flex seal rubber coating
Have a pond that is 12 inches deep and 3' x 4' wide. Wanted to coat it so it would not leak. Bought 3 gallons of Flex Seal from Lowes at a price of almost $ 300.00. Coated it 8 times and let dry for 24 hrs. each time. Pond still drains down. I feel that this was an extremely wast of money? You make your product look so bullet proof on TV but in real time not so good. I'm not only very disappointed in out all that money. Thanks.
flex seal spray
I tried to use Flex Seal spray can to seal a pinhole in the size of a garbage disposal. I followed directions spraying an even thick coat and letting it dru and repeating this untill i used an entire 14 Oz. Can and it did absoultely NOTHING to seal this tiny pinhole... The leak is the same today as it was when i started. This product does not work at all. I am very disappointed and i will be sure to let everyone know this about your product.
flex steal tape
Used it on our pool. Pool had sm pea sz hole. Did not work. It ruined our new pool for our grandson and we saved our money for two yrs to buy this pool it also cost us money to fill it. We are out aprox 800.00$ will include video I want compensation for it and shame on them for all the work and money this cost. More important the child was very upset
flex seal tape
I had bought several things of the new flex seal tape because I knew that once you stuck the tape somewhere it seemed to be stuck, their was no removing it. So I decided to try it to patch a few small hole's in my 27' ft pool liner now all the hole looked like a knife cut it so it still had liner their was using tape to mend together . It worked for a day or so but then we noticed the liner seemed to be thinking out around tape. Needless to say the chemicals in tape ate at my liner until it was nothing left. So I believe flex tape should replace my liner and stand up to the word "GUARANTEE " .
flex mist
Why will you not send me your product? I have sent you a money order TWICE! I have called two times to get the correct address. It still has not come. Do you not want me to have it? The last one I sent on June 26. Please tell me what I have to do. I have not been given an order number. I am very upset about this.

product did not work as advertised
Went to Menards to purchase the Flex Seal Tape and Spray to help with fixing a small leak on a plastic hose for an above ground watering system. Multiple attempts with the tape and spray did not work, following all directions. On top of that when I attempted to seek help/refund from the Flex Seal Company they blamed Menards for the problems and refused to stand up to their guarantee and offer me a refund.
Liquid flexseal
Bought a can and it worked great but didn't use it all so I sealed the lid back onto it and than later when I went to use it was a solid rubber didn't know if this is what it was suppose to do or not but I wanted to know if I would get some of my money back or not. Can't remember where I purchased it at right now I would have to research my recites.
can any thing be done to get this back to liquid
I put two coats on the ribs of my boat on the bottom to prevent seeping and the seal BROKE AND IT STARTED SEEPING AGAIN. I put two cans pint size jars and refuse to buy more to do it again.
Flex seal bright in a jumbo can
Against the advice of the employees at ACE Hareware in St.Clair Mi, I purchased 3 cans of the jumbo Bright Flex Seal. They told me to use Rustoleum and I had seen the commercial and thought having a coat of paint/plastic on a new bird bath would make it easier to clean and it would last much longer. I was wrong. 3 cans and 3 coats and one day of use and it is peeling and chipping.! The three garden statues I used the Rustoleum on are in perfect shape and cost a fraction of the price. This is not a product I would recommend to anyone. I wasted a whole weekend of summer on a project with a bird bath that looks worse then when it was purchased!
Ace Hardware is the best.
Flex seal customer service
I ordered 6 cans of flex sea and was shocked when the charge came to $215.75. Tried to cancel order, but they sent it anyway. Shipped the order back, it has been 7 months and I still have not received my refund. This company is impossible to deal with, they have sent emails stating a refund is being processed and it never happens. They try to claim that my credit card company has blocked the return of my money.
You should contact your credit card company. The credit card company will contact Flex Seal to solve your problem. Since you are not the only person who haven't received you refund the credit company must have a large file on them.
