Absolutely the WORST customer service
Absolutely the WORST customer service. We got a new Delta Faucet less than 2 years ago that leaks. We've emailed multiple times, called multiple times with hours of hold time and dropped calls, had a plumber come 8 different times, etc with no help whatsoever. I just called today, on hold for over two hours, spoke to a nice lady for an hour who couldn't resolve my problem, transferred me to two different supervisors who couldn't help - kept saying to remove the handle (ok - if 8 different plumbers told me it's not happening and to call Delta and my husband who's a big guy can't do it, it's not coming off). The last supervisor hung up on my husband because it was 7pm and the end of her shift and she wanted to go home and not resolve the issue. Absolutely insane. Don't be fooled by their lifetime warranty. They won't help you, fix anything, or send you a replacement. We're remodeling our bathrooms and going with another brand. DELTA IS THE WORST! Shame on your customer service.
After reading other reviews, I realize that that my Delta Faucet product has a systemic problem experienced by many others
After reading other reviews, I realize that that my Delta Faucet product has a systemic problem experienced by many others. My single-handle Ashton kitchen faucet needs a replacement cartridge for the 3rd time in 10 years. After gradually deteriorating, the faucet now cannot be entirely shut off. Delta sent replacement cartridges in the past, but now they are ignoring me. I submitted a warranty claim on their website, but I received no response. After several phone calls and waiting for over an hour on hold, I talked with a representative who said she would contact me by email with a request for further information. I responded with all the requested information. I have sent 5 additional emails over a 2-week period asking for acknowledgement, but Delta has not replied. In my business career, I have seen this same behavior from companies nearing bankruptcy. It starts with late payments to suppliers and ignoring customer claims. This may or may not be Delta's situation, but it looks suspicious.
Delta is a terrible company, and do not know how or why they have been in business for so long. Their Brizo line is supposed to be their high end product. We have 3 of the same faucets in our home. 2 of the cartridges broke in the exact same spot where it screws the handle down. I spoke to their customer service, and they confirmed that this is was a known manufacturing defect, but would not stand behind their product because I did not purchase them! A $35 retail part they chose not to stand behind! Chose another company, and do not buy any products from Delta or especially over pay for their overrated Brizo brand.
I purchased a delta faucet2 Handel with sprayer. Immediately after installing it, it began to have a drip. I contacted customer service and was told they would send me the parts to fix it. I asked for it to just be replaced as I am a disabled veteran and could not do the work myself. I had to pay someone to I stall the first one. So after about *** a replacement. Now I have to pay a plumber to come out and work on it. And if this doesn't fix the problem then I have to call them back and see if they will replace it. She said IF they replaced it I would have to send this one back and have no kitchen faucet for 2 weeks then pay someone again to come out and install it, and Delta would not cover any of this work.so I could have to pay over $250.00 for all this work. I purchased from Delta because I thought they were a good company that stood behind their products but this is not the case. They put everything back on the customer. No one should purchased from *** again. I highly recommend not buying from this company
I purchased a Delta faucet 3 years ago. Should have read the reviews as I would never have bought one. Over a period of about 6 months the flow turned into a trickle. After writing to Delta a new sprayer came in the mail some time later. No letter, no email, nothing. Well it wasnt long before the same thing happened. We are reduced to soaking it in CLR every week. I dont have any problems with other faucets in my house but then they are not Delta. I had to give them one star for my review to be submitted, but actually I would not give this company any stars. Not worth it. Definitely not buying another Delta product. I will be writing to the company from which I purchased it and let them know and that they should read the reviews too.P. L.
I purchased a brand new house in July 2022. In December, the faucet randomly started pouring water out from the bottom. I called and sent in pictures and videos and the tech told me he'd send a handle repair kit. After looking at the faucet some more it was *** wasn't the handle that was the issue. I called back and the rep told me the handle kit would fix it. I called my builder who was in the area and he was like this isn't a handle issue. I called back a third time and resent in videos and they said they'd send a replacement cartridge and it would arrive in ***. I paid almost $20 for next day shipping. I received the cartridge, but it didn't fix the problem, so I called back and was told it was a faulty cartridge and they'd send a new one. The rep said *** days and I told her they should eat the cost and send it next day which she did. I called my builder and he brought over a cartridge and the faucet still leaked. I called back because I noticed the prongs at the bottom of the cartridge were stuck in the valve and was told they send another bonnet nut and cover and the pieces being stuck wasn't their issue. Due to the holidays, the parts won't arrive until Jan. 3rd. I told the rep the faucet was still leaking and she said the company likes to try to fix it at least 2 times before sending a new sink. I haven't been able to use my sink since Dec. 27. The handle kit that was ordered on Dec. 27 hasn't even arrived yet since it takes *** days unless you pay to have it expedited. The rep said if the new parts don't work to call back but them not working doesn't guarantee they'll send a new faucet.
