Crumbling and cracking soles
Last week I went out wearing a pair of Ecco shoes. I was so embarrassed at the mess I left on the floor - the black mess which came from the soles of the Ecco shoes I was wearing and which were crumbling away.
I have checked my other 2 pairs of Ecco shoes. The soles on these were splitting and crumbling too.
From a search of the 'web' I have found that Ecco shoes' sole failures are quite common. Nevertheless when I take a pair of shoes out of my wardrobe, I expect them to be in a similar condition to when they were put away.
So I have 3 pairs of Ecco shoes which have failed and are unwearable apparantly due to an inherent defect.
Desired outcome: Replace all 3 pairs free of charge or offer full refund.

Women's walking sandals
I bought a pair of supposedly good quality Ecco walking sandals a few years ago (so receipt will no longer be valid for return). I have worn them very little and they have sat in a cupboard until now when I decided to wear them again regularly. The uppers are like new but when the soles simply disintegrated, to say I was angry and disappointed would be putting it mildly. I have always been happy with my Ecco shoes and had years of wear from them. I see there have been many similar complaints and don't understand why Ecco have not yet resolved the problem. I'm not interested in why this has happened. It's enough that it has. I took them to the cobblers for repair but he said there was nothing he could do as a new sole would not bond to the disintegrating material and that Ecco shoes these days were frankly rubbish. He should know. Surely you can't want your good name to be in such tatters! Unless there is an acknowledgment of failure on your part and some goodwill recompense I for one won't be buying Ecco again. Can send photo on request.

Shoe Sole
This is my 2nd pair that has had the sole disintegrate. When I contacted Ecco about the problem with the 1st pair, they were unable to help me. Now in talking with two close friends, I hear that they too had this happen to them. I highly doubt that only 1% of the shoes have this problem. And, the design makes replacing the sole nearly impossible. As with the last pair, the soles disintegrated while I was wearing them, leaving a terrible mess on my host's carpet. I love the fit of Ecco shoes, but I will not buy them again.

Men's dress shoes
Hello,
I would like to file a complaint about a pair of men's dress shoe that my boss bought 3-4 years ago in US. these shoes are hardly worn, as my boss owns 4-5 more pairs of ecco shoes. Few days ago while he was wearing these shoes for first time in months, the heels of these shoes compeletly disintegrated, which is a big surprise as they are hardly used. He is extremely upset with this situation and would like a replacement for this item. your prompt resolution of this problem is greatly appreciated. (he does not have an invoice anymore)

Returns
Purchased sneakers on line and received on 5/7/21. Sent back immediately as they did not fit. Ecco received on 5/14/21 and they say via email refund can take up to 4 weeks. When I email and call they say they have them but have to go thru their "return process". Whaaaat this is ridiculous give me back my money. It will be 2 weeks almost and still you have hijacked my money so now I have to pay my credit card the 145 you owe me to not pay interest on this card. Shame on you for taking advantage of your customers hard earned money. I have worked all thru covid and I need shoes but can't afford to buy sneakers until you return my money.

Sole disintegrating on ecco sandals
I normally am fond of Ecco shoes - having bought many pairs over the years - last year, a pair of sandals had the sole literally "chunk" apart - crack and break apart. I sadly threw the shoes out thinking they had reached the "end" of their life span. Yesterday, the very same thing happened on another pair of Ecco sandals - a chunk of the right heel came out and left a pulverized and chunky mess on the floor - yikes - glad I didn't turn my ankle!

I have owned several pairs of ECCO shoes over the years. On every single pair (different styles bought at different times)the soles have disintegrated within a couple years even though the shoes were only lightly used. These were expensive shoes and to use defective or otherwise substandard materials in the soles is simply unconscionable. If you google the issue you will see this is an extremely common occurrence with ECCO shoes.
I have given up on ECCO which is too bad because I like the styling of the shoes. I am not interested in a coupon for replacement shoes because I don't care to have the soles completely fall apart while in the airport, at work, at a party etc, all of which happened to me.

Hiking shoe
My ecco hiking shoes disintegrated in there first few weeks I wore them. While on a 10 km hike my shoes - both of them disintegrated and lost their soles simultaneously! It was particularily embarrassing since I had been bragging to my friends about the superiority of ecco shoes - I have 7 other pairs. I am extremely disappointed and would like some kind of restitution.

Shoes
I have two pair os Ecco sandals that gave been stored in an air conditioned closet in Florida. The sole came off one pair of shoes and the strap broke on the second. What can be done? I bought them at Dillards. I would like a refund or replacement. I have bought many pairs of Ecco shoes, golf, sandals. I am so disappointed but embarrassed the another sole came apart as I was walking causing a very dangerous situation for me.

