Horrible
HORRIBLE! Horrible ustomer service, horrible wait times. Checking a car out with easirent felt like jail. The people were rude, indifferent and exceedingly unhelpful. They did their very best to squeeze as much money out of me as possible. Today, four weeks after the rental, im charged another $35 for a $3 toll? There were no warnings no options and no other roads to take, or even a way to pay. Easirent would much rather sit in the shadows waiting to pounce on another $30 charge! Easirent is hands down the absolute WORST rental service. Whose main ambition is to line their pockets. DO NOT USE. I REPEAT DO NOT USE! They're thee absolute worst. I look forward to watching their business crumble
Terrible car rental company
DO NOT USE THIS COMANY! If I could give 0 stars I would. I regretfully should have read more reviews in advance of our trip. My family and I were traveling to Houston for a youth softball tournament. We reserved a vehicle on Priceline weeks in advance. When we arrived at Easirent to pick up our vehicle we were told there were no vehicles left at all and that is our problem. We were not notified in advance of this and spent over an hour shuttling to Easirent and back to airport to try to source another vehicle.
As we are unfamiliar with the area we asked if there was anywhere else we could go to obtain a vehicle. We were told that was our problem not theirs. I asked to use their phone to call priceline so i didnt have to pay the cost of the phone call and was told no. When on my phone with priceline, the service rep asked to speak with them and they refused, saying she would have to call them directly. There were 3 men at the desk and no customers there. Two of them were playing on their phones and the other just stood there with his arms crossed staring at us until we left. Just to note we were upset about not having a vehicle and the poor customer service, and I expressed this, however we were not rude or abusive in any way. I have traveled all over the world and I can honestly say this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. In the end it took us 5 hours and 400$ more to get a vehicle elsewhere. Easirent may look like a good price deal, but beware, you get what you pay for.
Recommendation: DO NOT USE!!
Won't return my $500 deposit taken in error
Upon returning my rental. Whomever processeed the car back into the system, entered the return date incorrectly, this charging the 500 deposit to my account. It took a month for them to figure out why I was charged. It was the manager of the rental location whom figured it out and submitted a refund request. 4 months ago!. He found where the car had been rented out to another person 2 days prior to the incorect return date entered. If I still had the car you could have not rented it to some one else... this is not rocket science. For 3 months this refund has been processing yet Never processed. This is no error of mine. This is an employee error. Yet at my expense. The call center people have laughed at me, high up on me, not 1 manager has called me back, in 3 months.
Recommendation: Do not post a deposit on a card that's tied to your normal account.
My rental was on August 29th through September 4th. The employee when processing the car back into they system made a mistake on the return date. He entered the 6th instead of the 4th. Then a charge for $500 was taken out of my account. It took a month of daily phone calls to finally identify what had happened. The $500 was my deposit, charged to my card, returned to my card, then days after the return was charged again to my card. The location manager in Austin TX, was the hero who figured it out. He seen that the car return date was the 6th. I said no sir, I have proof it was returned the 4th. He asked for a moment to look in to the matter. Shortly after he advised, he found the error and proof needed. The car had been rented to some one else on the 5th. How could it be rented to another if I still had the car,? Right. It was an error made by an employee. The manager said he submitted a refund request could take up to 10 business days to be refunded back to my account... 3 months later! Easirental still has my money. Not 1 manager has called me back. The call center has intentionally hung up on me, laughed, left me on hold. They are Rude and think it's funny to mock me. One 4 days ago said. Ma'am you have to wait for.the refund to be processed...? ? When is that, it's been 3 months... well ma'am there are other people ahead of you? What? You unlawfully took $500 from me, and now you won't give it back. No one wants to resolve it. No one can tell me how long this is going to be, why it's been this long nor provide any supporting documents a refund has even been submitted. This is against the law and after 3 months of failed resolutions from this company to do the right thing, return my money you took in error! I guess I am going to have to do this the hard way. Easirent isn't worth enough to compensate me for this..the whole company isn't worth enough. Yet it is now going to cost you more than $500. I'm not making threats, you can interpret that however you want to. I'm just saying this can not go another second unresolved.
Easirent Car Rental Review: Frustrating Wait, Poor Condition, and Insurance Hassles
I rented a car from Easirent a few weeks ago for my upcoming trip. However, when I arrived to pick up my car, I was forced to wait for an hour and a half despite having a reservation. I signed in and patiently waited my turn, but to my surprise, they took several people who arrived after me before they even acknowledged my presence. I was getting frustrated and decided to ask them why they were taking people before me. They tried to tell me that I had not signed in, but I pointed to the sign-in sheet and saw my name crossed out. When I pointed it out, they tried to blame it on a customer trying to cut the line.
Finally, I got my car, but it was not in the best condition. I noticed a crack in the windshield and went inside to inform them. They said they had not noticed it before, but they would make a note of it. Additionally, there was damage to the rear area around the driver's side, but no one wanted to come look at it. They told me that they gave me a 2023 trailblazer because the car I had booked was already gone. This whole experience was a fiasco.
