DazzleWhite misleading advertising, DO NOT ORDER THESE PRODUCTS

I ran across "trial offers" for teeth whitening.

I expected to pay less than $5 and now it's $200 later **WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT ORDER THESE TRIAL OFFERS**

I'm not going to invest the time giving details of what others have complained about already. But here's a list: Misleading advertising, hidden terms and conditions (a link at the bottom of the page written in small print which leads to another page of small print), unauthorized charges to my account, not giving cancellation numbers even though you cancelled, website links that don't work when you want to cancel, not allowing refunds even though you don't want the product, etc...

I just wish I had checked this website before ordering.

Don't get suckered by the "mom" angle, the "less than $5 angle", the "get white teeth on a budget" angle...

THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM.

For SmileBrite... You can return product for a refund. You need to call customer service for details. If you do want to return for a refund, do not wait until it is too late to return. Call customer service at [protected].

DazzleWhite Whitener trial scam

I won't repeat what others have said...only confirm it's a scam. Indeed, if you accept the trial, then you supposedly accept the program (at $85+/month). The lady I spoke with on the phone indicated that I would be charged the full amount for the supposed "trial" I received, even tho I would cancel! Definitely misleading in their advertising (normally I'm better at scoping this stuff out...I am in marketing as a profession :( Unlike some of the others, it took me only a few minutes to cancel the program (waited much longer for someone to answer the phone :( Also, when I asked if this lady worked directly for Premium White (or whoever they really are...the billing on my CC showed up as "Healthsmile"), she said she was not authorized to discuss that...which confirmed my suspicions and tells me she was part of an outsourced customer service/call center. Nothing like plausible deniability. My advice...stay away from these "trial" opportunities.

This utter scam seems to be happening in the UK too - just think of the money they have managed to steal from people - how do they get away with this and why is nothing being done to stop these scam companies!

DazzleWhite unknown charges, cancelation problems

I think I've managed to cancel my subscriptions.. and even after cancelling my card and asking my bank to make a whole new card/account for me after telling them what has happened.
My younger cousin wanted to buy something online, and I personally thought it was something on ebay at start with(so I thought "no harm I often purchase from ebay it's safe..)..
Didn't think much of it, at first and thought I just spent a little too much on my debit card but when I looked at my balance and a month late... (W.T.H.) £200~300 missing...

She thought herself too that a "free trial" was just you get 1 sample of the product.
She received just one out of two of the products (DazzleSmile and ShimmeringTeeth) since the payment and I'm being charged twice for both products and 2x monthly fees for the other crap joint to it..

I tried to contact the number posted over the net all day yesterday to find that POSSIBLY I couldn't connect due to not being in the US?
I got through to DazzleWhite to cancel.
On my statement there was:
Shimmering Teeth [protected] GB
beutyclub [protected] CY
Wellbeingtips [protected] GB
It's too early at the moment for calling them.
I found ShimmeringTeeth and Wellbeingtips are connected.
Only one I don't know how to cancel left is the beutyclub [protected] CY.

Does anyone know if this is canceled along with one of the product subscriptions (dazzlesmile or shimmeringteeth)?
If it's in need of cancelation on it's own and anyone who knows how to please let me know!

I live in the UK If anyone knows any of the numbers

urgh made a slight typo with my first line.. *I think I've managed to cancel MOST of my/the subscriptions
...don't know to call it mine or my cousins... she made them... but she made them under my card and details *angry*...
But she's just 13... I rather she didn't put it under her's I guess...

DazzleWhite Credit Card Charges

I signed up for a $1.95 trial offer of Smile Brite and a $0.99 offer of Dazzle White, based on a compelling story by a Worthington Ohio mom. I received a second Smile Brite kit yesterday, which surprised me. And, I also received my credit card bill; it had two charges for $87.62 PLUS $2.63 international service fee - one dated 14 days after my "trial" and the other 12 days later. My credit card company informed me that I had signed up for a monthly subscription; they can only help with charges that take place AFTER I cancel the subscription. I called SmileBrite and cancelled; the only way to get my money back is to return the product.

DO NOT ORDER THESE PRODUCTS - you are not just getting a trial. It is a ploy to charge you $90+ per month.

DazzleWhite scam

I ordered a "free trial" of tooth whitener from this company for $1.95 S&H. I am not a stupid woman, I looked all over that site for terms and conditions, read them and didn't see anything about being enrolled in a "membership" and being charged $87.62 for the product after 30 days! My visa fraud dept alerted me to this charge on a sunday morning..I told them I had no idea what it was for (the biller was Utlit Fresh Well!) and the number attached to the charge was bogus. When I received this so called "free trial" it came in a plain envelope, no return address, no paperwork inside saying how to return it if not satisfied, no paperwork of any kind, stating terms and conditions etc..nothing to alert me that I now had a "membership"...had there been, that product would have been sent right back...I had a block put on my card, but the charge still got thru..I went down to my bank and filed a complaint, and not two days later, I checked my account only to find that these pukes had yet tried to take another $87.62. I called the company, at first they claimed they had no record of me, I gave them my return authorization number, then they found me and claimed they had not received the product back (total bs, I sent it back priority mail, which cost me a lot more than the original shipping and handling) going on 3 weeks ago...they said as soon as they received the product back it would take 5 to 10 days to process the refund. When I questioned them about the 2nd charge, they denied ever charging me! My bank can prove that they did... So far, no refund. And trying to get thru to DazzleWhite is nearly impossible..they keep you on hold forever, and I mean you can hold for an hour if you have the patience...when you do get thru, you just get the same line from them...they also operate under DazzleSmile and sell the Acai...so I'm guessing this company is operating under different names. When I ordered there were no terms and conditions on the check out page. Interesting to note that when I googled the bogus number, I came up with web page after web page of consumer complaints about this company. Only after reading and reading could I find a real number to call them. My bank says they will give me a "provisional" refund if they don't hear back from Dazzlewhite in 48 hrs...good luck with that...provisional means that they will give me my refund but if the transaction is legit, they will take it back! The bank already knows they tried to scam me a 2nd time, in fact they put the money back in my account, and now I still have to prove I was scammed. Also interesting to note, while sitting in the bank, I read an article by the FTC about companies like this..the article said thousands of people are being ripped off because the terms and conditions are so buried in their websites you can't find them, or they are very unclear, so you don't know that you are going to be charged a huge amount of money. I filed a complaint with the FTC about DazzleWhite, also sent a complaint to the consumer fraud board in Aurora CO where I returned the product to. This has cost me a lot of money I can ill afford, not to mention probably about 20 phone calls to this company, with no resolution. I called the company on Friday, Oct 30th to see how my "refund" was coming along, again they told me they hadn't received the product back, and did I have a tracking number? No I don't, because I wasn't told to send it back any special way, but I did sent it priority mail, $4.95 and scanned the envelope to them, which clearly shows the day it was mailed back, the return authorization number.
They asked me if I had a confirmation number..I told them no, they said well you should have been given a confirmation number when you got the RTA number! Well that's not my problem, that's theirs, not my fault their customer service people aren't on their game. As far as I'm concerned, this company should be put out of business. They practise deceptive advertising, and they are not all that willing to refund your money even though they claim that "your satisfaction is our number 1 priority"..well I haven't received any satisfaction yet, and am waiting to see if my phone bill reflects any charges from calling this company so many times, because I also read in the FTC report that these so called toll free lines are not really toll free. I want my money back!