I purchased a Delta touch faucet (model number X00074950) about 4 years ago
I purchased a Delta touch faucet (model number X00074950) about 4 years ago. The first time I had to change the batteries the top of the battery holder would not click closed. I put two rubber bands around it to help it stay closed and that solved that problem. However, last week the faucet began turning on by itself and also became less sensitive to touch so we are now using it like any other faucet and avoiding the touch feature. I have called the customer service number for Delta 3 times this week and have been on hold for 20-30 minutes each time before hanging up. One time I was told that my wait time was 4 and 1/2 minutes but after about 20 minutes I hung up. The site said I could also email them my issue which I did 3 days ago. I have still not heard back. I called a plumber but he said Delta will not provide him with any parts and that they only deal with the home owner. I don't know what else to do and was going to look in to contacting someone high up in the company. When I looked in to company complaints I saw the ComplaintsBoard.com site.
Ordered bathroom shower faucet and they sent it and it was missing a part. We have been trying to get the right part mailed to us for 2 months now and they keep sending the wrong part. They refuse to resend the entire faucet set again only the piece we are missing which they cant get that right either. Still have a non functional shower now for 2 months definitely dont recommend going delta their customer service
Have had delta kitchen faucet for over twenty years. After replacing parts several times it became impossible to repair. Delta customer service has always been very helpful and said they wound send a new one. It arrived in a few days. Great service and great people. Thanks!
Terrible to do business with! My glass shower door cracked in thousands of pieces after only a year. It took me 6 weeks to finally get through to a 'REAL' person and then *** told me I should order a new one and send her the receipt. After buying a new one, paying someone to install it (which they won't reimburse me for), I have tried to send the receipt to the company and NO ONE is responding to me! This is crazy! I need to get reimbursed, they are the WORST company to deal with, terrible customer service. Very few e-mail responses, VERY rarely answers my calls. I am losing my mind with this company, some one please help!
Developed a problem with a kitchen faucet purchased in July. I sent an email and literally within minutes they responded with a set of directions to solve the problem. Additionally, they created a shipping order for a handle repair kit the cost of which is over $50.00. One of the best companies I have dealt with in a very, very long time. Thank you Delta Faucets.
Years ago I purchased delta faucets for my entire 2 story home
Years ago I purchased delta faucets for my entire 2 story home. The kitchen faucet was a factory defect from day one which could only be fixed by replacing the entire valve body. Over the years I have gone back and forth with Delta Customer service Reps. They continuously send me parts that do not fix the issue and each time it becomes clear that the issue is the valve body they refuse to replace it and offer me a discount to purchase a new faucet. So many years of emails going around in circles as Delta Customer Service keeps changing Reps on me causing me to start over again and again. Each attempt to escalate my claim is met without any response or call back. At this point they have never honored their warranty since day one on replacing my defective faucet. And the closer I get to showing clearly the defect the more hoops they keep creating for me to jump thru. So much run around and story changing over the years all to avoid standing behind their defective faucet as each Rep has a new bag of tricks to avoid replacing the faucet.
I purchased 3 delta *** products and the *** and *** skills have been disabled by delta. Their support says there is no timeline for when they will start working again. I would not have purchased delta if I had known this.
The faucet will only shut off in a a specific spot. I was very dissatisfied. The faucet has a life Time warranty. After having the faucet 3 years, Delta refused to refund our money. This is a Delta ***.
I bought a Delta Touchless faucet with a lifetime warranty. It does not work and Delta customer service says Im stuck with it and refuses to help me. Will never buy a Delta product again.
