I hired this company to install a new AC unit and also install solar to my home. They did a great job with both projects. EZ Energy was actually recommended to us by a friend and that's how we were able to get in contact with them. After meeting them on my own, I decided they were a good fit to work on our home. I'm glad they were able to help us before our trip, and we haven't had any issues. It's been a hot summer and the AC unit has been on full blast with no worries on our electric bills.

This company, EZ Energy Solutions, installed windows and solar panels at my parents' home. They didn't tell us that a lien would be placed until we paid in full. We found out about this when we refinanced and paid them in full on a certain date. The solar panels have never worked properly, as our power bill hasn't decreased. They never mentioned that the system needed monitoring until recently when we finally got someone to inspect the roof damage caused by the panels. They sent someone to assess the roof and quoted us a high price to replace it. They said they wouldn't charge fees on the panels if we hired them for the roof job. However, if we chose another company, they would charge a lot to remove and reinstall the panels. We need to fix the roof damage they caused in the first place. They installed the panels on a roof that couldn't support them, and it started leaking the same year. We couldn't reach anyone until last year, and then we were told we had to pay. On top of that, we've been paying for the power bill and their services. They evaluated our panels and said we needed an upgrade, but they didn't do it because we refused to hire them for the roof job. Our system is also missing the wireless device to track it on the app. The lady we spoke to was mean and rude, and she wasn't willing to come to an agreement to help us fix their mistakes. Other solar companies have determined that the job is incomplete according to the city. They never scheduled an inspection with the authorities. Our solar panels don't work properly, and our roof leaks when it rains. They failed to mention important details, and it's frustrating that they expect us to pay more money to fix a problem they caused.

In mid-August, we got a shocking electric bill of around $400, when normally we owe next to nothing. This made us realize that our solar system was not functioning properly. So, we tried to get in touch with EZ. We first attempted to call the number on our contract (XXX-XXX-XXXX), but no luck. After many tries, we finally managed to reach out to EZ and discovered that they had new management. We then dialed the phone number listed on their website (XXX-XXX-XXXX). The first few times we called, it went straight to voicemail, which annoyingly informed me that the mailbox was full and then said "system error" before disconnecting the call. Finally, on 8.22.22, we spoke to a representative who explained that they were experiencing "system errors" and had just fixed their phones. They advised us to submit a request via email, and assured us that someone from the technical team would get back to us. Sadly, we received no response after emailing them. So, we searched for another email on their website and sent them a message. We also attempted to contact them by phone again, but received no response. It wasn't until September that someone finally answered one of our phone calls, and they gave us the same excuse about "system errors" and just having fixed the phones. They confirmed that our request had been noted, but warned us that the technicians probably wouldn't come for another two weeks. We followed up after two weeks, but still no response. Frustrated, we decided to reach out to "***" to figure out what was wrong with our solar system. They came out the following day and informed us that our inverter was completely dead. EZ has yet to respond to our request for a replacement inverter. We have a 25-year warranty that they are not honoring. Now, we're facing a second electric bill that exceeds $800. We invested in solar five years ago precisely to avoid worrying about electric bills, especially during scorching summers when temperatures soar above 100 degrees.

I bought a solar system from EZ Energy Solutions in early 2021. In July 2022, Solar Energy, the monitoring company, called me and said my solar system ain't working 'cause of a broken inverter. They said they'd send a new one to EZ Energy Solutions and told me to contact them to discuss and schedule a time for the replacement. I've called EZ Energy Solutions at least 20 times. The first 12 calls were ignored or had an automated message sayin' "this mailbox is full" or "the person at this extension ain't takin' calls right now!". 'Bout a month ago, I tried again and *** answered. He said he just started workin' there and would try to figure out what's goin' on. After 3 days, I called back and *** said he was still tryin' to figure it out. After 2 more days, I called again and got the automated message sayin' "the person at this number ain't takin' calls right now." I've already complained to the finance company 'cause the system cost around ***. They've tried emailin' EZ Energy Solutions, and today when I called *** (the finance company), their rep told me it's best to complain to ***. I asked them to try callin' EZ to confirm no one's answerin' their phones, and they put me on hold. After waitin' for 25 more minutes, I hung up 'cause I thought they just wanted me to disconnect after some time. I'm also gonna complain 'bout *** company in another complaint with ***. Please let me know how I can resolve this 'cause I'm payin' for a solar system that ain't worked in almost 4 months!

