( Ayrlp .Com ) supported in regaining my losses after the mess I faced with these people.
So I setup my account, upload ID & patiently wait for 2 weeks whilst my account remains under review. Account is then eventually made active, I deposit a very large sum of money & purchase a small amount of crypto, immediately my account is placed under review & has remained there ever since (over 5 weeks now). Despite raising numerous tickets with them, my account remains under review with no prospect of buying, selling, trading or taking my money out.
My Review
Waller gets 1 star. Wallet required me to have $60 worth of Ethereum exchange Dai to Elrond. Ridiculous!. Plenty of wallets available where its not needed such as Nexo Wallet, Youhodler, Coinbase just to name a few. I sent $250 (Eth) received $235 because of gas fees. Yet i needed
more Eth for an exchange why? I can’t recommend this wallet as of now.
Again, many wallets don’t require anyone to be locked in when staking or earning interest. Yet, this wallet takes up to 7-10
Days to unstake. Which isnt good in case the individual wants to cash out
List of things Exodus needs in there wallet.
1. No minimum requirement for crypto exchanges
2. Earn interest without being locked in
3. More interest earn for more crypto (there isn’t enough) cant earn any with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Elrond, Hedera, Bitcoin Cash, BNB etc. which are the bigger names in the crypto space
4. Option to switch to cold wallet
Im surprise Exodus doesn't have Hydra, Helium, Kusama, and Monacoin which are popular.
Perhaps once Exodus have made these updates ill reconsider using them again.
Eh.Meets Expectations
So far (started receiving repetitive survey requests about 12 hours after signing up), the App has been meeting expectations (which weren’t high, as I’m still learning).
The App performs as promised and I especially appreciated all of the beginner/fundamental information that was provided for crypto newbies like myself - definitions, presentations, news articles, etc.
However, I didn’t find the App’s layout very user friendly. The tools and views you’d think one would utilize on a daily basis are not easily found or conveniently located to one another. It’d also be nice if all of the icons had meaningful labels to provide a hint as to what their related menu options may be.
I’m sure there’s a financial incentive behind the layout, such as making you look harder for things to eat up your time so your money sits in the accounts longer to earn interest, but If I had a choice, I’d rather pay a higher fee for a service that a provider honestly disclosed if I didn’t have to deal with the added aggravation of ads, marketing and “where’s the view to see how much money I lost/gained [Waldo]” fiasco.
Wish I had never used them
They set a fairly high minimum purchase, which conveniently falls slightly below the required amount to withdraw or send. I had about 1/3 of the minimum purchase requirement left in my wallet, and made a purchase from them so that I could transfer my balance out and be done with them. I was able to move significantly less money than I currently have less than a month ago. As soon as my purchase was confirmed and I attempted to transfer all of my BTC to a more user-friendly, less scam-like program, I was informed that the minimum amount to initiate a transfer has changed. It is now .[protected] more than I have. At current prices, that is less than $3 of btc. But to be able to withdraw it, I have to make a deposit of another (minimum of) $50. At this point, I feel strongly that making another purchase from them will initiate another change in the minimum withdrawal price, and I’ll be just out of reach of being allowed access to my funds. Sadly, it seems as though I have lost these funds. Given how similar what is happening to me mirrors other exchange scams, I’m not willing to give them another dime. PLEASE DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS APP.
Love The App!
I really enjoy using this app. It’s very easy to navigate, especially for a person like myself, who is new in the crypto space. Their fees aren’t horrible, and, if you just plan on using it to just to secure some of your crypto...! It’s great for that.
Also, I had an issue. I had purchased ONT. The transaction went fine, BUT...! I later found out you have to have ONG in order to do anything with your ONT! There’s no exchanging or cashing out, without it.
So, I promptly contacted Exodus support. It took a few days for them to get back to me, but, they issued me the necessary amount of ONG to make transactions. That was fine, but, I still had to go off the Exodus wallet and find a place to get a ONG address, seeing how Exodus doesn’t support ONG (apparently working on a patch)
Long story, longer...I finally got an address so I was able to import ONG into my Exodus wallet, and make the exchange that I was waiting to make. Thankfully! I didn’t lose any money while waiting.
Otherwise, the app has worked pretty well, and, the Exodus team at least responded to, as well as provided me with the necessary crypto to make my transaction.
In all, I think Exodus is only going to get better with time.
Day 2
So just downloaded the app. Seems super easy to use so far. Had a hard time figuring out how to buy a certain coin. Seems like I’m forced to buy BitCoin, then convert it to whatever other coin I actually want, then paying an exchange fee, instead of just allowing me to buy the coin I want. Then I can’t even transfer my money over to the coins I want, until I have enough money in Exodus. I deposited $100 just to try it out, while sitting in BitCoin, is not too terrible, I now have to deposit about $50-100 just to have enough to move my money. And when I figured out how to deposit money through Apple Pay, I can only deposit $500 at a time. So if I’m trying to transfer 15k into this account, I have to do this multiple times? Doesn’t sound right. I’m either doing something wrong, or I’m limited because I’m new or something, but that was annoying from a beginner perspective. I like how there are tons of coins to choose from, and even learned about Staking, which I never even knew of. I wish the app would show current buy/sell orders like on Binance.US does. That feature is handy to see before buying into a crypto. I rated 3 stars, but it’s a 4 star app, but just needs more of a tutorial for new beginners.
Excellent, clean, intuitive, user-friendly crypto wallet
I’m new to the crypto space. I only started trading earlier this year and got in to staking more recently than that. After a little bit of research, I downloaded Exodus on my desktop to dip my toes into staking.
I couldn’t believe how simple Exodus made the whole process. I had my wallet up and running in a few minutes.
I tested it out by transferring Litecoin from my trading platform to the wallet. It worked like a charm and the whole transaction too less than a minute.
The next thing I wanted to do was test out staking. So I transferred some ADA to the wallet and started staking with the click of one button. It was that easy.
Finally, I wanted to test out staking a different kind of altcoin so I transferred some NEO to the wallet. NEO automatically stakes once it’s in a wallet, I think. Or it automatically stakes on non-trading wallets. Either way, it automatically staked on my Exodus as soon as the NEO showed up in the account. Very cool!
