Auto loan
Worst Bank ever. I hope noone will transact to Eastwest Bank anymore. Why? They are prolonging all your concerns and charged you more and even bring you to legal. all emails but u get to wait so many days and noone will talk straight to ur concern. I have 2 accnts under my name. they issue SOA and edit after u made payment and again another payment. I hope and pray this company will be closed.
Desired outcome: You need to correct your mistakes.you are the one to be charged with how u mishandle my accnt.
Slow in everything
This bank literally tested my patience! I claim mg personal loan jn the head office but everything is slow!
Aside from that, they sent me an email with an incomplete list of requirements! Good thing is I brought all my documents just in case!
Seriously, Eastwest bank Head office (The Beaufort) branch? Are you always this slow inspite of having few clients/customers in the branch on that day? Can you do better?
Personal auto loan
Worst service. I issue pdc for 3 years. And now they call me now for remaining past due? And for many months they never call or mention that when they call me 3 times every month that I have a steal check. Never given any assurance to return the steal checks. This is the worst bank service I encounter. And now they pressure me to pay this remaining balance. They even call me even at night. Wow... So for you to know never get a loan to eastwest. Its a nightmare

Poor product reliability
Customer service is good but the on line electronic banking is very very unreliable .
I have a Debit card and even though its enabled for POS transactions it only seems to work 50% of the time. when i call to find out why im told that i need to enable/authorize that particular business .but when i do it reverts back sometime later to not working. very very embarrassing .
In the last 4 years my Debit card has been hacked 3 times with money stolen from the account on each occasion .no explanation as to how it was hacked has ever been given
2 days before Christmas on a Friday afternoon i received an email saying my account was suspended as i had failed to fill out a form verifying my details - which i had , months previously .so no account access over Christmas grrrrr
went to transfer some money internationally and it took 1 and 1/2 hours in store !
good people , very lousy and unreliable product.

Auto loan - soa pay off computation
Hi, I have been requesting soa pay off since June or July 2022.
Autoloancollection2 has sent 2 versions without breakdown. I have requested for breakdown and they have not replied, they just expect us to pay. Now, they started to auto deduct again which has stopped since I requested SOA, which I have clarified this with them as well. I called the autoloan hotline to ask and informed me that my maturity date has extended to 2023 which I was not informed, which I was not informed.
I am worried that interests will pile up and I cant afford it anymore. Eastwest is robbing us with interests, and holding our requests.
Eastwest autoloan system is the worst.
We need help. I just want my soa with honest and accurate computation
Hi, we have the same situation. We have been requesting for a payment history since 2021 until today but unfortunately to no avail. Have you heard from the bank?
Poor customer service for home loans
I have a home loan with Eastwest bank on its 7th year. Had an issue due to Bayanihan law and suddenly was not being debited for my amortization even if the account was funded adequately. Called customer service hotline 8 times before the problem was identified. Which was on their side. Was always told everything was in order. Now that the issue was identified I have reached the 11th call already and the issue still has not been resolced! I offered to visit the branch or head office to help facilitate but was informed it can only be done via the hotline. Ironically, I am a good payer and want to make sure I am up to date. What kind of customer serice is this?! All they want is to earn from the customers. Even received "updated" amortization computation which appeared not up to date! Only the interest rate was updated! I would not recommend this bank. I will get out of this bank as soon as I can! I think I have been patient enough. 11 calls to the hotline over 8 months. They keep saying resolution in 3 to 5 banking days. Expect a call within 5 days. Weeks pass and nothing happens. We are working people who have other things to worry about not like customer service agents whose job is still stick to the phonelines!
I would not want other people to have a similar experience. Best to try another bank.