Ecco golf shoes. 2 pair
I sent back 2 pair of Ecco Golf Shoes via Priority Mail. Shipped on 2-18, and there is no update since March 3. Actually, had 4 pair all defective. Worst return process of any item in my life. I may wear once a week tops. No clue why this process takes so long. The only thing more defective than my Ecco shoes, is Ecco's return policy. I have probably 10 pair of Ecco shoes, but will never buy again after this experience. The eyelets broke in 2 pair I sent back, definite defect. Other 2 pair the soles came completely off and I threw away. 200 dollars for shoes and the return process is a complete joke.

Quality of the shoes
I bought these shoes last september. Only wear them during autumn and it's already in a bad conditions. I tried to contact the store where I bought these. It's called Rubino. And they told me they cannot do anything. I'm really unsatisfied about the quality of your shoes despite of the price. The leather is starting to peel off as you see. I tried to fix it by myself. Return of money
I bought a pair of boots called byway tred from ecco shoes online. They promised if they did not fit they would refund the money on to my visa card. The date was 20/01/2021. On the 25/01/2021 I returned the shoes as required. That was three weeks ago. There customer support did work.

I purchased a pair of shoes from Gb.Ecco.com for £84.00 on 01 February 2021 but they didn't fit. I returned the shoes 08 February using the labels that came with the shoes, proof of posting PBUK6110485001.
Parcel Force delivered the parcel (PBUK6110485001) to Ecco on Wednesday 10 February @ 12:07 and was signed for by D Cane.
I have sent two emails to Ecco Customer Service 18 and 19 February but there has been no response.

Order lost and ignored emails from customer support
I placed an order on the 26th December 2020 for a pair of Citytray shoes. The order went trough and I was charged for it using the same billing and delivery details.
On the 1st of January 2021 the item was attempted to be delivered by the courier, Parcelforce, but failed due to "Insufficient delivery address" I contacted Ecco on the 1st of January and on the 7th of January received response from the customer service informing me that the item was already on route so they couldn't amend the mistake nor they could communicate with the courier. They provide me with an email for liaise with the courier but as I wasn't the original sender I couldn't amend the address myself. I contacted Ecco and provided with the right details and the additional details of my next door neighbour, I contacted them on three more occasions.
On the 18th January I was notified that the item was being returned to the sender. I contacted Ecco on three occasions but I have been ignored since then.
I want the original item or if lost, a complete refund of the original payment.

I am very unhappy with after sales service. ordered boots 13th jan, received them really quickly, I was delighted. the wrong size was sent so I returned them immediately. I have always bought Ecco shoes and boots. I have a very wide foot and I find them to be soft and comfortable to wear. I tend to buy the same style as I'm happy with them and have them in a number of colours.
The pair I'm complaining about I bought in the Ecco Factory Outlet in Gunwharf Quay in Portsmouth U.K. when I was visiting my partner's aunt. We both tended to buy our shoes there. I cannot remember when I bought them but probably 5/6 years ago. I no longer have the receipt.
I have approx six pairs of these shoes which I alternate. A few weeks ago while wearing the red pair of these, I thought they felt a bit spongey but didn't think any more of it. A few days later I felt I was walking a bit strange and when I took off the shoes I realised that the side of the right hand shoe had collapsed and the rubber on the top of the shoe was worn away. The left hand shoe is beginning to wear as well. This pair doesn't get as much use as the other ones as I don't always have an outfit to match them to! I've just checked the other pairs and the soles are fine.
My partner bought an expensive pair of Ecco walking boots about five years ago and had the exact same problem. The leather uppers were perfect. We were on holiday in Sweden during the winter when she noticed her feet were wet. When she checked the soles they had completely disintegrated and she was leaving a trail of black rubber behind her in the snow! She only had the one pair of boots with her and had to buy a new pair there. Unfortunately she put the boots in the bin and didn't make a complaint.
To have the same thing happen to both of us shows sign of faulty workmanship. These shoes are not cheap (the boots were quite expensive) and have always been of high quality but something has changed in the manufacturing process.
I would be grateful for your advice on the matter.

Hello my name is James and I am very pleased to with Ecco golf shoes bc they are sassy and unimaginably comfortable while I play golf. I have bought 3 pairs (2 in USA and 1 in South Korea) so far within 5 years and it lasted for awhile. But last pair I purchased in Korea it seems like it was a defective and I have contacted Korean Ecco customer service and they have told me that cannot be repair/exchanged. I have our purchased (end of March 2020) on well know online shop (SSG.com). I have honestly wore 3-4 times and the front left was cracking and I feel like this pair was a defective one. I've never had any complaints about Ecco shoes so far but I feel very angry about how the customer service in Korea was unwilling to do anything about it. With this kind of service, I have no option but start to look for another brand shoes.

I have been a Ecco customer for several years and never had a problem until now. While wearing this pair of Eccos, I noticed little black pieces of rubber on the floor. Upon examination of my shoes, I found the soles were disintegrating. Attached are pictures of the shoes.