well, i am here to tell you that this company is unreal. First it too 2 weeks to get the item, then i was told they didn't have to give me the return address, that it was in my papers that came with it and if i threw them away that was my fault. well, your products really does suck. I had an allergic reaction that landed me in the emergency room. When ever you call the help desk...(and I use the term loosely) they are rude and just plain mean. It was like pulling teeth.

One customer service person told me he didn't have to help me at all...that he could just hang up and move on. I was told by one person that i could use it and i wouldn't be charged and then another one told me not to even break the seal or they will charge me. THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER.

i cancelled my membership and called back and was still on the books as being a member...and they were going to pull 80 sum dollars out of me.

DazzleWhite Deducting money from my account

To my surprise, $176.00 has been withdrawn from my account without my approval. I took several phone calls from Dazzlewhite and repeatedly told them to get lost. How do I recover this money. THe product is worthless and now they are deducting money from my account...for what?

Oh my gosh--this company totally takes you! When I signed up for this $1.95 trial offer, I looked all over trying to find out what the "ongoing" price would be for this little tube of whitener. I could not find it. I figured it would be about $10.00. I freaked out when my credit card statement showed a charge of $87.62 when I signed up for the "trial", and another $87.62 when I received my 2nd shipment. Then I saw another charge for $24.82 for another company. When I called them, they told me they were a "bonus" charge from the $87.62 folks. What an absolute ripoff! DO NOT BUY INTO THIS. I have called my credit card to dispute the charges, and if that dispute doesn't go thru, I will cancel with my credit card company. I would certainly be willing to take part in any class action suit anyone wants to start: julieandmike@frontiernet.net

These people are the ### of the earth. I have been charged three times for goods i never received totalling £150.. I foolishly applied for a free teeth whitening trial and have been conned. I tried to call them and it took 13 minutes of being on hold to speak to an operator and was then told i had agreed to a trial. Was told i would get a refund as i had not received the goods but have received nothing. Bad things will happen to these people. I am a firm believer in what goes around will eventually come around.. ###

Total deception at its best!
Regardless of what they say about their visible terms and conditions, they are stratigically placed where they know the probability of someone reading the fine print will be minimal.
How people that put these companies together can sleep at night, is beyond my comprehension.
The nice thing to know is that, what goes around, comes around, and sooner or later, they will get whats coming to them!

I'm VERY disappointed with you guys.
I just get my statement and -even though I telephonically agreed on receiving DAZZLE WHITE once a month for $4.99- I've been charged $79, 28 + $2.38 for the shipment on Sept 29th and the same on October the 8th.
Now, I'm going to my bank to stop these unauthorized payment, and you better cancel the entire order.
I feel you're stealing my money.

I won't trust anybody else in this web jungle

DazzleWhite Credit Card/Bank Account THEFT

I got stung over a month ago... I have incurred NO charges...
HERE IS WHAT TO DO:

*If you used your major credit card... call immediately and report it. Have them treat the account as if your card had been stolen (because basically, it has).

*Call the Dazzlewhite and ell them EXACTLY this:

"I DID NOT AGREE TO THOSE TERMS AND I SHALL BE SUBMITTING AN AFFIDAVIT OF FRAUDULENT CHARGES TO MY BANK."

and:

"I DID NOT AGREE TO THOSE TERMS AND I SHALL BE SUBMITTING AN AFFIDAVIT OF FRAUD TO MY ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE (BBB, FBI and/or FTC).”

Also tell them:

“I HAVE CANCELED THE ACCOUNT. MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY HAS IDENTIFIED YOU AS A FRAUD AND CANCELED MY ACCOUNT DUE TO THEFT.”

I would repeat these statements VERBATIM several times during the course of your conversation with Customer Care. It sounds odd, but it drives home your legal rights. I wrote down the statements (in quotes) so I could say them fluently. Say these statements clearly and strongly, repeat them several times. This strengthens your stand legally with these con-artists and they know it.

I was issued two cancellation emails that stated I was still responsible for the $79.85 charge. I kept repeating those statements (above) and I was finally issued a six digit cancellation number that made the $79.85 charge "go away". They still wanted to charge me the $1.95. I told them that my credit card company had identified them as fraudulent and the card was flagged as "stolen", therefore, there was no longer an account for the $1.95 to be charged to. The customer service representative then had the nerve to ask me if this was a checking account! I informed him it was not - it was credit and now the account was gone. The customer service representative now wanted to send me a check for the $1.95 refund (I am not joking). This is the point I insisted on speaking to a supervisor, simply stating, “I do not believe you understand me.“ - and I think the representative finally agreed. Upon speaking to the supervisor, I repeated the statements in quotes (above) a couple of times to her. She supposedly made the $1.95 charge go away.

