I was pretty upset about it
I was pretty upset about it. But then I called their customer service and they were able to extend my access for another 30 days. The course itself was pretty good, lots of videos and interactive quizzes. I learned a lot and passed my driving test on the first try. Overall, I would recommend CyberActive for their driver education course, just make sure you know about the 30-day limit beforehand.
My kid took an on-line driving course from CyberActive, Inc
My kid took an on-line driving course from CyberActive, Inc. and used my credit card to pay for it. The driving school they used sent me papers with the wrong name on it. When I asked for the right papers, they said I had to pay $30 more for special paper and ink. But it's just regular paper and ink, like what I have at home. I already paid, so just send me the right papers without any more ***.
This company ain't honest
This company ain't honest. They say they're the traffic school for Oregon state Sherwood municipal court, but they ain't. When you go to the court's traffic school website, they send you to some other site that ain't approved by Oregon. If you ain't been to traffic school before, you wouldn't know it ain't legit. They gotta put a warning on their site and not send you away from the court's site without asking. Ain't right to trick people like that.

My kid finished their online driver's ed class on 4/14 and we still ain't got their certificate
My kid finished their online driver's ed class on 4/14 and we still ain't got their certificate. We paid up and tried to contact the company by phone and chat multiple times to ask about the certificate, but they keep saying they'll send another one. We still ain't got it. We paid for the class, finished it, and need the certificate so my kid can keep learning to drive. Please help us out. Thanks.
I bought an online drivers ed course from CyberActive, Inc for my son last December
I bought an online drivers ed course from CyberActive, Inc for my son last December. We waited a long time for his completion certificate, but when we finally asked for it, they said we missed the 30-day window and would have to pay $15 for a new one. I didn't know about this rule when I signed up, and when I asked for a refund because I wasn't happy, they said no. They basically held me for ransom - either pay $15 or $35.99 for my son to retake the course. This is really bad business. I want my money back!
Driveredtogo always logs my son out, voice password never worked
Driveredtogo always logs my son out, voice password never worked. My son has severe DYSLEXIA & had issues with verification questions. Often, answered correctly & it said they were wrong, turned issue into IT several times. Finally, all verification questions changed to "Yes." Answered Yes to last question & it said we entered No. Pressed YES & it said we hit NO. Driveredtogo is NOT user-friendly W/too many hurdles & "security" measures that keep it from being effective. We were told we only had 1 more chance to log in incorrectly. Now they're saying saying we have to re-enroll & pay the $$ again. $350 & he is more than 60% complete. Is this part of the scam? Make people buy this again and go through these awful chapters and videos? I would like his account re-set w/an unlimited number of verification questions answered incorrectly. Since the system is unable to identify correct answers. Dyslexia is a learning disorder & he shouldn't be punished due an inadequate system.
I paid $54.95 for my son to take the driver's ed course from CyberActive, Inc
I paid $54.95 for my son to take the driver's ed course from CyberActive, Inc. They said he would get a CDE after completing the course, which is needed to get a permit in Indiana. But they didn't send it. When I called, they said they couldn't give him a CDE because of new laws. They wouldn't give me my money back either. They said they would give him the CDE later, but they didn't. I'm not happy because I only bought the course for the CDE.
I signed up at getdefensive.com for a Spanish driving course but it wasn't all in Spanish and they won't give me my money back
I signed up at getdefensive.com for a Spanish driving course but it wasn't all in Spanish and they won't give me my money back. On 11/23, I signed-up at getdefensive.com for a driving course in Spanish. The cost was $25.00. The course was only a little bit in Spanish. The text was in Spanish, but all the slides and videos were in English. I complained on 11/29 via chat with Beverly about this and she said they took down the Spanish part because people said it was bad. I said I wanted my money back but she said no because it was 3 days later. She said you can only cancel within 3 days. I'm mad about them not giving me my money back and also about them tricking me. They say it's a "Spanish" course but it's not really in Spanish. How many people have they tricked by saying it's a Spanish course when it's not? I want them to give me my money back and stop tricking people. I told the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation because they said it was okay.
