Direct Vacuums Disappointing Experience with Direct Vacuums: Received Wrong, Refurbished Product With No Response from Company

On the 13th of November, I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new Vax rapid power revive upright carpet cleaner that I had ordered from Direct Vacuums. However, when I received the package, I was surprised and deeply disappointed to find that I had been sent a Platinum Power max washer that I never even ordered in the first place. To make matters worse, upon further inspection, the product I received was clearly not new, but rather refurbished and full of unsightly scratches.

Ultimately, I paid for a brand new product and received something that was clearly not up to the standard I paid for. Making matters worse, the package did not include any instructions and was also sent in the wrong box. All of these issues have left me feeling extremely disappointed and angry.

I reached out to Direct Vacuums to try and resolve the issue, but I have yet to receive any sort of response from them. I have been left feeling not only let down by the company and their products but ignored as well.

For these reasons, I would advise others to avoid purchasing from Direct Vacuums. I truly hope that others don't have to go through what I have, and urge them to consider alternative options for their vacuum and cleaning product needs.

Direct Vacuums Beware: Direct Vacuums' lack of responsibility and customer service

I recently purchased a Logic microwave from Direct Vacuums back in October of 2019, and initially, I was quite happy with my purchase. However, upon cleaning it, I noticed that multiple parts on the inside of the door had melted - which concerned me greatly. In my haste to resolve the matter, I contacted Direct Vacuums about the issue, but was told to return the microwave, which weighed a staggering 17k. Despite my protests and attempts at reason, I was left with little choice but to foot the bill for returning the item to them myself.

After growing frustrated with the lack of progress, I turned to Trading Standards for assistance. They informed me that under the terms of the Consumer Trading Act 2015, it was Direct Vacuums' responsibility to uplift the item and replace it at no additional cost to me - but this proved to be easier said than done. Ultimately, I was left with no other alternative but to return the item to Direct Vacuums at my own expense.

To make matters worse, when I inquired about the replacement, I was told that my microwave was actually a "refurbished" item and therefore, not covered under the 2015 act. I was shocked and frustrated to say the least. This was a dangerous situation and Direct Vacuums' response to my problems were completely unacceptable. While I am still waiting for the replacement, I have learned a valuable lesson. I will never purchase from Direct Vacuums again -and, I will take every opportunity to warn my friends and family about my experience, in hopes that they avoid the same fate.

Direct Vacuums Disappointing Experience with Direct Vacuums: Frustration with Returns and Customer Service

I recently had an experience with Direct Vacuums (directvacuums.co.uk) that left me feeling quite frustrated. I had ordered a vacuum cleaner from them, but upon its arrival, I quickly realized it was too heavy for me to handle. To make matters worse, the box it came in had a label stating that it was "Faulty, do not sell." Understandably, I immediately contacted Direct Vacuums to request a return and ask for a refund.

Unfortunately, the process of returning the vacuum cleaner was not as straightforward as I had hoped. Direct Vacuums seemed to drag their feet in responding to my requests and kept trying to encourage me to consider other options. After several emails back and forth, I finally had to be very firm with them and insist that they email me the required return label or I would be making a formal complaint. Eventually, they sent me the return label and I was able to ship the vacuum cleaner back to them.

However, the frustration did not end there. Despite receiving confirmation from the courier that the vacuum cleaner had been returned, Direct Vacuums claims they have not received it. This disagreement has led me to open a case with PayPal and issue a complaint through Resolver in hopes of resolving the matter.

I wanted to share my experience with other potential customers so that they may be aware of the difficulties I faced with Direct Vacuums. It is unfortunate that my experience has not been unique and others have faced similar frustrations with this company.

Direct Vacuums Warning: Do Not Purchase From Direct Vacuums - Fraudulent Company with Poor Customer Service and Shipping Issues

I recently made a purchase from Direct Vacuums and unfortunately, the item I received was not up to the standards I expected. I was disappointed to find that the machine was filled with debris from a previous customer. After contacting the company to voice my concerns, they acknowledged their mistake and offered to replace the item.

