Perfect transition
About 3-4wks before I actually tried underwear and introducing the toilet, I had him play this simple game and he was immediately hooked! He knows to let me know he needs to go right when he feels it and he knows he needs to go right away!
Cute, but videos don’t play
My toddler loves interacting with the three characters, especially baby Margaret, but the price seems high for what you get.
In the video section, the screen just goes yellow when you click the play button. (iPad 3, as updated as it can get.)
I guess it’s okay but I wish you could choose like prince Wednesday or O the owl and stuff like that also make it so there is a time limit on
I guess it’s okay but I wish you could choose like prince Wednesday or O the owl and stuff like that also make it so there is a time limit on how long you can wait before pressing the toilet button so if you wait you end up having an accident so it’s more realistic
Does not work on iPhone X
This is extremely zoomed in on my iPhone X. The buttons are not responsive to touch. It gets stuck if you turn your phone horizontally. This app needs an update very badly. Don’t waste your $3 until it gets updated. Good luck on your potty adventures, fellow weary parents!
Need pants
My son is really starting to understand the potty "process." That is, except for the part when the pants need to come down. Daniel doesn't wear pants, therefore one might conclude that the game is really teaching my son how to go potty, which is great. Good work. Please add pants.
Just. Don't
The crying baby Margaret part of the app will make you want to throw your phone in the toilet and flush... So if you consider that potty training help, by all means download. If you don't want an app to turn you into a ball of rage (and totally not help train your child anyway) avoid...
Great but one thing
My little one didn’t know what would happen if you held it in too long, they thought that you could hold it for a long time, I wish it would show what would happen if you held it too long, like as it gets worse, it will lead to what would happen if you held it too long but otherwise, great game
Great Game
I really enjoy this Daniel Tiger game for my two toddlers! It's fun and colorful and keeps their attention! They are both in the process of potty training and this has worked wonders! They are excited to play it. Thanks for the great game! I will be buying other Daniel Tiger games just like this
Awesome
My son has played with this app since he was two. We didn’t start potty training until he was ready around 2.5-3 years old. He doesn’t have accidents but this app helped and continues to help. He always sings the potty song when he needs to go and stops what he’s doing to run to the potty! We ❤️ this app!
Not enough
Just got this app for 2.99 and I was hoping for more activities. There are really 3 scenes, water “game”, building blocks “game” and change the baby diaper. There are 4 non interactive songs and that is it. Oh and it’s all pee and no poop. I feel this app should be free for the kind of content. Disappointed
Good but could use a couple more features
My toddler loves changing baby Margaret’s diaper, watching the potty songs, and playing with Daniel and Katerina on this app, and it’s helped encourage her to sit on the potty. But as other users have noted, it would be really nice if the app had some fairly simple additions, such as a potty chart and a potty timer.
Update broke app for iPhone X
App display resolution is terribly misaligned. It’s not yet designed for iPhone X, but it for some unknown reason will zoom in and align left, and randomly changes alignment. The short of it is that it’s impossibly unusable .
Just not expecting such terrible experience with a PBS supported app, especially at at $3 price tag.
Love! But needs more games
This is a fun game to help with potty training! The song really helps my toddler remember to go potty. I wish there were more games though. My toddler gets bored quickly after just playing with blocks and Baby Margaret's toy. She doesn't even understand how to make the water maze game with the Cat! So, more games would keep her playing longer so she keeps getting used to stopping the game to go potty! Otherwise, it's a fun game that has been helping with potty training!
So many obvious bugs some fixed
1. If a block gets stuck under the truck the beeping noise will continue even after you exit the block mini game *appears to be fixed with new version
2. In the water game if a piece is to close to the water supply it stops flowing.
3. When playing with the baby post "changing the diaper" it exits out of the mini game and you have to re enter it.
4. Random crashes unknown cause. iPhone 6
5. Pieces for all the mini games are to close to the bottom of the screen and the iOS will pull up the menu. The little one is always pulling this up. Not really a bug but poor planning.
IF this game was free 3 stars because the idea of this app is great and is helping my daughter master the porcelain throne.
Since the game is a payed app and required me to be a beta tester 0 stars. *update since only one bug seems to be resolved and I payed for this 0 stars.
First version bugs, but great app potential
I really, really, really want to give this app a five star review, because my three-year-old loves it, and it's really helping him in his potty training.
My frustration with the app is that it keeps crashing, and there's so much "silence" in the app, that it feels like a mistake. (For example, instead of background music or instruction while you're waiting for a child to decide on an activity area, the characters just stare at you. In the "videos" section, there's no background music or instruction at all.)
When you're helping Katerina or Daniel on the potty, you can throw toilet paper on the floor, and while helping them wash their hands, there's no prompt to turn off the water, so you can just let it run and run. (My son is currently in "stinker mode," so he loves to tell me he's done both of these things.)
The characters take a while to signal their need for the potty, and often my son is bored with the game before that happens, so a bit of the "lesson" is lost. Currently his favorite thing to do is help change Baby Margaret's diaper.
As others have noted, the very first time I open the app on any given day, it only shows the PBS Kids logo for a very long time. A couple of times I've had to close the app and reopen it in order to get anything to happen. The loading part takes forever.
This app has great potential, and I'd love to see it follow along the lines of "Day and Night," and "Grr-ific Feelings," both of which my son loves, and are fantastic apps.
I hope they'll fix these issues going forward - The idea behind it is fantastic!

Does not work on iPhone 6
It goes to the PBS Kids logo, and that’s it. The app does not work.
Doesn't work
My son kept bugging me to get him this app for awhile & once I purchased it the app only loads to the PBS logo (iPad Air 2)
Doesn’t support newer iPad resolutions
This app doesn’t support newer iPad resolutions so there are large black bars on all 4 sides of the screen if you own the later model iPads.

I don’t care for it
I don’t find this helpful at all. How can you have a potty app and not have a timer or a log or anything of that nature. It’s just some rinky-dink games and song. This should be free.
Don’t waste your money
Doesn’t fit screen, zoomed in and play button won’t work. Very annoyed.

Very buggy on latest os
The screen goes into zoom mode where I can see on a small part of the window. Only way to get it back is to reboot my phone! Ugh!

Waste of money
Paid $3 and can’t even use the app. The game is so stretched out we are unable to do any of the activities as it does not for the screen.

Screen enlarged on iPhone 8
The screen is zoomed in on iPhone 8 and you can’t see the whole picture scene in order to participate. My son loves it but he can’t properly play with it.

The game doesn’t fit my screen
I bought this game yesterday and it is too big for my iPhone 7plus phone! I can’t see the characters. It appears to be too zoomed in. How Can I get this fixed?