I highly recommend Exodus to any crypto user— especially those that want a simple wallet to start staking with.
The UI is beautiful and intuitive.
If a dev happens to see this, I have a question regarding NEO/GAS. I know this is not the place to answer questions, I’m just throwing this out there. I’ve accrued more than the withdrawal fee of GAS from staking my NEO but I can’t withdraw it. I don’t own any GAS in my actual wallet, however. It’s behind my NEO. Do I need to have GAS readily available in my wallet before I can withdraw the GAS my NEO has accrued through staking?
First time user
So far so good. Like the design and simplicity. I wish there was more info floating around to help you understand faster like a little pop up tutorial like in most video games when starting out for the first time.
...Update Mon May17 2021: I’ve been trying to buy more Bitcoin using Applepay like I’ve already done multiple times so far without any issues but now it won’t let me purchase more even though I’ve waited over 24hrs time which according to Exodus is the right amount of time. I figure you guys want me to spend money here but you aren’t letting me. What gives? this seems like a huge issue to me. I’m about to go to Binance or EToro or whomever will allow me to buy Bitcoin. Wow.
...Update Sun May 23rd: I had to delete and download the app again for me to be able to add more Bitcoin using Apple Pay. I still love the interface and layout/look of the app. Even though I had to wait a little bit for support to get back through email they did so in relatively short period of time and were helpful but I already solved my own issue of not being able to use Apple Pay to buy Bitcoin. I hope they add more features to the app going forward and reduce the fees associated with turning BTC into other crypto currencies. It seems like when you trade a little bitcoin for other crypto versus trading a lot of bitcoin for other crypto you see an exponential increase in the $$ you are charged for doing so but it isn’t scaled properly. This is the part I don’t understand: example, when I was going to trade the minimum amount of Bitcoin for another crypto they wanted to charge me $9-$10 but if I traded half my Bitcoin which was about double that amount they wanted to charge me like $30 which is like $10 more then the increase from the minimum which doesn’t make sense to me. Why am I being charged at a higher rate when I want to trade more crypto?
Avoid & report! Pickpockets and con artists. Hidden fees up to 36%. Deceptive design
Heard about this from an older Coin Bureau video, and wish I hadn’t. Being scammed by Exodus really makes me think poorly of Coin Bureau now. Really quite annoyed.
Exodus is a beautiful, but dishonest wallet. Exodus is basically as bad as the very worst money changers, especially gypsies and other thieves and scoundrels you find in tourist spots in Europe.
This is no more than a dressed up, computerized form of pickpocketing. These are the precisely the kinds of people you want jailed.
Exodus claim over & over that they don’t charge fees, except when you read their docs, you see they charge for a modest 1 to 5% when swapping cryptos. OK. That might be alright in some circumstances.
Alas, I got charged up to 36%, over $1200 very important dollars in my case, the first few times I bought ADA (Cardano). I really didn’t notice until I felt that I was being shortchanged somehow, then really dug deeply into the math... Exodus goes out of their way to hide the important numbers that count.
Exodus is actively deceptive. Having more experience with much more honest vendors, I can now say confidently this doesn’t seem to be a mistake on their part.
To think I looked into this to get away from the high fees of Coinbase... well, Coinbase charges nothing compared to Exodus!
Also, Coinbase is extremely transparent. They show their fee in a clear and super obvious way for each transaction. Whereas Exodus goes out of their way all of the important numbers you can use to figure out their actual figures.
Important numbers in Exodus transactions are often in dark grey on their BLACK background (could you choose a more deceptive palette?), and some important information doesn’t display until you’ve already been taken advantage.
Don’t just report. REPORT REPORT REPORT. If they won’t fix their ways, let’s get this taken off the App Store! Scams like this drag down the entire Apple ecosystem. No thanks! File a complaint with Apple to help keep others safe, too — and hopefully others do the same for us.
Mostly fixed: Poor user interface changes
Update: "Thanks for the updated review. We appreciate it. Our team is aware that some users would like the ability to switch off the dashboard feature. While I can't give you a timeframe, we are listening and committed to improving. I'll come back and let you know when we have updates for you. We're grateful to have you with us. -MW"
Update: so they fixed the forced view of their 3rd party advertising add-ons to now ‘remember’ the last panel you viewed when you closed the app. Yay! But the decision to make that a ‘feature’ still underlines the fact that they changed the user interface from WALLET to SALES PLATFORM. And the data feeds to and from the 3rd party sites still polls according to wireshark when the app opens. But at least I can default view my balances instead of seeing a curated news feed and links to buy and sell crypto.
Old: Why do tech companies keep making the user experience worse? Just show me my balance and holdings on the main screen. It’s not hard. Updated. After talking with ‘the developers’ they convinced me that they have no interest in allowing the user to make the ability to view the contents of the wallet the primary view, and are instead pushing HARD 3rd party plugins and services with very high fees and abusive terms and conditions. Their excuse was that ‘you can customize the widgets and remove the ones you don’t want to see’ doesn’t work when they make that view the primary focus, instead of the contents of the wallet. Also the 3rd party applications and data streams are enabled regardless of whether or not you ‘see’ them as there’s no way to turn them off. When you check your balance at your bank or other institution, it shows you what you have in the account (money, stocks, etc) and how much of each you have FIRST and then lets you do trades or other functions like transfers second. Exodus has gone down the Big Tech route of horrible user experience to drive people away from alternative currencies by making their app compromised and unintuitive to use. I shouldn’t need to turn to Page 2 of the view on an unlabeled icon to see what’s in my wallet.
Needs more features, disappointed
Not sure if I will stay, or go...
One of the most basic features, is to see the price you bought/paid for a crypto. The point in this, is so you can plan your exits. Not having this basic but most important information, leaves you wondering how much you’ve gained or lost. Beyond Ridiculous. It should not only show what you paid for each trade/buy, but also show your average trade/buy price. This lack of feature requires the user to use a calculator to figure things out. And as you can imagine, the calculator is in the same phone where the exodus app is, so you have to exit/enter the app dozens of times, just to make heads or tails of what you’ve got.