To make the return process easier, Direct Vacuums provided me with a return label and instructed me to drop off the item at my local DPD courier. I sent the item back two weeks ago, with the expectation that a replacement would be delivered to me within two days. However, it has now been three weeks and I have yet to receive my replacement.

When I reached out to Direct Vacuums, they informed me that Yodal, their shipping provider, was having issues with their system and that my item was still in the post. I called Yodal twice to verify this information, and both times they informed me that they had no issues with their system and they did not have any items to be delivered to my postcode.

As a result, I have decided to make a claim with PayPal to rectify the situation. It is unfortunate to say, but I would advise staying away from Direct Vacuums. I have reason to believe that they are a fraudulent one-man operation, and not the big-name company they pretend to be. It is not worth the risk of losing your hard-earned money and receiving a previously-used and dirty vacuum.

Direct Vacuums Concerning Issues with Direct Vacuums: Dishonesty and Poor Customer Service

Upon researching Direct Vacuums (directvacuums.co.uk), I came across a review that highlighted some concerning issues with the company. The reviewer claimed that the service they received from start to finish was awful, which is never a good sign when dealing with any company.

The most disturbing issue that was brought to light was the fact that Direct Vacuums was selling items that they knowingly did not have in stock. To make matters worse, they were sending alternative models to customers in the hopes that they would keep them anyway. This type of behavior is both dishonest and unacceptable.

An example of this can be found by looking at a product called Vax-S85-SF-R Steam Fresh Reach Multifunction Steam Cleaner, Handheld Mop. This item is still being advertised, even though it is not available. The reviewer went as far as to say that they were going to complain to eBay about this matter.

The reviewer also mentioned that they were sent two incorrect models, and then left with two large packages to take to a DPD point. They went on to describe a 10-minute phone call and seven email exchanges confirming that Direct Vacuums did not have the model in stock. The reviewer was disappointed that the company did not think to ask if they would accept the alternative model first. Instead, Direct Vacuums took the liberty of sending the alternative model in the hopes that the reviewer would not want to go through the refund process.

Sadly, the review also stated that there was no apology or compensation offered for the reviewer's troubles throughout the process, which is unacceptable. The reviewer ended their review by calling Direct Vacuums a "joke of a company."

Direct Vacuums Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Direct Vacuums - My Review

Good morning!

I would like to share my experience with Direct Vacuums (directvacuums.co.uk) and I have to say, it was quite disappointing. My customer service experience was subpar and I feel like I have been cheated. Had I read the google reviews beforehand, I may have reconsidered my purchase.

I made a purchase on November 14th but on November 24th, I expressed my disappointment and requested for a return merchandise authorization (RMA). Unfortunately, I did not receive any reply. I sent a reminder for the RMA on November 28th and finally, on November 29th, the customer service team asked for my vacuum's serial number which I provided on the same day.

I received my RMA on December 4th and immediately sent the vacuum for a refund. However, to my surprise, I received a message saying that the vacuum is being delivered back to me. This is highly unfair and unacceptable, considering that their policies (found on https://www.directvacuums.co.uk/returns) clearly state that a product can be returned without any issues within 14 days. It is unreasonable for them to expect me to return the vacuum without an RMA.

Needless to say, my experience with Direct Vacuums was not a positive one and I will definitely not be making future purchases from them. I had even planned on recommending their services to my colleagues at the hospital, but now, I wouldn't even think of doing so.

Direct Vacuums Unsatisfactory Experience with Direct Vacuums: Failure to Provide Refund and Poor Customer Service

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Direct Vacuums, an online retailer based in the UK. I had placed an order for 2 vacuum cleaners and 2 cleaning solutions, which amounted to a significant cost. However, upon receiving my order, I realized that I had only received one bottle of cleaning solution, which was also leaking!