I'm posting this every few weeks. It's been over a month and NO charges. THIS WORKS

DazzleWhite Rip off,thieves

In July 09 I signed up to recieve this miniscule amount of teeh whitener(under $2.00) with dazzle white .Immediately i saw that they were putting it on a payment plan for about $58/month! So i cancelled 5 min.later...i was told to jump through all these hoops ..recieve the package, send it back with insurance and a tracking #, then call in X amount of days(like this is all i have to work on) and read off my tracking # to get refunded, which took about a month, but finally i did get the refund.Now every month there is a new charge from different websites..myfitbalancer, EZYkit, and whatever is yet to come(?)its all small amounts, and when i called to cancel i demanded a refund which they would not do saying the product is not an actual physical product, but access to thier website and all this was in the fine print on the dazzlewhite page(musta been TEENY TINY!) These companies are all liars and thieves and i HATE it thaty they have ben able to steal money from my account every month...GREAT SCAM ya got goin there! Cant WAIT to see the BBB or FTC has shut ya down and somehow punished you. Your stealing from a breast cancer patient, how do u feel about that?

I've cancelled by DazzleWhite and the subsequent charges for Ezykit and Elitepack. Now I have a credit card charge for Dietplac SCS. I have phoned Dazzlewhite and they say it's not one of theirs. Has anyone come across this one and know how to get it cancelled?

The above customer service blather is a LIE. I cancelled all my subscriptions (none of which I asked for) and got cancellation numbers. A month later I've been charged $17.32 for "EzyKit" - I have no idea what it is and I've received no emails and no product. So even cancelling these things doesn't end the nightmare.

DazzleWhite scam

This is the biggest SCAM I have ever experienced. Dazzle Smile (aka) and Clean Whites (aka) are in the same fraudulent racket of stealing money from those of us who gave out a credit card number to pay for the postage for a tiny “free” tube of whitening toothpaste.

My first mistake was to get sucked in by their mutually self-serving internet ad bearing the testimony of an overworked (but now, elated) mother who had discovered the “perfect combination” of teeth whiteners in Dazzle Smile and Clean Whites.

I found that it was easy to sign-up online for “risk free trials” from both companies. In seconds, I passed the “Do You Qualify?” tests, and, with my credit card, headed straight for the “you pay only the postage” pages.

At that point, I didn’t question the contradictory implications of the “qualification test” Could one’s teeth be too white, or too brown to be scammed by Dazzle’s product?

Within three weeks of my order, Dazzle had deducted $175.25 from my credit card (two weeks apart: $87.62 each). And Clean White had deducted $79.95.

Dazzle’s"customer service" rep (who, told me she worked in Customer Service for Dazzle Smile and 28 other companies!?), explained that the first $87.62 was for the "Free Trial".

I never found any qualifying language on Dazzle’s website for my costly “free” trial. Nor was there anything in the trial package itself, which contained product information, only, along with the travel size tube of Dazzle Smile.

At my insistence, a Clean Whites “Supervisor” pointed out a dainty, pale square, at the very bottom of the “sign-up/credit card” page on their website.
There, in the smallest font I have ever seen— beneath the Huge Red Slashes screaming “SIGN UP NOW” “LIMITED SUPPLY!; “RUSH IT TO ME!. NO RISK TRIAL!—the “obligations” of the “free trial” were listed.

Bottom lines:

1) After spending hours on the phone, Dazzle said that they would credit the $175.25 to my card if I sent their two vials back (unopened).
2) Clean Whites said they would credit $40 of the $79.95, and I could keep the tube of whitener. (uh…thanks).
3) I would be very interested in joining any efforts to bring these corporate con-artists down.

I have dealt with 2 fraudulent companies who appear to both go under the name healthclns. I decided to try their 14-day money-back guarantee offer of samples. Of course they request your credit card for shipping charges ($1.94). What they don't tell you is that they immediately begin to bill you for both products. Consequently, I have two bank statements: one for Oct. and one for Nov. that show the following charges: 2 payments within 3 days of $87.94 and 2 additional payments within 3 days of $79.97. I never received the products. I returned the samples as required by the company statement within the alloted amount of time. I have written, called, worked with my bank to no avail. There are many people out there just like me that belong to a site called measureup.com. Our complaints fall on deaf ears. Please notifiy me if anything can be done to recoup our money. From myself alone, they have stolen $415! Thank you.

We were also scammed to the tune of £90 in total, before we realized, and have now stopped the card, , , , , yesterday we had another delivery, if we don't manage to contact the company, I guess they will stop sending it once they realize, it's an absolute digrace that people can get away with this type of thing, they should be stopped.

these people at dazzle smile are pathetic...they clearly are scamming people out of money.

Customer satisfaction is your last concern buddy as i was hung up on twice by your incompetent customer service advisors cause i kept stumping them on my questions.

Im just going to wait for the FTC to get involved here, and I personally will not give up until Dazzle is taken down and pays for their actions!

I had the same exact thing happen to me, before the 14 days was up, after ordering the Clean Whites and the dazzle smile, my c/c was hit for over 175.00. Calling did me no good, no refunds given, even after calling and argueing all day. I am cancelling my c/c in fear of additional charges. Someone needs to get involved and start a major law suit against these people. This is theft by deception!

I know your pain! I've been on the phone with 3 different RUDE agents TODAY! I'm SO frustrated and fed up, but I'M NOT GIVING UP till I get my money back...They took $87.62, $47.62, $87.62 again, and $24.82 TWICE! DONT GIVE UP EITHER! I've found complaints about people who threatened them with law suits and telling the Oklahoma Atourney Generals office and they changed their tune REALLY quickly! I called World Club Fitness today and spoke with an agent AND the MANAGER! And the manager called me a ### (he thought I'd already hung up the phone) I was so nice to them until they become rude with me. (I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about!) I've read their terms and conditions from TOP TO BOTTOM and there is NOTHING about World Club fitness, clean whites, ect...They just spoke about advertisements on their websites from "third party" companies. They claim to keep all your personal information private when you sign up, yet your suppose to recieve an email confirmation from World Club Fitness about you 40 day "free" trial and cancelation information! UHHH!#))*$#%...Get ugly with them and tell them that if they don't fix it and stop charging you, that it will be your lawyer calling next time! ;) GOOD LUCK!

