I have been trying to cancel my flexi club account now for a year, as they lied to us on the presentation.
i have handed the situation over to my lawyers and he has sent letters to them telling them not to contact us, but they refuse to revert back to the lawyer. they have told my wife and me that they will call even though they are not supposed to.
they are enfringing on our human rights as by the law we are supposed to be under the protect of our lawyers.
They are not proffessional when they call and are very rude and abrupt, they often say that we don't have a lawyer and that we ar lying. But they refuse to take the lawers number when we offer to give it to them.

I applied for the membership and to my dismay also found out that none of the benefits explained to me by the salemsam are actually in effect!There must be some kind of legal action that can be taken against them! Any advice?

I totally agree with you.
Flexi club is a rip off con artist organization.
Stewart Lemont is quick to squeeze as much money out of you as possible.
He does not care one little bit about you after payment.
He should be held responsible and deal with the complaints but he is too scared and can’t handle pressure.
All he is interested in is a quick buck.
I hope all the people that have problems get together and close down Flexi Club.

They blacklisted me and my name is on the Credit Bureau Data Base. I had all my fees paid up 2009 and they agreed to cancel my membership. They stalled and did not react until this year, 2010 with a brand new account and now I must pay this as well before they will terminate my account. I call this THEFT. What else is it? FRAUD maybe. These guys are just out to cover themselves squeeze you dry! I don't have the money to pay them. They will call and drive my wife to tears over the phone. Not the way to do business.

Same kind of problem with Flexi Club.

Extract: YOU CAN GET OUT OF FLEXI CLUB ON CLAUSE 3.1. JUST RESIGN. CUT YOUR LOSSES. THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT. DO IT AND SAVE PAYING LEVIES FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE FOR NOTHING! - ANON

According to this clause, if you are fully paid up and owe them nothing, you CAN give them your resignation in writing.

I have done the above, but they still act as if they never reveived anything and keep sending accounts and threats. Fortunately I have done so by registered mail. Faxed copy of original letter to them about 3-4 times. Still no response apart from accounts and threats. Also some sort of "lawyer" is starting to make threats.

Flexi club is not real as they sell themselves. They are croocks. Its really painfull to be sentenced for nothing. I am a prisoner of this club for 3 years. I tried several times to cancell but all in vain. This affected my finance and health negatively. But thanks God for there is ending of everything no matter how long it takes and painfull it is and everyone shall reap what he/she planted. My God is powerfull than this croocks!

I have been a member of flexi club for 16 years and the time has come to end it which so far has been impossible. I have been trying for 2 years with everything paid up, I have sent lawyers letters, my own, registered letters, dont want money back just to cancel but to no avail they just dont bother to reply but they just keep sending accounts and adding huge amounts of interest on, I am still trying to get out of it, with the help of my lawyer They are the worst company i have ever had to deal with.

Flexi Club is the worst ever! They care about no one but themselves. They are not complying to the national credit act! I have been lied too and conned into signing a contract for buying points and now I dont have any money to pay them. They do not care what situation you are in, all they are interested in is the money they make! I hope they close Flexi club down!

I m the flexi- club member who joined the club in 2013 my problem is that after being robbed to sign the contract, I wrote several letters to stop the agreement between us they don't respond to me the only thing they do is to keep on telling me that I qualify to take a holiday so they can make a booking for me. I have been told that I owe them even though I tried to communicate with them through writing that I would like to council the contract. I m experiencing a serious financial constrains I live under un-tolerable financial situation. I m still stressing that I would like to council the contract even if I forfeit the contribution already done I have no problem I just want to stop. Mem.No. 748301

I eventually settled all cost but still received a judgement against me.
Stay away from Flexiclub contracts or any other deals - you will be deceived and lied to!

When making a booking through Flexi Club; also contact the resort directly and get a quote from them as well. You will find that booking directly is cheaper. (That apart from the purchase price and points)
I have reported this, with examples, to Flexi Club, more than once, but not only were their explanation for this different every time, but absolute rubbish!

I read all the complaints. Can the Consumer Board not sort them out. Why dont everyone get in contact with each other. Form a whatt's up group and get the Consumer Board on board.

I'm in the same predicament. i requested them to cancel my contract instead they gave me a new account and now they keep sending me the accounts. please let's get help.

Hi Trudie - are you still handling the class action suit - we would like to join. Been members of Flexi Club for many years and are now retired and can no longer afford the annual fees. we have in excess of 193 000 points

My parents were sold lies and joined this club and never utilized their services instead they have paid over R20000 but still were told that they can't cancel as this is for life and that should they die we shall inherit this ridiculous scam of theirs. It resorted to my parents going under administration because they had people in 2013 who came over to our house to inspect their assets and threaten to sell the house if maybe to get their money of which they said its R23000 per month. My parents are on state pension paying administration fee of R470 per month since 2013. How do I get them out of this as it's really ridiculous as they never got a loan so don't get why they owe this flexi club money when they never utilized any service for them
