Golf ball tray
Placed an order 20 days ago and paid in full. Website says the order is still awaiting fulfillment. I call and nobody ever answers. You just get a recorded message saying they will return your call within 12 business hours. Well I have left at least 6 messages and nobody has ever returned my call. The recorded message also gives you two email addresses you can try. One of them is bogus. The emails just bounce back. I have emailed the other one probably 20 times. I did get one person to respond once but they just said they would look into it but then they disappeared and I haven't heard from them since despite many attempts. Basically this company just took my money and ran. No way to contact them. So I will be filing for a refund through my bank's purchase protection. Avoid this place.
Putting mats
Purchased a 3 x 12 putting may that was nothing more than a hitting mat. It is advertised as a true roll putting green and is awful. It is slow and the turf is rough and grainy. The ball wobbles and doesn't roll true. The owner was combative when I inquired about a refund. He also threatened to put bad reviews about my business which he had to research to find because I bought this mat as an individual, not as a business if I put a negative review about the product that I received.
5x5 residential golf mat
I purchased the golf mat in November 2015, and didn't start using it until about three months ago. I am the only one who uses the mat hitting about 400 balls a week. yesterday I started to practice, and a Divot appeared in the mat. I contacted David Quail, and offered to send it back, pay the shipping and 10% restocking fee, and pay the difference for a commercial grade mat. Considering the mat is less than one year old and I had been using it for about three months for my own personal use, Mr Quail refused to honor my proposal. he started telling me I misused his product. After responding to several emails conducting myself in a polite manner Mr Quail responded with the following email: I have forwarded on to our attorney your email and photos, they insinuate no less that blackmail, do this and preserve the DuraPro name you say. Going to post a bad review are you?
I would think twice. You purchased a mat and used it for practice it was not intended to do. You did not read the listing and you has produced pictures that show that.
In 20 years I have had 2 other people who tried the same thing, Our attorneys have gotten some very large checks from them for posting false and misleading reviews.
You sir are trying to blackmail us, Your threats could cost you. I would think twice, We have the ability to trace you.
Act accordingly. You can be sure we will.

Customer Services
On 2/27/2016 I order product from DWQuailGolf.com. Items where to be shipped within 1 to 2 days of purchases. My credit card was charge on 02/29/2016 so I asked three simple questions. Here are all the responses.

Mr. Quail,
You are a genius, you answer three different questions with one statement, Bravo. You must be the #1 employee, you pointed out that and I quote "your order will ship in 1-2 days you ordered on the 27th". Hummmm let's see today is the 29th and I know I only have a 6th grade education however I ordered on the 27th. Now, give me a minuet to think, the 27th to the 28th would be the 1st day, the 28th to the 29th would be the 2nd day. Seeing that you wrote back at 15:33:02 (3:33pm) you would think you would have an exact answer to one of my 3 questions I asked. However you are the Genius, please advise because I am lost.

Practice net supports
I was very pleased in viewing DW Quails site that there products were American made. In researching I found their products reasonable, and after receiving them the net and mat appear of good quality, but I have only had them approx. two weeks. After receiving the mat I setup it and the net in my backyard. I was surprised and disappointed when I went out the next day and found one of the support poles broken at the coupling point, and another on the other pole slightly bent. I took pictures with my phone and sent them to the company asking them to resend the poles asap, as I do golf instruction at my home. This was on a Friday, and being in the Pacific time zone, Mr. Quail told me new poles would be sent out on Monday, 9-28-15. Everything appeared fine. When I did not receive the new poles by Saturday 10-3-15, I sent an email of my disappointment with their apparent lack of concern for my situation. I am so glad I contacted them, ( I had heard nothing on the status of my support poles), as in return response said he would contact the factory on Monday 10-5-15. He then proceeded to inform me the factory would be mailing them on Tuesday 10-6-15. So it appears they never took the time to reorder my support poles. Mr. Quail does not appear to respect his customers. In my initial email I explained that though disappointed, things happen, but appreciation could be shown by shipping the new poles expediently. Obviously this was not a concern for him. Where has customer service gone in this country? Things happen, but no matter the quality of a product, I refuse to do business with someone unconcerned about the "small guy". In searching other reviews, it appears DW Quail is successful, so my piddly order will not affect them, but unbeknownst to them my business is about to grow dramatically, and they will get none of this. DW Quail got my payment with no issue or problem, I must wait at their convenience to receive my whole order in proper condition. I would suggest you think twice about using them, as customer service on product issue could certainly be an issue.