I have had the same scam done to me in the UK. First of all, I wasn't even looking for the product, I was told to review for a "new company entering the market", for which I would be paid £200. This company became non existent, then I read about this scam. I have now sent the item back, so I SHOULDN'T be charged any more. I also cancelled membership with another company I was unkncowingly enrolled onto. This is a nasty clever scam, and I would be willing to join in on trying to get them for it!

DazzleWhite READ Small Print Reoccurring Charges

They are all HQ'd in Canada only distributed out of Iowa. It is a large facility that has many products going out. The building owners are in NY City. All the teeth whitening companies are all one company and the Better Business Bureau of Desmoines, IA were no help except they gave me the web address for the Better bus. Bureau for Canada. They have charged my account even after I cancelled my business with them. They are constantly changing their phone numbers and name. It's not much but they hit my account for an extra $3.95 in misc. charges. My bank BOFA is awesome. BE SURE TO READ THE SMALL PRINT!

I agree with it as well.. Totally a SCAM and this company even don't have a good customer support service. You have to wait (until you cell phone battery is dead). what worst happened to me is... I ordered Premium white kit, .. and told the guy (online assistant) what should i go in case i want to cancel the order... before even confirming me that he's going to do that.. he did (an impeccable response). well i told him that.. don't you have mind in your head.. i just wanted to know.. didn't tell you that do that. but basically he cancelled the shipment but i got charged for $1.95 approx. i told him revert my money back as the order is not shipped yet.. he said... that's not possible.. Next worst. if you want to return it within the trial period (if you don't like the product) you have to pay for the shipping again. and if you get (LUCKY) that they receive your order after 14 day trial..then you are charged for $87.xx and then you have to pay a BIG cell phone bill as you will be one in the million to get their customer support. Finally i thought, I DID a very BIG MISTAKE, , but i should take it... let's see what happens. Well. I'm very surprised that... they didn't send me Premium white kit.. instead they sent me... Dazzle white kit which looks like someone is playing people online. I'll talk to my bank and make this company suffer for what they did.

I agree! I just filed a complaint with the Federal Government here in the US on internet fraud. They are stealing our money and act happy about it. I was told the instant $49 charge, on top of the $1.95 charge for the shipping of the "14 day trial" is for another product that I 'agreed to' by clicking the submit button on the trial...for a tray! Why would I agree to a tray when this is a PAINT ON PRODUCT! So I call to cancel BOTH and, after being given 3 different numbers to call from different agents and waiting at least 10 minutes on hold for EACH ONE, I am being told that they don't just send a 14-day trial BUT a 30 day supply AND THEN CHARGE YOU $87 for it 2 weeks later. They want you to return the 'unused portion" and wait to see if you get a refund. So I told them that I would just deny receipt of the shipment...dubbed "return to sender" and they said no, can't do that. That's so they can say that the product was received and continue to charge. What I did was call and report my debit card stolen/lost. They can't charge me any more money now, can they? And when the $1.95 and $49 fee actually posts to the bank, the bank will refund my money for 'unauthorized charges'...I don't understand why they are allowed to continue! How is this legal? Why can't someone stop them? Maybe all the news sites that advertise them should be bombarded with complaints and they'll pull them from advertising. What makes me the most angry is the condescending way their customer service representatives speak with you on the phone when you call to cancel. I wonder how well they sleep at night. I wouldn't want their Karma. Not for all the money they've stolen.

Just been through the same thing. Can't actually believe they can legally get away with this. Was not allowed to cancel my order, even after 5 minutes of placing it when I had only just been told it was a subscription and not an apparent "free trial". And Premium White, I already tried your customer service line which is completely useless. I better be refunded quickly!

BEWARE! There is NO "FREE TRIAL" as stated in the many ads all over the Internet. After being suckered in to ordering the free trial, I called [protected]. I inquired about the SMALL PRINTED RECURRING CHARGES and the "free trial - pay only $1.95 for shipping". I heard a beeping noise in the background similar to a call waiting sound. The operator conveniently disconnected me. I called back. After being put on hold again, when I asked "What is that beeping noise?", this new operator stated that it is their phone system. This second operator stated that once you input your credit card information, the shipping system is automated and you will be charged $87 as shown in the small print. She stated that it is in the TERMS AND CONDITIONS. You are NOT just paying for the shipping as the slick graphic design of the WEB PAGE MISLEADS YOU to believe. The operator claimed that there is no way to cancel the order, even though I just placed it 30 minutes ago. A real free trial offer should allow the consumer to try the product for free and then decide if they want to purchase or not. It should not bill you automatically regardless of what you want. God bless them for pretending that there is nothing wrong. Your satisfaction is definitely NOT their concern. LOOK OUT! I hope this STOPS you from ordering this product.

co said one charge of $1.95 and called and said i owe them $84.00 a month.. so i called and canceled and theygave me a return number ..i sent it back ..1 week later i got another package, and sent it back.. got a charge on credit card $1.95 from beauty club..the same amount as payment of shipping of FREE sample ..and then a charge of $48.92 from varimi, llc on my credit card ..these companies are all part of DAZZLE WHITE.. now i got another package sent from DAZZLE WHITE.. what am i to do .. loosing my hair ... Yes i was bloody taken by this scam and I'm furious. It goes without saying that you should never cross an angry law student! I'm all for legal action against this scam! This is international fraud. I'm aware that this has effected many countries so i would be interested in co-ordinating a world wide concurrent class action suit. We would need representatives in each country that could compile all information and complaint testimonials relevant to their respective country. The power of this information combined is enormous! On its own, individual complaints will get lost among st the rest of individual complaints. Once we have a global indication of the extent of this scam we can forward all our collective information to each and every trade organisation. Next, we can obtain media attention. Anyone from Australia will be aware of A Current Affairs, a program which seeks out and exposes these scams on television. I can work on Australian media however, representatives of the USA, New Zealand, UK and any other nation would have to employ their own media coverage (although i will try and help).
I wont lie this will be time consuming for anyone who dares take on these ### If you have enough rage over such an abhorrent scheme, a scheme which i have read has ripped off money from a breast cancer charity, then please send me an email.
Please bare with me if i take a while to reply as i am researching the most effective means of countering these ### and not just shutting them down for good, but to make them an example of how the public has had enough! and yes, one person can make a difference.