Bogus Order
I saw the $19.95 price and went to the web site. When adding in all the ridiculous handling fees, the total was more than $75.00! Decided I did not want the product at that price, so I didn't press the order button. I backtracked and erased all my credit card and address info. Today, I get an email that my $75.86 order is on its way. Called their customer service and was told it would take 4-6 weeks to get a refund. This company is just a large group of liars! I don't know if their products work and I guess I will never find out. Because I would never do business with them. IT'S A SCAM! Prices are a scam, service is a scam. Just plain dishonest.
I bought this product at Walmart thinking is was something that would help seal my gutters from dripping. When I went to spray the spots that needed sealing the Flex Seal sprayed out like a thicker paint and was very wet and runny. It was advertised to be tar like, think and sticky, so it stayed where sprayed not running off the surface it was suppose to "stick" to. I was very disappointed with the texture; sort of thin like paint. Nothing new here. Drys kind of hard; no "flex seal" here. "Flex" not! Hope it stops the gutters from dripping. Used the $13 can all up doing the house.
In the UK the law makes the credit card company responsible, complain to them and it is charged back and you are automatically refunded. If the seller does this too often then the credit card company with holds a portion of each future payment to cover this behaviour. I hope you have the same in the US.
Small amount in can
Saw the product on T.V. an of course it looked like I could use it on any leak around the house, WELL on the JUMBO CAN it said must apply 2 coats for sufficient sealing of leak. In my opinion there is not enough contents in that so call JUMBO CAN to finish a leak. Paid $12.88 for an empty can with a steel marble in it. I learned my lesson the hard way an NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE THIS SO CALLED MIRACLE in a can. Thinking I should of done my homework first! another very disappointed customer. Doug Jedlicka.
doesn't work
I bought 12 cans of flex seal for my camper roof. The stuff just pealed off and now my camper has major water damage in it. Flex Steel DOES crack, peel and not seal at all. My camper is 27 foot.
All their products are CRAP ! Company should be Run on a Rail out of town. Snake oil.
False Advertisiing
Other complaints are accurate...two cans cost $49.92. The cans received are smaller than shown on TV. I ordered the BRITE which is shown and advertised to be 'white' look at the can lid caps yourself. The product arrived in cans with beige colored lids, that is the color, BEIGE, not white as shown. I purchased it to seal cracks in my WHITE stucco...
Read full review of Flex Seal and 5 commentsautomated clerk , order not complete
yes, i was ''helped '' by a damn ''machine '' i don't like them i want a human being on the line .we went thru the sill and machine ask for credit card # and address, finally she mention a white can is available as well . thats is all i wanted was white . she had me listed for two black cans of the seal . i stated nothing about black cans, so i hung up . BEFORE ORDER WAS COMPLETE . i called customer service right away and tried to cancel, she said it would be 24- 48 hrs. before we would know if it went through .so i call the bank and stop payment . this is no way to do business, i say shut them down ...
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Just closed out my existing credit card for a new one. I talked to this electronic voice and she kept trying to sell me all kinds of products and I would push a dial button to refuse but she kept going on and on to other products. she also voiced that I ordered 4 cans of Flexseal when I asked for 2 cans. Finally she said my order was completed and she hadn't told me what I owe, when I would receive my order or give me a confirmation number. After all the frustration I went on line to see what I could find out about this so-called company and what I read was basically a SCAM! I never did get to talk to a live person and now I know why.
.
won't spray after 1 application
I purchased 2 Jumbo cans of Flex Seal (As seen on TV) from WalMart Idabel, Ok yesterday. This morning I had planned to seal a leak hose. The can did fine for 3 layers, then I went back to put on another layer and the can would not spray at all. Just a little fizzle. It acts like it is of propellant. I don't know, but it is far to costly to lose almost all the product plus the cash cost. [protected]@gmail.com
I am having the same experience. I hopped to use it on some areas of mY RV. Shortly after starting the can becane to fizzle and wouldn't stop. I probably lost most of the apray power with most of the Flex Seal still in the can. A complete waste!
THANKS VERRY MUCH FOR YOUR POST, I WAS GETING READY TO BUY A CASE
Try clearing the nozzle. As it is essentially some manner of adhesive along the lines of a spray-on tar, it's quite possible it needs to be cleaned and the "fizzle" you hear is the compressed gases escaping through what little of the nozzle remains clear. If that doesn't work, see if the can is of the sort where you can buy a new nozzle from a hardware store or an online store that sells graffiti nozzles.