Poor product, Ridiculous Return Policy
I purchased the item "the key" from all golf training aids .com. aka D.W Quail Golf. The item was advertised improperly thus leading to my need to return it. My issue is with the return policy. 10% restocking fee and original freight charge plus return shipping cost. Due to this ridiculous policy I have decided to keep "the key" as a reminder to stay clear of this internet business. I sent an e-mail to this company registering my complaint & my desire to post a negative review. I received a voice-mail from someone at the company informing me that they do not send items out "just to be looked at" and that my negative review would be considered "blackmail" .
My position is this; paying return shipment is customary. Paying a restocking fee & original shipment cost is over the top.
With regard to the item "the key". My dsappointment is that the item is advertised as it can be worn on the wrist while hitting golf balls. The problem is the brace portion of the device extends well into the palm area of the hand thus interfering too much with the grip. Given the response from this company I would advise caution.
I personally spoke to Ava Quail on the telephone to place my order and she assured me that my purchase would ship within 48 hours, when in actuality it did not ship for over a week, and delivery took another week. I found her to be quite nice prior to charging my credit card, but after I was billed she was very reluctant to speak to me, or answer my emails concerning my order. I purchased a practice net and additional support poles for the sum of $132.00. I never had a chance to hit a single ball into the net because one of the support poles snapped in a matter of minutes; the net was extreme poor quality and the target which is placed inside the net was not the correct target because the number of attachment loops did not match; and the case was torn. Extreme poor quality all around.
I contacted the company via their customer service email portal to voice my desire to return the products and after a few days I had to call because they would not respond. I spoke with Ava via telephone and she explained that they would send me a return authorisation prior to their 7-day return policy. A day later I received an email with a return shipment address only. I am responsible for $42 in return shipment, original shipping costs (unknown), and a 10% restocking fee for an inferior product!
That clear of the company ! Looks like I will only get approximately $20 back from this adventure.
charged but didnt ship
I ordered products on the 1/1, they charged by debit card 1/3 and never shipped product. When I contacted the company they shipped a few hours later. The advertised that the orders would process and ship within 72 hours of order. The fair credit Billing Act says it is illegal not to ship within advertised time period unless stated in terms of sale.
Order an item 2/11, card charged 6/11, 6/11 contacted Dave to ask when it will ship, wrote back saying it "should ship tomorrow", week later now 13/11 no shipment confirmation, wrote another email on 14/11-same day received an email stating it shipped but once again no tracking info. Company advertises "usually ships w/in 72 hrs" well-in this case it has been 12 days-no item-no shipping/tracking information. Customer service number on website-for new orders only-and even that takes you to an answering machine. Save your nerves folks-shop elsewhere.
Customer Service
I purchased almost $500 in golf equipment from this company, online. After a long day out of town (Sea World), we returned home at 2AM and found a Fed Ex delivery sticker on our front door. There was, however, no package found. I called Fed Ex at that late hour to see from whom the delivery came and learned it was one of the items in my order from DW Quail golf, but that had apparently been drop-shipped from their supplier in Los Angeles. It was clear that either Fed Ex didn't actually leave the package, or someone unfortunately got their hands on it before I, and I had been victimized by theft. It happens. I sat down at almost 2:30AM and wrote an almost apologetic email to David Quail, owner of DW Quail.
I explained the situation in my email, even allowing for the possibility of re-purchasing the item that I'd suspected had been swiped, I did not necessarily insist that the item be reshipped at their cost, but did explain that Fed Ex would not be able to confirm with their driver until that Tuesday that in fact, a package had been left.