DazzleWhite Credit Card Scam

This company DazzleSmile or Premium white is an internet business that is set up to get your credit card details and charge you with things you did not order.

The sole intention of this company is to take money from you under false presences as it is not a genuine company with a product that they actually want to sell.

They scam you false subscriptions to other companies when you pay for the postage on your so called free trial item. There is no free trial you will be charged around US $80 in your local currency.

They will charge you whether you receive the trial or not and you will need to spend time and money trying to cancel your false subscriptions. In the end they hope that you will be happy with only being scammed for around $80 and go away.

The owners of this company are living very well off of this large international scam they do not give a damn about breaking the law or the scam just so long as a majority of people will go away leaving them $80.

I am for a class action against the owners and employees of this scam company receiving heavy fines. Do not pay up and fight every inch and every yard until they are stopped and you have your money back.

The employees of this company are well aware of the scam and are happy earning money from the fraudulent action of their employer.

Citibank in the US informs its customers when they find the billing on their credit card, many banks are aware of this scam but as the customer is the one losing out they do nothing about it, well it is time to take action.

I signed up for a $1.95 trial product, and was charged a month later $63.80 for product never received.

They state that the postoffice said it was delivered but the postoffice does note keep track unless it is priority or express mail! Which this was not.

I called and they would not help me, , now i am on to the better business bureau..

I would Like to give a warning to all future potential victims of this company. I had ordered the free trial of Whitening Brites and canceled in the time frame allowed both (written e-mail and phone). To make sure it was canceled...Whitening Brites sent me e-mail confirmation the Membership was cancelled, which I saved and the Phone confirmation said all was canceled even though I declined other offers at the Trial Time. All was done so to speak. Going over My bank statements with my banker turn out to be very interesting to say the least! They never charged anything though Whitening Brites again. But instead changed the name of the company or whatever this business really is and Starting Charging me again, Without consent. I had no ideal what Dazzle White Max or White Smile was? What there Product Was? And never received anything in the Mail? So Why Was I being Charged with no consent? So Happens all the #'s linked around the same Businesses! And when I spoke to Someone today They first acted as if products were shipped to me, but When I wanted to know the tracking #'s and Shipping company they decided they wanted to reship the products for free? And As a reminder as all of this is said...I still hadn't found out what these products where! And Had never gave consent to any of these companies...The thing is why would you want a Product You still don't even know what it is and never ordered in the first place? Bad enough they are charging your account without you knowing with no consent...Some money is getting reinburised, but the supervisor is going to have to reinburised the rest within 48 hrs...they say! And I ask the man on the phone about these others (VH Access, Health Member, OnV/Weightloss) And He said he Put my Name in and It doesn't show Me? Hum? Well Why are they Taking Money out of My account? How did they get my info? So he couldn't refund me! Well I have all the statements to Prove They have been charging me. And if they don't refund me in 48 hrs. The bank has A signed affidavit ready to submit a claim on the Fraud Activity and it won't be over. I have spent my day dealing with this. What A Smack in the Face, Never Will I give my info to anyone else on the internet. I guess you can change the name of your company and reactivate people's info without a consent, Plus give out their info to other company's and try to get away with it...I also supposed these company's enjoy scamming people and feeling that is Okay? How many Name Changes have they did? The man on the Phone told me the change the name all the time! Well, I got scammed. I'll admit it. I'm pretty embarrassed about it.

I have been considering getting my teeth whitened by my dentist and did some searches and found DazzleWhite. I thought, "Wow, I can try this for s/h and see if it works." Well, when I got my package, I was already suspicious. The tube in the package did not have a label identifying the product and no instructions. So, I threw it away. Then comes the amazing part - the charges on my credit card for nearly $60, not to mention the other charges for $3.24 and $7.14 the recur on a monthly basis. When I saw the charges I called the DazzleWhite company and had quite an argument with them. They said I failed to read the terms and conditions and that was my fault. But, I did read them and found nothing in them that bound me to these charges. I told them that they were scammers and that either they give me my money back (which they didn't want to do because I threw the tube away and can't send it back to them.) or I would go to my bank and get the charges back that way. They quickly changed their attitude when I mentioned going to my bank. Hmmm, is that because they know they are scamming people?

Oh, and by the way, I went back to read the terms and conditions with the new knowledge that I was scammed and lo and behold, they have a clause stating that they have the right to change the terms and conditions at any time and that subscription to their product holds us to the new terms and it is my responsibility to read them over, and over, and over again EVERY time they change them.

Like others I have read today, I have been scammed by DazzleWhite. I signed up for a free trial sample via freestuff.com.au and then a month later got a huge debit on my Visa. I contacted them via their website and was told that it was because I hadn't returned the trial within a certain time. Seeing I never received the trial sample it was a bit hard to return it. I asked for, and was told that they would cancel everything. That unfortunately isn't the end as to date I am still being debited for things I did not sign up for such as VH Access, Healthmember (last month) and this month for Ezykit and Elitepack. None of which I ordered but my bank advised me it is because Dazzlewhite sent my credit card details on to other companies who are now charging me. I still have a copy of the email from DazzleWhite saying they have cancelled everything but I now realise that they must be one of the biggest scams going. Boy do I feel stupid being duped like this. I am now considering cancelling all bank accounts with that particular bank and reopening new accounts with an alternative bank just to get away from these scammers. How have others managed to stop these illegal amounts being taken from their credit cards?

I am a UK citizen who likes to think she is "street wise" when it comes to giving out my Credit Card details on the internet. However, i have been scammed by the Dazzle White free trail. I signed up for afree sample and have been charged around $13 for shipping. OK i thought - a one off payment of $13 isn't too bad. Then i received another tiny sample and another charge. Now feeling suspicisious - I Googled Dazzle White and found a host of other complaints and details of The Scam. Oh what an idiot! I have been charged the $87 like everyone else. Having read about all the hassle, I have decided to cancel by Bank card. I feel so stupid and my husband is livid. Don't know if he'll every trust me with a card again! BEWARE ONE AND ALL

I reauested a free sample of two products, Premiier Whitening and Dazzle White on Oct 24 2009. I was then informed that I needed to pay postage of $11.14 and $ 14.56 for the free samples.
By agreeing to this I submitted my credit card no. Premier Whitening then continued to debit my account with out authorization and unknown to me. I recently checked my last two credit card statements and noticed these unauthorised deductions:

I received the 2 free authorised samples and recently received another 2 products, which I did not order and are still packaged.
I decided to check my credit card statements for November and December and realized this must be a scam. I then cancelled my credit cardto cease further unauthorised debits.
I would like to lodge a complaint and ask for legal advise in this matter.