To make matters worse, I had taken out online insurance, but they told me that it was not good enough as it only covered collision. They insisted on my private insurance, which was frustrating. I have a gut feeling that they are going to try to charge me for the damage when I return the car, since no one would come look at it. This whole experience was horrible, and I will not use nor recommend this company to anyone.
Easirent's Bait and Switch Tactics During Natural Disaster - A Disappointing Experience
I recently rented a compact car from Easirent after Hurricane Ian hit Florida. My travel plans were disrupted due to a missed connection in Atlanta, which caused me to be about 2-3 hours late for my scheduled pickup time. I immediately called Easirent to let them know about my delay, but to my relief, the woman on the other end of the line assured me that it wouldn't be a problem.
When I arrived at Easirent, I found myself waiting in line behind a couple who were having a problem with their rental. They had reserved a midsize car, but were told that it was no longer available and that they could upgrade to a full-size car for an additional fee. They were not happy about this and argued with the employee, but were eventually told that this was their only option. Fortunately for them, someone else in line who was returning a midsize car spoke up and they were able to get the car they had originally reserved.
When it was my turn, I was told the same thing - that my reserved compact car was no longer available and that I would have to upgrade to a full-size car for an additional fee. I was not happy about this, as I had called ahead to let them know about my delay and was assured that it wouldn't be a problem. I argued that I shouldn't have to pay any additional fees, but was told that if I didn't like it, I could take the shuttle back to the airport where there were no cars available.
As my house had been damaged by the hurricane, I desperately needed a car to get things done during my week-long stay. Despite my dispute with my credit card company, I was still charged $140 for the upgrade. I feel that Easirent took advantage of people during a natural disaster and should be ashamed of their actions.
Overall, my experience with Easirent was disappointing and frustrating. While the woman on the phone was helpful, the bait and switch tactics used by the employees at the rental location were unacceptable. I would not recommend Easirent to anyone looking for a reliable and honest car rental company.
Easirent Car Rental Review: Hidden Costs, Rotten Smell, and Terrible Service
OMG, where do I even start with Easirent? Let me tell you, it was a total disaster from start to finish. First of all, they have all these hidden costs that they don't tell you about upfront. I mean, come on, just be upfront about it, right?
But that's not even the worst part. When I got into the car, it smelled like rotten eggs. I mean, seriously, did they wash the interior with the same cloth they used on the wheels? And the car was fairly new too, so there's no excuse for that kind of smell.
And if you think that's bad, just wait until you get a fine. They charge you an administration fee that's the same amount as the fine itself! I mean, what kind of nonsense is that?
But it doesn't stop there. You'd think that renting a car would be easy, right? Wrong. Their facilities are like 20 minutes away from the airport, and you have to take a shuttle bus to get there. And let me tell you, it's not a pleasant ride. It's like they purposely chose the most godforsaken place to put their rental center.
And don't even get me started on the cars themselves. I booked one car, and they said they'd give me another one. But in the end, they gave me a third car that couldn't even fit our suitcases! And the worst part is that I prepaid with one card, but when I got there, they said they needed a different card or I had to pay for some rip-off insurance. The car ended up costing twice as much as I thought it would.
And the car they gave me? A Fiat. I didn't even sign up for that car, and it was possibly the worst car I've ever driven in my life. And to top it all off, they gave it to me empty and said it was 1/4 full. Yeah, right. I almost didn't make it to the gas station.
So, my advice to you is to use a well-known car rental company. It may cost a little more upfront, but in the end, it'll save you a lot of hassle and frustration. Trust me, I'm 34 years old, and I've never written a review before. But this experience was so bad that I had to warn others.
Avoid Easirent at all costs! Unprofessional and unreliable car rental company
This place is a disaster! I rented a car from Tampa and it was a complete nightmare. First of all, it's not even at the airport, so we had to wait for over an hour and a half just to get to the rental location. When we got there, there was only one person working and the so-called "manager" was also there. They were both very unprofessional and didn't seem to know what they were doing.
We declined the sun pass, which was $10 a day, but the "manager" told us that we would be fined $25 for each toll we went through if we didn't get it. We ended up getting it, but we went through two tolls and both of them had people working. So we basically gave Easirent $55 for nothing!
To make matters worse, the car we got had a malfunction light come on the first day. We tried calling the location, but nobody ever answered. We had to drive 20 miles back to the location the next day, which was a huge inconvenience. The "manager" didn't seem to care and told us that they don't have people who can drive out to bring us a different car. He also said that if the car breaks down, we should just call them, but nobody ever answers the phone!
We finally got another car, which was fine for the rest of the week, but it was a headache from the moment we arrived. It seemed like there was a problem with every person who was renting a car from them.
I wouldn't give this place even one star! When I called to express my displeasure, the guy on the phone hung up on me! The only positive thing I can say is that the person driving the shuttle was very nice. But that's about it.
Overall, I would definitely recommend staying away from Easirent. They are very unprofessional and don't seem to care about their customers at all. Save yourself the headache and go with a different rental company.
Disappointing Service and Hidden Fees: My Experience with Easirent Car Rental in London
I recently rented a car from Easirent in London, Victoria. I was pleased to see that their opening times were advertised as 7AM, as I needed a car early in the morning. However, when I arrived at the car park after a 20-minute walk from Victoria station, I found it to be dark and dingy, with no one around to assist me. I tried calling them multiple times, but it took until 7:30AM for a gentleman to finally answer the phone. By then, it was too late for my plans.