A couple days later, I did get confirmation from Fed Ex that yes, they had left a package. I let Mr. Quail know last night in an email and a voicemail that yes, a package had been left and I'd asked how we were going to deal with this situation. The email'ed response I'd received from Mr. Quail was: "were not going to ship any thing else and we are refunding you in full". I had to re-read the email...I couldn't believe the arrogance. Ok, fine. This is how he feels...he's entitled. A shame, but he's entitled. When I called to ask for confirmation that the card was, in fact, being refunded in full, I was literally hung up on. I was hung up on a few times untill finally, after my 4th call, the man said "you stole from me, f-cker". He then hung up yet again. I had to call back several times...I was looking for an emailed confirmation that my credit card would be refunded in full, and I was not going to stop calling until I'd received same. The best way I can describe my interaction with this company..which amounts to dealing with Mr. David Quail...is surreal. It's hard to fathom the Jekyll and Hyde personality that is this man. it's almost impossible to expound enough in the post the extent to which this experience was upsetting...and offensive...and just horribly wrong. It took repeated calls to this man, calls that had to deteriorate to street level exchange, to get him to send an email confirming his intent to refund my credit card. And to be indicted as thief, in no uncertain terms, after having been victimized BY a thief, is just plain inappropriate and wrong. This business markets exclusively via the internet and their rating is a "C" on the BBB. This is tantamount to " buyer beware!" My experience with this man is that he is not right...something is not right when person makes business personal. This is a loose cannon, at its truest definition. I encourage anyone who is considering purchasing from this entity to please call me first...I will do a better job of elaborating verbally than I probably am in this post, as I am extremely upset at this moment. My name is Ira and my number is: [protected]
It is incredulous to me that a businessman...allegedly...would deal with anyone the way I've been dealt with. I strongly recommend that anyone considering buying from this company be fully prepared for ANYTHING...be prepared for heartache, grief, aggravation and irrational behavior with respect to any customer service related matter. Do yourself a favor...shop elsewhere...no one needs, or deserves, what I got doing business with David Quail of DW Quail golf. Their website is dwquailgolf.com. Take my adivse...steer clear of this operation!
Three days later, this is how this man chose to deal with the situation, which is fine. Let him think that everyone is a liar and thief. However, it is NOT ok to not take the calls when a customer is trying to confirm that a credit card refund is going to be effected. THen, when the customer doesn't just go pound sand, is threatened with police reports and such. It's ridiculous. Please read this man's emails...see if you want part of this guy...
- "most likely the did not leave it give it until tuesday or wednesday, do you have the tracking # you can go on line and check, I will be out until wed, shooting a Tv ad. I'am sure factory insured it, so talk to you wed. all is ok".
- "were not going to ship any thing else and we are refunding you in full."
- "WE HAVE CONTACTED THE POLICE AND YOU WILL BE SEEING A POLICE CAR SOON".
- "All your email and calls are in the hands of the police dept".
- "WE HAVE FILED THE POLICE REPORT THEY JUST LEFT HERE CASE NUMBER 11-66486
CHEROKEE SHERIFF, they heard your messages and read your email.
HEY 2 CAN BLOG NOW CAN'T THEY ? if I see one thing from you on line
you will see hundreds about yourself that we had to file police reports that will make for nice reading for your customers. your refund will show in 1-2 days now goodbye
(This proves that this man is completely insincere...using law enforcement in an attempt to lash out)
- "welcome to your lawsuit, deep pockets"...
- "THE POLICE ARE ON THE WAY, ANY POSTS ABOUT MY COMPANY WILL RESULT IN A LAW SUIT. I SEEM TO HAVE LOCATED TEST PREP SERVICES ON LINE, 2 CAN PLAY YOUR GAME.
STOP THE HARASSMENT". (this man considers trying to get business settled, and wanting not to be indicted as a thief and liar as harassment, apparently. )
Look, I have many more, and this is boring to any reader. Just please know and believe that my experience with this merchant is enough to prompt a concerted effort to dissuade people from doing business here. If you want to discuss anything related to this merchant, please feel free to call me. [protected]. I am not embellishing to suit my purposes, and I am not vengeful. What I am is incredulous at the way this man has treated my wife and me. This whole interaction is just surreal, it's far past bizarre, approaching the unbelievbale. And it's sad. DON'T BUY HERE! YOU HAVE A VERY GOOD CHANCE OF REGRETTING HAVING DONE SO. Thanks.

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL EMAIL I HAD SENT TO D W QUAIL AFTER RETURNING HOME TO DISCOVER A MISSING PACKAGE...THE FIRST CLAIM OF SAME WITH FED EX IN 7 YEARS OF DOING BUSINESS AT THIS ADDRESS. THIS WAS THE FIRST INCIDENT OF A MISSING ITEM, BY THE WAY. AGAIN, THIS WAS MY EMAIL. I WILL SUBSEQUENTLY POST THE BACK AND FORTH FROM THERE...LET THE WORLD BE THE JUDGE AS TO WHOSE KIDDING WHOM...
