This company is a joke
This company is a joke. I order a kit despite people telling me not to, because I am SO DESPRATE to find my food sensitivities and end my restrictive diet and elimination process. I've been doing it for a year, and if I add back in a food I am sensitive too I have stomach cramps diarrhea and then bloating & constipation for 36- 48 hours. I was so desperate I took their test. When I got my results back KNOW SENSITIVIES came back as okay foods and I was told to eat them freely. When I reached out to discuss my results they told me 1) I was wrong 2) My symptoms weren't sensitivities they were allergies 3) They couldn't tell me the difference between a sensitivity and an allergy in everyday terms 4) They couldn't offer a rebuttal when I sent them multiple articles starting IgG reactivity tests aren't accurate and shouldn't be used to identify food sensitivities 5) Even though it is listed NOWHERE on the website or in the test kit, they told me it was my fault because I didn't eat any of the test food before submitting the test back to them It's my own fault for using them. I'm back to my elimination diet and reintroduction. Screw this company, DO NOT USE THEM.
I have been battling gastrointestinal and digestion issues for the last 20 years of my life, currently Im 25
I have been battling gastrointestinal and digestion issues for the last 20 years of my life, currently Im 25. I have been in and out of doctors offices, specialists, and emergency rooms since I was 13, and through a process of elimination have been able to identify foods that my stomach is sensitive to. I do not have any allergies, and I know through medical lab testing that I do have a gluten intolerance. I have been avoiding gluten for quite some time, but still have issues here and there with mainly dairy related items, and some vegetables.I decided to get the Everlywell Food Sensitivity test just to see if I could pinpoint the main culprit of my problems. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in the results as I think they are completely inaccurate. Coming from someone who journals all their foods, I am not pleased with the results. I came back with no high sensitivity to foods, and just a few mild ones, and those mild ones are foods that I eat very regularly now because I have found those to be the only ones that do not cause any digestion issues. It almost seems as if the foods the test actually picked up, are the foods I eat a lot of because they have been the ones Ive deemed to be good for my health and stomach. The test told me I have no gluten sensitivity at all, along with every other wheat protein type. Also, told me I am sensitive to egg whites and egg yolks, along with *** peppers. This combination I eat every single day, twice a day, because Its one of the only meals that does not disrupt my stomach. I am immensely apologetic that I spent over $100 on this test. It was completely not worth it in my opinion. Im not sure if the company is intentionally misleading customers by using the immunoglobulin G testing because they think customers wont understand how it works, or if they just believe their testing is actually effective.
This company is a wreck
This company is a wreck. I ordered a full panel STD test and results came back negative. I received a phone call TWO MONTHS LATER telling me that the quality control at their lab reported inconsistencies and that my test results could not be confirmed. They gave me a full refund along with the option of an in person test or another at home test. I told them I wanted to be tested at in person lab. I received the name of a lab close to me and asked if I needed to make the appointment myself and I was told I had to wait 24 HOURS before I could do anything. So you mean to tell me you had me waiting 2 months to hear of your lab issues and now I have to wait LONGER to get retested? I was on the phone with their partner PWN health for 2 HOURS yesterday and was told there was nothing they can do for me and I had to wait 24 hours. So I did. I was told that I would go to the lab and they would have my paperwork ready so I could get my tests done. They refused to give me any of the information and just assured me it would be sent and ready. I come to my appointment, over 24 hours after they said they sent my info, and they dont have it. Ive now been transferred 4-5 times on the phone because the number provided to me is the wrong department and everywhere im transferred to is the wrong department. And then im told oh you need to speak to so-and-so, i will have her give you a call sometime today.? Im at my appointment because you told me it would be ready and now im waiting AGAIN? They refuse to fax my information to the lab because it doesnt work like that, though the lab says this is the fastest way. Well how does it work? It doesnt seem to be working.. AT ALL! Everlywell and their partners at PWN health are clearly incompetent and I will NEVER use their services or tests again because of this CONTINUING horrible experience and customer service. The amount of stress they have put on me in terms of my physical AND mental health because of their incompetence is beyond.