I bought a solar panel system 2 years ago. In March ***, I noticed that the system stopped producing power since November ***. So, in March when I found the issue, I called *** Energy Solutions to report the problem. They said I would get a call from their production department. After a few days without a call, I called their office again and they said I would receive a call from production. Finally, a few days later, I got that call and discussed the problem over the phone. They said I would get a call back. But I never did. After a week, I called again and they said the same thing, that I would get a call back from production. But again, I never did. This went on for about a month and a half, with me calling multiple times and never getting calls back from ***. Finally, they told me to call *** to start a claim. So I did, and they started a claim. Finally, *** Energy Solutions scheduled a day to come and check it out. They concluded that the inverter had gone bad and gave *** the information. *** approved the warranty replacement of the ***. This approval was given on *** of ***. Knowing that there needed to be some processing time and shipping time for the new ***, I waited a couple of weeks before calling *** Energy Solutions. After a reasonable amount of time had ***, I called again and they told me to wait for a call from production. From then until now, I can't count how many times I've called, only to be assured that someone from production will call back, but I never receive that call back. In the meantime, I haven't produced any solar power for my home. My *** true-up bill is estimated to be nearly ***, and it will only go up since we are now in the peak summer season with multiple *** degree days and I need to run the A/C. I'm at my wits' end. I just want the inverter replaced so my *** solar system runs.

My father purchased a $*** solar energy back-up battery system from this company in early 2019. It is now August and the system is still not connected. I have tried contacting the company by phone numerous times, but it goes straight to voicemail and they do not return calls. I am paying on a loan for this system.

Me and my Wife decided to add solar panels to our home
Me and my Wife decided to add solar panels to our home. After going back and forth with the negotiation and the amount of panels that I needed. I received an email from the ceo/owner at the time guaranteeing me that my solar panels will produce me 14,000 kwh per year with 15 panels install. At the time of writing this panels have not produce no where near to average or hit 14,000 kwh. I feel we were mislead by this business and was told anything and everything to make the deal. Now my electric bill is higher with the solar panels than it was before we have them install. We will like for this panels to be removed and our loan to be paid off.

Solar panel *** We have approximately 24 panels on our 1100 sf home. The annual billing with the electric company was one of the initial surprises. The monthly billing PLUS annual billing from the electric company PLUS the high value loan for installation applied to our property tax makes this the worst deal I have ever been personally involved in. The annual electric bill came in more than triple from last year. Over $! The electric company broke down the solar savings of approximately $10/mo. What did I buy? Bad inverters! No monitoring! The company has been "reviewing" my electric bills to offer remediation. This process started over 7 weeks ago. Now, I only get through to voicemail. Alternate numbers collected over the various interactions disconnect my call attempts. No callback from my messages or emails. When neighbors ask if I recommend solar, my response is NO (or at least not through this company).

I have to wait till she is back!? They broke the electricity circuits around our pool/grill area and needs to be fixed. I demonstrate enough patience to give them a chance to fix the system installed and to maintain good relationship. I was defrauded by the sales of the company, company and Service finance company LLC that paid the in full $55000.This is a breach of contract, breach of the good faith.

Solar Panels installed without a permit. Three months have passed *** the company will not reply or update us on the project. We signed and financed solar panels with EZ Energy Solutions at the beginning of May . EZ Energy Solutions told us they were "waiting on the city." I called the city of Corona and they said they are not a party to this issue and to call the County of Riverside. I spoke with the County of Riverside who asked if the panels were installed, which they are, and the representative told me that a permit should have been obtained first and that they are waiting for EZ to properly fill out the paperwork.I I has been over three months, and I have made numerous attempts to reach EZ but have not been able to reach anyone. I am currently receiving a bill from EZ Energy and from Edison. The solar panels are nonoperational and I am still being billed. It is concerning that EZ Energy would install panels without a permit, and now they will not contact me or update me about the project.

