Forward Tax is a terrible company. They withdrew too much money from my account, even though we had agreed on a price. I've been trying to get in touch with them for days, but they haven't responded to my calls or emails. I'm out a lot of money and I give them a rating of zero.

Forward Tax was amazing, the customer service was great. *** is the best, she really knows what she's doing. I'm super stoked to be one of their customers, they really rock! Keep it up guys, thanks for everything!

No response at all. It's like they don't even care about their customers. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with their lack of communication. Don't waste your time and money with Forward Tax. Look for another tax service that actually values their clients.

Forward Tax is awesome to work with! They were super helpful in answering all my Qs, and really cared about my concerns. I was referred by Optima Tax and am super happy I gave them a try. My go-to for tax needs now!

By chance, I came across Forward Tax since Optima Tax referred me to them. They did a great job from start to finish. They were real professionals who took care of my issues much quicker than I anticipated. I commend the Forward Tax team for their outstanding work, and I will definitely recommend their services to anyone in need of assistance. Keep it up, Forward Tax!

I paid $295 for an investigation and they quoted me around $400 to help me resolve the issue. The investigation uncovered that $7000 was re-instituted after bankruptcy and is now in collections. Forward Tax quoted me over $2000 to assist with resolution, but they won't provide scenarios until I start the payment process. The customer service is pushy and uses scare tactics to pressure you into paying more than you can afford.

i paid *** dollars and waited for them to call me back but it took them forever. when they finally did call, they gave me wrong information that was totally not useful. it felt like i was teaching them instead of the other way around. i dont like their business style at all, super shady. save your money and stay away from them. total scam!

I was told to use Forward Tax by Optima Tax and I had a chat with *** to begin my paperwork. After fees of $295.00 to start and two more payments of $361, their phone number no longer works. I tried calling *** G a few times, but I never heard back. It's looking like this company is a cheat. I tried calling Optima Tax on January 18, 2022 and was given the old phone number that doesn't work now. They shouldn't get any stars!

I hit up Optima Tax cuz I had a tax prob from 2019 back in March . Optima Tax relief transferred me to Forward Tax and I spoke to *** from Forward Tax. Gave her all the deets. Gave them $900 upfront. Didn't hear nothin for like 7 months so I reached out *** and she only talked to me through the client portal. She said she still hadn't heard back from the *** like 3 months later. So, about 10 months later, I reach out again and she says she needs me to complete a power of attorney thing. So I signed it and sent it back. I've been trying to get ahold of *** since Feb 2021 but she won't get back to me. Can't even access anything through the Client Portal no more. My tax shiz still ain't fixed. I want my dang money back cuz this seems like a scam to me!

Forward Tax didn't help me with my IRS problem! First, I called Tax Relief, but they said I didn't owe enough for their service. So they transferred me to Forward Tax. I explained my problem and they took my information. They said they could work with me and set something up with the IRS if I paid $295 to get started. I sent the money and a couple of weeks later, they sent me an email saying they had information on my account. But when I tried to call the number they gave me to reach them directly, I kept getting a voicemail that nobody answered for four months. I even tried calling their main office but got no response. Now I'm getting letters from the IRS and I want my $295 back. I got Coronavirus during this ordeal, and I'm having trouble with my finances. I'm trying to get back on my feet, but I have to deal with the IRS on my own. It's not right to do this to people when dealing with these issues.

This company was referred to me by Optima Tax Relief (I think they're linked) because my tax bill was under $10k. I was told to pay $295 for an investigation and solutions. We had a chat scheduled for 10am, and by noon, I still had not received a call. I started to ring them and no one picked up. Finally, at their sales line, someone answered. They put me through to the right contact, with no explanation for not sticking to the plan. She shared their "discovery", which was just a repeat of my information + some false data! Then she revealed that if I wanted them to continue, it would cost me $1,095, which seems too much since I owe $4500. I didn't see any point in giving that much more, and I declined. They even offered me a payment plan, but nothing to counsel me about my options with the IRS. If they had shared their charges ahead of time, I never would've given them a ***. Hopefully, the ComplaintsBoard.com can assist me in recouping my money because of the incomplete services.

Forward Tax is a ok company I guess. I talked to a lady who knew stuff about taxes but after I gave them $295, they didn't tell me anything. We were supposed to meet at 9:30 but they didn't show up and I had to chase them down. They said there was a glitch but how can that be when they sent me a bunch of emails? They said they couldn't help me but after I complained a lot, they said they could maybe help me for $3500. I can't get in touch with anyone now and they keep lying saying a supervisor will call me back. Finally, an old lady called me back like a week later but she still didn't help me. This company is not good and they're dishonest. They're a rip off and don't even have lawyers. I want my money back now because I'm unemployed and my family helped me pay them. Cut ties with them, they're unbelievable.