The car itself was the size I had requested, but it wasn't 100% clean inside. I wondered if this was due to COVID measures, but I had my doubts. Despite this, the rental process went smoothly after I had to give a deposit of GBP1500.00 and upload my return flight ticket (as I'm not a Londoner). I was able to drive off without any further issues.
When I returned the car as planned, I thought everything was fine. However, four weeks later, I received a notice from TFL stating that I had been fined for not paying the congestion charge. As someone who isn't from London, I didn't know which areas were included in the congestion charge. I had assumed that since I rented the car in central London, the charge would be included. However, Easirent didn't inform me that I would need to pay for the congestion charge when I drove out of the garage. Additionally, there was a handling fee for Easirent, which I assume is a regular occurrence for foreign renters. It seems that Easirent chose the garage location wisely, just a few meters outside the congestion charge zone.
In the end, I ended up paying double the rental price and received no service at all. The car was dirty and I got it later than agreed upon. I was extremely disappointed with Easirent's lack of communication and service. I would not recommend them to anyone and hope that they go bankrupt.
Disappointing Experience with Easirent Car Rental: Offsite Location, Long Wait, and Higher Price
I recently booked a car from Easirent through Orbitz for a trip from November 15-18, 2022. However, I was disappointed to find out that the rental location was not actually at DFW airport, but required a 15-minute shuttle ride. When I called for the shuttle, I had trouble getting through and had to wait for a while before one finally arrived.
Upon arrival at the rental location, I was met with chaos. There were only two employees working, one of whom was sick and should have been in bed. There were at least eight people in line in front of me, and one person had been waiting for over two hours. It seemed like there were very few rental vehicles available, and they were being cleaned and turned over as quickly as possible.
When I finally got to the desk, I was able to confirm that I had a car available. However, I was surprised to find out that the price was over $100 more than what was quoted in my booking email. Even though the email stated that the final price included all applicable taxes and fees, I was informed that this was due to the rental location being offsite from the airport and having to pay shuttle fees.
Despite these issues, I was able to finally get the vehicle and it was fine. However, there were some issues with the cleanliness of the car. The rental company had used an excess of Armorall on the floorboards, making them slick. Additionally, they had sprayed some kind of substance on the windows that created a film and decreased visibility.
The return of the vehicle was a much easier process, but overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Easirent. The rental location was not convenient, the wait was too long, and the price was much higher than expected. I would not recommend Easirent to others and will not be using their services again in the future.
Terrible Experience with Easirent Car Rental at JAX Airport - Rude Staff, Dirty Car, Deceitful Upselling Tactics
This was our first time renting a car with Easirent and it will definitely be our last. We rented a car from the JAX airport location and it was the worst experience we've had in over 30 years of travel. The shuttle ride to the office was a bit scary with all the hairpin turns, but we made it there in one piece. However, the tiny office was staffed with two extremely rude employees who seemed to be in a bad mood from the moment we walked in. Their only concern was to try and upsell us on an additional liability insurance plan that was buried in the fine print of the purchase agreement. We were told that we couldn't decline their supplemental liability coverage and use our credit card's insurance coverage unless we provided proof of our current auto policy. Thankfully, I had the proof, but this has never been a requirement with any major car rental company we've used before. It felt like a deceitful way to extort extra fees to purchase unnecessary insurance coverage.
The two staff members were totally rude and their "efficient method" of assigning cars was searching through a ridiculous little basket of keys! It was appalling and ludicrous. The SUV we rented was not cleaned or sanitized as promised on the website. It was filthy inside and stunk horribly of cigarette smoke, which inflamed my husband's asthma. We had to use our own disinfectant wipes to clean the steering wheel, controls, doors, etc. and the wipes were filthy! Additionally, the exterior was full of dents and chips, which we documented with pictures.
This was only a 2.5 day rental, so we stuck it out, but had it been longer, we would've returned the car immediately and rented elsewhere. The entire experience was awful and I will post this review on every site I can to expose what a horrible, money-grubbing company Easirent is. I will tell as many people and websites as possible to never rent from this disgusting, obnoxious company. This is an appalling, low-quality car rental company that no amount of discount is worth.
Horrible Rental Company: Rude Staff, Long Waits, and Demands for Insurance Proof
This rental company is just terrible. I don't even know where to start. I won't repeat what others have said, but I will add my own experience. We waited for the shuttle for a long time, and when we finally arrived at the rental location, we knew we had to hurry to avoid a long wait. We were the first in line, but the woman behind the counter was so rude and snotty. She made us feel like we were bothering her. The other customers had to put their names on a list and wait. There was only one person working, and she was not helpful at all. She demanded proof of insurance, which we had, but it took a while to get it on our phone. We asked for the wifi information, but there was no wifi available. We had never been asked for proof of insurance before, and the woman was so rude about it. She accused us of causing a disturbance and threatened to throw us out. We were shocked and upset. We tried to explain the situation to the other customers, but they were also upset about having to show proof of insurance. It was a terrible experience, and we will never rent from this company again. We plan to contact corporate to complain about the terrible service we received.