EZ Energy Solutions (By GNRG Inc.) breached the contract of solar system installation. We entered into a contract of solar system installation with EZ Energy Solutions(EES) on 8/23 to install 25 EA of the 335 watt *** black frame panels with SolarEdge optimized inverter/monitoring system with several conditions, which one of them was the guarantee of annual solar generation of 14,600KWh on the first year. EES stated in the signed contract that "In the event where the guaranteed power is less than 14,600KWh annually, EES will install additional panels and all necessary material and equipment to achieve the guaranteed electricity at no cost to the owners." Our solar system was officially turned-on on November 6. We first contacted EES on 10/15 that the projected solar energy generation will NOT meet the guaranteed 14,600 KWh, since it was only at 11,020 KWh 11 months into it, with only 1 month left. There was a *** KWh of estimated shortfall on the first year solar electricity generation guarantee. On November 7, I contacted EES' Production Manager,*** via email again to notify her of this breach of contract. *** stated that our files were on the owner's desk, waiting for a direction on how to proceed. After a month of waiting and several attempts on our part trying to reach out to EES with no luck. On December 17, I made my last attempt to EES and hoping for a feasible solution but did not even received a response.

On July 1, *** CEO/Owner of E Z Energy Solutions informed us that City of *** Building Department did not pass *** installation inspection of solar panels that had been installed on our house at ***, CA XXXXX. In addition, *** informed us that City of *** Building Department wanted the roof to be replaced as well as fixing the issues with the solar panels. *** told us that all of the solar panels had to be removed and taken off the roof top. Prior to the failed inspection by City of *** Building Department, *** were never advised, informed nor notified by EZ Energy Solution that the roof was damaged. Furthermore, as the owner of our home we deserve the right to be notified and given consideration if the roof required fixing. EZ Energy was not honest and upfront about the physical condition of the roof, but proceeded installing the solar panels on top of the damage roof. Apparently, EZ Energy decision was rushed in order to gain a significant sale. Subsequently, leaving the consumer with the problem and financial burden of getting the roof repaired after EZ Energy officially received their money from the company financing the solar panels installation. Secondly, when *** disappointingly reported that EZ Energy Solution failed the solar panels inspection, *** told *** that EZ Energy Solution could fix the damaged roof for $***. *** claimed that EZ Energy Solution is also in the roofing business. *** explained to *** that we are senior citizens and cannot add this addition bill to our fixed income budget. We question *** about why he wasn't truthful and straightforward about the damaged roof in the beginning when the employees of EZ Energy Solution initially came out to inspect the roof to measure and prepare the installment of the solar panels. On July 9 we contacted EZ Energy Solution Production Manager, *** regarding our discovery of patched shingles placed on the roof at our house located at *** without *** prior consent or approval. We thoroughly expressed our concerned about the poor quality of roofing work that was performed by someone from EZ Energy Solution. To our observation, the roofing job performed was very unprofessional and unacceptable. We are not happy with this situation. Due to the confusion, lack of communication, and uncertainties that have transpired regarding the installation not passing *** we are disgusted with EZ Energy Solution decision to patch non-matching black shingles on our roof simultaneously, without our permission or some type of authorized signature from the homeowner. These shingles completely do not match the original color of the roof, tacky and are botched up together. Then, EZ Energy Solution remounted the solar panels back on the roof top. We forwarded a letter of complaint to *** requesting EZ Energy Solution to come and remove these disgusting, piecemeal and fragmented shingles from our roof immediately. Then, ***, CEO/Owner responded by calling *** and stated that he could fix the roof now for $***. We asked *** to forward this proposal to *** and *** in writing to explain the purpose, the intent and the reasons to charge us this amount of money. *** responded, "I am losing money". We told *** that this kind of customers service is disrespectful, humiliating, and a disgrace to us as respectable senior citizens of *** - Kern County. We reiterated the fact that this quality of substandard workmanship is appalling. We don't deserve to be treated in this manner. Again, on July 14, City of *** Building Department failed the installation of the solar panel inspection for the second time.