After some time and effort on my part, contacting the company to find out what had happened to the rest of my order, I was given the runaround and given various excuses for the delay. It wasn't until 10 days later that they finally admitted that they had no stock of the items I had purchased.

Despite their own refund policy being clearly outlined in their terms and conditions, I have been battling to get a refund from this company for over a week. They have ignored my request or tried to offer me substandard or inappropriate products as a supposed solution, even suggesting a carpet cleaner to me when I don't even have carpets!

I find it highly frustrating that Direct Vacuums have failed to provide me with the refund that I am entitled to, and their excuses for this are simply unacceptable. I will not be using this retailer again in the future, and would strongly advise others to avoid them if possible.

I was excited to receive my new purchase, but after a couple of days had passed without receiving any confirmation of my order, I started to get worried. On the eighth day, I finally received a reply from Direct Vacuums, stating that they would look into my order. Two days later, to my relief, the vacuum cleaner finally arrived. However, I was pleased that the main parts of the vacuum appeared to be unused and in good condition.

I then discovered that I had not received the charger for the vacuum either, which was a huge oversight. I immediately messaged Direct Vacuums, and to their credit, they responded promptly, apologizing for the inconvenience and asking for more information about the issue.

After providing the necessary details, I received another message from them, again apologizing for the missing charger and promising to send it out as soon as possible. This time, I felt that their customer service team had been helpful and efficient.

Overall, my experience with Direct Vacuums was mixed. Their prices are reasonable, and they eventually delivered the product well after several days of silence. However, the fact that the floor part had scuffs and hairs, and that there was no charger included, was disappointing. On the other hand, their customer service team responded efficiently and made an effort to resolve the situation promptly. With all that said, I would rate their service as average and give them a rating of 3 out of 5.

Direct Vacuums Impressive Service and Quality: My Review of Direct Vacuums' Vytronix Lion 29 Cordless Vacuum

I recently purchased the Vytronix Lion 29 cordless vacuum from Direct Vacuums and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the entire process. The experience was fantastic, and I would like to share my thoughts on it in detail.

Firstly, I made my purchase on the Direct Vacuums website on 22nd Feb at 12:40. To my surprise, I received an email from the company just half an hour later at 13:11 to let me know that the item had already been dispatched. I was impressed by their speedy response time.

The next day, I decided to inquire about the delivery status, so I emailed their customer service team on 23rd Feb at 10:54 to request for the tracking number. Another fantastic thing that I noticed was their swift response time. At 10:56, I received an email from Direct Vacuums with the tracking number, which was so quick that I initially missed it!

It was such a joy to receive the vacuum on the same day, just around 1pm. The delivery time was punctual, and I could not have asked for a better delivery experience. So it took me just over 24 hours from order to delivery, and I could not fault their service. Notably, I was also impressed by the customer service, especially Mya, who was very helpful and friendly whilst resolving my query.

Regarding the refurbishment status of the vacuum, I was not at all disappointed. The item arrived looking brand new, and it even had a 1-year warranty, which was astounding. I mean, how could I go wrong or pay full price? Direct Vacuums has delivered a high-quality product, and I am pleased with my purchase.

Although the vacuum is not great for full home use, it is perfect for stairs and car cleaning, and the 40 minute runtime is excellent for me. I also liked the simple tracking system provided by Yodel for delivery.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Direct Vacuums to anyone considering their products. It is an excellent online store, with fantastic customer service, speedy delivery, and great quality products. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase, and I look forward to continuing to purchase from Direct Vacuums in the future.

Direct Vacuums Unsatisfactory Service: My Experience with Direct Vacuums

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Direct Vacuums, and I must say that I am incredibly unsatisfied with their service. I was so disappointed with my experience, in fact, that I wish there was an option to give them negative stars instead of just one.

As I later discovered, a great many others have shared similarly poor experiences with this company, so my own disappointing interaction is hardly unique. If only I had done more research and read other reviews before making my purchase, I might have discovered the warning signs (if only the review platform had allowed me to submit no stars at all!).