Terrible Experience with Easirent Car Rental in Orlando - Do NOT Use Them!
I had a really bad experience with Easirent when I rented a car from them in Orlando. I arrived at the airport at 9pm on a Friday and was told to call them as soon as I landed so someone could come pick me up since they close at 10pm. I called them at 9:05 pm and got a recording telling me to stand outside at a certain location and they would pick me up. My son and I waited and waited, but no one showed up. I tried calling all the numbers I could find for them, but couldn't get a hold of anyone. By 10:30pm, I was really worried because I needed the car for the whole week and I was stranded at the airport with my young son in a state we had never been to before. I asked around to other pick up groups and found out that I wasn't the only one waiting. Another worker for a different car rental place even tried to call them for me, but couldn't get a hold of anyone either. Luckily, I figured out how to use Uber and that saved us.
The next day, I called Easirent and explained the situation. The lady who answered the phone was really mean and just brushed me off rudely. She said they close at 10pm and I told her I was there at 9:05, but she didn't care. Then she told me they don't do pick ups outside of the airport, which was really frustrating because now I had to find a ride to their location to pick up my rental car. Thank goodness for Uber again. When I arrived at their location, the lady was again rude and talked really fast with bad English, so I couldn't understand most of what she said. She didn't care to re-explain anything either. I picked up the car and went on vacation with my son.
I arrived a day early for personal reasons and didn't know where to park the car. I asked someone, but no one could speak English, so I couldn't understand anything they said. A guy did a walk around the car and said it was good, so I signed the paper and left. Later, I checked my credit card statement and saw that they had billed me $28.26 for unknown reasons. I looked at their site and tried to email them, but got an error message saying the mail delivery failed. I tried twice and got the same message. So now their email on their site doesn't work. I know when I call them tomorrow, I'll have to hope I get a hold of someone who speaks English and isn't rude to me. But this company is horrible and this unknown charge is BS. Do NOT use them EVER.
Easirent: Unethical, Unprofessional, and Shady - A Terrible Experience
This company is just terrible, I'm telling you. They're so unethical and unprofessional. They'll try to sell you all sorts of things you don't even need, like liability insurance and toll processing. And don't even get me started on their reviews. They're just awful on every major review site out there, like Google, Yelp, and Trustpilot. I mean, seriously, how can a company be this bad?
So, we booked with them through Economy Booking, which apparently doesn't care about whether the companies they connect you with are ethical or not. We pre-paid for our rental and landed in Orlando, only to find out that the shuttle that was supposed to pick us up every half hour didn't show up. We had to pay for an Uber to get to Easirent's office, and when we got there, we were greeted with rudeness and hostility. They told us we were late, even though we did everything correctly. And get this, even though the staff was still working, they said the office was closed. What kind of nonsense is that?
But wait, it gets worse. While we were completing our booking at their office, they told us we had to add liability insurance, even though we had already paid for insurance through Economy Booking. They said it wasn't sufficient and that we needed to buy liability insurance from them. We didn't know any better, so we went ahead and did it. Little did we know that we could have purchased insurance from a third party or used our own insurance for our own cars. And to top it all off, they also told us we had to pay for toll processing, even though we had other options.
All of this effectively doubled our rental rate, and it was just plain shady. And when we returned the car, it got even worse. Some random guy checked our car and didn't give us any paperwork. When we went into the office, the rep told us we needed paperwork from the guy. We told him the guy didn't give us anything, but he didn't believe us. He went out to check, and they were both confused. The rep was upset with us and said he was too busy to help us properly book out.
The entire experience with this company was just ridiculous and disgusting. They're clearly broken and they're thieves. I would seriously not recommend using them, and I will never use them again. And to make matters worse, we didn't receive any paperwork on check-in or check-out. I mean, seriously, what kind of business practices are these? It's just not right.
Honestly, I think there's a class action lawsuit opportunity here. This company is just that bad.

Easirent's Deceptive Rental Practices: A Warning to Future Customers
I was on the hunt for a small to midsize SUV and decided to book a Jeep Liberty or something similar in the compact SUV category through Expedia. I even prepaid for my reservation (check out the photo). However, when I arrived at Easirent, they informed me that the Jeep Liberty was not in their compact SUV category. They stated that because I booked through a third party (Expedia), they were not responsible for the classification/description. Instead, they offered me a Nissan Kicks for my reservation, which is more like a hatchback similar to a Golf. They claimed that the Nissan Kicks was their compact SUV.
To make matters worse, they then tried to upsell me on insurance. They said that if I purchased insurance from them, they would upgrade me for free. However, when I told them that I already had insurance, they retracted their offer. I was ready to walk away, but unfortunately, I had already prepaid for my reservation. In the end, they didn't seem to care about my dissatisfaction and ended up charging me an upgrade fee (as seen in the photo) just so I could get a Nissan Rogue, which is similar in size to the Jeep Liberty that I had originally reserved.