This is regarding order number: #R60BB85EE3
This is regarding order number: #R60BB85EE3. I ordered a Covid 19 test from this company on 12/25 and I paid $28 for express shipping. I got an email on 12/26 which was a Sunday from the company letting me know they had received my order and since I had paid for express shipping, I should get my package in 1 to 3 business. I have waited more than 3 business days for my package since today is 12/30 and I was supposed to receive my package yesterday 12/29 which was the 3 business days. The reason I paid for express shipping is because I urgently needed the Covid 19 test. Today which is 4 business since I placed the order, this company had not even shipped my order. I sent them an email today 12/30 letting them know that I never received my package and that I was supposed to receive my package yesterday 12/29. I told them to issue a refund to me since they did not ship my package when they supposed to and that they did not provide the express shipping that I paid for. I told them them that if they did not issue a refund, I would dispute this $98 charge with my bank. However, I did not even get a response to my email. I just got an email later today letting me know that my Covid tests had been shipped. They shipped the order after I complained to them that I wanted a refund. This is totally unacceptable service. I should had received the package by now and they only shipped the package today because I told them I wanted a refund. Please have this company issue to me a refund. I will also dispute this amount with my bank. I will not accept a package that was not shipped when it was supposed to. This was an urgent order and they simply disregarded my order until I sent them an email to complained that I had not received my package. I have attached 3 documents. One is the order confirmation they sent me on 12/26, 2nd document shows the email that I sent today and the 3rd document is the email I got from Everlywell saying my order was shipped today.

I bought an Everlywell STD Test Kit on 2/17/22 and received my results on 3/4/22
I bought an Everlywell STD Test Kit on 2/17/22 and received my results on 3/4/22. My test results from Everlywell (via "***," ***; CLIA ID stated HSV2 was "detected." However, no data was included with my lab results - specifically, no index value levels were provided under "reference range," and Everlywell refused to provide me that information, falsely claiming "there is no standardization for index values across laboratories, nor is there any consensus within the medical community on the clinical utility of index values." After receiving my Everlywell "results," I learned the *** advises against blood tests for HSV2 in the absence of symptoms or exposure, and false positive results are very common, neither of which are explained anywhere on Everlywell's website. Further, index value levels for HSV2 results are critical in predicting whether the test resulted in a false positive; the test used by Everlywell has a positive predicative value of about 50%. I shared this with Everlywell on March 4 and requested they either refund me or provide me the index values for my "positive" result, but they refused. I had to pay to get another blood test from my doctor via LabCorp and received those results on March 8; those results did include my index values, which were so low that my test result was unequivocally NEGATIVE. Everlywell's inaccurate test claimed I was positive for HSV2; after paying for testing from a reputable lab, I learned that I am actually negative for HSV2 and my index values (which Everlywell repeatedly refused to provide) were so low that it is not possible to read the results as anything but negative for HSV2, had the test been done properly. This test caused me emotional distress and required me to pay for further testing just to discover Everlywell misdiagnosed me and falsely claimed I had an incurable STI. Everlywell claims its STI tests are accurate, but they are not.

I purchased two food sensitivity tests from EverlyWell, which do not claim to test for allergies but for food sensitivities
I purchased two food sensitivity tests from EverlyWell, which do not claim to test for allergies but for food sensitivities. Since purchasing these kits, I have been to the gastroenterologist, checked for allergies, food sensitivities, and tried a full elimination diet to see if there was any truth to Everlywell's claims. I put months into discovering the source of my own discomfort, and let me tell you, Everlywell lead me down the wrong path completely. Not only was the information I received from this company unhelpful, it was inaccurate and harmful. It made it more difficult to figure out which foods I was actually sensitive to. NONE of the foods that the Everlywell test selected as "highly reactive" turned out to be my trigger foods. Not a single one. Everlywell said I was highly reactive to eggs and almonds--foods I ate everyday. I eliminated them from my diet only to discover that they were safe all along. Apparently I reacted highly because I was consuming these foods all the time, not because I was sensitive to them. From my research, I knew there was a possibility that frequently consumed foods would test as highly sensitive. But I thought, at the very least, Everlywell would ALSO flag the foods that I was reactive to, so it would give me a likely place to start. Right? Wrong. It turns out I'm sensitive to onion and garlic, as well as a handful of other foods. Not allergic, but sensitive. The thing they claim their test can detect. Everlywell didn't flag ANY of those foods as highly reactive, not a single one. They missed the boat entirely. I never expected Everlywell to solve my problems for me, but I did think they would give me a useful tool in getting there for myself. This turned out to be a false hope, and when I contacted the company to explain all this and ask if they could send me a refund because my results were totally wrong, they told me that they couldn't refund my test and they were sure my results were accurate. Even in the face of glaring evidence that it wasn't true. I am not sure if my results were switched in the lab with someone elses (a huge procedural error, if it happened) or, even more frightening, if their claim that their test can detect food sensitivities has no basis in reality, in the first place. Either way, this was a big waste of time and money, and I am ashamed that I bought into it. It sounded like a quick fix, but--at least in my experience--it was just a scam to steal $518 from me, along with countless hours researching and eliminating foods from my diet that I didn't need to be experimenting with. it was detrimental to my health, my wallet, and my trust.
