I got a call from Edu Doc Support in Feb 2022
I got a call from Edu Doc Support in Feb 2022. They knew all my info, how much I owed and who I owed it to. I thought it was legit, but it turns out they're a third party company. The money I was charged didn't go towards paying off my loans, it was just a service fee. I don't make much and work 7 days a week to try to pay this off, so it sounded like a great deal. But I guess it was too good to be true.
This service is so bad!
This service is so bad! It's super confusing and I can't even talk to anyone. I'm really disappointed and unhappy with my experience! It's like a total scam! They lied to me about what they could do for me! They called me up and said they could forgive my student loans if I paid $249 upfront and then $29 a month for six months. But now they won't stop calling me and trying to change the deal. That's not what we agreed on! I'm so mad because I'm broke now because of this! I want my money back right away! This is just the worst!
I'm a sub teacher and I wanted someone to do my paperwork so I could focus on my CSET's
I'm a sub teacher and I wanted someone to do my paperwork so I could focus on my CSET's. Edu Doc Support started the process but I keep calling them to update. I paid 199.75 for four months starting in June and the last one in Sept. I called today 9/24 to see what's up and the guy put me on hold then a recording came on. I'm worried I got scammed and that money could've gone to my student loan. I don't know what to do now.
This "compny" called me with all my info and convinced me they were a servicer for a financial institution
This "compny" called me with all my info and convinced me they were a servicer for a financial institution. They made me think my payments would be consolidated and I'd pay them directly. What a lie! They took $322 from my account and now I find out they're just a doc prep agency. The payments they took weren't for my loan but their "fee" to prep docs for processing to a financial institution or something. It's all a lie. Don't trust this compny. I emailed and no response! I called and it went to voicemail and I told them to stop and unenroll me right away. Doubt I'll hear back.
They claimed to be the place endorsed by a high-ranking official.
They convinced me they were endorsed by a high-ranking official. They made me believe the repayment agreement was from that department. It seemed consistent with the email I received about my loan repayment plans. I contacted the original servicer to inquire about the nearly $400 payment I made. It turned out they weren't the recipients of the funds. The representative advised me to research the company. I was appalled by the negative reviews questioning its legitimacy. Why is it still operational? How is a fraudulent company allowed to operate? I'm at a loss about who to trust.

This company, EDU Doc support, called me out of the blue and said I was qualified for the president *** loan forgiveness program
This company, EDU Doc support, called me out of the blue and said I was qualified for the president *** loan forgiveness program. They explained how they could help me pay off my student loans. I had to pay a certain amount and then they guaranteed that 75% of my loans would be forgiven and paid for. It was all a lie and a scam. They only prepared paperwork for me and did NOT pay my student loans. They scammed me out of $200, and I'm glad I caught on quickly. Being a broke college kid, this is a lot. What got me was that I missed one payment, and they threatened to cancel the policy instead of settling an agreement or charging fees, like any other legit business would have done. I want a refund and never want to be contacted by the company again.
Edu Doc Support called me up and said they could help me get rid of my student loans if I paid them some money
Edu Doc Support called me up and said they could help me get rid of my student loans if I paid them some money. They said I had to pay $199.88 eight times and $79 every month for three years, and then nothing for ten years. I started paying them in March , but then I talked to my loan company and they said I got scammed. Edu Doc Support is just some other company and they don't have anything to do with my loans. I should have been paying nothing because of my income. The money I gave them didn't even go to my loans. I paid them a lot of money and now I want it all back. They lied to me and said the money was for my loans. I stopped paying them with my credit card and now they're saying they'll take my wages and send my loans to collections if I don't pay them in 72 hours.
I paid these guys $249.75 every month from October to January 2022, but they straight up lied to me about what they were gonna do
I paid these guys $249.75 every month from October to January 2022, but they straight up lied to me about what they were gonna do. They never mentioned anything about helping me with paperwork or any of that "service" stuff. They told me they were my student loan service provider and that they were the *** of *** (I remember this CLEARLY). I've told many student loan scammers to go kick rocks, but these guys were different. They were pretending to be the *** of ***. They also told me not to talk to my actual loan service provider anymore. They even gave me a letter to show the bank so I could start the process of buying a house and see what my payments would be like. But I think that letter is fake as hell. I paid them a grand for NOTHING! And I'm so damn mad about it. They made my situation worse, not better. How do these people sleep at night? We can't afford to be messed with like this. I want my money back, like, yesterday!