My first mistake was using Easirent, and my second mistake was prepaying. I will never use them again and will advise anyone who asks to steer clear of them. It's frustrating to have your expectations shattered, especially when you've already paid for something. I hope that Easirent can improve their communication and customer service in the future.
Unprofessional Staff and Frustrating Experience: A Review of [Company Name]
This place is a complete mess. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The staff seemed unorganized and unprofessional. There were a lot of people waiting around while only one guy was doing any work. The others were just standing around eating snacks and talking about their personal lives. It was like something out of a movie.
When we finally got to the rental part, the guy who was helping us was rude and unhelpful. He tried to lie to us about asking us about insurance when he never did. I wasn't going to put up with that kind of attitude, so we left. They didn't even have a paper contract rental agreement. They just had us sign stuff on their end, which seemed sketchy.
When it was time to get the car, we had to wait around again. Nobody seemed to know what was going on. It was frustrating and a waste of time. I would recommend going with a more reputable company if you want to avoid this kind of hassle.
On a side note, I would also advise keeping an eye on your teenage daughters if you bring them here. One of the men working outside kept asking my fourteen-year-old daughter how old she was. She didn't tell me about it until days later, but if she had told me earlier, I would have been furious. It's not a safe environment for young girls.
Overall, I would say that this place is not worth the trouble. The staff is unprofessional, and the whole experience was frustrating. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
Easirent at Miami Airport: Misleading Advertising and Poor Customer Service
I had a reservation with Easirent at Miami Airport and paid for it in advance. However, I was disappointed to find out that their office was not actually located at the airport. To make matters worse, my flight was delayed and I ended up arriving at 7:40 pm instead of the scheduled 5:30 pm pickup time. Unfortunately, the Easirent offices close at 8 pm, so there was no shuttle available to take me there.
I tried calling Easirent over 10 times to let them know that I was on my way, but no one answered the phone. I needed a car to get to my final destination, so I had to rent one from another rental company at the airport. I then tried to cancel my reservation with Easirent and get a refund, but my request was denied. As a result, I ended up paying for two rentals, which was frustrating and disappointing.
I was extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Easirent and I will never rent from them again. It is misleading to advertise as a rental company at the airport when their offices close so early. Additionally, listing a phone number for customer service that is never answered is unacceptable. Even when an Expedia agent tried to contact them to cancel my reservation, it took four days to get a response.
Overall, this was the worst service I have ever encountered from a rental car company. I would not recommend Easirent to anyone and advise others to avoid them at all costs.

Beware of Easirent: Hidden Costs and Unpleasant Experience
So, I recently had an experience with Easirent and I must say, it was quite similar to what other reviewers have mentioned. I rented a car for a week through carrentals.com, which is an Expedia site, and paid $51 in advance. I made sure to read the terms and conditions carefully before making the reservation.
When I arrived at the rental site, I was pleasantly surprised that their shuttle arrived within 30-35 minutes. However, my excitement was short-lived as I overheard a lady exiting the office and loudly exclaiming to the customers waiting in line, "you are all crazy to rent from these people". This immediately set off alarm bells in my head.
At the counter, I was informed that I wouldn't be given the car unless I purchased their insurance for $65. This was a condition that I could see on their own homepage, and they didn't care about the terms and conditions that I had agreed to on Expedia. I decided to take their shuttle back to the airport and rented a car from Alamo instead. The experience with Alamo was smooth and pleasant, with no hidden costs. I ended up paying the same $65 (I never got back the original $51 I prepaid), but at least my additional money didn't go to jerks.
This experience has also made me more cautious about dealing with companies through Expedia in the future. I will certainly not blindly trust any company that they offer me from now on. It's always better to do your research and read the fine print before making any reservations.
Easirent Car Rental: A Nightmare Experience - Buyer Beware!
This car rental company, Easirent, is the absolute worst! I wouldn't even give them one star if I could! I made a reservation through their website and flew all the way from Chicago to North Carolina, arriving on time. However, when I went to pick up the "free" shuttle to get to the rental location, I was told that they were out of cars. Can you believe it? What was I supposed to do? I was stranded! The manager's response was to call an Uber. What kind of service is that? I reserved a car and I needed a car. But apparently, my reservation meant nothing to them.
After waiting for two hours, someone finally returned a car. The manager told me that he was going to clean it up and come get me. However, another half hour went by and when I went to the garage, I found all the employees sitting huddled in a corner, talking, laughing, and ignoring the fact that I was waiting. The manager then proceeded to tell me that he didn't have the key. I was ready to pull my hair out! When were they going to inform me? I know I saw a key when the customer walked in to return the car. I looked on the counter and there it was, just sitting there! They were too busy socializing to worry about anyone of us sitting in the waiting area!
Finally, they gave me the car keys to a filthy, dirty car. This was truly a very, very poorly managed business! Buyers beware!
Easirent Review: Terrible Customer Service and Hidden Fees
I gotta say, I'm with all the other folks who left negative reviews about Easirent. I had a pretty rough time with them when I returned my rental car. The guy at the office did a check and found a little scratch and a bump that I hadn't even noticed. My contract said I had to pay 450? for damages, and he told me I was definitely gonna lose that money. I couldn't believe it - how could such tiny little marks cost so much? But he said I'd also have to pay for the days the car was in the garage (he said it had to be there for at least three days). I asked him to send me the bill so I could check the garage costs myself (and make sure they were actually gonna take the car there), but he said that was confidential.