I did the OR - Online Traffic School Course from CyberActive, Inc
I did the OR - Online Traffic School Course from CyberActive, Inc. thinking it was a court-approved course. But it wasn't. The website said it had a "State Licensed Course", and when I checked my state (in ***), I found the jurisdiction and selected the "OR - Online Traffic School Course". I put in my traffic citation case number, and after completing the course, the certificate had all the court information, even though I never gave it. There were two "warnings" when signing up, saying it could be taken to satisfy a court order and that if the court approves, it can be taken from any device with internet access. But because of court backlog, I found out later that it wasn't approved and had to use a different company. I thought it was approved based on their marketing. When I talked to customer service, they said it wasn't an option anymore. Another person had the same issue and got a refund.
This company is doing a shady thing with their shipping
This company is doing a shady thing with their shipping. They're making people pay more money just to get their certificates. My daughter finished her online driving education with A Skillful Driver (a CyberActive company) in September. They said they would mail her certificate soon, but we never got an email or anything about it. My daughter left a message with the company's chat box a couple of weeks ago asking about her certificate but never got a response. So, I used the live chat box to contact them on 10/22. The lady I chatted with said her certificate had been mailed on 9/11 and we were sent an email saying we needed to notify the company within 30 days if we hadn't received her certificate (we never got this supposed email). They only offer USPS with no tracking unless you want to pay a lot of money to get your certificate tracked. She told me I'd have to pay $15 to get another certificate sent out. When I asked why I needed to pay for shipping when I was never notified that the certificate had been sent and that it only costs a stamp to resend it, she said I need to pay for the "legal paper" they print it on, not the shipping. After a lot of back and forth about how much of a scam this seems to be, I ended up calling. The same lady on live chat is the one who took my call, so I asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor gave me the same song and dance. My options were to pay $15 to, once again, have the certificate sent with NO tracking, or pay $20 to get FedEx WITH tracking...for a piece of paper my daughter needs to get her license. And why would I need to pay extra for FedEx if it's supposedly the paper I'm paying for, not the shipping? I couldn't seem to get an answer from either one of the women I talked to about that...because it's a big scam. I ended up - very unwillingly - paying the $20 only because my daughter needs this silly piece of paper and I wanted to be sure it got here. It arrived today, thankfully, but as I guessed, there's nothing special about this "legal paper" that I paid so much for. It's literally a regular piece of copy paper like I use at home. Again, scam. Unfortunately, I read about very similar stories only after this all happened and I did some more research. My hope is that other people don't get scammed like I did. This company is the worst of the worst. Aside from their whole course being incredibly outdated, they're preying on young people who just want to drive. I'll be putting in a complaint with my state's Department of Public Safety that listed this place as an approved online course to try to have it removed from the site so that other people don't fall victim to this scam, too.
I paid $50 for next day delivery of my son's certificate, but it didn't come
I paid $50 for next day delivery of my son's certificate, but it didn't come. Fed Ex said they'd refund me, but the company won't. My son took an online driving course from *** and we thought we'd get the certificate electronically, but they said they only send hard copies. So I paid $55 for the course and $50 for Fed Ex to deliver it by 10:30am on Friday 10/11. But it didn't come. I contacted Fed Ex and they said the company could get a refund and refund me. I messaged the company and spoke to ***, who didn't know anything about the shipping or guarantee time. She said it would come after 10:30am, but that wasn't the guarantee. She said she'd talk to a supervisor and get back to me, but she didn't. I messaged again and spoke to Peaches, who said the same thing and said I'd hear back by 5pm. But I didn't. I messaged again and spoke to ***, who said no one had contacted Fed Ex and I should wait for their call. When I asked why it was taking so long, she finally called me and said they wouldn't refund me because it left their office. I tried to explain that Fed Ex would refund them, but they didn't want to hear it. I also found out that they charged me $50 for shipping, even though Fed Ex only charges $28. Plus, I had to pay $5 to download a copy of the certificate, even though they said they didn't offer electronic copies. The company seems dishonest and money hungry. I used PayPal and the transaction ID was ***. The Fed Ex tracking number was XXXXXXXXXXXX. The Fed Ex representative was *** on Facebook messenger.