Auto loan / credit and collection
We really liked Eastwest Bank previously due to the exemplary performance of their front liner (bank tellers, new accounts and officers).
However, we experienced worst service ever on their loans and credit & collection department.
Firstly, during the Bayanihan One, we didn't receive any email, sms or calls from them regarding our loans standing.
Also, they didn't even inform us about the accrued interest, loan amortization adjustment and other adjustment on our loan payments.
Second, during the expiration of our auto loan last May 2022. Again, we didn't receive any update from the said department and we thought the our auto loan payment was good. Later we know what we have a pending amounting to around 20,000.
Though we already settled the said amount, we are very disappointed with the kind of service we encounter.
Such a pity on the bank front liners who are doing their best to satisfy the client needs.
WORST EXPERIENCE in BANKING INDUSTRY EVER.
Late payment charge for auto-loan
I have been a loyal customer for almost 5 years. I chose EastWest because of quality service before but now I am no longer satisfied due to recurring incidents happening in my Auto-Loan "Auto Debit Payment Arrangement".
To give you a short story about this, my car payment is every 1st of the Month. As a good paying client, I make sure that the P 11,325 is always available 15th days earlier the schedule of deduction. Despite of me having this action, EastWest always charge me P 679.50 for late payment and never get to have it waive for reasons that customer service cannot give clear explanation as to why is these charges happening. Another thing is, I always emailed the following: (1) Autocollections ,
(2) Autocollections2 , and (3) EWB Auto Loan to inform that an enough amount is in my account and car loan payment was not yet deducted.
These recurring incidents causes me inconvenience both time and money.
Desired outcome: Please Waived the P 679.50 which in the first place must not be charged to me who always ensures that enough fund is in my account where CAR LOAN PAYMENT is in an AUTO-DEBIT ARRANGEMENT.
Auto loan accrued interest

Good Day! I am a loan borrower of 2016 model Toyota Commuter. I am sending this to clarify and have a clear understanding on what happened to our loan. We are expecting that we're already done and completed our payment for the said unit last May 2022 as we are about to talk on my OR/CR to be released by your good office.
Pls see and check attached 3yrs. Statement of account(on ascending dates). It was reflected that starting Sep.2020, you havent debited our account regularly and there are also debited amounts after that which I think you charged us with accrued interest on those undebited months.
If this is the issue of bayanihan act, YOU DIDNT RECEIVE ANY CONFIRMATION FROM ME that I will be availing the said program. My account is ALWAYS FUNDED throughout the 5yr.loan program and surprisingly had an accumulation bec.of you not debiting on it regularly. No reason for you not to debit it on a regular basis.
Kindly recalculate and send us the exact computation of our balance (WITH NO INTEREST) that I have to pay to finish this loan.

Poor auto collection service
Despite the fact that the car monthly amortization were paid on time. Still East West bank charges are account with bayanihan act which we did not authorized. We've been communicating to the autocollection department and emailed the deposit slips they needed and said that they have not received our email. And yet they other emails that we have sent. It seems that they want us to pay them more before they will process the closure of the loan. Very poor service as this has been going on "doing the followup" for about a year already. Very disappointing. I hope people will not transact with East West bank in the future. Very poor service.