To be fair, I did eventually receive the item I had ordered, which is more than some others have been able to say. However, my already frustrating experience was made significantly worse when the Direct Vacuums website made an error and charged me and sent me two identical appliances instead of the one I had actually ordered and needed. Despite my alerting them immediately of the error, they did nothing to fix the situation, and both orders were shipped out.

I had planned on refusing delivery of the second appliance, but this was foiled when the packages were accepted by my well-meaning neighbors while I was out. I have been unable to reach the company by phone (their staff is conveniently working from home without access to their telephone system), and they are not replying to my emails either. Technically, I do have the right to return the item for a refund within 14 days, but given what other reviewers have experienced in terms of unresponsive customer service and refund delays, I am hesitant to do so. I fear that returning the item will mean being out the cost of shipping it back to Direct Vacuums, with no guarantee of actually receiving my money back.

All in all, my experience with Direct Vacuums has been incredibly disheartening, and I would strongly caution others looking to make a purchase from this company to seriously consider their other options before proceeding.

Direct Vacuums Unreliable Products & Poor Customer Service - Our Experience with Direct Vacuums

When it comes to purchasing home appliances, it's always good to have the assurance that your investment will not go to waste. This is why we were excited to find Direct Vacuums, a site promising a one-year guarantee on its products. However, our experience with this company was far from satisfactory.

After placing an order for a Goblin stick vacuum, we received it within just one day. Unfortunately, the device was not working as expected, leaving us frustrated and disappointed. We attempted to reach out to customer service multiple times, but all our calls were transferred to remote locations with no response.

As a result of our experience, we can't help but wonder if this is a common occurrence with Direct Vacuums. It seems as though they have a well-oiled scam going on, and unsuspecting customers are getting duped in the process. For anyone still willing to take the risk, we suggest using PayPal as a form of payment to ensure some level of protection.

Ultimately, we ended up returning the faulty vacuum to Direct Vacuums, and we hope that other customers won't have to go through the same ordeal. It's a total shame that a company claiming to offer quality products could fall so short on delivering an acceptable customer experience.

Direct Vacuums Review: Nightmare Experience with Direct Vacuums - Faulty Product & Poor Customer Service

My experience with Direct Vacuums (directvacuums.co.uk) has been nothing short of a nightmare. If I had the option to give them less than one star, I would without hesitation.

Upon receiving the refurbished vacuum cleaner I had purchased, I discovered that it was broken, faulty and completely unusable. When I reached out to the company to return the item, I was met with unnecessary challenges and difficulties.

Despite the clear evidence of the product's defects, Direct Vacuums insisted on offering me an exchange three times before eventually providing a DPD 'pick-up' return label. However, the return process was far from convenient, requiring me to carry the heavy, bulky 3kg+ vacuum cleaner 0.5 miles to the nearest 'pick-up' store.

Furthermore, despite the presence of a local Royal Mail facility, Direct Vacuums refused to meet me halfway and arrange for return postage from RM. The entire experience was an exhausting and frustrating affair, wasting a significant amount of time and energy.

I strongly advise potential customers to purchase from a more trustworthy and customer-focused retailer, with stronger values and a more reliable approach to customer service.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Direct Vacuums, an online retailer specializing in refurbished vacuum cleaners. Despite the appealing price point, my purchase left a lot to be desired. I ordered a refurbished Vax upright cleaner as a gift, but upon arrival, the product looked like it had been subjected to a high-pressure wash and not properly dried before being sent out. The musty scent of damp was overpowering.

Direct Vacuums Direct Vacuums Review: Slow Delivery, Dirty and Damaged Product, and Frustrating Refund Process

Unfortunately, my experience with Direct Vacuums has left much to be desired. Despite the seemingly positive reviews on other sites, I found my dealings with this company to be quite unpleasant.

As many other reviewers have pointed out, the delivery time was very slow, which was frustrating since I had hoped to get my vacuum quickly. When it did finally arrive, I was shocked to find that what I had received was far from the "new" product that I had paid for. Instead, the vacuum was absolutely filthy and badly damaged, appearing to have been heavily used for years.

