Furbo Chat is useless. Adds more frustration than you originally start with. They tricked me into thinking I would get a replacement deal on a furbo camera with their online customer service. When comparing just buying direct online as a new purchase, it saves you the huge burden of time of returning old device. They told me once they get confirmation I shipped it back, then they will let you complete the transaction of getting a new one for the same price as the online store. What a total waste of time and crap. There is zero price difference and you dont have to ship your old one to them. It does you no favor to have to do all that if you can just simply buy it online and boom, its done. Are they nuts?
Moral of the story, just buy it online somewhere, that has a real customer support number in case. They use manipulitive verbage likely to get commission, at your cost and inconveniance with absolutely no benefit to yourself! Now they locked me out of my current device so I cant even use my app or try to refurbish it. Nobody will link it back to my original email.
Claimed loss: $40hr x 2hrs. and mental frustration and now zero access to original account.
Desired outcome: fix the problem asked, its so simple, and give me $80 credit for the 2hours of my time lost.
