaker.se's customer support team, despite sending multiple emails over an extended period. This lack of communication is highly disappointing and raises serious questions about the company's commitment to customer satisfaction.
As a user, I believe that prompt and effective communication is essential when resolving any billing-related concerns. However, CVmaker.se's failure to acknowledge my emails and address my request for a refund has left me feeling frustrated, ignored, and undervalued as a customer.
The lack of responsiveness from CVmaker.se's customer support team not only exacerbates the billing issue but also reflects poorly on the company's overall professionalism and commitment to customer service. It is deeply concerning to see a company that seemingly prioritizes revenue over customer satisfaction and fails to provide adequate support to its users.
I strongly urge CVmaker.se to take immediate action to rectify this situation by promptly responding to customer inquiries and providing the necessary assistance. By doing so, the company can salvage its reputation and demonstrate a genuine commitment to resolving customer issues.
In conclusion, my experience with CVmaker.se has been marred by poor customer support and a complete lack of response to my multiple emails regarding a refund. I hope that the company takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving their communication channels and customer support system. Failing to address these concerns will undoubtedly drive potential customers away, as trust and responsiveness are critical factors when choosing a service provider.
I sincerely hope that CVmaker.se acknowledges and addresses these shortcomings, as it is crucial for any business to prioritize effective communication and customer satisfaction.

Unauthorised credit charges
I have canceled my subscription in January already and they are stealing my money at this point. I have canceled it twice already. I canceled it on their site as there is no other way to cancel it. I can’t believe that the can get away eith this so easily. I don’t have money because I don’t have job because there are no jobs in South Africa. What they are doing is fraud. I need my money back to buy food! $59 x 2. I am livid that they keep on doing this. I am going to inform my bank about this company as well.
Desired outcome: I need my money back
CVmaker Review: Sneaky Tactics and Hidden Fees - Don't Waste Your Money!
So, I signed up for CVmaker thinking I was getting a sweet deal with a 7-day trial for only $1.95. But boy was I wrong! Turns out, they didn't make it super clear that this would automatically turn into a monthly membership that costs a whopping $24.95. And to make matters worse, they went ahead and charged my credit card $50 without my permission. What a scam! I was so disappointed and frustrated with this website. I mean, who has that kind of money to spend on a resume builder every month? Not me, that's for sure. I ended up canceling my membership and trying out some other free options instead. Don't fall for their sneaky tactics, folks. Stick to the free stuff and save yourself some serious cash.
Cvmaker Review: A Scam Website That Tricks You Into Paying More Money
This website called Cvmaker is not a good one. It seems like a scam because they don't show you the prices upfront. You have to make your CV and enter all your personal information before they tell you that it will cost you 3E to download it. But that's not all! After 7 days, they will take 19E from your account every month. That's a lot of money! The 3E was just a trial, not the actual cost of the CV.
I was really disappointed with this website because I thought it would be a good way to make my CV. But instead, it turned out to be a way for them to take my money without me knowing. I don't recommend this website to anyone who wants to make a CV. There are other websites out there that are better and won't try to trick you into paying more money.
Overall, I think Cvmaker is a bad website. They don't show you the prices upfront, and they try to trick you into paying more money. It's not worth it to use this website when there are other options available.

Beware of Cvmaker.com: Unauthorized Payment and Poor Customer Service
So, I was trying to make a CV and decided to use Cvmaker (cvmaker.com) because it seemed like a good option. I paid 1.95 dollars on 13/2 to buy a CV and everything seemed fine. However, almost a month later, on 11/4, they took 24.95 dollars from my account without me even paying them! I was so angry and frustrated because I didn't authorize this payment and it was a lot of money for me.
I tried to contact their customer service, but they didn't respond to my emails or calls. It was like they didn't care about my problem at all. I felt like they just took my money and ran away.
I want to warn everyone to be careful when using Cvmaker. They might steal your money too! Don't trust them and don't give them your credit card information. I learned my lesson the hard way.
I attached proof of my withdrawal to show that I'm not lying. I hope this review helps someone else avoid the same mistake I made.
CVmaker Review: A Scam Website That Charges Unknowing Users for Subscriptions
Cvmaker is a website that you should avoid at all costs. It's a big scam, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. They charged me 2 dollars to create my cv, which seemed like a good deal at the time. However, a week later, they charged me 25 dollars from my card for a "subscription" that I never signed up for. I was never even told about this subscription when I was creating my cv or paying the 2 dollars for it. It's a big scam, and I'm not the only one who has fallen victim to it.