Edu Doc Support lied to me about finishing the services I paid them for
Edu Doc Support lied to me about finishing the services I paid them for. I gave them $1,199.95 to make documents and file them with the federal loan servicing company I was with. They said they would make and file documents for my school loan. They were supposed to file the paperwork for a *** Loan Forgivenesses (PSFL) form and apply to the Income Driven Repayment Plan (***) with the department of education for my school loans. They told me they finished the forms and that I now had a monthly payment to my school loans for $29.99. They started taking this amount regularly until the pandemic happened. They stopped and tried to start taking it again in March last year, but stopped after one payment. Recently, I found out that I was not enrolled in the *** program. I called my new loan servicing agent to ask about it, and that's when I found out that Edu Doc Support filed fake paperwork to studentaid.gov about my school loans. They lied on the *** paperwork and never applied for the ***. I contacted Edu Doc Support to ask for all forms and documents about my school loans to be sent to me right away. They said sorry for misunderstanding and said they would give me back all the money. I saw the money was coming back to my account. Once the money was back, they started taking it from my account again without asking me. They made my bank account have a negative balance because of what they did. They are not a real business and are doing fraud on government forms.

I was contacted by Edu Doc Support about assisting me with my student loan debt
I was contacted by Edu Doc Support about assisting me with my student loan debt. I spent over an hour on the phone with them going through my information. I was told I was approved for repayment and that my first 4 payments of $200 would start July 15th and occur the 15th of every month and then lower to $30 a month. Beginning on July 15th of 2020, they have been taking out these payments and I have never seen my student loans decrease. I am requesting to be paid back in full and for all further payments to cease.

Date of the transaction and amount of money paid: recurrent monthly payments beginning July 30th. EDU Doc Support made it hopeful I can receive student loan forgiveness or reduce my student loans within a couple of years. I did not do my research and realized the money was for a service fee. I thought it applied to my loan servicer. I talked with a representative from the program. I did not give personal information first, which made it seem like it was a trustworthy program. As he was filling out information for his end, he read back to me 'this is your birthday, social security, email, loan payment information correct?' I never gave him this information first. He just read back to me he had on file for confirmation. Either way, I said yes and agreed to the program. To be more specific, I did confirm the following sensitive information: SSN, DOB, driver's license number, FSAID.

In April , I was approached, via phone, by an offer for student loan relief, during which I was told I had been pre-qualified for the student loan forgiveness program. This representative from EDU Doc Support had sensitive information of mine, such as my student loan balance, so I assumed they were affiliated with an official student loan servicer. I was then advised to join the forgiveness program by consolidating my loans and switching the provider to FedLoan Servicing. This was falsely advertised as a means of relieving my loans, which could be payed off through eight monthly payments of $212.38. They neglected to tell me that this was actually a service fee for "document preparation and monitoring service." My loan balance remained completely unchanged, so on September 10, I called EDU Doc Support customer service to issue an immediate cancellation, and express that I did not consent to the final three payments of their ostensible student loan forgiveness program.

*** called and left me a voicemail claiming that I qualify for a student loan forgiveness program due to unemployment
called and left me a voicemail claiming that I qualify for a student loan forgiveness program due to unemployment. I called back to inquire more info. They had all of my FASFA information (login, social, student loan status, student loan details, student loan amount owed, emergency contacts, address, date of birth, etc.) so I thought it was a legitimate FASFA loan service provider. I gave them no other personal information for security reasons. It turns out that they falsely advertised a student loan forgiveness plan that tricked me into joining a monthly payment of $239.80 for 5 months, followed by $39.00 monthly for 6 months. I signed a document and gave debit card information. However, I was told this was going towards the forgiveness plan, NOT that it was a service fee for a third party company who has nothing to do with FASFA. The set up took place in the beginning of January, but today I trusted my gut that something just didn't sit right with the whole thing. I have canceled my current debit card and filed a claim through my bank for that first charge from January. I have already spoken to FASFA and filed a report through them, which validated that this was indeed a scam and EduDoc Support is NOT affiliated with FASFA. I'm happy I caught it in time before they charged me thousands of dollars that would not go towards my student loans. Inappropriate advertising and scamming!

In April , I did my exit counseling which led me to fill out an application for the income driven payment plan with Fed Loan Servicing website. In September I was contacted by EDU Doc Support in relation to my application. I was under the impression that I was being contacted by a Fed Loan Servicing Rep to follow up on my application. I was under this impression as they had access to my Fed Loan account with my permission and they changed the password to login. I provided all the necessary documents in order for my application to be processed. I was then pressured to sign the e-forms as I was told "it is everything that we just discussed, pertaining to your personal information, income and household size" and I was redirected to all the different locations requiring a signature. I was also told that I'd need to make 4 initial payments of $200 to process of my PSLF application, which I understood was going towards my student loan. I was advised I would have loan forgiveness after 20 years with a monthly payment of $350 per month until my annual income review was done with Fed Loan. Not once were they clear that they were not affiliated with Fed Loan Servicing. I have started to receive documents from Fed Loan that i need to sign my documents and refile my application since the time of filing was in 04. I contacted my Edu DOC Service representative with these issues with no response from him. I finally sent a email that I wanted to cancel and a refund of the 3 payments made and finally got a response to contact customer service. I spoke to customer service today that advised things were in the process, but after being firm she advised she would cancel my account and issue a full refund. Be aware of this company.