Want to know another annoying lack of feature?
How about the fact that when you look at 24hrs / 7 days / 1 mo / 3 mo / 6 mo / 1 yr, Exodus doesn’t show you how much the crypto is UP OR DOWN in that time you’ve selected! It persistently shows the 24hr up/down percentage, even though you have selected a different section of time/history.
Lastly, Exodus doesn’t show “All” trading history. The max is 1 year. WTH is this? We all want to see how the crypto currently fare’s to it’s old time highs back at the end of 2017.
So you know what Exodus users have to do? They have to leave Exodus to go to other competitive apps, to find the data we’re looking for! Exodus’ lack of basic features is essentially shooting holes in the hull of their ship. i.e. They’re working against themselves. Why not satisfy the users, instead of forcing them to go elsewhere, where they may leave for good?!
For as much money they’ve put into a BEAUTIFUL display, which makes it feel great, and for a solid & quick trading/exchanging functionality, it is lacking some of the most basic features.
For goodness sakes, if it’s that much trouble to program it (with MILLIONS of dollars to work with, which it shouldn’t be hard at all!), then simply lease someone else’s charts and graphs data, and bring it into Exodus until they program their own! Exodus would still have the own skins/fonts/schemes, it would just be the raw data from another company that is being displayed.
Decent wallet
Well after an issue back in August that was never resolved. After doing a transaction with a coin all of a sudden all my coins disappeared with out a trace. Exodus kept on blaming me for the issue and coins were never recovered after many back and forth emails proving my laptop nor mobile were hacked and did as they said I basically got the “well to bad so sad” end of the stick. From close to $300 was left with $4 in the account which I can’t do anything with. I proved to them that the issue was at their end time and time again by having my computer scanned and checked. They never gave me a response and said there was nothing they could to towards the lost fund. This is one of the many wallets I use and only Exodus lost all my coins stored. My loss I guess as it was never resolved. *It was never resolved and never received an answer to the issueFrom the multiple crypto wallets I use Exodus was the only one with this issue. I tried to explain time and time again that my computer or wallet wasn’t hacked into for the mere fact that I use a private network only person that has access to any of my wallets is only me. I live alone and no one could of preformed such transactions. Exodus was the only wallet that my funds went missing on. Issue was never resolved and every email I felt like support was pointing the finger at me with out verifying things on their end. This is just one wallet I will no longer be dealing with. Glad my funds were not greater as my other wallets. *what is the point on trying to reach customer support if I’m basically getting the same answer over and over again. Since the incident happened. No one has access to my wallets or exchanges. It is being blamed on me, while I’m seeing many reviews mentioning stolen funds, lost funds and so on. I’m not getting my coins back no matter whatI just say to new users or current users BEWARE! It’s all great then something will happen and Exodus customer support with blame you for the issue because, they don’t have an answer. *Typical of the same answer I have received time and time again. There was no way of my fund being swiped from the Exodus exchange unless it was something internal on the Exodus side. My computer was not hacked into and there was no way someone could of just randomly guessed my nemonic phrases. So what really happened I’ll never know lost fund are just that lost with no clear answer from Exodus customer service other than someone logging into my computer and doing the transaction which is not possible because I live alone and my computer was off after I did a swap of coins shut it down when I checked on mobile funds were gone. So no way of ever seeing those funds again. I just say beware of this exchange and all others no matter what it isn’t safe either way
Would not recommend for beginners
First off, I really love this wallet. It’s design is simple. It’s nice to look at. The charts are easy to understand and easy to read. There’s plenty of options to choose from. Coin exchanges, deposits, ability to send and receive. I gotta say, there are a lot of good bones here and I was really looking forward to making this my primary wallet for my most valuable assets. Then I discovered…NOT user friendly. My issue began when I was exploring the option to exchange one crypto for another. I was noticing that no matter the trade/exchange, the amount you receive from the exchange is being massively overcharged by gas fees. I.e., $125usd BTC exchanges for close to ~$110usd (Crypto) instead of $125usd BTC exchange for ~$123usd (Crypto). Any exchange I wanted to make was expecting minimum fees of $7 and up to $30 IN FEES. And I understand NOW, they have settings to adjust for minimum fees, max fees, slow, and fast, etc. and that is an interesting feature and I’m sure it will make a difference on exchanges to minimize this issue. So problem solved, whatever. That’s not really the issue. The issue is when I was discovering all this, I’m entering numbers in one crypto to see what it will exchange for in another crypto and if you’re not careful, the exchange button just POPS UP and if you hit it, it exchanges the crypto RIGHT AWAY. This is the problem. This is what makes it not user friendly. Here’s the deal, any time a persons is exchanging currency of any sort or making a purchase or trade of ANY kind on ANY platform there NEEDS to be a confirmation/preview page that prompts you before making any trade. This is an absolute MUST HAVE. A system that is one click and done is open to so many issues, including this one I had. Basically, when I click the trade, it should prompt me with a page that shows time/date, amount being exchanged, amount being received, amount in fees, crypto’s being exchanged, and 3 button options (confirm/cancel/edit). In one miss click I lost around $15BTC in fees that I couldn’t even examine and investigate. As far as I’m concerned, that sort of thing borderlines on theft of goods/services. But At the end of the day, there’s nothing that can be done. If Exodus wants their app to succeed, I suggest they make two adjustments; add the prompt to confirm trades before initiating and explanation on fees/service with the option to review at every trade. Otherwise, they have the best wallet out there. But this issue must be resolved before I even consider returning. They should also update there videos more frequently. All those old videos just make it look like a money grab and seem like nobody’s even monitoring the app with updates. So, SO much potential. I’m really upset I have to let this one go. I’ll monitor the app for further changes and adjust my review accordingly. I wish I could give 5/5, but 2/5 is all I got.

