Luckily, I was able to get in touch with Jackie over at Fran's, and she was really helpful. She even took off the $30 shipping fee from my order! I did tell her that their shipping department needs to step up their game, though. I mean, come on - they should be protecting the item inside the carton from the shipping materials! The packing job was just plain bad.
All that being said, the umbrella stand itself was actually really nice. It's just a shame that the packing and shipping were such a mess. If Fran's can get that sorted out, they'll be golden.

This website is pretty good. It's easy to see all the products and the checkout process is smooth. However, I had a bit of trouble with the delivery. They said it would be delivered by UPS, but when I tried to get the tracking number, customer service didn't respond. Then, I got a call from a local shipping company saying they had a delivery for me, but it was scheduled for a time when I wouldn't be home. It was such a pleasure to work with a company that provides service and quality in today's world. You don't wanna miss the opportunity to work with them!

I ordered some furniture from Fran's on April 17th and it finally arrived on August 5th. Unfortunately, the furniture was the wrong color and not what I had ordered. To make matters worse, we were contacted in June and told that one of the chairs was lost and would be replaced with a loveseat, but we weren't sure which chair it was. We were still expecting 7 items, but only received 6 and neither chair was included. The boxes were also damaged during delivery.
We tried to refuse the delivery, but the truck driver wouldn't take the furniture back. So we were left with 3 pallets of furniture in our driveway and had no choice but to unpack and put them in our house. We tried to contact Fran's, but all of their phone numbers were not working.
To make things right, I would like a navy blue rocker and navy blue covers to be sent to us. We will return the copper colored covers that we received. If Fran's had communicated with us during the 3.5 months that we were waiting for our furniture, we wouldn't be so upset. We also weren't expecting delivery on the day it arrived and only received 45 minutes notice from Central Shipping Inc. If it were up to me, I wouldn't use that shipping company again.