I ordered a sample as I thought of Dazzlewhite which turned out to be trial (my fault for not reading all) . Then was charged $72.17AU for product which I had to except. I rang straight away cancelled any furher shipments.I received confirmation of same but I am getting amounts taken out each month by elitepack / ezykit how can I contact this Company to get it stopped and previous charges refunded.

I too was scammed. I ordered a sample of Dazzle White and paid $3.oo for the S&H. Then I was billed $79.80 plus another charge of $0.67. I have tried to contact the phone number on my bank account statement but have not been able to get through. I will try the other number posted on this complaint section and contact my bank early in the morning.

I too do not remember seeing that I was giving approval for automatic bank withdrawals without placing an order for the product.

FYI, contact your local BBB maybe they can help and give you some good advice on more legal steps. Our local newspaper sometimes post Scammers, these scammers dont care about everyday people who work hard for their money and they just come and take it without permission, I DON'T THINK SO!.

What a ripoff! As if the product being crap wasn't enough, they use your credit card info to begin charging you for products that you never ordered. They get your card number for the "almost free" trial offer, then they go wild! They never answer their phones and their ads are totally deceptive. I had to cancel my card and I'm still having problems four months later. Hopefully, whoever runs this scam outfit will end up in prison - or get hit by a bus!

As a dum one I requested my "free trial" product and if I liked it and worked I would order it, but apparently I didn't realized that free is not true and after 2 weeks a withdrawal of $87.62 appeired in my bank account. It took me some time to get intouch with them. They told me to returned the item, which I did and now they say that I returned the mergendize late so I wont get the money. So now they have the mergendize and kept my money. What can I do?

DazzleWhite Internet Fraud

Both of these companies have apparently changed names in the one month since I place "free trial" orders. The Smilebrite web site is now for a what looks like an identical product called"SparkleWhite". The product ordered as "DazzleSmile" came with a "DazzleWhite" return address.

I received the "free trial" products. DazzleSmile/DazzleWhite (located in Utah) was a tooth whitening gel brush that did not work. SmileBrite/SparkleWhite (located in Iowa) was a tube of whitening gel with some very hokey application trays. I received both right at the end of the "free trial" period and did not have a chance to evaluate the products at all. I called to cancel both within the designated "free trial" periods and was given cancellation numbers.

But then the unwanted products started coming and the unexpected charges from unknown merchants started posting to my credit card. It appears that one or both of these "companies" sold my name and credit card information.

I cancelled that credit card. I hope that ends it. My advice is:

1. DO NOT ORDER dental whitening products of any kind from the web; or
2. If you have ordered dental whitening products from the web, CANCEL your order BEFORE THE TRIAL PERIOD ends; or
3. If you did not cancel your order during the trial period and you're now receiving unordered products and unexpected credit card charges, contact your credit card company to DISPUTE THE CHARGES and to CANCEL THAT CREDIT CARD. They'll give you a new card with a new number that hasn't been compromised. You'll need to switch any legitimate auto-pay accounts to the new credit card number but that's a small amount of effort compared to the many hundreds of dollars that would otherwise be sucked out of you.

Although I saved everything related to the original trial orders I couldn't attach photos because it's all in pdf format. But I kept it all...even the fine print!

Oh, after all of that I can tell you that the SmileBrite product actually does work. However, it's way cheaper to go to a dentist for whitening than to pay out about $100/month for the SmileBrite product (after the "free trial" period of 10 days) and many hundreds of dollars more for other things that either don't work or weren't even ordered by you.

Are you the same company that puts a clock timer on signing up for the "free trial" offer?!? And no, your "offer details" is in the proverbial fine print and it is not easily evident that people will be charged hundreds of dollars before they realize what has taken place!

You ship on Tuesday (maybe Wednesday), you product arrives on Thursday (probably Friday) and I try it on Saturday. Six days have passed which leaves me four days to see if your product actually works before I have to cancel. In all good conscience, do you really think that is a reasonable amount of time with which to evaluate your product and/or, why would you not indicate in BIGGER MORE NOTICABLE TEXT that people will get billed $100 within DAYS of clicking the submit button?!?

You should be ashamed; you take advantage of folks that read your FREE trail offer only to charge them $200.00 a few weeks later. I spoke with your customer service person 14 September 2009 after the first SURPRIZE charge and specifically said “I do not authorize you to charge my card again”.

Well let me share with you and whoever else reads this. I am an active duty military member who already struggle to provide for his family while fighting and sacrificing for this country. I had to explain to my wife today why her car payment was returned because of your unauthorized charge. It people and companies like yours that use gimmicks and the word FREE to lure in people like myself who believe in this country…Silly me.
I’m sure when I talk to base legal tomorrow they will tell me it nothing they can do to help me. Never the less I will still continue to fight for you and this great country.

Dazzle Smile in Spanish Fork, Utah was O.K. in dealing with my cancellation. I didn't even use the dazzle smile stick for a week as I thought it dried out. It was only when my Chase card fraud dept. called me telling me that my card was charged was my first clue
there was not clear communication between business associate consent to charges.

Dazzle white from Aurora, CO was not. They continue to tell me that had I not opened the free sample I would not have been charged $97.32. They mail you two plastic teeth molds that melted into these teeny weeny molds and some transparent get that bubbles in the molds. The shade of my teeth are the same after one vile. While they allow you a 14 day trial period, if you do not return product unused, then there's no credit. And, the package arrives with no paper inside and only an address on the outside.
Apparently their definition of a "sample" differs from Webster. "to take a sample or samples of, to test as to quality." And, yes, the product arrives in a week or so. Also, their address is a secret. Darrin told me he would e mail me the address. I still don't have it in my in box. He told me four days ago. I had to call back and ask for the address again.
No reply e mails so there's no way to communicate with the company. They think
you owe them the money and continue to tell you that you agreed to take the sample so you agreed to pay them $.99 + $97.32 which since you gave them your credit card you did agree.