Naturally, I was very disappointed with the state of the product, particularly as I had purchased it to replace a much older vacuum that was in much better condition. I reached out to Direct Vacuums to request a refund, since I felt that what I had been sent was not at all what I had purchased. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a long and frustrating process, as I had to chase them for weeks and even threaten legal action before they finally agreed to issue a refund.

Despite all the trouble that I had to go through in order to get my money back, I was relieved that at least they did eventually refund me. However, I know that there are many others who were not so fortunate and have been left out of pocket by this company. Direct Vacuums Disappointing Experience with Direct Vacuums: Substandard Product and Poor Customer Service

I recently had the opportunity to order two vacuum cleaners from Direct Vacuums, and it's sad to say that my experience with this company was not very positive. When my vacuum cleaner arrived, I found that it was missing some parts, which was disappointing already, but what was even more concerning was the fact that the hose pipe was covered in hair and the vacuum cleaner itself was broken!

Despite the product description indicating that the item was new and just had a damaged or missing box, the actual product I received was a far cry from what was promised on the website. It was a substandard used product that was not sanitary or acceptable.

After realizing that I needed to send the product back, I felt frustrated by the lack of customer service that Direct Vacuums offered. I found it to be extremely difficult to get a refund, and even harder to communicate with the company to try and sort out the situation. There wasn't even a phone number available for customer service!

At this point, I wouldn't be able to recommend Direct Vacuums to anyone looking to purchase a vacuum cleaner. While I'm sure that their website may have some good deals, the product quality and lack of customer service make it too risky to shop with them. In the end, I ended up going to Hoover to get a new vacuum cleaner, as I couldn't trust Direct Vacuums to provide a quality product or reliable customer service.

Direct Vacuums Wrong Product Received: Disappointing Purchase Experience with Direct Vacuums

I recently purchased a hoover evo pet hoover with pet attachments and extended tubing from Direct Vacuums. Unfortunately, when my order arrived, it wasn't what I had requested. Instead, I received a Vax hoover with no pet attachment. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with this purchase. The fault lies with the product on the order sheet not being the same as what I received. I am left questioning how the warranty will be affected if the wrong product was sent out.

I have to express how angry and frustrated I am with this situation. Not only did the wrong product arrive, but it was a completely different brand, which was not easy for me to use. The Vax brand had previously been unsatisfactory for me due to my mobility issues. On top of everything, the pet attachment that I needed was also missing. This oversight is unacceptable, and I feel that the company should be more diligent in fulfilling their customer's orders.

When I opened the package and saw that I had received the wrong item, I immediately refused to fully take it out and tried to get my son to contact the courier. Unfortunately, the courier had already left when my son got outside. I have posted a photo of the product I received versus the one that I had ordered. It's a shame that I have been left with a hoover that I did not order and am not able to use as I had intended.

Direct Vacuums Unsatisfactory Experience with Direct Vacuums - Disappointing Customer Service and Slow Communication

I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with Direct Vacuums (directvacuums.co.uk). I had ordered a new carpet washer, but instead, I received a used one that still had dirty water in it, all the labels were worn, and it had scratches all over it. Understandably, I was disappointed and rang to complain, and I was promised a new one would be sent out to me. However, six weeks have passed, and I am yet to receive it. The communication from Direct Vacuums is incredibly slow, taking days for them to reply to my emails. They continued to apologize and assure me that my new item was being dispatched. However, just today, I was told that it had yet to be sent out despite being informed otherwise. With their advertised offer of next day delivery, it's disappointing that even after six weeks, they still can't seem to get it right.

This isn't the first issue I've had with Direct Vacuums either. A few years ago, I purchased a vacuum cleaner, which turned out to be faulty. I returned it to the company to be fixed, only to wait for weeks and eventually be informed that they had received the item but had somehow misplaced it.

