I have had my Easy Rest Adjustable Bed for over 3 years now
I have had my Easy Rest Adjustable Bed for over 3 years now. I got it because my wife has had 4 spinal surgeries and I have to say the bed has been a wonderful investment in her recovery and getting the sleep she needs. I have never had a problem with it. It works exactly as advertised. And, I would have to say that I have been treated fairly in all my dealings with Easy Rest. They are a good company that does what it promises.

Easy Rest reps call numerous times per day. I have had as many as 11 calls from 11 different numbers from multiple states and all have the caller id of ER systems or easy rest or some derivative. One time I answered and asked to be placed on a no call list. That lasted about 3-4 weeks and then the calls started again. So Easy Rest is not being truthful about keeping numbers on a no call registry. I have started contacting Florida State authorities to pursue whatever legal action is necessary to eliminate this unwanted scam annoyance.
Desired outcome: I want all calls from Easy Rest to stop. I wouldn't buy an Easy Rest even if all I had was a sleeping bag and mattress.

I have blocked every number but that doesn't stop th , neither does telling them not to call. I have several health problems that causes me great pain and so for they to call me nonstop is causing me so much distress. I have trouble getting to sleep and when I do they call me, every time I have a bad day which is daily. They don't care I told them to stop calling that I handicapped and for them to call nonstop is really effecting me health. I never had any business with them and never will! They are rude and disrespectful company I ever seen in my life. I think I need to get a lawyer to help me, cause I can't handle this anymore.

I have asked this company to come and get a bed they sold to my wife. It was misrepresented to her by the company and is not comfortable. My wife, ***, was talked into buying a bed from these people. It was misrepresented to her by the salesman and by the company on their 800 line. It is not as advertised and it is not comfortable. I am receiving several calls a day from this company. Every time, the Caller ID number is different, The Caller ID name is Easy Rest Adj. I have never done business with this company or ever made an inquiry to them or any inquiry to any business about adjustable beds. I have done an internet search on enough of the Caller ID numbers to know they are using spoofing technology to fake the caller ID number. No legitimate would do this or allow anyone in their employ to do this. I am on the National Do Not Call list. I see most of their responses to this type of complaint is to put the complainant's phone number on their DNC list. This is unacceptable. The law says they DO NOT CALL any number on the national list. It is not the responsibility of the person being called to do this with every violator of the National Do Not Call List. It is their responsibility.

My mother did not want to purchase the mattress so the supervisor got on the phone with her and promised my mother he could give her the best price and other perks. My mother was worn down after spending more than 4 hours speaking to these people. My mother signed up for contest to win a free mattress. Instead she was subjected to a nightmare of bad sales tactics. My mother lives alone and is on a fixed income. She can not afford this mattress. Besides that, how can this company justify sending a salesperson to an elderly woman's home during a pandemic! Do these people get tested for the virus? Are they practicing social distancing? The salesperson did not wear a mask and was actually touching my mother while she was in her bed! What kind of person does that?!?!

We paid $60.00 extra for the extra wrapping to protect the mattresses. We were told they would replace the ones we don't like and donate them to a Veteran's group. We found the mattresses were to hard and called. We were told we had to wait for 90 days for the "break in" period to be completed. We waited and contacted them again. I have made 6 calls since April 24th and I always get the same run around. When you call and ask for the service desk it is an infinity loop and sends you back to where you started. I finally reached them by asking for the promotion department who then got me to the service department. The mattress were being made and they will be delivered on Wednesday. It has been 6 weeks and I am still waiting for them to be delivered. I WANT A REFUND OR THE NEW SOFT MATTRESSES DELIVERED.

I signed a transaction for a Easy Rest bed March 9th. I received the bed March 26th! The guys got the base of the bed off the truck and brought it in! It was not in a box! The top mattress was in plastic! I noticed the retainer bar was deteriorating so I called in and they replaced it! The worker kept saying the bed was new so I did a smell test and called Easy Rest April 5, because the bed has a strong odor! They told me to clean it! The same came by today May 29th and said they couldn't smell anything! I paid $150 on the bed, my payments are $126.37. The cost $4,433.88! Getting it financed $6,418.96! The guy told me he did smell anything, I was telling a lie, and I went off on him because I am the one that has to smell that bed whenever I do lay on it! Repeatedly called customer service about the problems, 1) frames won't stay together 2) mattresses won't stay on the frame, move apart, leave a space between 3) no removable pillow top (say now they don't make them anymore, and haven't for a year Pryor to my purchase, I was not informed until the second time I called about it 4) heating pad is made of a slick material causing the sheets to come off ( after putting the sheets back 3 times in one night I took it off . I was getting no help from them so I canceled auto pay and told them why, that got the customer service to call me , I told them again the problems I was having. They said they would send (non-slip mattress pads) I received 2-3x5' non-slip rug pads. I do not like the bed, the service, it is a bad system. And I want them to take it back. The sales person came to my mother in law's house and presented some brochures on an adjustable bed. She turned him down 4 times and asked him to leave. He was there almost 5 hours and would not leave. He wore her down (she is 75 years old and on a limited SS income), she finally agreed to buy the bed so he would leave. He showed her the price of the bed would be $3373.22 and did not explain the interest, which made the bed come to $5241.34. I (daughter in law) called PCI-owner of the financing and asked what the pay off would be. You have to pay the interest back up front then they mail you a check for the interest. I explained to them that they wore down an elderly woman on a fixed income and refused to leave until she purchased a bed. I told them to come and get the bed and they said they do not do that and this will go on her credit. This is unfair practice for the elderly and we want these payments to stop.