But wait, there's more! A few days later, they sent me the bill and it was for 600? instead of the 450? we'd agreed on. I tried to get in touch with them a bunch of times (phone, website chat, email) to ask why, but nobody would help me out. Finally, after a whole week, they got back to me and said that the three days the car was in the garage weren't covered by the insurance, so I had to pay 50? per day. What a nightmare! The customer service was terrible and they didn't seem to care about being honest or ethical.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Easirent to anyone. It's just not worth the hassle and the risk of getting ripped off.
Disappointing Rental Experience: Hidden Fees, Unfriendly Staff, and Strong Weed Smell
I was really bummed when I got to the rental spot thinking I only had to pay $160, but then the dude who works there told me that it's the law that we gotta get their insurance, even though I already had insurance through Priceline. Plus, they had a bunch of other fees, like a $250 deposit that might take a whole month to get back, or if we didn't have that, then a $50 deposit that we wouldn't get back at all. So we ended up paying $331, which was way more than I thought. We were so tired from traveling all day that I was worried if I said no to the insurance and deposit, they'd kick us out. (The area around the store wasn't very friendly, and I was there with my three kids.) So we just paid up and went outside to the car. But as soon as we opened the doors, the smell of weed hit us. It was so strong! I felt really scared and uncomfortable after dealing with the salesman, so I just wanted to leave. We left the windows open a bit and put in an air freshener, but the car still smelled bad when we brought it back. And to make things worse, the windshield was super dirty, so we could hardly see where we were going. I was so upset. The whole experience was terrible. I ended up paying twice as much as I thought I would, and I'm really disappointed. Next time, I'll definitely go with a more well-known company.
Easirent: A Nightmare Rental Experience at PIE Airport
I arrived at PIE airport early in the morning, hoping to quickly rent a car from Easirent. However, my experience with this company was far from easy. After waiting for the shuttle to arrive for 25 minutes, I finally spoke to Raquel who assured me that it would be there soon. When it finally arrived, we picked up two other couples before heading to the Sleep Inn where the check-in process was located in a hallway of the hotel.
Upon arrival, we were told to wait in the dining area and fill out our information from a scan code. One couple was called after 12 minutes, but the rest of us had to wait for over an hour and a half. Raquel was the only person working at the rental desk and she seemed overwhelmed with the amount of people waiting. She was also on a personal call for a while, which made the wait even longer.
When Raquel finally came out to help us, she told us that the computer was frozen and she was working with IT to fix it. This caused even more delays and frustration. I couldn't believe that a car rental company would have such poor customer service and no understanding of how to run a business efficiently.
I would not recommend Easirent to anyone. It's a fly-by-night company with only two people working, one of whom drives the shuttle and cleans cars, while the other checks in customers and cleans cars. They clearly don't respect people's time and don't seem to care about providing good customer service. Save yourself the hassle and pay extra to rent from a more reputable company.
Unprofessional and Deceptive: My Experience with Easirent Car Rental
is a small rental car agency that I decided to give a try. I booked my rental car through Priceline, but I won't be using them again. The Easirent website advertised a shuttle to the airport site, but when I arrived, I found out that it wasn't actually at the airport. The clerk was a bit of a slime-bag and insisted on getting my wife's phone number, even though she wasn't going to be driving the car. Then he asked for my insurance card, which I didn't think was necessary since I had a good credit card and driver's license. The itinerary didn't mention anything about needing to provide proof of insurance. The clerk was rude and told me to call my insurance agent and put them on the phone with him, even though it was after 7pm. I didn't think this was necessary since I rent cars often and have never had to do this before. He also told me that I should always have my proof of auto insurance on me, which seemed a bit excessive. I told him no and we exchanged some expletives. His associate was hoping for things to escalate, but I didn't fall for it. I should have known that their shuttle, which smelled like port-o-potty sanitizer, was a sign of an impending scam. They were just trying to make me purchase their insurance, and who knows what else? We decided to take an Uber back to the airport and rented from a reputable agent/agency instead. It was a much better experience without all the unnecessary BS.
Easirent Car Rental Review: Frustrating Experience with Poor Customer Service and Inappropriate Behavior
I recently booked a car rental through Priceline and was given Easirent as my rental company. Let me tell you, it was not an easy experience. First off, I had to wait a whopping 45 minutes for the shuttle to arrive and when it did, there was no name on the van. It was very confusing and I was unsure if it was even the right shuttle. To make matters worse, the step up into the van was very high and I had no idea how I was going to get in. The driver suggested pushing me up and in, which was not a comfortable option for me as a senior disabled woman. He even put his hand on my back, which was completely inappropriate. It's common decency to not touch a stranger, especially a woman's back. Easirent needs to train their employees better before they have a lawsuit for sexual assault.
After finally arriving at the rental location, I waited another 45 minutes with no progress being made. I had already pre-signed in, but they still asked for the same information twice. I even scanned in my license and insurance card, but they still wanted to do it again. It was a frustrating experience to say the least.