I don't know how this site is still online and still taking people's money. It's outrageous that they can get away with this kind of behavior. They should be shut down ASAP before they can scam any more people out of their hard-earned money.
If you're looking to create a cv, I would suggest looking elsewhere. There are plenty of other websites out there that are legitimate and won't try to scam you out of your money. Don't fall for the trap that cvmaker has set. It's not worth it.
Same in Sweden but thei do a ekonomic frakt tax for the Sweden goverment and this scam do money black with no tax
Beware of Cvmaker.com's Sneaky Subscription Service - Not Worth the Cheap Price
I gotta say, I wish I had done my research before using Cvmaker.com. I fell for their sneaky trick of offering a super cheap resume service for only a buck or two, but then they went and signed me up for their subscription service without me even realizing it. And get this - it's an extra $25! That's just not cool, man.
Honestly, I think this kind of shady behavior should be enough to make anyone steer clear of this website. There are plenty of other options out there for getting your resume done, and I'd recommend checking out some of those instead. Don't fall for the cheap bait - it's just not worth it in the end.
Beware of Cvmaker: Scam Alert for CV Services & Subscription Charges
Don't ever give your card deets to Cvmaker. I got scammed like everyone else here and they took more money than I agreed to. I paid for my CV and then they took a crazy amount of money a few days later for some "subscription" that wasn't even clear from the start. It's a total ripoff and I'm so mad I fell for it. I wish I had read these reviews before I wasted my money. Don't make the same mistake I did!
Terrible Experience with Cvmaker: Unwanted Charges and Poor Customer Service
I had a really bad experience with Cvmaker. I paid for a CV letter for $2, but then they charged me $25 a week later without my permission. I didn't even sign up for a recurring payment, so I was really surprised when I saw the charge on my account. When I contacted customer service to ask for a refund, they were really unhelpful and refused to give me my money back. I didn't see anything that said I was signing up for a plan, so I feel like they were just trying to grab my money.
Honestly, I don't think you need to use Cvmaker at all. Their templates are really basic and you can easily create a CV yourself. Plus, there's no confirmation of anything when you sign up, so it's really easy to get caught up in their money-grabbing scheme.
Overall, I would not recommend Cvmaker to anyone. Their customer service is terrible and their templates are not worth the money. Save yourself the hassle and create your own CV.
Cvmaker Review: Easy to Use, But Beware of Automatic Renewal and Refund Policy
So, I used Cvmaker to make my resume. It was pretty easy to use and I only had to pay a little bit to access all the features. However, I was a bit annoyed when I found out that my subscription would automatically renew each month without any notification. I only found out when they charged me a larger amount on the day my subscription was supposed to expire. I tried to get a refund, but the agent told me that it wasn't possible because "that's not how the site works". I was so mad! They didn't even apologize properly, just said "sorry for the misunderstanding". Overall, I think Cvmaker is a decent site, but they need to be more transparent about their billing practices.
ATS Beware: This Website's Resume Builder Falls Short
This website ain't too good for ATS, which is a system that helps recruiters to sift through resumes based on what they want. I made my resume on this website and found out that a lot of information was missing, even though it was in my resume. It ain't sensitive enough to be recognized by ATS. So when recruiters search for someone with my skills, I don't show up in their search because there's a lot of missing information about me.
Beware of Cvmaker: A Scam Resume Service That Will Steal Your Money
I recently used Cvmaker to create my resume and was extremely disappointed with the service. At first, everything seemed fine and dandy. I started making my resume and was happy to see that it was free. However, when I reached the end of the process, I was surprised to see that I had to pay ?0.99. I thought to myself, "Well, I've come this far, might as well pay it." Little did I know that after 7 days, I would be charged ?18 without any warning.
I tried to contact their customer service, but all I received was a standard reply that didn't address my concerns. They refused to refund my money and I was left feeling scammed and cheated. It's a shame that companies like Cvmaker exist, preying on unsuspecting individuals who just want to create a decent resume.
In my opinion, Cvmaker is nothing but a bunch of thieves. They hide their charges and renew automatically without any warning. It's a tragic situation that people have to deal with such scammers. I would advise everyone to stay away from Cvmaker and find a more reputable service to create their resumes. Don't fall for their tricks and don't waste your hard-earned money on them.
Terrible bunch of thieves
They lure you in, get you involved in a subscription in the 'small print' then relinquish all responsibility as they bleed money off you for a really amateur CV writing service
Go and get your Dad to write your CV It will be free n about the same level of creativity and professional input
STAY AWAY!
Absolute scam, take 99p then found out £19.99 without permission, completely misleading and purposely stealing peoples money , should write down clearly on the site , please stop it