Also was promised that any medical issues that I have would be resolved using the adjustable mattress. It was a scam. She lied to me about other beds being made in ***, and how superior their product was with a lifetime warranty. I was pressured by salesperson, and told that the sale was only good for that day. A friend and I researched company and products on Thanksgiving Day, and I was very disappointed since most reviews were bad about poorly made mattress, frame, poor service, and overpriced product. She even set up a finance plan while discussing product details. I was told monthly rate. I asked about interest rate. Very high. I paid $6302.60 via check from credit card company. Signed paper to cancel my order and mailed it on 11/25/22. I was notified by my credit card company that the check had been cashed. I never scheduled delivery, since I sent in cancellation paper. Papers also said that I did not have to give a reason for my cancellation. I only heard from *** asking when I want delivery. I have heard nothing about the cancellation or refund from the company. I recently contacted their customer service via email. No order or reference number on the paperwork. just my name, address, etc. Since I don't have their bed in my possession, it should be easy for them to refund the money that I paid.

I received a defective bed and cant get any cooperation from the compant easy rest adjustable beds. I want to return the bed. I purchased an adjustable bed on 6/27. Within a couple of days I realized that this bed was not for me. Everytime I sat on the side of the bed I would start slipping. I even had some friends try the bed out and the same thing happened to them. I called and finally they sent someone out and all they did was lower the bed. I have since slipped off the bed twice and called the company again. I was informed that the only thing they would do is put railings on the bed which would cost $250 for the rail and $250 labor. I financed $4,961 of whic I put $500 down. They since have sold my contract to another company. I think it is very unfair that at 76 years old I should have to deal with this. I also have talked to the finance company about this and they think this is terrible. I feel bad about the finance company because the bed co. has already been paid but now this company has the brunt of it. I would not ask for help if I didn't think I deserve it. To try to get comfortable in this bed is a major job. I want them to pick up this bed and give me my down payment of $500 back. I have never in my life dealt with a company that is so misunderstanding and rude.This bed definitely is either defective or they simply did a sloppy job of putting it together. I had a presentation done in my apartment in Maocn i=on May 19 and was told verbally by the salesman that the Classic Bed had a 20 year warratny just like the Premiier Model. I agreed to buy the Classic Bed (Full-size). He wanted a $300 down payment which I could not afford. He asked me what I could afford that day and I replied "Nothing." He said the main office would work with him and I told him I could post date a check for $100 for June 15 and another $100 post dated to July 15. He had me sign one paper that showed the first $100 would be taken out of my account on June 15 and another paper to sign for $100 to be taken out of my account on July 15.The charge slip he completed and left me a copy shows the down payment of $200.00 ***As I was walking out of the door along with the salesman he had me on speaker phone talking with a gentleman who wanted to confirm that I had indeed agreed to purchase a vbed. I was answering yes to his questions, but when he stated that $200.00 wouold be taken out of my account on June 15 I quickly said, "No, $100.00 on June 15 and $100.00 on July 15 for a total of $200.00 as a down payment. The monthly paymenton the charge papaerwork that was given to me shows a monthly payment of $169.52 and I have automatic withdrawals that come out so I want $100.00 to be put back in my account so I do not incur any overdraft fees from my checking account. I started having problems with the bed about 2 months of having the bed. First the bed broke down on 2/5 and I called them and sent them a picture of the leg and bolts.(I still have the pictures on my phone.) They sent someone out to replace the base of the bed with legs that was flat. The repair guys said that it was suppose to have had the flat legs from the begin on a hard wood floor and that is why the legs broke. At that time he pointed out about the on my husband side mattress had split and I also took pictures of it as well and he reported to them as well on the phone. They was to send me another one to replace it. When they returned with the mattress it was for a child bed and that was in the same month of February. When I called back about the mattress he tells me that its not up to them that it would have to be up to the people who they get their mattress from and they had nothing to do with that. Until this day I still have no mattress and they said that the matter was closed to them. I was so up set that I said that you all are not honoring up to your words or warrant and you can come and get this bed and he said, "WE AINT GETTING NOTHING BACK" and I hope they got that recorded. Next one of the remotes to the bed went bad and I had to call them and they did send me a new one through the mail. He said that they do go out from time to time but I just had it only a few months. This bed cost OVER $8,000.00 and I'm still making payment on it. Now both remotes have shortage in them and my side of the bed is not working. I called them to let them know about the remotes and the bed not working and now they are saying that I have to pay $500.00 up front for them to fix the motor in the bed and for the remotes. The salesman told me that we had warranties on the bed and now all I got is problems on this raggedy bed. I HATE I EVER GOT THIS BED.