I am complaining about the issuance of my clearance certificate
Last August 15, 2022, at around 1:11 pm, we paid the total amount of Php. 51, 800.00 to East west bank Sucat branch, just to clear my name in the system, with the agreement that we can have a copy of the clearance certificate within 15 working days... please assist us with this matter, since I have already paid the said amount and to clear my name, At the same time, I'd like to request a copy of the Clearance Certificate as a Proof.
Auto loan
January 2022 we received an email from Convergent Recovery Management Services Inc. saying that our Eastwest Bank auto loan is due & demandable and failure to coordinate is Subject for Legal Action and Unit Pull Out. We immediately talk to this collecting agent explaining that this could not happen because we have 12 PDC's in their possession. So she (representative from Convergent Recovery Management Services Inc) reverted the account to Eastwest Bank. We tried calling the customer service and always been disappointed for the long queues and ended hanging up. At last one of the representative called and ask me for payment for the overdue accounts. I explained that they have our post dated checks how can we have arrears? She explained to me of the automatic enrollment to the Bayanihan Law in which we did not opted because all that checks are funded. As we traced to our bank, there are 9 checks that are not presented and are now stale. EB recognize that indeed there are stale checks in their possession and instructed us to send email requesting to recover that checks for replacement. And that is the start of waiting in vain. Replies are all automatically generated and no signs of good results. Every month a customer service representative would now call me and remind me of the past due account and how much we need to settle in full.
Desired outcome: We want to recover all staled checks so that can replace it. Do not leave accounts with problem to customer service agents, as one of them told me they are being rotated every two days and explaining is exhausting and draining.
Buying Repossessed Car
The seller, Eastwest Bank Loyola branch sold us a repossessed car without allowing us to see the vehicle we were bidding at. And we picked up the car today, we were disgusted that the vehicle has no battery, the inside is full of junk and cannot be ridden as the smell is horrible and yun dust, pwedng taniman ng kamote sa kapal.
Tapos, expired and license. The bank representative never mentioned to us the condition of the vehicle. She did not inform us since "as is where is" daw.
Only to find out that the proper procedure should be, before bidding, she should have allowed us to see the car and decide if we are satisfied and is willing to take the bid. Nothing of such happened. She informed us that we can only see and visit the car after complete payment has been done.
When we talked with the warehouse personnel, they told us to wait for a few days as they will prepare the car, lo and behold, their meaning of preparation differs from ours, how can you say you have prepared it when they never mentioned it to us that there is no battery. So irresponsible!
The bank representative was a scammer! I thought doing transactions with the bank is more professional, ethical, and responsible but none happened! It took us more than a month after payment to see and get the horrible car Eastwest bank was selling!
So disgusting!
Desired outcome: have this selling procedure and manner be investigated as they conduct their business in the most unethical, unprofessional, irresponsible, and very disgusting manner!!!
Applying for checking accounts
I had a bad experience today from your Caruncho Branch in Pasig City. I went there since my application from got approved when I called your branch to open a checking account. I was informed by the banker that I can go to the branch anytime to process it, but when I went today one of the teller assist me without willingness. She also doubted my reasons for applying to your checking account even though I informed them that I am already aware since one of your teller already advised me that last Tuesday, I know that it's part of their job to questioned me since your checking account is a bit strict, but she can do better to assist me with willingness, I worked with a customer service too so I know if the one that I am talking with has interest of helping me or doing her job, She might be in a bad mood but that's not an excuse. One more thing, the slip that they gave me indicate that they need 2 gov ID, proof of billing, 2x2 picture and company ID or 1 month payslip. I gave all this the only thing I forgot is to bring my company ID because I left it on the computer shop. She's asking for a 3 month payslip which I didn't print out since I was given an option to choose either company ID or 1 month payslip, I didn't ask anything from her because I could feel that she's not interested on helping me, that she's doubting me. Ending I wasn't able to open the account because of your staff's lacking communication ability (which is part of her job description). Sobrang sama ng loob ko kasi nasayang yung oras ng punta ko for nothing. Well I'm cancelling my transaction with this brance I'll just go to the other branch to search for someone who can assist me with full willingness.
Desired outcome: It's up to your company policy to decide for the outcome, I just need to express how disappointing I felt during that time.

I sent a request of payment history last 01 June 2022 for comparison to my remaining billing. They acknowledge to wait for 7 to 10 banking days. I made a follow-up and they reply it was updated and transfer to customer service. I made series of another follow-up after few weeks dated June 14 , June 20 , June 22 , June 24 , June 28 , June 29, June 30 , July 02 and today July 12,2022.
Thus messages does not have any progress in regards to my request. The cure for my inquiry become worsen for the solution because they passed me to one another from auto loan to customer service.

Auto loan
I pay my dues ahead of the given statement period / date. Then there will always be a third party number harassing me about an unpaid amount or month. Even though I already sent my proof of payment, they will still continue to send you messages. This has been happening for months and your auto collections hotline always say that they have other person handling my account and never return my calls. Very irresponsible handling of accounts.
Desired outcome: Update your system so that you won't bother a customer even though he / she is already paid with whatever you are asking. Clear my name from whatever third party group you have
Personal loan
First my application was approved.
I went to bank and submit all the requirements needed.
On your branch in Dolores San Fernando, your personnel printed the Cheques
with dates and one of them is unreadable and that is not my fault. I gave her my whole 24 pages of cheque and compromise one of the pages.
The documents were sent to your main branch for review then was declined after waiting for 5 days.
May 20th 2022 you guys sent the email.
Response is so slow, only to let me know that one of the my cheque is unreadable which is not my fault.
You guys asked for another cheque and they didn't give me enough time to submit the requirement. The deadline given is June 5th which is sunday.
2 weeks is the minimum you can order a cheque book then I received it and your office is close on June 5, how can I send the cheque and it will arrive there after 5 business days, do you think that is a fair time you gave?
June 6 that is Monday and the closest day I can send the cheque after weekend. I went to your bank and they said that I should wait for your reply for my petition of extension.
I have requested an extension last May 31st and received an answer June 9th 2022 just to let me know that my application was declined and I need to reapply after six months?
You guys, wasted my time, documents and was handled this case unfairly.