Amazing customer service.Very effective web site to help ID products. Live customer service specialist answered phone in like one ring. Im floored and impressed. Its Delta from now until the end for me
Terrible Handheld shower
Terrible Handheld shower. Thank Goodness Delta Faucet Company Discontinued Lifetime warranty, and they think you are making up things that the product keeps breaking. Have had several replacements on the one that they finally discontinued as the buttons kept breaking. So to try and get the new and improved version, I called and spoke to a customer service representative. Had to email pictures of the 2 broken shower heads. She asked me to return call to make sure the email went through attached with pictures. So I returned call after email was sent on my end. Of course, I couldn't speak with the same representative. The representative I spoke with was rude. Acted as if she really didn't want to help. Finally, she checked and said email was there and they would send replacements, but suggested I flush my system before installing? I have nothing to do with maintaining the county water system. Besides Delta Faucet Company has a lifetime warranty. I hope that the last person I spoke with is in a better mood when she goes home. Maybe she needs to stay there. Just saying. No sense in being treated as rudely as that when their product is what has failed several times.

I asked for it to just be replaced as I am a disabled veteran and could not do the work myself. I had to pay someone to install the first one. So after about [insert appropriate time frame], I received a replacement. Now I have to pay a plumber to come out and work on it. I work for the largest residential plumbing company here in phoenix and replaced a number of bathroom faucets over the years
I work for the largest residential plumbing company here in phoenix and replaced a number of bathroom faucets over the years. As most people know Phoenix has really hard water and its corrosive to anything and everything. I have 3 Delta 4" faucets in my bathrooms and 1 Moen kitchen faucet. I had to replace them all. I called Moen told them who I was and what I did for a living and described the problem and 5 days later I had a new kitchen faucet as per the warranty. For Delta I called talked to the rep, sent photos waited on hold for half an hour (twice) The first answer I get from one of their reps was they'll give me a 25% discount on my replacements. I received that information via text s when I called back to follow up the next rep gave me a different answer all together and said they would send me a part. When I explained that wouldn't help he ignored me and sent them anyway. When I asked why I got two different answers on the same day to what they planned to do. He asked curtly, is there anything else I can do for you? Without answering my question. Just felt like a used car dealer, trying to minimize warranty costs rather than keep a customer.
I have two identical Delta faucets purchased from a local home improvement store and installed in my bathroom
I have two identical Delta faucets purchased from a local home improvement store and installed in my bathroom. I noticed some tarnishing at the base of one of the spouts. Upon discovering Delta offered a lifetime warranty, I called the company. They had me take pictures, etc. Also, while taking pictures I discovered a sharp broken corner of the handle piece. They determined that I had cleaned them with the wrong cleaner and offered a 25% discount on a new one. I told them both were cleaned with the same products and the other one still looks new after a few years. A year later it came to me that the tarnish is all around one band at the base of one faucet and nowhere else. I thought maybe I could just get that part replaced as well as the handle. They said there are no replacement parts so you have to buy the entire set. Again they offered 25% discount bought only from them. Their price with the discount was about $15.00 higher than I can buy from the local home improvement store now and almost $100.00 higher than I originally paid. He said they are honoring their warranty by offering me the discount. That is not a lifetime warranty! I think their products are beautiful and for the most part well made and will possibly buy Delta Faucets in the future. I'm just so disappointed that there is a defect in this one.