She tried to tell me not to mess with them but as usually I didn't listen & they scam me. They said it would be made especially for her & would take two week & they delivered in less than 1 weeks. It was TOO SOFT & TOO HIGH & they would do nothing about it. The salesman promised me that it would not be too high, not higher than her bed as she is short & had a very good mattress. The mattress is not right she has fallen out of the bed & hurt herself pretty bad something she has never done & almost done a couple of times again. There is something about the bed that just gives to the edge of the bed. IT IS NOT SAFE! The mattress on upside down! When you lift the bed, you can hear it leaking down when it is raised! They want us to lift mattress & do this & do that. We can not lift that heavy mattress. They said they can't come back out there. For $6,000 I think they could do something. My parents thought they won a gift of a free bed.It was a scam. My mother has Parkinson and early on set dementia. My father has multiple health issues and declining health. My brother and I have POA however our parents did not tell us about the Easy Rest Representative coming to there home or that they were convinced to to sign a contract for this bed. They charged it on a charge card. I spoke with Easy Rest Bed Representative who stated he needed to talk to my parents before he could talk to me. When he called my mother explained the bed is not what she thought she bought and wanted to return it They thought they were getting a dual control bed, and then he hung up on my mom. I contact manager, John Girty with no resolution. I explained that I was POA and that she can't make decisions like this and he said that the representative did not detect that she was not of sound mind. Are their representative medically trained to diagnose mental health issues? Easy Rest Bed's blamed my mother for signing the paperwork for the $4,000.00+mattress that everything was explained to them via the video and in contract at delivery. He stated that they do not owe her anything and the salesperson did his job. Stating that the video presentation explains that there are no returns. Both of my parents did not understand this. John did state that he contacted one of the owners and that they are in agreement that they did nothing wrong and were not taking the bed back. Bank of Dawson Deduction Account Number Payment Amount: $96.86 Payment Method: Automatic Deduction from The Bank of Dawson started on July 31 Sales Representative: Timothy. The scam occurred in July . My name is Jane and I am the daughter and representative of Mrs. Doe at her residence. My mother has been a victim of fraud from the affiliate, Easy Rest Beds. Mr. Timothy is the salesperson with this company. Last week, my mother informed me about an automatic deduction from her bank account at The Bank of Dawson. She thought it was for her Hoveraround wheelchair, as she is 88 years old and disabled. I contacted Hoveraround, and after research, we found that the deductions were not from this company, which had waived the amount not covered by insurance due to my mother's hardship. We feared she had been scammed. I contacted the Bank of Dawson to investigate the deduction. They identified Preferred Credit and Easy Rest Bed as responsible. The bank opened a fraud case. I contacted your company on June 11th. A representative confirmed the deductions since July 31, for $96.86 monthly. The bank corroborated and began an investigation to recover my mother's funds. In a call with my mother and the Bank of Dawson, we learned Mr. visited her after she received a letter about a free mattress. At 86, she was alone and pressured by the salesman for hours. This indicates she did not fully understand the sale conditions. Mr. claimed she would receive a mattress, base, pillow, massage device, and remote control. An elderly person would be excited for such a gift, but it was a scam. On June 11th, the Bank of Dawson advised me to contact Preferred Credit and Easy Rest Bed to resolve this. I spoke with representatives from both, with no resolution. Easy Rest Bed's Manager was rude and blamed my mother for signing the paperwork for a $5,000 mattress, saying they owe nothing as the salesperson did his job. With the country's state, the Coronavirus, and my mother's declining health, I am contesting this fraud and reporting it to the ComplaintsBoard.com and the Georgia Bureau of Investigations. I ask for your help to resolve this issue and stop withdrawing funds from Mrs. Doe's account due to hardship, fraudulent activities, abuse of a disabled senior, and her limited understanding of the mattress conditions.