My wallet on exodus
Someone encourage me to registred PUP prime and I registered. Once i registered they told me I can make mone out of it but I never get anything back in return because I told them it contradict the rime and my time so they registered something on platform that it trades by itself . Year later I need to withdraw my money and they said I make 40,000.00 USD. I believed on that bec. of Elon on internet. But inorder for me to withdraw I need to pay insurance and percentage for the owner. I did, he instructed me through Coinsmart to exodus, now still pending, don’t know if legit
Desired outcome: Nothing they want me to pay more money before Ithey send to my bank
Please don’t make any further payments, I fell for this, they’re only going to end up asking you for more money, I almost lost $14k.
I had to seek alternative means to get my money back.
Please look to the note In the image attached to this comment.
Money Left Account
I am exhausted trying to type from trying to get money back. I write this on 12/23/22. I made a transaction and it went through. Moonpay is the company you will be going through to buy btc. Moonpay declined and reversed my money back to me due to safety reasons. This is not an instant refund process. My bank told me I have to now wait until 1/4/23 to get my money back. Mind you I’ve been buying all week, so I don’t understand the reason Moonpay declined my transaction. I attempted to buy BTC with all my money in my balance. I now have no money until 1/4/23. Moonpay customer service give off jerk vibes when trying to get money back, this app is fine when working well, but for me this problem came out of the blue. I was just starting to love this app.