DazzleWhite Unauthorized charges after sending product back

Signed up for a free trial of teeth whitening, then received 2 packages in mail. I was verbally told by representative that it was a RISK-FREE trial, that unused product did not have to be returned. Well, I received another product that I did not order, and two hefty charges on my account. I was also signed up automatically for a weight loss club membership and a diet program membership. I was unaware of these.

I then called, was told that if I wanted a refund and to not be charged again, I would have to return packages. I was given RMA numbers, and returned the packages via Delivery Confirmed USPS First-Class Parcel. I just found two additional charges on my account. The number they provided on the actual charge on my account is out of order [protected], I found the number by your website!

These people need to be stopped, I am one of many victims of their scam.

DazzleWhite scam/ breaking the law

Please send your report to the Federal trade Commission at www.FTC.gov as well as the better business bureau.

Same boat, not only did they charge $79.28 for the free trial (which actually was not free) then another $80 x 2 for the first month which was charged 14 days later. Plus they sign you up for additional "memberships" to websites that charge your credit card for $6 to $8 monthly. I was able to get the last two shipments reimbursed after paying another $6.99 shipping charge. But couldn't do anything about the "membership" charges. All of the charges on my card come from Cyprus which will make it difficult to fight plus I was charged a $10 foreign transaction fee. Please help stop this fraud.

DazzleWhite Total Fraud - MUST READ

I fell for this scam too. My first clue that something was shaky was when my credit card company called me during the application process (an automated call) to verify the charges. Obviously they are getting wise to this scam also. I signed up with Cleanwhites and DazzleSmile 5 days ago. They each charged my card for the shipping, but so far I haven’t received anything in the mail, and I bet I never do.

ortunately I checked Google to find this was all a scam. I immediately called my credit card company and cancelled my card. If anyone who reads this hasn’t done that yet, let me tell you it’s the only way you’re going to keep these slimeballs from piling on the charges. It’s easy to do, takes less than 5 minutes, and in case anybody’s wondering you’re NOT cancelling or closing your credit card account, just your current credit card number. I’ll have a new card within 5 business days at the same terms and conditions, nothing changes regarding your account except the number.

I called both numbers the next day to cancel. It took 2 calls and a total of 55 minutes of sitting on hold before anybody answered. DazzleSmile gave me a return authorization number and an address to return the product to. But Cleanwhites just kept telling me they were going to e-mail me a UPS “return label” and I had to use that, and that they were going to charge my card $6.99 for as a “return shipping fee”. I never agreed to a return shipping charge and it’s not in the “Terms and Conditions”. I told the operator I just wanted the correct address to send the product back, and she refused to give it to me.

I’m mad just like everyone else, but here is the “must read” part: regardless of how deep you are into this scam, there is simply nothing to worry about. The only money you are going to lose is the initial shipping charge (in my case it was only $1.49 and $0.99 because I used the “promotional codes” in CNN’s ad. I’m not a lawyer, so I can’t give legal advice. But I am the owner of three businesses and as such I know enough about contract law to be totally unworried myself. I’ll tell you why and you can decide for yourself if you agree with what I’m saying.

Again, you should immediately cancel your credit or debit card number – in 5 minutes you can take away the one and only tool these thugs had to make your life more miserable.

During the process of canceling your card number, you will be asked to verify any recent charges you have made. I answered “Yes” to every charge I made up to this point, INCLUDING the Cleanwhites initial “Shipping” charges. I know that money is history, and there is nothing I can or should do about it. After all, I did agree to pay the $1.49 and $0.99. Although I don’t like it that these ### got that money, it is the only money they will ever see from me, and I look at it as my punishment for not checking this “deal” over more closely before I jumped on it. You will want to “dispute” any further charges from these slimeballs though, even if you did receive the trial product or the next shipment. By disputing the charges, all you are doing is putting a “hold” on the money being sent to the these jerks, long enough for the credit card company to make their investigation. Believe me when I tell you, the card company is on YOUR side this time. They will do anything necessary to eliminate card fraud, whether they like you or not. You won’t have to pay any of these disputed charges at least until after the card company is finished investigating, and they can’t charge you interest unless they find the charge is legit (which they won’t).

This con works because the con artists are banking on you feeling like you’ve gotten yourself into something that is ironclad, water-tight, no way out. They play on these fears even more so by being incredibly polite on the phone, because decent people like all of us are quite often easily disarmed by politeness and simple courtesy. They also know that decent people won’t usually be demanding when it comes to their rights, which their entire scheme is set up to trample all over. Although they are polite, anybody you talk to is already fully aware they’re participating in and party to a scam. The message here is getting yourself out of this does not have to include you feeling sorry for anybody on their side, nor are you “going back on” any reasonable or legitimate agreement.

If you surf some of the other ripoff sites you will notice identically worded rebuttals to each one from some minion in their scheme, basically saying that their “terms and Conditions” have you locked in to paying these ridiculous charges. All I can say to the person writing these rebuttals is that your boss is running an illegal fraud game, and you are an accessory to that fraud by virtue of writing these rebuttals. If I were you I’d grab your lunch bucket and get as far away from those thugs as you can. Then do yourself a favor and get a real job.

OK, here’s why I say there is nothing to worry about. First, the law is on our side. Second, the very device that these scam artists are trying to worry us with and keep trying to hide behind, the “Terms and Conditions” is also their downfall. Here is the exact wording of these terms, taken directly off the Cleanwhites website:

“Cleanwhites Terms and Conditions” - Start your RISK-FREE Trial today and we will send you a full 30-day supply of the Cleanwhites Advanced Teeth Whitening System. If for any reason the system is not for you, call Cleanwhites Customer Care toll-free at [protected] within your 14-day free trial period to cancel. This entire scam is based on a “retail contract” that two parties, the seller and the buyer, enter into, governed by a set of Terms and Conditions which are the basis of the entire agreement itself. A retail contract can consist of virtually any stated set of Terms and Conditions the buyer and seller agree on, but contract law in this country enforces guidelines and rules about those terms and conditions. The terms and conditions above actually lay out two individual contracts, connected by a 14-day timeline. The first contract is the “14-day Free Trial” which has to be completed by both parties before the second one, the subsequent automatic shipments can go into effect. These two individual contracts are separated by the paragraph space in the Terms and Conditions.