I contacted Optima Tax in November for tax trouble, and they directed me to Forward Tax. I spoke with a guy named *** who said it would cost $***.. After a month, I called twice and waited long to hear back. Finally, *** got in touch, suggesting it would cost $***.*** to proceed. As the dates were almost upon us, I agreed only if we could dispute the issue. The paperwork was finished, and I waited a month with no feedback. I only heard when I received a letter from the *** and left a message. The supervisor, ***, told me someone would call that day to file my 2021 taxes when I'd already filed them. Two more letters came, and each time, they told me to send them to obtain resolution. However, they never mentioned disputing the ***. Today is May 4th, and after three calls and one message, they said I'd missed their April e-mail and needed to react to the proposed resolution. I want a full refund.

I hit up these guys to get some help fixin' up a tax problem I was havin'. The dude named *** who helped me out didn't seem like he knew jack about taxes and even screwed me over pretty bad. Didn't do a single thing to help me except for takin' my dough. I tried to get in touch with 'em, but no matter how much I emailed, texted, or called, there was no answer. They kept ringin' me up though, tryna get me to sign some papers or whatever. This place is a total joke and rip-off. I wanna get my cash back. She couldn't even get it right when Tax Day was, and to top it off, she made up two different lame excuses when I tried to reach her.

I paid ***+ for my tax issue, but Forward Tax didn't contact me. I waited a week and they still didn't call, so I called them. I found out that the numbers on their website weren't for Forward Tax, but I eventually got a direct line. I asked for a refund, but they haven't called me back. Now they are trying to process my tax after I asked for my money back. Their service was not good, and they lied to me.

I called Forward Tax on October 30, for help with an IRS letter claiming I owed $3454 after an audit. They said they would investigate and charge $295. Today (11/06), they told me I still owed the money and suggested I speak to a tax attorney. I was confused because I thought I was working with a tax attorney from Forward Tax. However, Mr. *** said he wasn't an attorney. I asked for my fee back and told him not to misrepresent himself to others.

I paid some money upfront for them to get going, but then they asked for more money to process my case, which was paid in two separate payments over two months earlier this year. It's now May and I haven't heard anything from them since. I feel like I got ripped off because I could have just paid the Federal Government directly for the same amount. I found out after the fact that there have been a lot of issues reported with this company on your website. Now I'm seriously worried that I might have given them my personal information and been scammed. The last time we talked, they tried to start the process all over again, like I was a new client, which would have cost me even more money.

I read their analysis and saw that other people also had this experience. They also face unexpected billings from ForwardTax. I told them I don't want to go further and desire my money back as they didn't tell me about the extra fees in advance.

In octobr I wa notifid by the *** about some tax issues I had. I went to forward tax to get hep. The frst 300 dollars was supossed to get me a lawyer from their team to hep me out. After I paid I didn't hear back from them for about a week. I emailed them to ask what was up and they told me to set up a date to talk with the lawyer. When the date came, no one called me. I emaled them again and they said there was a miskate and I would talk with the agent instead. The info they gave me was nothing new and I felt like they lied to me and that I had wasted my money. They also closed my case without my pemission and after I asked for a refund they never emailed back. I had a hard time getting in touch with them. They are unprofessional and I'm out 300 dollars now.

So, I reached out to Optima Tax in December to help with my 2019 tax situation. They put me in touch with Forward Tax, who returned my call. We had a chat and I agreed that they could help me. They said that the investigation would cost me $300 upfront and they would let me know when it was done. I needed to respond by January 10th, but I didn't try to get in touch until after Christmas. I called a few times, but no one answered and I was really worried. Eventually, I printed out the Forward Tax agreement and sent it off to the ***. They only got back to me around January 15th, which was after the deadline. They said they could still help me, but it would cost me $1445. I couldn't afford that, so I agreed to pay $289 per month. They said they would let me know when they had a solution, but three weeks went by with no word. Then I got a letter from the *** demanding repayment. I spoke to Forward Tax and they told me to send the letter to them and they would sort it out. Then I got two more letters, one saying they had taken some of my 2021 tax return as payment. After the third letter, they said they would have a solution soon. But it wasn't until I called them a few times in April that they finally got back to me. They said they had sent me an email with a solution, but all I got were the details from the first two agreements. Later that day, I received something they called a "Resolution", but I refused to sign it because they didn't do anything for me. I want a complete refund of every penny I paid.