I am utterly disappointed by your service
I am utterly disappointed by your service. Back in March I was communicating with Delta inexperienced and unintelligent representatives about my brand new kitchen Brizo faucets which kept on dripping when hot water was turned on. Initially, I was surprised to see that this could happen to a brand new and expensive product. As we recently moved and chose the top brand for everything, we did full research on faucets, drains and showers all over our three story new house. We confirmed with many of our colleagues that Delta is the name we could trust. Unfortunately, Delta is NOT trusted. Under Reference # ***, we have been sent 2 new cartridges in April, I have been calling multiple times, every day, every time, to get help on installing it. I was disgusted when there was NO representative being able to help me assemble and install a stupid faucet cartridge which should've taken not more than 3 minutes. This has been going back and forth for THREE months and taking way too long. When I realized that there is no one to talk to, or to gain instructions from, I requested a new faucet "along with an instruction sheet" or at least provide a plumber if you can't provide instructions. It is now a full month later and I AM STILL WITHOUT RUNNING HOT WATER FOR THE PAST FOUR MONTHS. This is truthfully ridiculous. We need to solve this issue immediately.-

This was my claim Case #: *** I bought a Delta® Carlisle™ Two-Handle 4" Centerset Bathroom Faucet in Brushed Nickel Model Number: 25939LF-SS Menards® SKU: 6730046 from Menard for a bathroom remodel and it's been installed for about 3 years now and this faucet is already corroding all around the base. We have for other faucet in the house and none of them are corroding and they are original with the house and we've live here for 16 years so far so this faucet has to be poorly made with cheap materials. Model number was 25939LF-SS for stainless steel with a brushed nickel look this faucet should have never corroded but did in just a few years and here what they replied with. We would be more than happy to offer you 25% off our list price on the model 25939LF-SS found on our website www.deltafaucet.com (excluding our Outlet store) and purchased directly through our customer service number. You may view our current products at www.deltafaucet.com. If you would like to purchase a replacement faucet directly from us at 25% off, please browse our website listed above and call our customer service department . Please give the representative the case number listed in the subject line of this email and they will be able to complete the transaction for you . They also were very slow in responding and we went back and forth with emails and pictures for a month only for them to say corrosion not covered. Stainless steel should never corrode and it's the only faucet in my house that did.
Truly the worst organization I have ever done business with
Truly the worst organization I have ever done business with. We bought a Brizo shower in 2018, and it leaked when turned off less than a year later. Brizo sent us a replacement cartridge to "fix" the problem, but it didn't work, and the shower was leaking a few months later. I asked for overnight shipping for this replacement part (the same one), and was told it was not available? This makes NO sense at all, but I didn't push it. When it leaked again, for the 3rd time now, the customer service person told me we also needed a nut to go with the volume cartridge, and that would fix the problem. These parts also took a week to get here. And of course it didn't work!Fast forward to last week, when the shower started leaking for the 4th time! I called Brizo, and after an hour on the phone was able to get a supervisor who told me they would send the entire rough unit, and would try to get it sent overnight. Both were a lie. The part they sent, the same volume cartridge they had sent 3 previous times, was not sent expedited, and is not what I was told I would receive. Each time this clearly poorly made shower leaks, I not only have to stop using the shower for a week or more because somehow in Brizo world overnight shipping does not exist. I also have to pay a plumber each time to replace the poorly made cheap cartridge, that I know will fail within a year. It's incredible how bad this company is. The shower is junk, the customer service is a joke, and they do not care at all. I would strongly advise anyone considering buying Delta or Brizo to reconsider.

I purchased a Delta faucet model number 400-ss-dst within several months after installation I started getting divots in the plate the faucet is leaking where it pivots they handle sprayer stays on. I had to pay for a plumber to come out and install this faucet which cost me more than the faucet itself. I contacted Delta faucets showing them pictures of all the problems that is happening to this faucet. They told me that the divots look like something had been dropped on it which I had repeatedly told them that nothing has dropped on it to cause the divots in the plate cover itself but they insist that they can do nothing for me for that as it looks like something was dropped on it so it was a waste of my time to explain to them that the divot started showing up shortly after the faucet got installed. I told them I was very upset that I have to figure out how to get the money to have someone come and fix all the problems that I'm having with the faucet itself the leaking in the handle spray staying on. They don't care they said there's nothing they can do this is such a shame for Delta I thought was a good company. I am a very upset customer I do not have the money to keep having a plumber come out and fix problems with Delta's faucet. I do not recommend Delta faucets. I have had many faucets and I have never had one have this many problems the faucets I've had before were no names. The only resolution that Delta has for me is they'll send me all the parts but unfortunately I don't have the funds to have someone come back out and fix the problems with their faucet.