The terms and conditions in the first paragraph are the ENTIRE agreement between the parties, and contains the ONLY terms and conditions that the parties are have agreed to. Noticeably missing in these terms and conditions are the $6.95 “return shipping fee” that the scammers left out of the terms and try to add later. The terms clearly state that the buyer has 14 full days to try the sample shipment for free. Thus, the condition that you have to call and cancel “within” the 14-day period conflicts with the “full 14-day trial” actually makes your right to use the entire 14 days for free impossible. They cannot do that – you can’t set conflicting conditions or include a condition that makes any other condition impossible to adhere to. No court in the land would uphold those terms, any judge would throw the case out instantly with conflicting and the impossibility trap built into them.

Further, they start the 14 day “trial period” on the day you place your order, not the day you receive the sample. By their own definition, “you will have 14 days to try the (product)…” However, because they haven’t delivered the product yet when they start the clock, they are immediately in “material breach” of the contract…Cleanwhites is actually the first to default here as they have failed to put the product in my hands before starting the clock.

A “material breach of contract” gives either party the right to cancel the entire contract (both contracts in this case because they are connected by the time line) immediately unless both agree to accept the breach, which I don’t agree to and I doubt anyone else would. All that is required to cancel the contract under a material breach is to notify the other party in the most expedient way (verbally by the phone call I made to Customer Service), and follow my notification up in writing to the last known address of the other party by First Class Mail. I am going to send my notification by registered mail with a “proof of delivery receipt requested”. The post office will ask the recipient sign for my letter, and if they won’t it doesn’t matter because they are the ones refusing to accept it, which will be noted on the receipt.

Cleanwhites doesn’t publish an address to return the trial product to. That’s intentional. When you call to cancel the trial and stop the automatic shipment from happening, they refuse to give you the address, telling you that they will send you a “UPS Label” to send the product back with. Then they tack on the $6.99 “return shipping fee” that was not part of the Terms and Conditions. All their “Terms and Conditions” establish is that I have to “simply return the product, even if empty”. Nothing in the terms and conditions says that I have to return the product via UPS or use their label. They are attempting to make it look like they are giving me a UPS “call tag”, which is a voucher issued by UPS and paid for by the recipient of the shipment to enable the sender to send the product back free of charge. I guess the logic is that the consumer will think “Gee isn’t that convenient” and will fool themselves into thinking that it will cost 6 or 7 bucks to ship the product back anyway. Not true - the sample was supposedly to be sent to me via First Class Mail. It is totally reasonable then, for me to send the product back by First Class Mail, at my expense of an envelope and a First Class stamp, instead of an inflated $6.99 “fee” which I never agreed to in the first place. Simply put, unless Cleanwhites is paying for the return shipment, they cannot mandate a certain carrier – First Class mail is they method they ship by, and as such is a perfectly acceptable method of return. Anything contrary to this has to be disclosed at the time of sale in the terms and conditions, and it’s just plain not there.

I’ve already informed them by phone that I’ve cancelled the contract. As soon as I send my notification letter to them cancelling the contract due to their material breach, I’m totally done with this issue. I’m waiting to see if the sample ever arrives, and if it does, I’ll enclose it with the cancellation letter. They have no method of charging any more to my closed credit card. If they try to call me on the phone, I’ll simply hang up. If they try mailing me an invoice for the $6.99 “return shipping fee” I’m simply tossing it in the trash. Bottom line, for them to even have a prayer of collecting one additional cent, they’re going to have to use the system and challenge me in court. I’m not worried in the least that it will ever get that far, because they would have to bring their entire cockeyed scheme into court as a matter of record to even get a ruling. As crooks to start with, I highly doubt any of them wants to be seen within ten miles of a courthouse, for $6.95 or $79.95 or even a bunch more than that.

So, Cleanwhites, listen up – I know my rights, and I’m all done with you. I’ve revoked your access to my credit card, and I am simply not going to pay you anything more than the $2.47 you got. If you think your “Terms and Conditions” entitle you to anything else, tell it to a judge or a jury, because unless they order me to, I’m not budging.

So, is anybody else worried? I hope not. That’s why I took the time to write this. The Dazzle Smile scam is the same deal, but they do at least give you an address to send the return to. You should send the stuff back if you cancel, but once you cancel there’s really nothing else to this scam unless you let it bother you.

Do not fall for the DazzleSmile or Cleanwhites FREE TRIAL period. They say all you are paying for is the shipping for a 14 day trial of their product. The truth is once u get the product the invoice tells you that you are now signed up for a monthly charge of 79.99 plus s+h. They tried to do it with three different company names, and charged me for 3 amounts of 79.99 and shipping. I immediatley called the bank to cancel my debit card, and she then go a rep from the company "Health Club Services" which is aparantly the company responsible for the scam. After much discussion i disputed the three pending charges and got them removed

i have a friend who used to work at one of their call centers ..she said the only way you can get a refund is to get your bank to call them and let your bank (not you) request a refund. they will transfer you to someone else but you might be able to get a refund this way. also if you are calling yourself dont get mad at the operators...they actually dont have a refund button so they cant give you a refund so it does no good to argue with them it just wastes your time and theirs all they can do is read from a script...dont bother asking for a supervisor either. just have your bank call them and request a refund for you.

This is a total scam. My story is the same as everyone elses on here. If you cant get rid of the charges.

DEACTIVATE YOUR DEBIT CARD, or SHUT DOWN YOUR CREDIT CARD AND ASK FOR NEW #!

Thats what I did. Thats the only way to stop the spiderweb of charges, scams and lies.

The other company you will get phone #"s for if you dig deep enough is iHealth and Wellnes in Phoenix Arizona.

[protected] Dont expect any help from the "customer sevice" people here. But at least its a live body to yell at. I was hung up on twice as soon as I said I was calling about returning a tooth whitnener.

Go to the dentist or purchase a product at retail store< DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS!