To add insult to injury, I was then told that if I didn't pay $50 for a transponder, I would be charged $25 for any tolls I go through, even if I paid cash. On top of that, they said they were holding $250 for three to five business days AFTER I returned the car. This was unacceptable to me. What if the next person who rented the car got into an accident? I've never returned a rental car without it being thoroughly checked for damage, gas level, etc. I can't imagine what would happen if I returned the car and something was wrong with it.
Overall, I would not recommend Easirent. It's not worth the savings. The experience was frustrating and uncomfortable, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I did.
car rental
I had reservations for 2 cars in Orlando (for a total of 16 passengers) that were made thru Expedia/AARP Travel. Our flight was delayed and when I called the number for the shuttle pickup, I received a message they were CLOSED. My confirmed reservations did not indicate their hours of operation and since they accepted a late night reservation, I expected they were open late. Apparently, this is not the case. When I called the next morning to arrange to pick up the cars, I was told that since we were a "no show" the prepaid reservations had been cancelled, with no refunds available. This is not right! AARP is not able to assist with this situation. When I called Easirent they continually transfered me to a voice mail that is too full to accept any more messages. What a SCAM business. I suggest you do not do business with this company. I have reached out to my credit card company since no services were provided.
Desired outcome: Full refund

The agent asked if I wanted to purchase the insurance which I said NO I did not want it.
I provided him my Car Insurance Card and he stated that’s not good enough, I need to see your policy. I stated I have used the card in the past without any problems. He stated that its not good enough I need to confirm how much coverage you have? I asked him to call the 1800 number on the card and he said he would not do that and its $40.00 per day for insurance. I stated I would decline he told me well your not getting the car! So I was charged the additional coverage fees. In addition he asked If I had a Turn Pike pass. I stated I did not and he said that’s $10.00 per day extra. I told him where I was going and asked would I be on any toll roads. He stated I am not from here so I don’t know. He told me if I don’t pay the extra $10.00 per day and went through any tolls it would be a $25.00 per day Administrative fee plus the tolls. Well that was not true I could pay by MAIL. So once again I was charged the additional fees. Also the car was filthy on the outside. I have pictures if necessary. The interior was clean but the windows on the inside were not. I had to stop at a gas station to get paper towels to clean the windows on the interior and exterior. So at the end of the day my fees were over $300.00, I still don’t have a receipt and was charged a $250.00 dollar deposit which I have not received back at this time. After review I surely hope that this is corrected and these additional fees are refunded. Depending upon your reply will depend on my review. Sincerely

I picked up my car in the downtown fort lauderdale location on March 10/23. my easirent confirmation # is APRL01EC62. I have legitimate car insurance from my Canadian insurer which I showed to the man renting me the car. I even have an add on, on my insurance fully covering my rentals anywhere. He told me because it was not a yankee insurance but some foreign insurance that I would have to pay 19.99 liability insurance a day even though my insurance covers north america. This is extortion. I have rented from MANY MANY companies before and this has NEVER happened. I will NEVER rent from this extortion racket again,. I did show him my pink slip which was proof of insurance.
Desired outcome: my money back from insurance i do not need
Scam on Insurance
I rented a car on-line for 5 days at $222.00. When I got to the Ft. Lauderdale office in the midst of and industrial area 3 miles from the airport, the clerk said he couldn't rent me the car without Insurance. Being stuck in some remote area and needing a car to get anywhere, I had no other choice. For 5 day rental is cost me another $77 dollars.
This is a Scam company.
Never again will I rent from this United Kingdom Company.
Rental Reference number- 2865666 Feb 11th . 2023.
Desired outcome: Would like refund of $77 which I turned down when making my reservation.
Charged Twice for the same service
My total charge to rent the car was $295.50. EASIRENT charged my credit card on 09/23/2022 for $295.50. On 09/29/2022, EASIRENT charged my credit card another $295.50. I sent emails no response. I called and was told that they would get back to me on the day of the call. Never received a return call.
I returned the car the way I received it.

Rude customer service and dirty car rental
(Rental Agreement #2601111) This was our first - and LAST - time renting a car with Easirent. We rented a car from the JAX airport location, and experienced the WORST customer service and car rental in 30+ years of travel. The hair-pin ride shuttle from JAX brought us to a tiny office staffed with 2 extremely rude, pissed-off employees whose only concern is to try and upsell EVERY customer an additional liability insurance plan that’s stated in the fine print of the purchase agreement. We were told we could not decline their supplemental liability coverage and use our credit card's insurance coverage UNLESS we provided proof of our current auto policy, which thankfully I had, but this has NEVER been a requirement with ANY major car rental company we've used and is a deceitful way to extort extra fees to purchase unnecessary insurance coverage. The 2 staff members were TOTALLY RUDE and their "efficient method" of assigning cars was searching through a ridiculous little basket of keys! It was appalling and ludicrous. The SUV we rented was NOT cleaned or the “sanitized vehicle” the website promised. It was FILTHY INSIDE and STUNK horribly of CIGARETTE SMOKE which inflamed my husband's asthma. We had to use our OWN disinfectant wipes to clean the steering wheel, controls, doors etc and the wipes were FILTHY! Additionally, the exterior was full of dents & chips (which we documented w/pictures). This was only a 2.5 day rental, so we stuck it out, but had it been longer, we would've returned the car IMMEDIATELY and rented elsewhere. The entire experience was AWFUL and I will post this review on EVERY SITE I can to expose what a HORRIBLE, MONEY-GRUBBING company Easirent is and will tell as many people and websites as possible to NEVER rent from this disgusting, obnoxious company. This is an APPALLING, LOW-QUALITY car rental company that NO amount of discount is worth.