Exchange rates are insane
Don’t get me wrong, the platform is easy to use and intuitive which is why I decided to begin moving my crypto over there. However, after exchanging a few cryptos I discovered that I was being charged hundreds of dollars per transaction. It worked out to be over 16%. On every exchange. I caught it after the second one, but it was an expensive mistake.
The next problem I had was when I chose to withdraw from the exchange, and instructed them to transfer ALL of each asset, they left about $40 of each asset behind. (An amount that is now apparently too small for them to transfer). So, that money is stuck there. My emails to support have been returned with generic and unhelpful responses. My best guess is that I’ve lost about $350 from by using this platform for 4 transactions.

This app shuts down, or blocks us from trading
Stay away from this app! This app prevents users from buying currency. One minute, you can purchase it, the next minute, it’s listed as “Temporarily Unavailable,” to trade. Sometimes you will get a message saying that the currency is having connectivity issues, etc... In the meantime the currency is fluctuating in price, and you’re not able to buy in at your desired price point. Just a fair warning! Update: when the currency became available again, almost 5 days later. I didn’t have enough funds because the coin price skyrocketed, and BTC plummeted. Therefore, I needed to add more $$ just to purchase the coin. Instead, I moved to another competitor, Voyager, that allows me freedom to spend what I want without giving me a minimum to rate to buy in at. This app is not good at all!