Overall, I am incredibly dissatisfied with the experience I have had with Direct Vacuums and will not be using their services again.

Direct Vacuums Direct Vacuums Review: Frustrating Experience with Faulty Item and Poor Customer Service

I had a really frustrating experience recently with Direct Vacuums (directvacuums.co.uk) and I wanted to share my story. I had purchased a small electric oven from them, specifically the "De Longhi" model, for £44.99. Unfortunately, when it arrived, the item was faulty and damaged on top. Naturally, I was disappointed with the state of the product and reached out to customer service for a refund.

This is where things started to go wrong. Despite my attempts to calm the situation and make things as easy as possible, the customer service representatives simply made things more complicated than they needed to be. They kept playing "ping pong" with my case, passing me from one person to another without resolving my issue. To make matters worse, they even went so far as to refuse to provide me with an RMA (return material authorization) number for the item.

Determined to get a resolution, I took matters into my own hands and went to the post office to return the oven myself. I paid £16.62 to return the item and made it clear to Direct Vacuums that I was willing to accept this cost just to get my original purchase price back. Unfortunately, even with the item returned and the delivery tracked using Parcels Force, I still didn't receive a single penny back.

It's frustrating when a company acts unscrupulously, and that's how I feel about Direct Vacuums. I truly believe that they're just trying to make money off innocent, trusting customers like me by offering faulty products and then refusing to reimburse them. If you're thinking about shopping with this company, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before doing so. My experience left a sour taste in my mouth, and I don't want anyone else to have to go through the same thing.

Direct Vacuums Disappointing Experience with Direct Vacuums - Terrible Customer Service and Communication

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Direct Vacuums while trying to purchase an air purifier. Initially, I was excited to make my purchase and eagerly paid all the necessary charges on July 2nd. I was then told that my item would be shipped out on July 4th and would arrive by July 6th. However, when the expected arrival date arrived, I spent the entire day working from home, waiting for the delivery. Despite this, no one ever rang my doorbell.

Upon contacting their courier, Yodel, I was informed that my package had been delivered to my neighbor. However, after checking with my neighbor, I discovered that they had not received any package from Direct Vacuums. When I reached out to the company to request a refund, I was met with resistance and refusal on the grounds that the package had already been delivered.

It quickly became clear that Direct Vacuums had no intention of investigating the matter or following up with their courier. I was extremely disappointed with this lack of customer service and after-sales support. In fact, the entire communication process with Direct Vacuums was appalling. I would strongly advise against using them and would rather spend a bit more money buying from a reputable company like Amazon.

Overall, my experience with Direct Vacuums was a total mess. Their lack of helpfulness, slow response, and terrible communication mean that I cannot recommend them to anyone.

Direct Vacuums Terrible experience with Direct Vacuums: damaged, incomplete, and non-working product, poor customer service. Avoid shopping there!

I recently had a disappointing experience when purchasing a vacuum cleaner from Direct Vacuums (directvacuums.co.uk). The website clearly advertised the product as 'brand new,' but when I received my order, it was far from what I expected. To my surprise, the vacuum cleaner was delivered without any packaging or instruction booklets. Additionally, almost all of the tool attachments were missing, and there was physical damage to the cleaner - extensive scrapes and gouges around the brush head housing.

I was even more disappointed to discover that the item didn't work at all. It wouldn't even switch on! I tried calling Direct Vacuums to resolve this issue, but they didn't answer their phone. So, I decided to reach out via email requesting a full refund within seven days.

It took them a frustratingly long time to get back to me - five days, to be exact. And when they did finally respond, they only offered me a partial refund or an exchange. But that wasn't what I wanted; I requested a full refund. A further five days have gone by, and I'm still awaiting their response.

The entire experience has been incredibly disappointing. Their customer service is appalling, and I had to rely on PayPal to attempt to get a resolution. I'm going to contact their local Trading Standards Office to lodge a complaint as well. All in all, it was a frustrating and regretful experience, and I wouldn't recommend this website to anyone.