David,
I hope I'm mistaken but it doesn't look so. We took our houseguest to Sea World today and returned home an hour or so ago to find a Fed Ex delivery notice on our front door. There was no package. I looked under and around the bistro set that sits outside our front door, and anywhere it could possibly have been placed and there is no package. We run a licensed, home-based business and sometimes the USPS will leave deliveries inside our side gate to the backyard...I even looked there. There was no package...but I wouldn't have expected it to be there...not from UPS or Fed Ex...from whom we regularly get deliveries...almost everyday. We settled in...and I went up to the office and called Fed Ex. My DT# was on the delivery notice...I gave it to the Fed Ex woman...and she did confirm that it indicated that a package had been left at our door today. I asked her if she had any info on the sender and she said it was from a "Margaret" at "Fairway Pro" in Los Angeles. The name obviously told me it was golf-related, and the only golf-related purchase that I've made anytime recently was from you. I went to your site, went to "golf mats", and sure enough, the "Fairway Pro" was from you...apparently drop-shipped from your supplier in LA.
David, please don't shoot the messenger. Either someone other than the person who purchased it is now the proud owner of a Fairway Pro, or, and hopefully this is the case, there is some mix up and no package was actually left. This I will not apparently know until Tuesday. This is what the Fed Ex agent said...someone would get back to me by Tuesday.
The DT # is: DT [protected]
If this was delivered and it grew legs and walked, I'm sorry; I'm in no way at fault, but I feel horrible if this has happened. Either way...whether I'll be asked to re-purchase the item, which frankly wouldn't be fair, or if it will be resent with a signature required, which our suppliers all know to do...either way it's not good...either way I won't and don't feel good. Anything of relative value should be sent signature required. We're in a very open, very visible and accessible corner lot, and, frankly, (and no offense to any ethnicity)...our demographic is 52% Hispanic. We do not live in the slums by any means, but the neighborhood has its fair share of graffiti. I think you understand what I'm saying.
David, please advise, and ASAP. I'm sorry to have to write with this. It's 2:30 in the morning...it's the last thing I want to be doing.
Thanks, and again, please don't shoot the messenger.
More to Follow...
This company markets exclusively via the internet and their BBB rating is a "C". Need I say more?
David Quail is a liar. I never complained that our item never was received and if you'd been on the receiving end of the lunacy that I'd been subjected to, you'd be angrty as well. First, I had to call many times just to get them to respond at all. I was civil...and QUITE sane...in every way.. Mr. Quail uses filoing police reports as some sort of credibility; the fact is, nothing was done to merit police involvment and his implying otherwise is in complete bad faith. This man is wackadoodle in his approach to the public. In 7 years at our business address, we have had hundreds of Fed Ex deliveries and only ONE...ONE claim of an item being left and having been taken. This man went directly to threatening police this and police this as soon as I told him I would be posting on this forum. He is 100% vindictive and abusive, and please call me to discuss my dealings with him before you choose to buy here. I strongly urge you to do so, and my ONLY interest in the matter is an objective one, simply wanting to spare anyone the bizzare angst that this man imposes at the blink of an eye. If your business dealings with him aren't to his liking, apparently his means of attempting to prevent your making the world at large aware is to call the police to invent stories, then to threaten law suites. Someone send this man a copy of the Fifth Amendment. I'm sorry, but this man is scary...stay clear IMHO.
If you'd like to call, please feel free...I assure you, you'll come away with a fair assessment as to who is fair and reasonable-mnded and who is the wackadoodle. [protected]

Before buying from DWQuail, I reed the comments. I saw the ones from this Ira P. and frankly was a little hesitant. After reading it for to long, I realized it was way overboard for someone buying golf stuff. I decided to order anyway as I was looking for a quality golf mat. I never expected such a good service from them. I had to communicate several times and they answered rapidly . Special thanks to Ms. Goswick who was very professional and kind with me all the way.

I ordered a golf mat and a ball liner (Order#449179 made on Mar. 6, 2016) and got the mat, which is excellent, but did not get the Spot-Liner.
Daivid Quail is a liar and should not be in business! I will never shop there again. Save your money and piece of mind, shop somewhere else.
DW Quail is unprofessional and should not be in business. I will never do business with this man again.
Be forewarned... Similar story here... I was called today by a depressed-sounding man and told that my 10th-grade son had filled out interest form at a college fair. After asking some questions about the program and fabulous results that the guy described, I put he guy on hold to question my son. He DID NOT request any info from anybody at anytime. The man accused my son of LYING. Then said perhaps he requested info in lower grades, like 8th grade, two years ago! That would make for a very delayed sales pitch! I said I homeschooled him through 8th grade and he would never be in a place to fill out a request. The man got flustered. I said remove me from the call list and he hung up on me.