Desired outcome: I want a FULL REFUND due to the obnoxious customer service and the DIRTY stinky, smoke-infused car we received.
We rented a car on June 24 at the Ft lauderdale easirent. Stood in line for over three hours; only six people ahead of me in line. Rude people working in the office. I was told that my car was given away they will give me a smaller car I said no no no! After 30 minutes they told me found one a little bit bigger than what I had reserved which it was not. I had to wait additional 25 minutes. So then I proceeded to get in the car can’t start the car there’s no key, had to hunt someone down again and wait more time. I did inform them that my flight had been changed to return much earlier on July 1 and that I needed to be turning the car in at 2 AM, could I change the time. oh no need to change that but you will have to get an Uber and just drop the car and drop the keys in our box. No shuttle because we’re not open at that time. Well my husband and I are in our 60s and I did not feel comfortable dropping the car with the keys in a bad neighborhood at 2 AM and take an Uber to the airport. Therefore I turned the car in a day early and thank God that I snapped a picture of the paper that the guy taking them through and cleaning allowed me to Because you get no paperwork. not the office by the way checking you out. I took a picture of it only the date, but my camera shows the time at 8:20 am and I rented another car at the airport so that I could drop it off at the airport on July 1. One month later I get a charge to my credit card, I contacted them and they tell me it’s for a toll charge on June 30 at 10:57 am. I informed them I did not have the car in my possession they informed me that I rented the car through July 1. I informed them no I did not. I am disputing this with my credit card company; they are a rip off place, they’re awful, beware, do not rent from them.
Easirent
I rented a car through Expedia they charged my card and Easirent charged my card I told the man I had already paid for it he said my card had not been charged and they would put a security deposit on hold, I was charged twice. This happened February 20-24 confirmation number 2495437. I also extended my rental from the 24th to 26th was told that I would get a receipt via email never received it, which is needed for my company. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
Desired outcome: Reimbursed for the unauthorized charge of $287.61 and a receipt for the car rental extension on Feb 24th to 26th.
Car Rental
They are misleading and unethical and take advantage of foreign travelers. Traveling from the US to the UK in October 2021 I rented a vehicle through them. It was clearly indicated in the quote that the fee included insurance. We paid in full and left for England thinking everything was in order. Upon arrival I went to the location in Manchester. I was told I would have to pay an additional 957 GBP for insurance. I explained that the quote clearly stated that it was included. There was no full explanation but a vague indication that the additional fee would be refunded when I returned the car undamaged - which I did. Well, no more damage that the poor thing already had as it had several dents, scratches and long gouges along the sides. Nevertheless, none of that damage was incurred while I was driving it. When I returned the vehicle in December, I tried to reason with the manager about the addition insurance coverage. He explained to me that this fee was charged only to US and Canadian drivers and that the extra insurance charge would not show up on their site if we had booked in our perspective countries. He did say that if I could prove that the quote stated insurance was covered that he would refund it. I had someone in the US get on-line as though they were making a booking and send me the screenshot. It clearly showed insurance was included. I forwarded this to the manager a few hours later and still have heard nothing. I tried to reason with their customer service and found out that since my booking is complete, they will not refund me the additional cost. This is fraudulent in every possible way. They clearly take advantage for foreign travelers. What are you supposed to do once you get there and realize their unethical additional charge? Shameful. I would never recommend this business - ever. I gave them a chance to make it right, but they have made it clear they do not intend to be decent and courteous and to do the right thing. I will seek further action as no one should ever be deceived in this way.
Desired outcome: Money Refunded
I'm still in the legal process of action against this particular business, I'm currently in the US. How can a business get away with this corruption for so long? I have found that they have been practicing unethical business practices through out the US also and I am sure where ever they are set up around the world. charging customers more money once they had already paid online and a substantial amount money, we aren't talking 10 or 20 pounds, its hundreds, and then they claim that the consumer cancelled the car rental, that confuses the credit card companies with the companies, no refund on cancellations. This is a catch 52, they are stealing money from consumers, it is ridiculous.
We need to start a class action suit. My husband and I travel back and forth to England, we have rented several cars over the years, we have a UK address, bank account and my husband has a UK drivers license, since he is a UK citizen. They tried adding charges to our rental that was paid in full (I have the receipt) I refused to pay the additional charges they refused us the car, and now they are claiming I cancelled the reservation, I didn't cancel, they did because I refused to be taken advantage of or extorted. We have never had a difficult time renting any vehicles in England (UK) until Easirent. NO ONE SHOULD RENT FROM THEM! They should be put out of business!
I thought it was just me