Funds Not Showing Up
I’ve transferred bitcoin to this wallet twice and have had issues with it being available both times. The most recent incident the bitcoin reflected immediately but I could exchange it because the transaction was pending. It was pending for over 10 hours, then disappeared completely. I reached out to the 24/7 help desk with a response 5 hours later. There was no explanation why my funds disappeared just basic instructions to update app and update network. I did this multiple times and the bitcoin still didn’t show up. Then out of nowhere the bitcoin showed up in my wallet only to be pending still. This has been on going for three days. I’ve had no access to my bitcoin and zero response or explanation of what is going on. With the current state of cryptocurrency, this zero response is scary.

Sending from wallet
I can’t say I like this wallet as the sending minimums are very high, I currently have close to $200 in value but I don’t have enough in either of my 2 assets to be able to transfer to an actual trading platform. I would love to send either out of my wallet to be able to reinvest in other assets. Unfortunately it will cost me a couple hundred just to meet the minimum sending limit to be able to withdraw from my wallet which with the fees associated will cost me more money. Not impressed as I never would have used Exodus as a wallet had I known that from the get go. Will update my review if the sending minimums are significantly reduced but at this point in time I can not recommend this wallet since I now have money tied up and can not do anything with it. Complete waste and Extremely unimpressed

This wallet is a joke - avoid!
I’m an experienced crypto holder who usually uses a hardware wallet to store my crypto, and I’ve used other mobile wallets for small crypto holdings. Didn’t use Exodus due to mixed feedback from other users, but decided to give it a try at a conference where Exodus was giving away bitcoin as a promotion to download the wallet.
The promotional bitcoin did appear - for one day - and then disappeared the next day, never to return. The same thing happened to my friend. I’ve been emailing support for weeks now, nothing works, seed phrase restore, nothing. The bitcoin is gone. I’ve wasted more time on this issue than the promotion is worth!
I don’t know what’s going on at Exodus, but the tech is suspect and I have zero trust in their wallet service. This is an honest opinion about my experience, very disappointed.

Wait!**Read First**
This Cryptocurrency app, originally was fantastic! It’s still a app I use, BUT when you need to move currencies around even if it’s once a month they are charging 68% more then they should and so I’m looking at other apps that allow me to move bitcoin too and produces a new address each transaction. I didn’t think about that, so hopefully this saves you money and if you still download it well then you must not care about your money...Sorry Exodus your customer service is and was always surprisingly great but your fees are according to a small application called “Blockchain” I’m paying 68% more then I should. Anyways I hope maybe you work on that cause I think your app is top notch on every other category but fee’s. You deserve to make a profit but unfortunately you chose the wrong way to do it, and that’s too bad.

Has potential but needs more walkthroughs/support
App has a catchy/flashy homepage and nice format, (only positive to this app for me so far and that is the only reason it got a star.. potential) however when setting up the app, I was not given much, if at all, on how to buy crypto or buy to directly send to another wallet like planned. As well, I have constant troubles getting my ID verified. It asks me to set it up using my phone but the last step is scan the QR code (on your phone screen) with your camera (on same phone) to validate. Obviously this is impossible. I tried using a friends phone to show the qr for me to scan and it sent me straight back to step one and eventually asks me to scan a QR code that it literally IMPOSSIBLE TO DO. Heard so many good things about this company but had the app for over 2 weeks and have yet to have a successful purchase or transfer. Customer service seems to be nonexistent or just doesn’t care whatsoever as well.

Only 12 word seed, useless
Reddit posts imply authors don’t understand point of seed phrases/bip, security as a whole, seed phrase security, or need for security. How can you be in this space and not be security first. You say, “we don’t get a lot of requests for 24 seed phrases”, experian didn’t get a lot of requests to keep people’s ssn’s secure either, and how’d that work out. Pure lunacy.
There are numerous other wallets, all with the standard 24 word seed phrases. Why would I go with this app when I can use theirs, and they care about security? In this space especially. What are you thinking.
You even have the audacity to suggest to create a new less secure 12 word wallet, and transfer. Which literally defeats the entire point of seed phrases to begin with. Like I totally want ANOTHER seed phrase I need to engrave in steel. Seriously, what is wrong with you.
Follow the protocols, make apps that comply with the standards, or get out.

