Our payment was not received, Frost is keeping our hard earned money.
My boyfriend, and I wanted to open a joint account so that we could get his hard earned money cashed. We are unfortunately struggling without a vehicle, and no bus line that runs thru our area here in the city of Dallas, so it's rather difficult to get to, and from anywhere for the both of us. He's had to walk to work, on rare occasion, he's lucked up, and found a ride. But for the most part, he's on foot day, to day. Blood, sweat, and tears are what gets him a paycheck. But because his identification card is from another country, he's not able to cash his checks. So we attempted opening a bank account. Without knowledge of how to add a joint holder online (bc that's our only means of banking being practically homeless, and without transportation) the account was initially just in my name. So his hard earned money is basically being kept by Frost Bank simply bc he signed them over to me, his fiance, and then deposited into my account. He is a hard working man, and regardless of his ethnicity, he's a citizen of this state, as well as this country. He's just awaiting all the required documents to make his citizenship final in order to acquire a state of Texas ID. I honestly feel like we were misjudged, and treated differently due to our relationship status. Basically discriminated on. We've offered a video call conference to do identification verification. Everything you can think to do that's acceptable by every, and anyone else in today's technology, we've offered to do. We can't make it in to a branch quite yet, bc we have no vehicle, or means to travel, not even a bike. So not only are we going thru it day to day, now his money is finally cashed, and cleared, and we still are left hung out in the heat some days. Thankfully his boss understood the situation, and started paying him cash on hand instead. But that still leaves 4 hard earned paychecks amounting up to over 3,500 all together, that he's basically just supposed to say oh well to. His money cleared my account. Of course, his paychecks were good. But bc they felt the need to close my account, bc my fiance signed his checks over to me, whom which we both have all the required verification documents to prove who we are to these people, his money is still being held without reason. Is there anything that can be done about this. Maybe someone higher up in the branch perhaps. I'd like to see a good ending to all these unfortunate incidents I've been reading up on. Otherwise, Frost Bank needs to be shut down for fraudulent money laundering themselves. Keeping peoples hard earned money like this is not the American way, in fact it's wrong. Thank you
Desired outcome: We'd just like Frost Bank to release the money owed, and apologize.
Frost wrongfully ended my relationship with because of fraudulent activities on my social security retirement account
On March 1,2022 I received an email my pin number was changed. I immediately called frost customer service and notified them and put a alert on my social security retirement account. I closed my account on April 11,2022. April 13,2022 my pin number was changed again. 2 fraudulent checks were deposited into my account through an atm. With no circumstances social security administration doesn't allow other funds to be deposited into that account or its a penalty. On April 23 2022 I went to the branch on Richmond and the Sam houston Pkwy south houston tx west chase district they extremely rude. He just closed my account, wouldn't go over the unauthorized charges, wouldn't give me a copy of the fraudulent checks, or give me any information about identity theft.gov. A supervisor named Michael was rude and not helpful I had to wait for the fraudulent checks to be mailed to me and received my information from the loan company I have to pay back. I didn't spend the money and now I'm stuck with the bill of 1800 which was not my fault. I'm 5 days late on rent until I receive my money since my account was closed. I was treated unfairly, frost treated me like I was involved. I filed my police report and I will be getting a lawyer. You can clearly look at those signatures and see they don't match. Why would I jeopardize my only income and something I worked so hard for. I wouldn't recommend anyone to do business with Mike frost bank manager.
Lost cashiers check
I'm a client of Frost Bank. I made a cashiers check in the amount $5000 on the 23rd of September. It was made payable to Discover Card for my charges. Discover has not received the check. The check number is [protected]. I went to the bank two weeks ago and told them the check is presumably lost in the mail. They made me sign an affidavit and told me that they will talk to a manager. I called the the manager after a few days and he said that he will call me the same day but never heard from him. After three or four days someone called me to tell me that there is nothing they could do till the end of 90 days or put a stop payment on it. What was the sense of having me fill up an affidavit? I'm not asking to to refund my money now. I can wait 90 days to get it back. My concern is that someone other than Discover Credit Card gets a hold of it and cash it by fraudulent means. Then i'll be out of a lot of money and God know if i'll ever get it back. All I want is a stop payment on it. If the bank doesn't do that and someone other than the designated entity cashes it, that would amount to the bank enabling someone to commit fraud.

Desired outcome: Stop payment on the cashiers check

Equity loan
I applied for a small equity loan with a house with 100% equity, but got denied, because of my schedule earnings were to low due to deductions. Didn't pay it any mind because this was a no risk loan and there was plenty of banks to approve my loan, but when I found out from a another business owner who had a negative on his schedule c and still got his loan, it makes me wonder why I was denied on a no risk loan? Discrimination? I don't know?
Desired outcome: None, already got approved from a competitor.
Frost bank approved a check from lender before it was submitted! fake us federal check. I have the check front and back to prove it now frost bank has me blacklisted! i never got the money! 71 widow this needs to be taken off- going to federal court i can prove what i am saying! in my opinion frost bank is a horrible bank who steals from seniors! this is my opinion in which i have a right too! bank manager approved the check before it was submitted!
checking account
They will discriminate against anyone that they feel doesnt fit the perfect image of their ideal customer - and will close your account whenever they feel like it - even when you have done absolutely nothing wrong or even remotely questionable.
Oh, but at least they give you a week to "make other arrangements". This must be what they mean when they say "We believe in doing what's right."
You've been warned.
Investment management
I should be earning a MINIMUM of 2500 a month interest from my money, instead Frost Bank has lost over 100, 000 recently according to their statements.49, 000 psssst.Every day my account depletes 1k lately. If they ever do anything positive I will write about it, but in the meantime, consumers should know, they are crooks. They are distributing money, using money, but not making money for me.Investment mismanagement is what I would call it. I will post my next statements on this site and other document proof as soon as I can.My incapacitated brother's money is so depleted, they tacked on the "value" of his mineral rights to fluff it up, and are charging usarious interest for money that is not even there.Last month it was 51K.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I am having the same problem with Frost bank and the Family Trust left to me and my sister by my father.
Poor investing making only enough money to pay themselves and one other obligation a total of less than 1800.00
a month. there is an excess of 800, 000. principle and that's all they can produce in income for 9 yrs straight so
dont tell me economy is the issue.
Frost refuses to give me or my sister information or return our calls and we are the sole benificiaries to this
family estate. They have no answer what happened to safety deposit box or its contents which was housed in their bank
They refuse to follow my Fathers wishes as directed by the will even though they were involved in it's writing with my father
as a customer for more than 40 yrs. And now that he's dead take his money and have no ethics or morals.
They are as crooked as crooked gets and spearheaded by Vice president Ryland Howard Senior Vice President.
Fraudulent banking practice
I am an American living in China offering international exporting services. We shipped three containers of goods worth over $186, 000 to our customer on the terms of DP which means our bank sends the documents that are required by the buyer in order to clear the goods in the United States to the customers bank and they take responsibility of getting payment...