I would not encourage anyone to work with this company, even if the product is great
I called the Flex Seal telephone order number and went through an automated phone order process. I ordered 1 can of the product along with the free can with shipping charges offer. Before I could get a confirmation of my order and the cost, I was put through 15 minutes of additional advertising offers and finally hung up. The next day I called to verify my order and was told I had ordered 2 cans and the special offer meaning I would be charged and extra $49.95. I asked them to cancel the order and they claimed they could not. They suggested I send back the extra cans for a refund and gave me return numbers, promise of a return label and other things. Talking with the supervisor did not change the problem. I would not encourage anyone to work with this company, even if the product is great.
OVERCHARGED !!!
Same old 'crap' I've been reading about. TV ad says "Order a can of Flex Seal for only $ 19.99, [it stops leaks, etc], but wait we'll double your order. That's right get twice the number of cans, for only $ 19.99. Just pay the extra processing. "
When the bill arrives, not only do they charge you for the S & H, plus taxes, they do you charge you for the extra can. My bill $ 45.08 !
During the purchase, you never, ever speak to a human. The pitch continuously tries to 'up sell' you on the product, i.e., buy more and more. This is a SCAM AND IS TOTALLY FRAUDULENT ! Can hardly wait to try the product. It's likely garbage.
I don't know why they permit scam artists to pitch this type of deceptive practice. CONSUMER PROTECTION ? HELLO !
Shipping and handling scam
Flex Seal & their new product appropriately “Slick Fix”. This is ### operating a scam. It’s beyond decptive, being charged $85 on an initial order which is advertised at $19.99 + s/h – good luck on that! As well as not being able to cancel an order immediately online or by contacting customer service. Then being told “It’s too late it’s already been charged and is in the shipping dock” all within a couple of hours – amazing! This organization is beyond SLICK. I’m then informed I have to return the package at my expense via a tracking system shipping service. I can’t refuse delivery and send it back by their non-trackable method of shipping.
Can it get any more rediculous? I had contacted the bank prior to contacting their Customer Service (now there’s another joke) only to be told by the bank that there’s nothing they can do, as the charge hadn’t yet shown as posted or pending, and so to call back and follow up and check, which I did several hours later only to be told the charge had now been posted to my credit card, and I can’t do anything about it except go through the “appropriate” channels of disputing the charge……….GGGGGGrrrrrrrr!
Stay away, they will just rip you off
I ordered the tv special two cans of flex seal for 19.99 plus 9.95 shipping and handleing each for the two cans my order was supposed to be 39.89 on a company credit card! when I got the order they shipped two additional cans in the same box and the total bill was 149.61 I called them right away and told them of their mistake and they told me to shipp the two other cans back at my cost for postage and they would refund the price of the two extra cans.
That was bunk because I did not order them in the first place so why would I pay shipping to get them back to them? Next the total bill was 149.61 instead of the 39.89 it was supposed to be they would credit the account for 29.97 which was the price they charged me for each can of the flex seal. As a company I know this is not how you do business I did not do the extra money for front of the line as I was in no hurry and did not get the product for about 15 days but the bill is way higher than it was supposed to be and they will not credit the card with the overcharges.
I have turned them into the better business bureau here in Missouri and turned them into the Attorney General and we some locals and myself are getting up some more people they have ripped a new one and getting a lawyer!
DON’T BUY FROM THEM THEY WILL JUST RIP YOU OFF THE WHOLE THING IS ONE BIG FLEX SEAL SCAM THE PRODUCT MIGHT BE GOOD BUT IT IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE THEY CHARGE YOU!
Charged for multiple cans of Flex Seal
We wanted to order one can of Flex Seal. When my husband called in they tried to get him to order numerous other products and he declined all. When he finally got to the part to place his order, they tried to increase it by saying he would get one can free etc. My husband finally placed an order which should have been around $50 but they signed him up for repeat orders which he did not want and now we have to return the shipment at our expense so we will have confirmation that we returned it and we have to contact our credit card company to make sure that we will not be charged each month for this product.
This is a horrible company!