READ BEFORE USE
Exodus on several occasions will close all trading/buying/ and sending of a crypto as it rockets (quickly shoots up in price), locking you in. Unable to now sell, send, and trade your asset you are stuck. Exodus will NOT open up trades until after the coin crashes back down. They will steal your opportunity to make money.
Do not use unless you want to be scammed
Ex.
Thursday- I bought $350 ADA. Nothing big.
Friday -holding my ADA
Sat/Sun -ADA went high up in value and all trading selling or sending has been stopped. Value around $430
Sunday/Monday- Price of ADA drops significantly and trading selling or sending is still stopped.

Was a 5 star review… now 1
The Apple Pay feature for $500 a day worth of Bitcoin sold me. Unfortunately it only works for about a week. Then all of the sudden that $500 limit a day is dwindled down to $500 every 3 or more days.
This has really screwed me, since I dollar cost average into Bitcoin. The first week or so was great. But now I’m stuck holding the bag, trying to get more at cheaper prices, to get a lower average price, and Exodus went from allowing $3,500 a week essentially, to $250-$500 a week.
Sometimes 3 or more days will go by, then I try to buy another $500, unfortunately Exodus tells me I need to wait 24 hours… but I’ve already waited over 72 hours…. I wrote support two weeks ago and still no response. I tried to update the software before writing this (there was a new update) but still can’t buy crypto with Apple Pay every 24hrs, let alone 48 hrs.
False advertising if you ask me. It’s a shame because I was in love with Exodus at first….

oh please
I started using the desktop version a long time ago. I really liked it. I was a newbie and it made it easier for me to get involved with crypto. I think I have more than a basic understanding of crypto and how it works, and how wallets work. as time went on, the desktop version kept getting more clunked up with aesthetics. I still have it on my computer but I really don't use it. now I really need a mobile wallet. I download it this thing once a while back and I gave it a try. I wound up deleting it because it was too difficult to navigate. About a year might've passed and I downloaded it again. I tried...I really did. It is just too much. There are so many bells and whistle's now, that one just gets lost in a complex maze of psycho Circus. it would be nice to see Exodus return to the roots and make an easy to use easy to navigate mobile wallet. cheers to the people that can navigate this "matrix" but unfortunately I am not one of them.

Wish I could give lower than one star
Automatically opts to use the highest gas fees on erc20 transfers. It’s possible to change the gas fee you’re willing to pay, but that function was a bit hard to find.
The crypto-crypto exchange “fees” are (1) not at all labeled but are very much “hidden” fees, and (2) quite quite high. The app gives you the value of one crypto and how much of the other crypto you’ll get from the exchange, and not note any fee. They may say that there is no official fee, but then why was there an on average $20 discrepancy between the original value and exchanged value. Seems suspicious.
Worse still: during times of high volume (price spikes or price drops) Exodus will temporarily shut down the ability to exchange cryptos experiencing high volatility. That shut down coupled with an increase in blockchain network volume functionally means your stuck, and that could cost you a lot of money...
As far as free crypto wallets go, there are better options.
I guess it’s nice that you can stake coins in this wallet. Maybe only positive.

If I could give half a star I would or no stars
I transferred US$200 to the app in hopes of buying some polkadot DOT. After seeing the fees I was charge for the initial deposit I bought less polkadot than I had intended and kept some in bitcoin. Then after watching the market and figuring out what I want to do ITry to transfer the rest of my bitcoin over to DOT and it wouldn’t let me because I didn’t have the minimum amount this is insane.I probably spent at least $60 in fees on maybe 3 or 4 total transactions.
I was told “speed” costs more money, yet 2 of the transactions took 20+ min.
My biggest issue is the gouging of $60 in fees I was assessed for a very very small amount of account transactions.
My goal now is to get the rest of all my investment out. This is really a shame, crypto has been billed out to be this next best thing but what is happening now is that platforms such as this are taking advantage of new people getting into the market and literally hitting them over the head with fees I will post about this on social media I will talk and scream from the rooftops about this don’t do it

Exodus frustrate all last year, blocked me from making’s withdrawal, I usually don't give a bad review but these guys treated me badly. They kept asking for more deposit after i tried to withdraw and never approved my withdrawal, I was able to regain my money after “gururec0veryagency ••c0m” intervention