I bought a Delta kitchen faucet in 2019 and I have had it repaired twice
I bought a Delta kitchen faucet in 2019 and I have had it repaired twice. The latest repair was in August 2022. It is dripping again and I called customer service to plead my case. I told the representative that the cost of hiring a plumber has now cost me more than the original cost of the faucet and it is leaking again. She told me, "This is why we have a lifetime guarantee on parts, cartridges wear out." I asked, "In less than three months?" I asked for a replacement. She told me she could not do that. I asked for a new model because the model I bought for almost $300 was clearly defective. She told me she could not do that. I told her if she cannot make me happy, I will call my plumber and have him buy me a faucet he can stand behind, since Delta obviously cannot stand behind their products--even when they are obviously a poor design. If I could give your company a zero score instead of a one-star rating, this would be how I would rate your service. I cannot believe that your company became a household brand by your current lack of customer concern. Perhaps, it is a sign of the time. I plan to call Delta again, hopefully reach a different customer service representative or a supervisor, and receive a better response. Should that happen, I will enter another review that will counter this one. As a previously self-employed businesswoman, I know the importance of positive reviews and the impact of negative ones. After nine years of running my own company, I earned a 5-star rating. I stood behind my clients and ensured they were satisfied with my work. Rarely did I have a client that was not fully appreciative of the service I provided. However, for those few who were not satisfied, I made it right--even if it meant I lost money. Client satisfaction, I believe, is more important than the "bottom line. This is how a company should be run and I would imagine, when your company began in ***, this was your motto as well.
I purchased a Delta faucet, an Ashton model, on January 8th, 2022
I purchased a Delta faucet, an Ashton model, on January 8th, 2022. From day one the water solenoid made a squeak sound when turning on and off. In early March, the faucet would recognize touch signals, as the temperature light would come on, but the water valve would stop working for a few days and then start working again. I changed the batteries, but it did not resolve the situation. In late March, the water valve stopped working entirely, but the touch sensor still worked as the water temperature indication was working fine and the faucet could still be operated manually. On April 18th, I contacted customer service, provided all the information needed, and the representative stated they would be sending a new valve unit. Today, July 15th, I contacted customer service again to get a status on the warrantied part, as they state on their website they are having supply issues. The representative stated they had no record of the April conversation or had shipped any warrantied part out. The representative then wanted to try and trouble shoot the issue, which was great. The representative sent a text and I replied with images of the installation (battery pack orientation, water valve, and connected touch sensor wire). I re-iterated that the touch sensor portion was working fine, as temperature lighting was activating, but the valve was not working as it should. The representative then wanted me to get under the sink and disconnect the battery pack and then the touch sensor wire, while trying to continue to talk on the phone. I stated again the touch sensor was working fine, but the valve was not. At that time I chose to end the call as the representative was not listening and appeared to just be reading a trouble shooting manual without truly understanding the root problem. I've owned many Delta products and have have parts fail, but after years of use, not months. It would seem that quality, and customer service, may be starting to decline.

I purchased a Delta fauset in 2014 from a plumbing supply store because we were told that they had a better quality product then what is sold at *** Within 5 years it started to leak, customer service sent new parts, put them in and fixed the leak. Just started to leak again, not bothering with customer service, going out to buy a ***.
We are Plumbing contractors serving residential customers. We have be having problems with Delta Diamond Technology kitchen faucets. The cartridges are failing and we have been buying them to take care of our customers. Delta refused to send us cartridges to replace the ones that we purchased. They said we have to go to customers home first, determine the problem and they would send the cartridge to the customer. So in turn they want us to make 2 trips and whos paying for the labor. We purchase hundreds of faucets per year and will not be buying Delta products anymore. *** sends us boxes of cartridges to use on customers warranty faucets. So good bye Delta, with your very poor customer service *** of *** Plumbing of *** County
I bought Delta kitchen faucet that had manufacturing defect. After installation, faucet was making hammering noise whenever I turn on water first time. Delta send me replacement parts three times to repair it. And I replaced part as per company instructions. Finally after almost 80 days of bothering me delta agreed to return for full refund of faucet with return shipping cost to me. I got refund of the item but delta faucet company changed the mind not to reimburse return shipping cost which was $19.32. I will not recommend to deal with this company.
I would give them a zero if I could. After spending over $5000 on Brizo products, I bought a Delta shower and faucet set from Delta, thinking that it's the same company and that the product wouldn't be that inferior. Without going into all of the details, the plumber had to remove the fauly product and broke the bolt. The Delta *** people led me to believe that if I continued to provide information, pictures, receipts (all of which took a lot of my time assembling, emailing and following up with them) they would provide some relief. All I wanted was either a credit to use towards a more expensive Brizo faucet or a replacement part or replacement faucet. The handles were fine, never used. They said they could offer me 25% off of a complete replacement of faucet and handles. Their quote after 25% discount was much more than I originally paid! What a joke. I am now soured on the poor customer response from *** and will never again buy their products.
